Foss Swim School - Richfield: what do users think?

Jennifer Wilson: Very organized, lessons seem pretty consistent across the different instructors.

marcho man: It’s always the best place for the swim classes

V Diesel: Love it! Love this place for all they do for their associate members. Great family place to learn how to swim!

Diver VanAvery: Foss has got it down! It’s a well oiled swimming business that is so professional and fun. My kiddo loved her instructor. It’s worth the cost.

Merary Palacios: They truly are a Great Swimming School, providing quality and hygiene service for our children. Thank you so much for everything you have done for your daughter. 😊 ♥️

Michael Dendinger: Great, welcoming staff! We have only done one class, but the instructors we have had have been great!

Andre: The enrollment system improved. Great coaching for kids over 4. Not recommending kids under 4 - waste of money.

Chuan Hang: This school is very good I recommend it.

Liz R V: Our instructor was wonderful and genuinely friendly.

Eli Johnson: Brought our 1 year old and have gone through the first class. Facilities are well designed and well kept. Our teacher was fantastic, lots of singing and high energy fun. Our swimmer got so much more comfortable in the water, we will definitely be continuing lessons here!

Dr. Alicia Granholm: made this summer with water comfort and learning how to swim!! Can’t recommend Foss enough!

Zach & Christine Swan: We absolutely love foss and adore every staff member there. We have had my son in lessons since he was 6 months and we switched to foss when he was almost one because it was so much cleaner, brighter and fun. We have another son now and even with the two kid discount we are sad to say this is the first quarter we will not be enrolling and I am heartbroken as my son loves it but with the price increase there is no way to even afford one child. We have used our referral code and refereed families which helps but for over 800 bucks for two children to swim in insane. We are devastated and will miss foss so much but over 400 dollars for one child is unreal if you divide the classes it divides to a dollar a minute. We will miss everyone! But can’t recommend them enough

Jamie M. Kocourek: My 4 year old had a great experience and gained so much confidence in the water! His coach Lawli made him very comfortable and was lots of fun. We are signed up for the next quarter. The facility is brand new and very clean. They have a nice play area out front too where my 1.5 year old can play during her brother’s lesson.

Carlus Dingfelder: As a matter of "you get what you pay for", Foss Swim School has been with every penny for our kids. They have had a variety of teachers, but each and every one has been committed to the lesson plan and we have seen consistent progression. Regardless of whether there is a small hurdle here or there, our kids have been supported by the instructors and they have gotten over it. There is always an underlying commitment to safety with the staff, but they have also continually provided a fun environment for our kids to enjoy themselves and advance their swimming skills.

Brandon Shook: We are in our 2nd year with our 23 month old. Have had a great experience with teacher Hunter during this session. Great way to safely let the kids experience water as they learn skills.

Anne Tower: We love Foss Richfield! Altho the most expensive swim school in the area, we have had such amazing experiences with the tiny class sizes and the teachers being so so good at their jobs. It is worth every cent and more! We keep coming back and our daughters swimming skills at 4 years old has exceeded all expectations!

AMI Swim School: what do users think?

Barbara Riley: I am seriously SO pleased with AMI. We’ve put our kids through several programs - from Foss to the local community pool.AMI is by far the best program. Love the small classes, the great pool environment and the instructors.Absolutely recommend! Worth taking a slightly inconveniently timed session just to get your foot in the door. Your child will excel at lightning speed.

Pastor Jerod Freeberg: We have tried so many swim schools with our now 5yo. AMI is by far the best, the instructors are so kind and engaging. The pools are nice and warm for the kiddos and we are so happy with the results!

Joseph Heinen: Perfect lessons, couldn't ask for more! 🤘

Bryan Bohlman: Great instructors and program. Couldn't recommend it enough

Stuart Hansen: We love AMI and have seen our child's skill and confidence in the water improve tremendously! Register as soon as registration opens because this school is popular. Even if your first series isn't at the most convenient time, work through it for a series because you'll get a better session for your schedule after being a recurring student. Very happy with our experience here!

Cecilia Martinez: My kids love the classes

Naomi Stenson: We absolutely adore AMI! We are so grateful for finding such a wonderful program for our daughters swim lessons.

Meghann Schmidt: Jon is a fantastic swimming instructor. He is extremely knowledgable and has a friendly, natural rapport with his students. His teaching is really impressive; I have watched my daughter grow as a swimmer remarkably in three months time.

M Simmons: We are so happy to have found AMI and Mr. Jon. He has a great way with kids and our son has thrived here. The pool is a great warm temp and since there is only one small class at a time, no chaos. We've been so happy with these swimming lessons.

Jill Hansen: Highly recommend! Mr. Jon is great with kiddos, his teaching style is fun and effective. Our daughters excitment about swimming and being around water has never been higher.

Alli MP: kids up for swimming lessons was that they would be challenged enough while still learning to swim well and have fun. Jon is a great instructor and I'm very happy with AMI swim school! Class sizes are small enough that each child gets individual attention and plenty of swim time

Claudia Alderman: If you are looking for an excellent swim instructor in the perfect setting for learning, then look no further. Jon is the best and the location is phenomenal!

Foss Swim School - St. Paul: what do users think?

Joel Abrahamson: Group lessons organized by age and ability, including adults. You can also get private lessons or semi-private, meaning with one other student. However, the group classes are still small: 3 or 4 total students. We have seen a lot of progress swimming at Foss. The pool is warm!

ABDILADIF HASSAN: Was so great , patient and supportive, she immediately realized my son’s anxiety level, calmed him and the rest went so smoothly. I could have given her and the entire team a star. Great first time experience it was.

Megan Hoye: My child, and children of three friends, all have had great success and great teachers at different Foss locations. Very pleased and will be continuing lessons here for a few more years!

daniele Vernetti: We love Foss. My son is so excited every week for class. He feels so proud of himself and his learning. Instructors are great. I feel he’s actually learning how to swim and be comfortable in the water. Wish I had enrolled him sooner. Highly recommend.

Juan Miguel: Is a really good place to learning swimming the teacher is so nice with my kids thanks. Foss

Ashley Norris: Would 10/10 recommend Foss Swim School! They have their system down to a science. The teachers are amazing and they keep the water warm for the kiddos which is a game changer. Definitely worth the money!

Elise Bosman: They were wonderful with our two girls. We will definitely be using them again. The open schedule is great too!

Randy Bey: Great place for kids to learn swimming

Ann Deely: Brent is a fantastic coach!! First time we’ve seen this type of exponential growth in our child’s swimming.

Shanice Sullivan: Foss exceeded my expectations when it came to Michaelas first swim lessons ! Julie at the St. Paul location was extremely patient with Michaela and she made so much progress in her 2week summer session. I was nervous about how she would react to the lessons but everyday she was so excited to get back in the water. I would HIGHLY recommend.

Jacob Young-Haug: Expensive, but effective. Son likes classes and is doing better each time.

Jim Lupient Water Park: what do users think?

Jeffrey Grier: Easy to get to water park. Lots of summer time fun

Rachel Ibes: Took my 2yo here on a Sunday afternoon. She loved both the little splash pad and even the bigger splash area for a little bit.I felt secure knowing the life guards were attentive in case anything happened, and they were making sure the rules were being followed. This is a good thing to see when you have a small child that could easily be trampled by older kids, even with me following her everywhere.I didn't need to worry though, as all the other kids were respectful and were taking turns with my daughter on the little slide. The bigger kids also stayed in the big pool/splash area and left the little splash pad for the very small children.I love that you can walk right into the water and go as deep as you are comfortable with. They have lots of options for all ages, so it will grow with our family over the years. We love it!

YWCA Minneapolis - Uptown: what do users think?

Kelsey Schwartz: Super clean and nice staff.

Christine: I am heartbroken that you’re leaving this space, and even more so about the bro-bar that is certain to move in after a costly, and wasteful rebuild. I love the mission, but am a tad bitter about the loss of this asset in our community. I hope the numerous employees you laid off are going to land on their feet.

Bridget Ryan: I started at the downtown Y 35-40 years ago and happily moved to the Uptown pool. Lovely locker room and just a great lap swim experience for decades. Midtown is adequate but just that. I signed on for fitness and well-being, and I still want that. Will the Y close Midtown in the next few years once they establish their social service programs? Hard to know. Had a good tour at Midtown’s pool today in advance of the November 1 change. Will have to give it a try. Adequate will have to be good enough for now!

D: tried this location out because of the reviews saying it wasn't too busy. Can confirm. Happy to be a member here

Peter Schulze: Great staff and group fitness classes

Nancy Harms: Some great yoga classes!

Mikayla Hagen: A great place to turn off your brain for an hour and get a fantastic workout in. All of the coaches and staff are energetic and super helpful.

Kai Peterson: Just went for the first time after moving from Los Campeones. Definitely has pretty much anything you’d need at a fitness club and seems reasonably clean

Danielle Greving: Reasonably priced, never busy, and plenty of classes to choose from. Only downside is you have to pay for parking.

Edgar Jordan: When I initially started my my membership with the scholarship and discounts given it was a true blessing to be able to afford it and still have cash left considering the income I was working with so it allowed me to have money left to spend on things particularly that I needed and to give a small portion of it to someone that may have been ineed as well so I couldn't be more appreciative to be able to do both Thank you to the Y.M.C.A

Robert Bischel: I really enjoy working out here. The space is really clean, the lockers are secure, the staff is friendly, theirs so many activities going on during the month and it has all the equipment necessary for a quality workout.

jon olson: Best pool ever! That is all.

Alexandra Schmidt: Nice outdoor swimming area, free to enter, has a separate area for ppl to swim laps which is nice

Jeffrey Grier: Very nice free pool. Right next to a park so you can take a break to grill and head back in too!

Kristi Lehman: Webber Pool is a wonderful free community pool. I love that it’s non-chlorinated, which is much easier on skin and hair. The lap lanes are almost always available in the evenings and if there’s a short wait, there are plenty of nice spots to relax on the grass or benches. There are lockers, but you’ll want to bring your own padlock. There are outdoor showers to rinse off before and after. It’s a good idea to check the website before heading over because it is occasionally closed is the water quality isn’t acceptable. The staff and lifeguards are always friendly and attentive.

Gail Ebert: Go on a hot day. 80 cloudy n breezy w cold water we only lasted 15 minutes.

Mss Misty ree Zerwas: Clean, friendly, environment for my kids & I to go swim or even just play at the playground, or a nice walk!! "Well" lite @ NIGHT!!

Ladybug 2013: Great place! AND, Natural water cleaning system for the pool NO bleach/ chemicals!!!

Dyan Sheely: nice location nice grass area

Natasha Villanueva: What a beautiful place to be on a summer day. There are a lot of grassy spots to sit in the sun and nice native plants to observe wildlife in addition to this free pool to enjoy.

Jason Christenson: Super fun and the staff is really nice. It is a beautiful facility and pretty well-maintained. They have really excellent zero entry pools for a little kids! Clean bathrooms, and lots of deck seating. They also have a concession stand, but I have not tried any of the food there. Five stars!

YWCA Minneapolis - Downtown: what do users think?

trent lawrence: I recently visited this YMCA location, and I must say, it's one of the cleanest and most well-maintained facilities I've ever experienced. The staff was incredibly nice and accommodating, making the process of obtaining my 3-day pass a breeze. Once inside, I was impressed by the extensive selection of free weights and machines, as well as the spacious layout that allowed for a comfortable workout environment. This YMCA truly exceeded my expectations, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a top-notch fitness facility.

M Smith: Love this place! Plenty of exercise equipment in good repair. Great, quiet pool with lap swim never crowded. Very clean throughout. Safe locker rooms with built-in locks. Never crowded.

Garim Lee: , spacious vanity spaces, and individual spaces to change clothes.I did not register for the membership just in case, because I wanted to have some experiences before I actually join as a member. I think I am going to join, as I look forward to visiting this gym more frequently.

Esther Osayande: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,QualityAbsolutly love this YWCA. My only regret is that I didnt join earlier!

Mary Anne Falker: Thomas in membership is kind and concerned about your membership. He follows up on his email. The facility is clean and close to pristine. I have no fear of Covid there because their protocol is in place. It is as well maintained as a hospital and I work in a hospital. Everything is up to standard for infection control. And yet they make you feel accepted and welcome when you walk in the door. They don't put on airs, they are kind and generous. Thank you ☺️💖

Jacqueline Thompson: Clean and accessible. Nice club.

360 Guide: awesome healing experience

Anamaria La Fontaine: I joined this gym about 3 months ago and have had a very positive experience. All of the staff members are very friendly, it isn't too busy, and the instructors for the classes really get to know you and your needs. I am one of those people that prefers cardio machines and classes over free weights and it fits my needs for both. I don't think I've ever had to wait for a cardio machine.

Mary Claire: Love it here! The best place to work at and the children are amazing.

LVMilanika: who will make whole experience unforgettable for your kid and will find a way to each and everyone. We see progress in swimming and my daughter cannot wait for class each week.

Teresa Mckenzie: My son has been going there for a few years, he loves it! Instructors are great, pool is warm and he has really progressed in swimming. We feel much more comfortable with him in the water now.

Erik Solberg: Very accommodating on schedule changes and teachers are pleasant and engaging. Fees reasonable.

Gloria Atika: We've been students at Atlantis for about 18 months now. My kids love their instructors and they have made great progress with their swimming knowledge. I love the attention to detail with their swimming mechanics. We'll be Atlantis members for a long time.

Kelsey Nimmer: We love Atlantis Swim School. Our boys have bee working with Coach Sasha and recently Cosch Mary. Both instructors are very knowledgeable and kind. Our boys have learned great swimming skills and ask to go back weekly!

Kayla L: We love Atlantis! Every single instructor is great and the front desk team is so helpful!

Rochelle O: One of the best swim schools we have been to. Highly recommended.

Leah Gefroh: Great family-owned swim school. Personal attention to every customer, unlimited makeup policy, and good pricing. Our son is always happy after each class. We may recommend this place from the best side and wish them to grow up. Select Atlantis!

Andrea Richter: Really appreciated the cheerful atmosphere and flexibility with scheduling, also the instructors are firm but tender which was just what our autistic son needed.

Jess F: Atlanta Swim Academy has an AMAZING program and AWESOME instructors like Tory and Theo.

A Ch: kids have been going here a while. Great instructors very caring. the kids seem to be learning at their own pace and have made some good friends there as well.

Sarah Moen: Great place for private lessons, especially if you are looking for a fast way to get your child comfortable with the water. The teachers are very patient and know what they are doing!

mtvibez: Great place with good instructors that mix in fun and games into a fun lesson program that actually works. Highly recommend the place for all families that want to teach their kids swimming

Suzanne Gerjets: Special Needs Parents need to check them out !! We have been so impressed with the services at Atlantis. We did private lessons for a couple years at another local swim school prior to COVID closures. They were so set on their "curriculum" that our child would either refuse to participate with his oppositional defiant disorder, or he would just go through the motions and not internalize much. He has made such amazing progress already in the few weeks he has been with Mary at Atlantis. Her flexibility, compassion, and attention to his needs has been outstanding and we are so happy that we changed locations!! He actually looks forward to swimming lessons now, and it is not a fight to get him out of the house to go!

Aleksandr Chernin: Great swimming school! Instructors and front desk staff are very professional and nice, and the program is kids-friendly. Has individual shower rooms - very convenient!

Southdale YMCA: what do users think?

Paulina Klat: there! Liked the pool a lot. I agree that this facility is a little outdated but who cares. Works great for what I need from a gym:

Forrest Cory: Clean, modern looking facility with friendly staff and quite a few different fitness spaces. Quite a bit of cardio equipment as well as egym strength which is cool. I do wish they more racks and overall free weight options - maybe add some Hammer Strength racks and plate loaded equipment. Overall the facility was not overcrowded at 6am when I worked out. Good variety of exercisers young and old. Would definitely recommended to a friend

Kate Field: . They have classes all day and you can just walk in anytime, no need to sign up. Diverse mix of people, ages, and fitness levels in every class, so I never feel out of place. The hot tub and steam are great

guled sanyare: Steven Cook Somalis are nation so many different Somalis just because you seen one bad person Doesn’t mean everyone is like that Get to know us better stop judging people

Foss Swim School - Plymouth: what do users think?

Harry Moran: Always busy, a great instructor and the kids have fun while learning.

Emily T: I am so so thankful for the way that I feel like so many of the teachers care about the progress of my kids! I I'm so thankful that when there was a hiccup with our registration they fixed it and helped us make it all work with both of our kids! I am particularly appreciative of the manager Caitlin and the swim instructor, Brianna, who both have helped my daughter with anxiety in the water feel more comfortable and excited about going to swim lessons! I highly recommend!

Susan Olatayo: Foss Swim School is the best. My children have been attending swimming lessons there for the past few years and they always love to go to class. The environment is pleasant and welcoming. The water is warm and clean. They take children’s safety seriously. Their teachers are professionals and wonderful. I will definitely recommend Foss Swim School to anyone interested.

Sivaram Chinta: Expensive. Good coaches. My kids like swimming here very much. Shout out to the teachers and support staff. Very helpful in providing information and support.

Tricia Dehmer: Very clean, great instructors, always on time
