YWCA Minneapolis - Midtown: what do users think?

J T: For the price of membership and what you get in return, it’s worth to have a membership here. I originally chose the Y, because higher end gyms are double the price. I park on the street for free. The staff is always kind and helpful. The cliental is diverse.

David Ingold: , and I enjoyed the pool, sauna, and gym! Staff were friendly too.

moriah o'malley: Great customer service and great facilities!

Citlali Morales: Clean gym, nice staff, variety of machines, hot tub, two pools, the track is great. It’s my favorite gym!!

Coryisthebest Cort: Мне нравится это место, персонал нормальный, иногда раздражает, но это было давно!

Ibrahim Mohamoud: Лучший тренажерный зал

Tim Morgan: Люблю это место! Хорошие люди. Я пользуюсь фитнес-центром, раздевалками и бассейном/джакузи. Также имеется спортзал и уход за детьми.

YWCA Minneapolis - Uptown: what do users think?

Kelsey Schwartz: Super clean and nice staff.

Christine: I am heartbroken that you’re leaving this space, and even more so about the bro-bar that is certain to move in after a costly, and wasteful rebuild. I love the mission, but am a tad bitter about the loss of this asset in our community. I hope the numerous employees you laid off are going to land on their feet.

Bridget Ryan: I started at the downtown Y 35-40 years ago and happily moved to the Uptown pool. Lovely locker room and just a great lap swim experience for decades. Midtown is adequate but just that. I signed on for fitness and well-being, and I still want that. Will the Y close Midtown in the next few years once they establish their social service programs? Hard to know. Had a good tour at Midtown’s pool today in advance of the November 1 change. Will have to give it a try. Adequate will have to be good enough for now!

D: tried this location out because of the reviews saying it wasn't too busy. Can confirm. Happy to be a member here

Peter Schulze: Great staff and group fitness classes

Nancy Harms: Some great yoga classes!

Mikayla Hagen: A great place to turn off your brain for an hour and get a fantastic workout in. All of the coaches and staff are energetic and super helpful.

Kai Peterson: Just went for the first time after moving from Los Campeones. Definitely has pretty much anything you’d need at a fitness club and seems reasonably clean

Danielle Greving: Reasonably priced, never busy, and plenty of classes to choose from. Only downside is you have to pay for parking.

Foss Swim School - Richfield: what do users think?

Jennifer Wilson: Very organized, lessons seem pretty consistent across the different instructors.

marcho man: It’s always the best place for the swim classes

V Diesel: Love it! Love this place for all they do for their associate members. Great family place to learn how to swim!

Diver VanAvery: Foss has got it down! It’s a well oiled swimming business that is so professional and fun. My kiddo loved her instructor. It’s worth the cost.

Merary Palacios: They truly are a Great Swimming School, providing quality and hygiene service for our children. Thank you so much for everything you have done for your daughter. 😊 ♥️

Michael Dendinger: Great, welcoming staff! We have only done one class, but the instructors we have had have been great!

Andre: The enrollment system improved. Great coaching for kids over 4. Not recommending kids under 4 - waste of money.

Chuan Hang: This school is very good I recommend it.

Liz R V: Our instructor was wonderful and genuinely friendly.

Eli Johnson: Brought our 1 year old and have gone through the first class. Facilities are well designed and well kept. Our teacher was fantastic, lots of singing and high energy fun. Our swimmer got so much more comfortable in the water, we will definitely be continuing lessons here!

Dr. Alicia Granholm: made this summer with water comfort and learning how to swim!! Can’t recommend Foss enough!

Zach & Christine Swan: We absolutely love foss and adore every staff member there. We have had my son in lessons since he was 6 months and we switched to foss when he was almost one because it was so much cleaner, brighter and fun. We have another son now and even with the two kid discount we are sad to say this is the first quarter we will not be enrolling and I am heartbroken as my son loves it but with the price increase there is no way to even afford one child. We have used our referral code and refereed families which helps but for over 800 bucks for two children to swim in insane. We are devastated and will miss foss so much but over 400 dollars for one child is unreal if you divide the classes it divides to a dollar a minute. We will miss everyone! But can’t recommend them enough

Jamie M. Kocourek: My 4 year old had a great experience and gained so much confidence in the water! His coach Lawli made him very comfortable and was lots of fun. We are signed up for the next quarter. The facility is brand new and very clean. They have a nice play area out front too where my 1.5 year old can play during her brother’s lesson.

Carlus Dingfelder: As a matter of "you get what you pay for", Foss Swim School has been with every penny for our kids. They have had a variety of teachers, but each and every one has been committed to the lesson plan and we have seen consistent progression. Regardless of whether there is a small hurdle here or there, our kids have been supported by the instructors and they have gotten over it. There is always an underlying commitment to safety with the staff, but they have also continually provided a fun environment for our kids to enjoy themselves and advance their swimming skills.

Brandon Shook: We are in our 2nd year with our 23 month old. Have had a great experience with teacher Hunter during this session. Great way to safely let the kids experience water as they learn skills.

Anne Tower: We love Foss Richfield! Altho the most expensive swim school in the area, we have had such amazing experiences with the tiny class sizes and the teachers being so so good at their jobs. It is worth every cent and more! We keep coming back and our daughters swimming skills at 4 years old has exceeded all expectations!

Jeffrey Grier: Easy to get to water park. Lots of summer time fun

Rachel Ibes: Took my 2yo here on a Sunday afternoon. She loved both the little splash pad and even the bigger splash area for a little bit.I felt secure knowing the life guards were attentive in case anything happened, and they were making sure the rules were being followed. This is a good thing to see when you have a small child that could easily be trampled by older kids, even with me following her everywhere.I didn't need to worry though, as all the other kids were respectful and were taking turns with my daughter on the little slide. The bigger kids also stayed in the big pool/splash area and left the little splash pad for the very small children.I love that you can walk right into the water and go as deep as you are comfortable with. They have lots of options for all ages, so it will grow with our family over the years. We love it!

Foss Swim School - St. Paul: what do users think?

Joel Abrahamson: Group lessons organized by age and ability, including adults. You can also get private lessons or semi-private, meaning with one other student. However, the group classes are still small: 3 or 4 total students. We have seen a lot of progress swimming at Foss. The pool is warm!

ABDILADIF HASSAN: Was so great , patient and supportive, she immediately realized my son’s anxiety level, calmed him and the rest went so smoothly. I could have given her and the entire team a star. Great first time experience it was.

Megan Hoye: My child, and children of three friends, all have had great success and great teachers at different Foss locations. Very pleased and will be continuing lessons here for a few more years!

daniele Vernetti: We love Foss. My son is so excited every week for class. He feels so proud of himself and his learning. Instructors are great. I feel he’s actually learning how to swim and be comfortable in the water. Wish I had enrolled him sooner. Highly recommend.

Juan Miguel: Is a really good place to learning swimming the teacher is so nice with my kids thanks. Foss

Ashley Norris: Would 10/10 recommend Foss Swim School! They have their system down to a science. The teachers are amazing and they keep the water warm for the kiddos which is a game changer. Definitely worth the money!

Elise Bosman: They were wonderful with our two girls. We will definitely be using them again. The open schedule is great too!

Randy Bey: Great place for kids to learn swimming

Ann Deely: Brent is a fantastic coach!! First time we’ve seen this type of exponential growth in our child’s swimming.

Shanice Sullivan: Foss exceeded my expectations when it came to Michaelas first swim lessons ! Julie at the St. Paul location was extremely patient with Michaela and she made so much progress in her 2week summer session. I was nervous about how she would react to the lessons but everyday she was so excited to get back in the water. I would HIGHLY recommend.

Jacob Young-Haug: Expensive, but effective. Son likes classes and is doing better each time.

Temitayo Oshinowo: Really fun for kids and family.

Daniel Severson: Life guards were attentive and clear with instructions. My 4 and 6 year old enjoyed the shallow pool- it is nice the separate pools, for safety. It was nice having the option of family restrooms and the cashier was kind.

Jason Christenson: Super fun and the staff is really nice. It is a beautiful facility and pretty well-maintained. They have really excellent zero entry pools for a little kids! Clean bathrooms, and lots of deck seating. They also have a concession stand, but I have not tried any of the food there. Five stars!

T T: Very nice pool

Emma Dillon: Best water park for only 9$ tons of lifeguards and the place is well kept and perfect for families.

Noah Patterson: . I plan to go back again soon.

Daniel Mayotte: All in all, it was a good time. The kids were pleased, having fun and felt safe. I believe it's a good idea to visit here with the family and friends. The concessions were cost friendly and the staff throughout the facility were kind and courteous.

Hallie Hayes: Didn't know they were closed on Mondays

Mary Majkozak: Good place for different ages to enjoy

Paulina Klat: there! Liked the pool a lot. I agree that this facility is a little outdated but who cares. Works great for what I need from a gym:

Forrest Cory: Clean, modern looking facility with friendly staff and quite a few different fitness spaces. Quite a bit of cardio equipment as well as egym strength which is cool. I do wish they more racks and overall free weight options - maybe add some Hammer Strength racks and plate loaded equipment. Overall the facility was not overcrowded at 6am when I worked out. Good variety of exercisers young and old. Would definitely recommended to a friend

Kate Field: . They have classes all day and you can just walk in anytime, no need to sign up. Diverse mix of people, ages, and fitness levels in every class, so I never feel out of place. The hot tub and steam are great

Nick Mehring: and the teachers and staff are awesome.Only complaint: wifi is slower than the clock and sometimes doesn't work at all.

Kate Harahan: Coach Mia is great. She is patient with my child and has a great attitude even when things aren’t going great. Celina and Alex made it really easy to do private lessons and work with the instructor we wanted to.

Tabitha Cota: Best swim school we’ve ever been to! Highly recommend

Tali Poser: Our family has been going to Aqua Tots for the last eight years! Their staff is excellent, making sure the students are safe and having fun and they are great at working with nervous or reluctant swimmers.

Barca Fan4life: It’s been amazing for my 3 kids taking lessons here for plus 7years with the oldest and every instructor has been wonderful, for their patience especially with my 2 sons. It’s that great until when am about to cancel their lessons for some reason,my kids always cry at home. Thanks guys for the experience so far and will definitely recommend aqua tots .😍

Michelle Merryman: We love Aqua-Tots! We love being able to start up and stop lessons at any time. We also love that if we are on vacation or have a sick kid that we can call and cancel our lesson and we get a make up to use in the future in our account. Great place!

Rachel Wood: We’ve been with Aqua Tots for a few years and it’s been fun to see how my two kids progress week over week. Love the weekly status updates and feedback from the coaches too!

Connie Gelhaus: started in level 3 about four years ago and has been in swim club for the past six months. Both my children have so much confidence in the water since starting at Aqua Tots as opposed to the fear they had at other programs. The small classes and attentiveness of the instructors here are critical to their success.

Bharath Pusuluri: The way they treat parents and students in awesome. They help them in preparing class proactively by watching 2

St. Paul Midway YMCA: what do users think?

Robert Kranz: A great YMCA! I especially appreciate training with Gus. He is a trainer that is so encouraging and really tailors his sessions to suit you. He helped give me stretches to start overcoming a past injury. I look forward to when I can get in more sessions with him.

Matthew Heggestuen: The cleaner should get a raise. It’s quiet and safe. I wish they would replace some of the numerous unused cardio machines with a better selection of weight machines, though. There’s only one leg press machine for the whole gym, nothing for calves, and only one each of many other machines that are in high demand.

Mia Suja: Great staff and Zumba instructors! I love this location. I wish they opened at 4am instead of 5am!

Jenny Johnson: The cleaning staff goes above and beyond. The locker room is always clean, showers included. The staff also come up to the gym area and clean all the equipment, too.The exercise equipment is in good shape and if something breaks you just let the team know and they seem to have it fixed quickly.Alex will give you a full tour and explain all the membership benefits and answer all your questions. Front desk staff are super friendly and helpful too. Personal trainer Kevin is great and customized a plan specific to my goals.

Angel Bix: Diverse population; Good equipment; I like the walking track overlooking the pool. Locker rooms are adequate. Pool and vortex is great. There aren’t very many staff available to show you how to work the machines. That would be my only complaint. We use this Y as our main facility and Shoreview when we have our nephews, so we can use the outdoor pool.

Jess F: Atlanta Swim Academy has an AMAZING program and AWESOME instructors like Tory and Theo.

A Ch: kids have been going here a while. Great instructors very caring. the kids seem to be learning at their own pace and have made some good friends there as well.

Sarah Moen: Great place for private lessons, especially if you are looking for a fast way to get your child comfortable with the water. The teachers are very patient and know what they are doing!

mtvibez: Great place with good instructors that mix in fun and games into a fun lesson program that actually works. Highly recommend the place for all families that want to teach their kids swimming

Suzanne Gerjets: Special Needs Parents need to check them out !! We have been so impressed with the services at Atlantis. We did private lessons for a couple years at another local swim school prior to COVID closures. They were so set on their "curriculum" that our child would either refuse to participate with his oppositional defiant disorder, or he would just go through the motions and not internalize much. He has made such amazing progress already in the few weeks he has been with Mary at Atlantis. Her flexibility, compassion, and attention to his needs has been outstanding and we are so happy that we changed locations!! He actually looks forward to swimming lessons now, and it is not a fight to get him out of the house to go!

Aleksandr Chernin: Great swimming school! Instructors and front desk staff are very professional and nice, and the program is kids-friendly. Has individual shower rooms - very convenient!

Sao: My daughter has been at this location for over half a year and through several instructors. By far, the best instructor is ISA. He is patient, supportive, and always full of positive energy. My daughter cried when she advanced to the next level knowing he will no longer be her instructor.

Shelby Ablan: Absolutely love this swim school and our swim instructor.

Stephanie Swanson: Anthony is a great swim instructor for my 4 year old. We've had 5 lessons and my son is getting more confident each time. I especially appreciate that at the end of the lesson he has each student choose a skill to show off to their parent.

Carli Smith: I have been a part of the goldfish system with my two children for 4 years now and I will recommend them to everyone I see!

Chris Brueske: Отличное место для занятий плаванием. Бассейн чистый, преподаватели отличные.

I am particularly appreciative of the manager Caitlin and the swim instructor, Brianna, who both have helped my daughter with anxiety in the water feel more comfortable and excited about going to swim lessons! I highly recommend!

Deb Courts-Brown: Loved the lazy river! The area for younger kids was big and had some fun slides. It was nice to see there was a diving board in the deep pool area, but a water slide would be nice, too. The rock jumping and rock climbing part was different from most pools. Lifeguards were paying close attention everywhere, and they have a first aid station for safety.

D'Angelo Asar: The most cost effective fun you'll have all summer! Hands down. 10:10 recommendVisited on Weekend Wait time No wait Reservation recommended No Price for adult entry $6–10 …

Katherine Walsh: $4 after 5pm - a great deal. Could use a dedicated cleaning crew to pick up rubbish & hit the bathrooms/change rooms more regularly. Staff are nice.Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait Price for adult entry $1–5 …

Robert Schroedl: Ok, so this place is great. The only thing that keeps it from getting 5 is the concessions. I feel like they don't stock approporiately. They just run out of everything. Like pizza gone. Hotdogs gone. Lukewarm nachos Gone! Everything is sold out by 4pm and it's open late. So ... bring your own food and it's perfect.Wait time No wait Reservation recommended No Price for adult entry $6–10 …
