Michael Brant: never retires!!!Wheelchair accessibility: My mom is in a wheelchair and there is a ton of space for her to move around and multiple choices for her to sit.

Jamee Varda: . Service was great

Christian: Lina is the star of this place in service!! Wow!! We came in within 30 minutes of closing and she made us feel extremely welcome. Wow. And she was friendly and made it a great experience. She deserves a raise and in this business climate…every service detail makes a difference. We will come back because of her!! So thank you Lina. We look forward to seeing you again soon. Kyatchi: what do users think?

Brooke Nelson: Had a great first visit! Extensive menu makes deciding difficult, but assures new experiences for every visit. Nice atmosphere and good service. Can’t wait to come back!

Claire Leo: The service here is always wonderful - attentive, without being pushy. Happy hour is absolutely the time to treat yourself without getting too spendy - I love that the happy hour menu has so many options; you can put together a very nice meal.

Solaris Wang: Been here 4 times just this year, it is THE spot for my sushi craving, the only comparably better place in the state is Kado no mise, that’s how good it is. The rice and vinegar balance is perfection - subtlety sweet and savory like fresh, slightly fermented grains. Soft yet never mushy. The kanpyo roll with the calabash gourd is the perfect texture with the rice, and their other offerings like pressed sushi and nigiri use a well respected seafood supplier that high end sushi places in the city use. The ramen is savory and authentic. I see complaints that the maki is small, keep in mind that they don’t have rice on the outside…California rolls originated from you guessed it, California…

Oak Druid: Reasonable happy hour with a nice variety of options. Chirashi sushi bowl was a little light on the fish with only 3 pieces, but a nice variety of pickles and such. The fish was good quality however. Great service!Service: 5/5Recommended dishes Sushi …

Billy Sushi ビリー寿司: what do users think?

Dan Schaffer: Best sushi in town. Actually, maybe the best down town restaurant period. My personal favorite is the uncultured swan roll, followed by the salmon and tuna sashimi and scallop hand roll. A great place for date night or celebratory dinner. The drinks were also fantastic, with the “Cuz I Love You” being my favorite. Light and refreshing.

Rob Anderson: First and foremost the sushi here was fantastic. I had the Silly Billy roll, George Clooney roll, and the Boom Island roll. Every flavor was incredibly well balanced and very distinct and unique. My server, Connor, really made my dining experience incredible. He walked me though my drink order, food order and any question I had in a knowledgeable and intelligent way that will have me coming back and requesting him by name. Thank you Connor!

Andrew McFarland: My girlfriend and I had an amazing time here! We came here for my birthday and sat at the bar. It was so fun to watch the kitchen staff work right in front of you. The restaurant has a fun, lively environment that gives it a welcoming ambience. We had a wonderful server named Alex that was very attentive and kept us on our toes! We also had the pleasure of talking with chef Michael while he was working on the line. This goes to show how friendly and accommodating their staff are and how they make Billy’s Sushi a great place to eat!It goes without saying that their food was incredible! We had the Veggie roll and Number 9 roll, both were great options. We definitely will be back!

I make everyone try it! It's definitely my favorite sushi place.Do take note that this place is SUPER popular and every time I go, it's packed. Still very beautiful and a very romantic atmosphere.

PinKU Japanese Street Food: what do users think?

Ammarah Sadiq: Best sushi ever!!😋 really sad you guys are closing😔

Prototypes End: Dine in: Yes Takeout: Yes

Jeff Storms: Unique take on Japanese street food! Some classic tastes and some others that are different. Brings me back to Japan for sure. I highly recommend the Okinomiyaki, the Katsu Curry, and Karaage.

Shelby Cara: incredible food, the chicken karaage, crispy shrimp rice and hiroshima dish were AMAZING

Linda Reed: The food is wonderful and the service is impeccable all in all a very good experience !!!!!!!.

Kathy Owens: I had the pork dumplings and it was very good. I'm not adept at using chopsticks, though and would have liked a fork, but it was good, the place was quaint, and just a nice experience. Will go there again.

Nick Goebel: Nice place, helpful and friendly staff. Food tasted and looked excellent!Their signature cocktail was great too.

John Fillman: Just got home from PinKU. Dinner was fantastic. New manager was fantastic. Our favorite neighborhood spot for comfort food.

Kimora Willis: Edit 9/19: X, the owner of PINKU, clearly cares about the feedback he receives from customers. After noticing a negative trend in his restaurant, he took the steps to better management and workplace conditions. There aren’t many restaurant owners like this, and I would encourage anyone who leaves a bad review to make sure it can be a learning opportunity for him, because he will definitely take advantage of it. Thank you X, for being one of the few restaurant owners who strive to do better.Unhappy staff leads to unhappy customers. Food is mediocre because they are always training in new employees to replace the ones that quit. I’m glad they pay their employees well, however that isn’t enough to make them stay. PINKU should work on team effort.

Ale Yasoko: The food was perfectly seasoned. Great service and friendly staff. Definitely will go back.

MOMO Sushi: what do users think?

Jessica Husted: Sushi was AMAZING! We had the tuna appetizer as well as the sushi bucket. We were able to request no shrimp with the bucket. We sat outside by the many fires. Would absolutely recommend it!Service was slow and often absent, but they were very busy.

Marissa Sanmiguel: This is by far the best sushi I have ever had in my life! The aesthetic of this restaurant is beyond stunning! The portion size of food, is huge!! Every time me and my boyfriend eat sushi, we spend well over 100$. I was in shock when we ordered two dinner entrees, chicken fried rice and steak hibachi, gyoza for appetizers, 3 types of sushi, and drinks, ALL FOR 70$. I’m giving everything 5 stars, minus the service. Still 4 stars, cause she was great, just very busy. Will definitely come back, and often!!Also, parking was a little hectic, but we found a spot! So worth it!!

Amber Hoppe: Amazing sushi as always. Would recommend the angry dragon roll and the Tibetan mountain roll.Dietary restrictions: I am dairy free, had no problem getting food.

Kyoto Sushi: what do users think?

Andrea Lechuga: We occasionally go to Kyoto Sushi for the all-you-can-eat dinner, which is very good. However, today we decided to have a takeout Valentine's Day dinner from Kyoto Sushi, and we're so happy we did! They turned our salmon sashimi into a beautiful rose, and the rest of the sushi was delicious and made perfectly to order. I have an allergy to avocado and requested it be omitted from the order, and they made every roll perfectly. Their attention to detail made for a very delicious holiday dinner!Dietary restrictions: They are very attentive to dietary restrictions if you make them clear in the takeout order. Their accuracy was very much appreciated!

Kay melissa: Had the drunken noodles with homemade tofu and they were amazing! Cute quaint restaurant with delicious foodFood: 5/5 …

Allison: Small restaurant. They do take reservations and actually put your name at the table. But the website said they will remove your reservation if you’re 30 min late. We got the egg rolls which were good and I liked the sauce. They were out of seaweed salad and not in season for mango sticky rice.Fresh sushi. Drunken noodles were good- make sure you ask for wide noodlesParking: There’s a small lot on the side of the building near the dog spa that’s free

Rachael Jones: Went with my husband on a Saturday night to try out their sushi. Typical pricing, great quality fish/ingredients, friendly service. The menu is fantastic. Ordered 3 rolls and Chicken Pad Thai. All delicious. Took off 1 star because the sushi rice was quite thick/overpowering.

Olivia kor: This place has a special menu on Mondays. It’s small but cozy especially eating alone. The food was great and the staff were really friendly. I would definitely go back with more people to try more things. The pork belly was great especially with the jeow sauce and pickles- I would definitely get this again. The presentation of the hamachi was refreshing.

Lisa R: Excellent Sushi and Japanese cuisine! The atmosphere is quaint with small personal service. Plating is beautiful and the food is so very good. Cost is average to medium. If you are in the area and looking for sushi this is the place to go.Parking: No customer parking. Will need to meter park nearby or use the apartment parking ramp at a cost.

Danielle Laveau: I've been here twice now, and it's phenomenal every time. I love the small, intimate setting. The servers are wonderful. And the food is the best part. The first time I was here, I tried some sort of shrimp fried rice dish that was the best I've ever had. This most recent time, I tried the spicy salmon rolls with a variety of negiri. Everything had so much flavor and the negiri options nearly melted in my mouth. My boyfriend tried the ramen and that was also great. On top of that, their plum wine is my guilty pleasure. It's SO GOOD. 10/10 recommend.

Allen Hage: Best sushi in the state.

Lindsey Lorentson: is one of the most delicious bites I have ever eaten. The flavors are so fresh and delicious together. The sweet heart roll was also very yummy. The Ramen was good. It is a nice spot and I am always surprised how slow they are. The parking ramp is pay to park but gives a nice option to park right at the restaurant in a city where parking to eat can be a nightmare. Overall I highly recommend and suggest you try the special if they have it when you are there!

Maddie Hasiewicz: Fantastic cocktails! The cucumber Martini and blood orange margarita were so good. Fresh ingredients and well balanced! I ordered the mexican poke bowl for dinner and the fish was very fresh! Very tasty and great portion.Vegetarian options: A whole page dedicated to meat free options!

John Doe: We sat down for dinner at 5:00. There were about 10 people in the restaurant. When we were finished with our meal, the restaurant was entirely filled. Now we know why. Our dinner was terrific. The food was great and our server, Keegan, was wonderful. He checked in on us through out the course of our meal. Many restaurants have great food, but it’s people like Keegan that keep people coming back.

Patrick Thompson: First time here and a great experience! Super cool place, awesome decor and environment. Overall felt very upscale but not pretentious, service was fantastic by all. Everyone was very courteous and polite, very attentive. Drink and food times were quite quick.Food was delicious, had Chicken and Avocado Eggrolls for an appetizer, steak and walleye entrees then a cookies and cream cake for dessert. Steaks were cooked just right, meal additions were handled accurately, everything was delicious, plus portion sizes did not lack, we all happily struggled to finish our plates. They surprised our daughter with a candle for fun which she was sooo excited about.

Charly: We went here for dinner and had Chicken Cashew and Three green chicken. Both entrees came with rice or fried rice as an upgrade. We also had edamame and asparagus roles as appetizers. The food was good and well prepared. We have been there before and the food was amazing. This time it tasted very unseasoned and was not very good.I guess you can be lucky or as we were today, unlucky. The service was good too. The portions were on the larger side, so we took take home boxes with us.

ally pinkus: Went for dinner as a group of 5 adults. All ordered entrees. 4 soups and 1 app. Food flavor was good but everything took forever and most of our meals came out cold. Only one of us asked to have it reheated and it took 20 more minutes. We were there twice as long as we needed to be.

Luca Matthews: I absolutely love the food here, but found that it’s a little dirty in the inside. The overhead lights have a ton of flies built up inside and the booths had food on them. It was a little off putting and I tried to ignore it but wanted to write in case they review these. Otherwise, food is great and the server was so nice and helpful with suggestions!

Yumi Japanese Restaurant & Bar - Edina: what do users think?

Christol Schultz: Stopped in without a reservation at 6:30 on a Friday, no table but plenty of room at the bar. It was busy but not noisy and even though they had tvs behind the bar, volume was down.Jonatan the bartender was friendly without being intrusive and offered suggestions which we took a couple and they did not disappoint. The titanic roll was topped with guacamole which oddly worked and we loved it. The crispy rice spicy tuna app was perfectly cooked and ample tuna on top. Both were very fresh and had good quality fish. Calamari although well cooked with a tasty dipping sauce isn’t something I think I’d order again because the menu had lots of other options. We shared two apps and a roll and that was plenty for us.We had the Hanami Spritz and Big in Japan cocktails..forgot the photo but they were very refreshing.Definitely will go back. You cannot enter the restaurant from the mall, you have to enter off of parking lot, it’s between Macy’s and Lifetime Fitness.

Tj Prall: . The roll is sweet from the mango salsa, spicy from the chili oil, and a unique mix of fish, avocado, etc. The California Roll is beyond imitation crab as this roll has real crab, which is really nice. The seaweed salad is something beautifully presented with shredded carrots, cucumber, water cress

Kado no Mise: what do users think?

Jordan Brainard: We came for Omakase Matsu and also had the sake pairings. For two people, the highest level of omakase, a flight of paired sake, plus a couple extra orders of nigiri, we approached $500. The bill is total, there was not even a line for leaving a tip.I think this is a 5 star experience and worth the money for you if you know you already like the style of food. The other person in my party has eaten and prepared Japanese food for years and thoroughly enjoyed the entire meal, as well as the sake.On the other hand, while I consider myself an adventurous eater, and after trying everything, I found the food to be almost off putting. I would not take someone here if they don’t know what they’re in for: cold jellies, custards in warm broth, tiny whole squids, eels, obviously raw fish, etc. In other words: I don’t think this is a place you go to be introduced to the style of cuisine. The service was without reproach, best service I’ve ever had at any restaurant across any cuisine or city in this country. The service ware was also so unique. Every piece was unique, repaired with bits of gold, and traditional. Very beautiful. Everything done here is done with a high level of perfection and attention to detail.

Linda McLoon: All through the worst part of the pandemic, we tried to get take out from our favorite places. Restaurants really struggled, and it seemed important to keep the ones we loved. Kado no Mise was one of them. We just went back for a matsu table service multi course dinner. It is such a wonderful place, and the food is perfectly prepared classical Japanese food. We also opted for the sake tasting, which I highly recommend. It was really marvelous. There were many courses. We started with sakizuke, which was made of surf clam, spinach, tofu skin, and shitake mushroom. They served "wandering poet" sake with it. Sake names are the best! I won't enumerate all the many courses, but every one was perfect. We ended with a fabulous sequence of nigiri, including one topped with seared waygu. The most crazy course of the evening was fugu! Yes- the infamous puffer fish. It apparently is flown in from Japan and verified to be safe. It was interesting, for certain! The chef collects antique service ware from Japan. Each dish is served on beautiful and unique dishes. Each sake was served in a unique cup. These items are beautiful, and it feels very special eating from them. They are located at 33 North 1st Avenue in the North loop.I think it is impossible to eat here and not leave feeling calm and happy. The chef is the lovely smiling man in the bow tie. Be sure to wave!

David Wnek: Kada no Mise offers stunning food in their tucked away downtown location. Their omakase experience was delightful, featuring unique and delicate nigiri that blew us away, along with choice Japanese delicacies we've seen nowhere else.Alas, their tucked away location led to a very strange atmosphere, particularly the odd little room my wife and I were seated in. The dark room would have been atmospheric if it weren't for the bright red fire alarm and the three windows, two of which looked out to the bar and restaurant. The servers were all kind and knowledgeable, but there seemed to be a lack of coordination between them and a lack of practice on their delivery. An excellent food experience, though understand the rest of the dining experience may not reflect the pricetag.

KJ: Enjoyed omakase matsu with my daughter for our shared birthday celebration. After experiencing omakase in Japan, I have been craving that experience here. Just so happened the chef at Kado no Mise was an apprentice chef to the chef we ate with in Kyoto. Small world! Chef Furukawa made our meal at Kado no Mise memorable and served us the most delicious meal at the counter. It’s very expensive, but it’s more than just a meal. It’s a memorable, delicious experience, unlike any other place in the cities.

moto-i: what do users think?

Yesenia Moran: Recommended dishes Rangoons

Gregory Miller: Best JFC in town

Danielle M: Dim lighting, comfortable seating with many options, and attentive service. They offer a decent spread of cocktail/mocktail style beverages - they were a wee bit on the pricey side for quality, so stuck to one. What makes this place shine is their BUNS. Fluffy, flavorful, I dang near shed a tear. Someone is putting love into them I just know it!My drunken noodles were also flavorful, veggie packed, but a bit on the oily side. I will still be going back.Amazing waitstaff. So personable, welcoming and interesting. Elinor is a star.Lot of options for vegetarian and vegans as well.Vegetarian options: Tofu and mock duck are available proteins. Ask for no fish sauce and you’re golden!

Noah Reed: After having some great authentic ramen in the cities, I wanted to try a more modern take on the classic dish. Decided to give moto-i a shot, and they did not disappoint!First off, it has to be said - the atmosphere is incredible. The place is clean, cool, and stylistic. It’s dimly lit, and they aren’t afraid to show off their love of Sumo. This love isn’t superficial - they often have matches on several of the many TVs around the space, and they even run a fantasy Sumo league. This is just a killer place to hang out, even without their food. The food is where they really shine though. I’m from Kansas, and we love our BBQ - when I say this is the best pork I’ve had in the Twin Cities, I’m not joking. The ramen as a whole is great, though definitely more modern than authentic in style. The same pork from the ramen is used in their outstanding pork buns, which is great. The menu is more focused than a typical ramen restaurant, but everything is delicious.Overall I would definitely recommend moto-i for some killer pork, modern ramen, and a cool place to hang out.

Niki Bee: Quick pop in while visiting the city for the day! Nice ambiance! Fast service & good food! Hipster Asian style eatery with some traditional and non traditional dishes! Would visit againParking: Metered street parking

David Ly: Never had a bad experience here. I love the atmosphere and the food, and the staff have always been friendlyVegetarian options: A good portion of the menu can be made vegan or vegetarian, but be sure to ask for it from your server.

Miranda Montes: . We sat and the bar. The bartender was super knowledgeable about both. They also gave us lots of info about special events they run since we are new to the area and are planning on coming back. We got the house made pickles and fries as a starter, vegan and classic ramen for dinner. Everything was so good and fresh! The vegan ramen was the best veg ramen I have ever had, super rich and flavorful. Love this spot!Vegetarian options: The vegan ramen was some of the best I have ever had! They have tons of vegetarian options and several vegan ones, plus delicious drinks. If you are veg put this place on your list!

Jose Quintana. .: and substituted the club soda for Sprite. It was delicious. I tasted Sake for the first time, and it was surprisingly good. A cross between a semi sweet white wine and peach schnapps but with no peach, it'll make sense when you try it. It was the first one on top of their sake menu. I also had their local cola, which reminded me of RC cola. I enjoyed it. For apps, we ordered the Rangoons, which, although they have no Crab, were deliciously filled and the pork belly pieces, which were juicy and crispy. We also had the pork belly and crispy chicken steamed buns. Each sauce complements the protein very well. Again, they were delicious. All 4 of us had the classic ramen. It was quite tasty and served very hot. We really enjoyed this place, and although we will return 10/10 for the great food, the experience wouldn't have been the same if it weren't for our server Tyler! From greeting and welcoming us to explaining the menu and giving us some suggestions, to refilling my drink multiple times just before it ended Tyler is the type of server and person that genuinely likes what he does, and does it very ,very well, that, definitely tied the whole experience while elevating it. We are looking forward to our next visit.

Kaiseki Furukawa: what do users think?

Chris Wardwell: I was fortunate enough to experience the Tuesday night 10 course kaiseki seasonal tasting menu. Each course was beautifully presented and expressed authentic Japanese flavors and textures that reflected the spring season. The staff were attentive and accommodating. For example, noticing that my wife was left handed the staff set up her table setting to reflect that. That has happened to her only one other time. A small thing for sure, but reflective of the care and attention to detail that was put into everything. Kaiseki Furukawa provides an elegant dining experience from the dinnerware to interior design. I’m already looking forward to my next visit.

Alan Bates: It is hard to put into words the amazing experience that we had here at Kaiseki Furukawa in Minneapolis. This was the single best meal we have ever had in our lives. It was an honor to dine with Shigeyuki Furukawa and his team. Our minds were blown by the quality of ingredients and the thought and care that went into the design of each item on the 10+ course menu. We also had a sake pairing that added another element throughout. This restaurant is truly a world class gem and we are lucky to have it here here in Twin Cities.

Blake Schmidt: and specially printed menus. We have been doing Kado downstairs, but came upstairs for this. Very, very good.5th Edit: Another Valentine’s Day!

Alisha: My first kaiseki I’ve ever done and I was blown away. The quality of the service and ingredients are top notch. Very worth it.

Blake Nhul: .I've been to some nice places around here but this was truly a different experience that I don't think I could get anywhere around here. Chef Furukawa, thank you for the meal and I look forward to taking my Grandma here one day 🙂.

Robert Wohlfeil: Such an amazing experience, both with the chefs and service, as well as with our fellow diners. I couldn't have asked for a more intimate yet communal dining adventure.

Tari Jung: Been to kaiseki multiple times and it's always been an utmost pleasure. It's a wholesome experience you will find nowhere else.

Quyen Tang: A delicious experience with amazing drink pairings.Dine in: Yes …

Pak Hoi Tung: Great experience, great service, great chef, great meal.Dine in: Yes Outdoor seating: No Takeout: No Delivery: No Curbside pickup: No …

Mayna Xiong: . Food was delicious and well plated. I didn't think I was going to be full from a tasting menu but by the end of it, I was surprisingly full and satisfied. The menu changes monthly as the chef uses ingredients that is in season. Expensive but well worth it. Will definitely be returning.

Jeffrey Wright: A very nice representation of what a Kaiseki dinner should look like. Not all dishes exceeded great heights - but overall Furukawa san and his team are bringing proper Japanese food to Minneapolis. The February meal is very very nice and highly recommended. They are working on some very interesting no-alcohol pairings which really hit the mark. Sounds like a work in progress but so for some pretty great offerings.I am eager to see how the team can further push themselves in 2021 and beyond. I will return again soon.Highly recommended.

Ann McGuire: This is a wonderful experience! The food, the service, the owner - all very special.

Laurel Marsh: After falling in love with kaiseki cuisine on my trips to Japan, I was overjoyed when I learned of a restaurant opening up in Minneapolis. The food is elegantly presented and the seasonal ingredients are delicious. I am fondly remembering the Hassun course for the traditional Osechi New Years foods eaten in Japan for good luck in the upcoming year. Many people might be confused by this food and the way it is presented but the way the Japanese prepare and present food is very different from Americans. Yes, it is pricey compared to most other restaurants but that is entirely due to the fact that 80% of this menu had to be imported from Japan. Authentic Japanese food is so hard to find in the Midwest and this rare gem is so appreciated. I encourage everyone to give it a try if they can and to keep an open mind. You may not love everything but I promise you will find something that will surprise and delight you!ありがとうございました、ふるかわ様。おいしいかった。ごちそうさまでした。

Vicki Tam-Anderson: Our evening at Kaiser Furukawa was perfect. Everyone on staff -- incredible, friendly, and knowledgable. The food -- thoughtful, surprising, and delicious. So much attention was given to the little details. I highly recommend having dinner here!

123 Sushi: what do users think?

Matthew Bender: , but overall I honestly can't complain. The price was about as low as it gets and the service was fairly quick. The entire bowl along with a separate container of broth was nicely packaged up for transport. Overall I'm giving this place a high score simply because they are one of the only ramen lunch options accessible by skyway and the price was super low. $12 for a bowl of near legit ramen is impressive. Go for it!

Luciano G.: Great spot for lunch during the work day. This is a spot that I regular because the custom sushi rice bowl is well priced and a very reasonable portion of food is given. There’s another sushi place nearby that does a sushi rice bowl too and it’s less toppings, less rice, and less fish for more money. The reasonable prices, tasty food, and good portions will keep me coming back. The two almost always there running the place are very kind and efficient. Even if there is a big line, you won’t be in it too long, dont let the line scare you. Is good to get there before 12 though if you can.

Nina Carrell: Been a loyal customer for years. I'm happy they extended their hours, a lot more accessible since they now close at 6pm! The rolls are big, I get full off of 8 rolls, but my personal reason for always going back is their delicious sauces. Wish they sold the screaming thai sauce so I can put it on everything!! Also wish they still had their other locations like on the University campus. A lot easier to get to!

Chase Vineland: I have been here a few times over the years. It’s a cute place for kids. Not a full fledged sushi place… sort like the McDonald’s of sushi fast food but classier.Overall menu is a bit expensive and I think you pay extra for the cute boxes and hip-ness. But again it’s fun for kids and young adults. When I take my kids to visit work is the only time I have gone.I like the Toshi roll and chicken katsu ramen.Couple things I wished: larger rolls, drop prices 15%, and give more soy sauce and wasabi.Parking: This is in the IDS building on the second floor. Really catered for people who work downtown. If you park, street parking is tough in this area of downtown.

Adam Reznik: Cute sushi joint offers up excellent dishes right in front of you, made fresh.Chicken miso ramen was fantastic.Short walk from the Marriott hotel. You have to weave your way across several skyway bridges, but it is convenient.

Tommy Xia (夏晨阳Tommyxcy): Thank god there’s still an affordable poki/sushi bowl place in the world. Yes the proteins for raw fish are limited but what can you say for a large and delicious $9 bowl. Went two times during the visit given that all other restaurants charged ridiculous service fees lol

Robert Bischel: I finally got around to coming in here. I got the sushi roll with white rice, alavacado, cucumber, cream cheese and crab and it was delicious. The staff was friendly and you get a pretty big roll for your money.
