Snapology of Minneapolis: what do users think?

Adrianna Grant: Great experiences every time we come here for birthdays, events and camps. The owner and staff are responsive and engaged.

Aneela Kumar: We’ve done the Sunday coffee days, summer camps and a birthday party. True fans and the owner Aaron is really kind and helpful!

K M: My kiddo's been to two camps here now and he adores it. Learning and having a ton of fun! Communication and organization from employees has been top notch. I wanna go to Lego camp!! 😁

Matt Hodes: Staff is amazing and kids had a ton of fun at the birthday. Thanks so much for running with a Ducktales theme!

Nupur Agarwal: Love this space. It's suitable for kids of all ages. Great space for kids to hangout as parents sip coffee from the nextdoor cafe. The workshops are also worth the money.

Lindsey Konchar: !

Heather Willems: My husband gave me a big hug and said I was "Mom of the Year." After nearly 2 years of postponed playdates and zoom birthday parties, we decided to throw our 5-year-old a party with 20 of her closest friends and parents we never met.  Aaron at Snapology made this the lowest stress party I have ever thrown. He customized the theme to our daughter's wishes "A Lego-Prince-Dance-Party." It happened. The 5-7-year-olds focused intently on making a 2D album cover, and a 3D stag for their favorite band. Aaron held a "Freeze - Dance" to our daughter's favorite song. Cupcakes were eaten and we went home happy. I can't decide what the greatest benefit was; having a happy 5-year-old, the bandwidth to meet new parents, or not having to clean up! All are aces in my book. Thanks, Aaron and Izzy!

Brenna Rentmeester: Our first time going to Snapology was for our daughter's birthday party. Aaron and McKenna were ready for our group and very helpful. They were fantastic at time management so we could eat dinner, build robotic Lego frogs, play and celebrate. Our older daughter wants to return for her birthday and we're already looking at summer camps. Great place and staff.

Brant and Brandy Gilbert: What a GREAT time! All communication with the owner Aaron and his staff from making the reservation online to the emails back and forth of them answering all of my questions and everything else in between was great! When we got there, the place was so bright, inviting and clean. Loved the multiple ways they engage the kids in creative play and we look so forward to coming back again soon! Thank you all, what a great time!

Mnamcl M: We had a fantastic time at my sons 9th Minecraft theme birthday at Snapology. The instructor kept the kids engaged the entire time. She made it fun and had a lot of knowledge about both Lego and Minecraft. His friends are still talking about how much fun they had...even those who don't know much about minecraft. The staff was so friendly and the facility was spacious and clean. We had 16 kids and a handful of adults and still had plenty of room to enjoy the party. We will be back next year for his younger siblings birthday. Thank you Snapology for making my sons birthday memorable and hassle free.

D Rosemberg: Friendly, clean, fun toys.

Rachel Dominguez: This place is awesome, my kid amazed me, they are doing something right here because I could never get her to follow Lego directions in her life until I dropped her off here. Cheap prices, fun activities, really great place to drop your kid. We'll be back, she wants to do her birthday party here. I think that's something that I'd actually get excited for. Bring your kid here.

joy peters: Friendly staff. Easy, fun birthday parties. My son's friends all loved his birthday party, and all we had to do was show up. The membership is a great price.

Joseph McGie: I attended a birthday party here with my 5 year old and he was pretty amazed and all of the different activities kept him busy. They have 2 party rooms and upper and a lower, plus a main area for free play with various activities and types of building toys. The party was great, and the host was very good at running it and working with the kids, giving them I structions, etc. My child and I worked together building a car that you can program. All and all it was worth it, I would plan my child's birthday there.

Tigger Lunney: Amazing place. Kids love the opportunity to learn and create and connect their play to STEM related stuff in camps.

Russ Higgins: We hosted our sons bday party at snapology. The staff was super with all the kids. They had a great process to entertain and engage everyone. Good energy. Great place. Coming back for the robotics class

The Blake School: what do users think?

Rebecca Wellik: Wonderful high school!

Karen Lopez Lopez: It is the same place where they film Soy Luna, nothing more than Disney adds details to make it look different because if you look, it is the same shape as the one in the series.

Greg Lundgren: Above and beyond, this is the best school in the nation. As a former student, I can say, without hesitation, that my time at The Blake School was the most influential and impactful experience of my life. The Blake School offers an unparalleled curriculum, remarkably progressive environment and enthusiasm for success. The community is composed of brilliant minds who openly and freely share their time, knowledge and valuable life experience. The Blake School's emphasis on open-mindedness, integrity, tolerance and strong sense of community, is a testament to the fantastic alumni that came before us. Any Blake alumni will tell you that the school allowed us to discover forever-friends as well as an inevitably bright future. My fellow students will always be my family. My former teachers will always be my confidants and inspiration. The school itself will always be my home. I can only hope my children will be able to share in the impeccable education I was extremely fortunate to receive.

William Maddrey: Great school. Go Bears!

Audrey Smith: Oh Yeah BLAKE BETTER. Blake RULES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Groves Learning Organization: what do users think?

Bergen Hill: great school

Monica Gould: Our experience at Groves has been truly transformational. We have seen significant growth in our son, not only with his reading, writing, and math - and really all academics, but also in his confidence and social/emotional development. This school is a special place and we have found it to be incredibly supportive of our family and our son. If you have a child with dyslexia or learning differences, I highly recommend visiting Groves and seeing for yourself how they support students and families.

Beth Londer: My fourth grader is finally where they want/need to be the BEST version of themselves!!!

James Seitz: Truly an awesome place for parents to have resources for their children with dyslexia

lindsey richardson: - you get specialized teachers, and small classrooms- your children get a chance at education that they seemed to fail everywhere else at.

Pxnda Rxtsy: It is a cool school

Lisa Bilcik: Groves Academy is a special place. For children that fit one or many of the profiles for which Groves is equipped to serve, it is not a cliche to say that the educational experience is life changing for both students and their families. It is real and is true for our family. I noted a negative comment from a parent whose child did fit the profile and he was disappointed when his child was not accepted to Groves after a summer school experience. I can understand the frustration when you are seeking a school that fits your child and an option you thought may work does not. I wish that parent the best of luck in finding the right fit. I know it's hard and emotional. From a different perspective, for us, one of the positives about Groves is that it is not a place that tries to serve all children who are challenged by traditional instruction or otherwise struggle. Rather, its programs are focused on particular needs, and their methods work. On the upside, Groves' recent investment in its outreach program, led by former head of school, John Alexander, will help other schools find ways to provide more services to their students to help more kids find their best path to a good and meaningful education.

Kathy Eischens: Groves is a fabulous school with teachers and staff who truly care and will do what it takes to help kids with learning differences succeed. We will be forever grateful for the impact Groves has had on our childrens' lives.

Joe K: Very welcoming school, amazing staff. School i would recommend into looking at.

MacPhail Center For Music: what do users think?

Christine Swenning: Attending music matters luncheon with family

Mischa Ortega May: I have had piano here for 9 years and the atmosphere and teachers are all super nice.

Arianna Xu: Ive been going here for 8+ years it has been pretty good

Alyssa Joye: My experience with MacPhail was nothing but amazing. My voice teacher, Thomas Speckhard was the best. I had to pause my voice lessons because of school, but I hope to return again once my schedule is more manageable. I learned so much about voice and singing from teacher Tom, and I appreciate his approach for an aspiring-frustrated singer like myself. Lol. He is the best! Thank you, MacPhail.

Debbie Willoughby: Today my granddaughter won a panio. A true blessing for us. We met the people who donated the piano such a blessing. My granddaughter was able to play for them.A bless day.A beautiful school. Thank you to the staff.

Great River School: what do users think?

Elora La Valle: Awesome work environment and a school full of educators who care about building holistic trust with students.

Tia Lauve: Great local school working hard to incorporate itself into the community and welcome kids from all over!

Isaura Lira Greene: Originally opened as one of the first Montessori middle-school and a high schools in the country, GRS honors many of the values of Maria Montessori who believed in hands-on-learning and that every student has their own learning needs and learning styles not considered in more traditional schooling.Though the Special Education program was underfunded as well as the lack thereof programs for mental wellness; these are also issues on the national scale. During the first year of opening, it’s true there were some disappointing stories in regard to some explicit racist acts and ever since the school has been trying to amend and atone, and with great success, I might add. Though the process has slow and challenging, many of the students are passionate about social justice issues. But by the time I was accepted to the school as an 8th grader, the past could have been forgotten. Thanks to the transformation, I met a community of 7th and 8th graders I felt comfortable with. The first day of school, as soon as I stepped down a hallway, a hushed sense of sheer peace came down on me. Something I had never felt before anywhere outside a library or a bookstore. I was never made to feel like the new-kid, or a loner, and I never got lost in the halls or stuck at my locker trying to recall the password. It was a relief. The students were friendly and trusting and shone a diverse mix of curious, and questioning minds way beyond the average IQ score with unique abilities and talents. I did feel undermined sometimes when I met students who prioritized grades and rigorous homework doing over play, though many of the assigments were quite fun.I was so used to thinking that homework wasn’t fun and was always stressful and the stress and anxiety I had accumulated gave me a warped vision that what is difficult is always complex, while it can also be viewed as simple. I thought when things felt simple or the intsructions laid out in a relaxed way meant that they were stupid. How wrong I was!Great River encouraged me to follow my passions no matter what. I received honors for the International Baccalaureate program in Highschool which helped me into college.I loved the Key-Experience trips where our whole class would go on week-long trips at the beginning and ending of each semester. I biked 100 miles, canoed perhaps 50 miles along the St. Croix River, worked on a sustainable farm in Wisconsin, traveled to Michigan, acted in a play, sang in a Choir, went on an Archeological Dig, went Geo-caching, even learned Stop-Motion Animation. I learned how to be independent and flexible, learned the strength to delve deep into any area for a project after every unit. It’s important for parents to know where I am coming from in order to get an accurate picture of what my experience was at Great River. I am an idealist, and at the time, a strict optimist. I also have a tendency to be quite stubborn or tenacious. I also have a loosely defined disability so self-directed learning was a great fit for me for those reasons. I learned to let go of my stubbornness which had put me academically behind. I learned that teachers are human, and my peers are human as well. I learned from my friends, and my teachers learned somethings from me. I didn’t see my teachers as people who sat upon pedastools high above our ranks. I called them by their first names. ”Change is the only constant”, as said by Heraclictus of Ephesus, a quote which I as of yet have no arguments for, was what was embedded inside my brain as I threw my cap into the air. Many of the teachers who changed my life; Molly Keenan, Tami Limberg, Kate, Emily, Enrique, Angela, Christina Beck, Russ, and Aaron, no longer teach at Great River which also changed the dynamics of the community I was part of and am still a part of now as an alumni. And, yes, GRS is changeable but it also highly adaptable to the current times. Though I wish there could have been more transparency and emotional training to my adolescent mind, it was still an unforgettable experience that will last a lifetime.

Connor Norton: 4 years spent well

Azzy Aylori: Its gr8 m8 no deb8 would r8 8/8 don't h8 m80

Good Shepherd Catholic School: what do users think?

thuy aloi: We have 2 children going to school here and have been very impressed with the faculty and staff at Good Shepherd. When my children transferred to the school, all their nervousness was alleviated on the first day. They came home happy and excited to begin their schooling here. Their teachers went out of their way to make sure they felt welcomed and included, and my daughter kept repeating, "Everyone is so NICE here, mama!" 3 years later, we are just as impressed with the level of education and ethics instilled in the students as well as with the staff's genuine care and concern for the kids. We were a bit skeptical when others raved about how our kids would love it here but after 3 years at Good Shepherd, we can confirm without reservation that this is truly a special place.

Melissa Sack: My kids love this school, my husband and I love this school. The staff is the best, you can tell they truly love these kids.

Geoffrey Reglos: with the older students

Angie Saffert: The choice to enroll our kids at Good Shepherd has proven to be one of the best decisions we have made as parents! We have a graduate and a current 4th grader, and they are polar opposite kids! Good Shepherd identified and promoted their strengths and helped each excel. The teachers and staff are second to none and they feel like family. There is a great sense of community at Good Shepherd. We have met some of our closest friends through this wonderful Good Shepherd community!Good Shepherd has an excellent STEM program as well as art program of Abrakadoodle and Art Adventure. Not only does Good Shepherd have a rigorous educational program, but there are numerous extracurricular activities for the students to participate. Some of the activities include: basketball, volleyball, skiing, run club, soccer, Lego robotics, chess club, boy scouts, and girl scouts. Good Shepherd promotes becoming well-rounded students. The kids engage in numerous volunteer and service projects.Good Shepherd is a fantastic school and we highly recommend it for anyone looking at elementary schools!

cindy sarvie: Good Shepherd is an amazing school!!I grew up going to a private school, my husband went to public schools. We toured 2 public schools before we looked at Good Shepherd, both appeared to be really good. We are a one income family and were worried about the cost associated with sending our children to a private school. Once we toured Good Shepherd, we just knew that is where we belonged. We will have our third child entering Good Shepherd next year and have never once questioned or second guessed our decision to join this school!Good Shepherd is a very strong, caring, family community. A place where I know without a doubt that my kids are in wonderful hands. We couldn't be any happier with the level of education our children are receiving, the faith formation and the positive and supportive social atmosphere!

Sara Ballinger: but we wanted to make sure she was best prepared socially and academically for junior high. We couldn’t be happier with our decision. After her first week, she came home and told us, “I get why you wanted to send me to Good Shepherd.” She was welcomed warmly and immediately treated as one of the family. The administration and staff are second to none. They foster involvement, respect and FANTASTIC study habits. The laptop program is a unique differentiator, and learning experiences like Invention Convention and JA Biztown are also top-notch. Our only regret? Not switching her sooner. We will miss it!

Lexy Wikenheiser: to partner on projects or set a good example. The service club for the kids in 6th grade has been a wonderful program which allows them both to give back to the school and demonstrate responsibility

Conrad Ehr: . Those who have been around a long time have the wisdom and understanding of what is best for younger kids. The newer teachers bring a strong understanding of what is new and successful in the world of primary education. This mix allows students to begin to learn life lessons. The curriculum is very cutting edge, with older kids having a laptop assigned at the beginning of the year, thus preparing them for the challenges of Junior High and leading them into High School. Finally, I would say that when you are part of Good Shepherd School, you are part of an extended family that will find a way to help you stay there. The cost is extremely reasonable when you take into account that the children are loved and taught according to their individual needs, as well as being part of a larger society. They are taught to respect their elders, and yet are allowed to show the strength of their own character. If you are on the fence, please try it for one year. You won't regret it.

Zachary Kretchmer: , to all the teachers and support staff, we could not have picked a better school for our children. Patience, structure, and inspiration are intertwined in an educational curriculum second to none. Religious instruction is an important part of the curriculum, but not in an overbearing way. There is a tremendous sense of community among the children and the parents - we really are a big family - and are honored to serve as a resource for one another. I could not offer a higher recommendation for an elementary school.

Angie Knodel: Our first year at Good Shepherd was in 2010 and we now have all 4 children attending Good Shepherd. We couldn't be happier with our experience and the education that our kids are receiving. I think my favorite part of Good Shepherd is the school community. My husband and I both grew up in small towns and we were looking for a community atmosphere and Good Shepherd is exactly that. We've had such wonderful experiences with other parents, the teachers and always feel welcomed. Good Shepherd is such a gem in the Twin Cities!

Bryan Clark: We could not imagine a better school for our daughter - and she agrees! The warm, personalized welcome and the feeling you are among friends and family is inescapable each time you walk into the building. The classrooms are integrated with the latest educational technologies that are seamlessly integrated into the curriculum. From the multiple family activities that are available throughout the year to the fantastic extracurricular opportunities - sports, scouting, band, chess club and summer care programs - the school is filled with teachers that care about the children. With each passing year, we remain pleased with our choice and the knowledge that our daughter is getting a wonderful education.

Emily Johnson Piper: Good Shepherd is an outstanding school. Our three oldest children attend Good Shepherd and we have been so impressed with the academics, activities, and the school community. In addition to the wonderful teachers and the amazing principal, Mr. Z., their after-school and summer care leaders are outstanding as well. From homework room and weekly chess club to field trips every day during the summer, Good Shepherd really supports our two-working-parent family. We are very happy we chose Good Shepherd for our family!

Kari Staples: Good Shepherd is near and dear to our family's hearts! Good Shepherd has been a part of my life since the early '80s when I started attending there. Now 30+ years later, I have 2 graduates of Good Shepherd as well as a student still enrolled. We love the teachers and staff. Our children have received a top notch education and were readily prepared for junior and senior high! We love the caring, family atmosphere that is felt every time we walk in the building. Highly recommended for anyone looking for Catholic Education in Golden Valley and the surrounding areas.

Marissa Weller: I went there like 5 or 6 years ago

Sylvan Learning of Saint Paul: what do users think?

Yvonne Ng: The folks at Sylvan of St Paul are the best. They helped us when we needed supplemental instructions and have consistently provided fantastic expertise and engaging, caring tutors. They are great partners in helping our son get the most out of his education!

modest sxmirx: This place is amazing!

Samira: Great!

Fosiyo Ahmed: Sylvan is the best place that helps my Family! We have been going there for three months and I see big changes for both of my kid’s! Thank you for your hardworking and supporting us keep it up

Samantha Kronbach: We are still new to Sylvan, but so far it has been an immense help for our daughter. Sylvan has helped her become more confident in her reading and writing, and has helped her create a positive mindset in regards to learning. She’s talks about all the tokens she earns and how she is doing more work than she needs too.

David Ogren: yes.!

Raheemah Mahmoud: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,Value

talia sachs: I have been working with Matt for the past few weeks on ACT math and science prep and it has been an absolutely great experience. I love how my personal learning goals and hurdles have been targeted at each one on one session

Annie D: My son was in first grade at an immersion school, where they don’t start teaching English reading and writing until 2nd grade. Even though I know he will get plenty of instruction next year, I really wanted to make sure he was up to grade level with his reading. Sylvan Highland has been wonderful, and he’s progressing faster than I even thought possible. The tutors are all very patient, and great at getting him engaged, even when he’s frustrated or tired. But the more he attends Sylvan, the more comfortable he is with reading and the more motivated he is to learn. He’s actually excited to go to “reading lessons” now! I’m very happy with his progress, and feel much better knowing he will be on par or ahead of his class in reading going forward.

Heidi Landon: Teachers are knowledgeable of current course work, they provide students with one on one teaching, they communicate directly with the student's teachers, and help track due dates on assignments. They are flexible in scheduling and Sarah the director is absolutely fabulous. She will treat your student like her own, and this attitude spreads to all the staff. 100% recommend.

Taneesha Barnes: The director Sarah is very helpful and listens to the needs of each of my kids. She helped me to figure out what special help my son needs at school. Best tutoring in town !!!

ibrahim Sugule: I feel sylvan is a second home and is really helpful for my children. Sylvan Saint Paul makes my life easy as they are able to became independent and take advantage of learning skills they studied at sylvan

Erica Lim: I'm very happy with the decision to send my child to Sylvan of St Paul. I appreciate the monthly conferences to check in and get updates about my child's progress. Sarah the director is warm, accommodating and truly invested in academic success of all students.

Nicole Gavin: We have been going to Sylvan with our daughter for almost 2 years now. Sarah has been the best director at that location. She makes sure that my daughter gets the best out of every session. Always asking what they can do that day. If there is anything they can do on their side. My daughter has been making progress at school with the help she has gotten. She feels more confident in her reading and math! I highly recommend sending your child if they are needing the extra help.
