The International School of Minnesota: what do users think?

Daniel: huh

Heidrun Dame: Excellent school where kids are always encouraged and supported. Teachers are fantastic, they have high expectations and make learning fun. Our son went here from KG to HS graduation. We picked ISM over other, more famous private schools, liked their approach to teaching and it offered by far the best foreign language program and the best after school program. Very happy with our experience.

Apurva Balaji: The school is amazing! The teachers are really nice and helpful, and it’s really easy to set up times to meet with them one on one. Before school and after school there are so many activities, and you can always have fun with friends! I have attended since preschool and I’ve always had a great time!

Jianzhong Qian: ISM is a very nice school for foreign students.

Sam Elgore: Both our kids went to and graduated from ISM. One of the best decisions I have ever made. I couldn't recommend the school high enough. Kids grow in an integrated, diverse and safe environment that fosters learning and exploring.

Jason Cole: Excellent school. Excellent staff.

Kayte Haagenson: Great programs, strong curriculum, supportive staff. Quality education all around!

Zachary Forester: Excellent place of education.

Mary Sears: My Daughter has been a student here for the last 10 years and is receiving an excellent education.

Emmanuella Urumedji: The school is absolutely amazing

Minnehaha Academy - High School: what do users think?

Sasha Bordeaux: Incredibly grateful my child goes here!

Ryan Larson: I have enjoyed working at Minnehaha for the past 7 years. The community found here is second to none. We care deeply about one another and all of our students and make sure that everyone has the support that they need. I'm always amazed at all that we have to offer for such a small school. Students here experience a wide variety of options in courses, athletics and fine arts and all of our programs pursue high standards of excellence.

Julia Stewart: A member of the Class of 2006, I still think back on the tremendous influence of Minnehaha on my life. Though MA is an academically rigorous college prep school, teachers see students beyond their academic ability. They are equally devoted to helping students grow as whole people as they model critical thinking, compassion and humility. 15 years after graduating, many of my former teachers are still working at Minnehaha. In a field with so much burnout, it's worth noting that teachers at MA stay for the long haul. This speaks to their passion, their devotion to students and to the MA community at-large. When I went to college, I was able to test out of a handful or required college courses due to the various AP options available to me at MA. I've always been thankful for that. Academics aside, the best part about Minnehaha is that it is a community that helped bring my faith to life. It is a place that fosters a love of asking questions rather than resorting to easy answers.

Joshua Schwartz: Funny.

Julie Johnson: - this is of utmost important to the awesome faculty and staff at this PreK-12 school. Students are supported to grow and mature to their full potential while recognizing their gifts and talents that they can use in service to God and to others. We would not hesitate to recommend others to attend Minnehaha Academy and be part of the beautiful community and family feel this school provides.

Karen Lutgen: Our family is grateful to be part of the MA community. Not only do I have a dream job on faculty, but our child is challenged and nurtured daily at the lower school. It's a wonderful place for all of us to grow as whole people and experience the love of God daily.

Julie Harnack: Minnehaha is a great school. I currently have two kids in the High School and I would highly recommend this school! It is a Christ centered environment, has great academics and my children feel loved/cared for!

The Blake School: what do users think?

Rebecca Wellik: Wonderful high school!

Karen Lopez Lopez: It is the same place where they film Soy Luna, nothing more than Disney adds details to make it look different because if you look, it is the same shape as the one in the series.

Greg Lundgren: Above and beyond, this is the best school in the nation. As a former student, I can say, without hesitation, that my time at The Blake School was the most influential and impactful experience of my life. The Blake School offers an unparalleled curriculum, remarkably progressive environment and enthusiasm for success. The community is composed of brilliant minds who openly and freely share their time, knowledge and valuable life experience. The Blake School's emphasis on open-mindedness, integrity, tolerance and strong sense of community, is a testament to the fantastic alumni that came before us. Any Blake alumni will tell you that the school allowed us to discover forever-friends as well as an inevitably bright future. My fellow students will always be my family. My former teachers will always be my confidants and inspiration. The school itself will always be my home. I can only hope my children will be able to share in the impeccable education I was extremely fortunate to receive.

William Maddrey: Great school. Go Bears!

Audrey Smith: Oh Yeah BLAKE BETTER. Blake RULES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Providence Academy: what do users think?

Shawn Pedri: We have friends in Maple Grove and both their daughters attend PA. What an amazing institution, the girls have nothing but great things to share and their experience has been incredible for the past two years.

Kai Yang: My friend goes to this school and they always tell me how amazing it is!

Lauren Brooks: Beautiful grounds

Jennifer Loegering: We had three children attend PA with one just graduating last year. Everyone is held to high standards. Beautiful school with all the amenities. Our children are excelling in college and were completely prepared. Highly recommend!

Mark S: The most wonderful place for our 2nd grade granddaughter to attend. Providence is everything you'd want to raise respectful, kind, courteous, confident and well-educated young boys and girls. Highly recommended, and not only for those of the Catholic faith. I'm told that about 1/3 of the students are Lutheran, Baptist, Methodist, and a lot of other religions.

Susan Strobel: Great school. It's a place our granddaughter is getting an excellent education while she's learning respect for others and love of community.

Andy Ulseth: Great education and wonderful facilities.

Terra Otto: Providence Academy is a school like no other! When we chose to send our daughter there for kindergarten, we knew it was a special place. Now that we are almost at the end of the school year, it is hard to put into words just how special it is! The love, faith, virtues, and knowledge that are poured into the children sets Providence apart. Our daughter has learned so much academically, and even more importantly, she has learned to go to Jesus first and has felt loved and supported by her teachers every day. She genuinely loves going to school, and even in light of distance learning this year, she continues to thrive and smiles every time she "sees" her teacher and classmates in their daily meetings. We couldn't be more proud to be a part of this incredible community. Thank you PA for going above and beyond in every aspect of education!

Sheila Kihne: My four kids have been here since kindergarten. They are now in 5th-9th grade. The teachers are top notch-- most especially in the lower school. The education is second to none. The facilities are beautiful and it's a peaceful place during the school day. There is order and structure, which kids crave, but it's also a place that encourages critical thinking and creativity. Worth every penny.

Amy Crow: The sense of community is like nothing else. It's like having extended family all working together to help raise good kids.

andrew r: they had some godly pancakes today oh my lord there were busting! # i love pancke

max francois: Best School In the World

Spencer Hamilton: Good school

Doh Kaoh: Never been to this school but I just wanted to ask, is this school private and does it have wrestling or weightlifting. I'm considering going here.

Kelsey Anderson: After a long search to find a great school for our 7th grader, we were so pleased to find the perfect learning environment at Mounds Park Academy! From the first visit where we toured this amazing facility, we were impressed by the bright hallways, classrooms, the state-of-the-art equipment and the incredible library! Every space at MPA has been carefully crafted to insure the success of the children from kindergarten through 12th grade. Now that our child is in 9 th grade, we know we made the right choice! The teachers, administration and staff are some of the most dedicated, motivated and qualified professionals in the field of education. The rigorous academic catalog is brimming with exciting core classes and enticing electives, all guaranteed to produce a well- rounded education. Beyond the incredible educational benefits, MPA is a very welcoming and inclusive environment where students are allowed and encouraged to ask tough questions, express independent ideas and thrive in a truly nurturing and safe environment. We are so thoroughly impressed and pleased by all the exceptional aspects of the Mounds Park Academy experience and highly recommend it unequivocally without hesitation! We are grateful beyond measure!

Joshua Hanson: Amazing school, all-star teachers, and leadership. We are fortunate to be a part of this community and value the education and character building that it provides. If you think it would fit you family, I encourage you to check it out.

Nate Johnson: My time at MPA prepared me to be a lifelong learner. I absolutely loved my experience, the friends I made, and the community that I have. I am also incredibly grateful to my parents for making the decision to send me to MPA, and for making the investment in me. I am a better person and a better student because they were so selfless in prioritizing MPA tuition over new cars, vacations or cabins. If you are a parent considering MPA, but hesitant because of the tuition, know that your child, like me, will grow up to be exceptionally grateful that you made the decision to invest in their future with a private school like this one. I can't say enough good things about MPA. It will always be my home.

Salmah Elmasry: MPA students are multipotentialites, encouraged to participate in both arts and sciences and have a diverse set of interests. MPA teachers deeply care about their students and are dedicated to fostering conscientious, global citizens who will positively impact their communities.

Jim Kreilich: Had the pleasure of having lunch time with our wonderful kindergarten granddaughter at MPA cafeteria on Friday. A great experience was had. Impressed by lunch selections provided & the impressive facilities, but more impressed by the staff and students!

St. Croix Lutheran Academy: what do users think?

Mary Ann Klingenschmitt: We've had our children at St Croix from 2010- 2018! So thankful for the Christ- centered education, great teachers who care, and safe environment for them! It's my alma mater as well! It was great back then, and it's a wonderful school todayl! Praising the Lord for for St Croix!

travmantoo: We have sent 2 students here and we LOVE the results. The staff is talented and truly cares. The student body is small enough that everyone gets familiar with each other, and develops bonds and respect for their fellow students, but large enough to have room for many extra-curricular activities, encouraging well-rounded experiences for students desiring to grow in that way. Best of all; Jesus Christ is freely spoken about by staff and students. By His example, students are encouraged to be better people and to share the love of God with everyone else. What could be better?

Christy Geiger: High quality private high school education. Our girls have a few years until they are in HS, but they already attend the football games, plays and what not and are excited to attend SC one day!

New Life Academy: what do users think?

Greg Weber: We love NLA. Christian education teaching time-tested values in a loving and caring environment. You'll get the opposite at the local public schools. I wouldn't trade my 2 boy's education for anything.

Mendie Skarp: We love NLA! Amazing teachers, challenging curriculum and options like the awesome drama program. We moved to the area just to be closer to this school.

nellie kovdiy: my friend attends this school and it’s awful. she’s weird now. woohoo.

Michael Wang: The school was full of entrepreneurship and innovation when I was there. Two wonderful years spent. The high school teachers are vrey nice and skilled.

Venusaur Games: This school was very welcoming to me when I came here in third grade. I have had a couple of negative encounters in my experience here. I highly recommend coming to this school, because the teachers and staff are great! I appreciate the help this school has given me to get me ready for my future.

chaz Tichy: New Life put on some of the best plays I have seen!

Kristin Kuhne: Both my girls transitioned from homeschool to High School at NLA. We LOVED this school!

Teresa Rash: Not only does New Life Academy have a history of dedication to Christian education, they offer state of the art classrooms and a STEAM initiative to keep student education relevant for the world in which we live. New Life Academy offers a caring, supportive environment for students as evidenced by the many opportunities provided to students where they can explore their God-given gifts and talents.

Elizabeth DiMartino: New Life Academy prepares students for a life of servant leadership. They offer a rigorous academic experience with a strong focus on STEAM and project based learning. Most importantly, New Life Academy offers a nurturing, Christ-centered environment where students thrive.

Debbie Speik: Incredible school! New Life Academy has strong academics, including a STEAM program that is second to none. There are tons of opportunities for kids to engage -- the arts, athletics, student life, service and outreach. The school is committed to helping students discover and fulfill God’s unique purpose for their lives. Faculty and staff are amazing. They don’t just “teach” about living an authentic Christian life, they MODEL how to do it. Highest recommendation!

Teresa Hendren: New Life is amazing place for kids to learn how to put their faith in action. Not only will they have the opportunity to learn in a competitive academic program, they will have the opportunity to be involved in many different activities from athletics to Fine Arts to interest clubs - every student can find a place to explore their talents at New Life.

Sandy Johnson: New Life Academy is exactly the kind of school that I want to send my kids to. My husband and I want our kids to receive an excellent education and have lots of extracurricular opportunities, but we want our kids to learn with an emphasis on Christian worldview. In looking at various Christian schools, New Life seems to be one of the best in the area.

Maranatha Christian Academy: what do users think?

J P: I was an intern there for school counseling and everyone was amazing!!

Dave Clutter: .As a parent I couldn’t be happier, and so grateful, that my son & I are part of the Maranatha Christian Academy MN family.

Blanca Schellsmidt: We couldn’t be more thankful for Maranatha Christian Academy. When the pandemic started the school adapted on line classes immediately, but the best part was that our kids schedule didn’t change, the teachers expected the kids to be present and participating during their class. This weeks the school opened the doors and our family is going back into our regular routines. Some families decided to keep their kids at home and the school was able to provide them with that option. When we were looking at schools, it was important to us that the school we picked promoted biblical values, great academics and accountability from the kids to the teachers. Other important factors were newest technology and some sort of cultural diversity, we were able to check all those boxes here at MCA. We love everyone in the building, from the teachers, head of school to the cleaning crew, everyone is committed to create a positive environment for the students.Highly recommend the school.

Rachael Meissner: Maranatha is an amazing place to have my 2 kids. We transferred to MCA 3 years ago and it was the best decision we have made with our kids’ schooling. The comparison from the private school we came from to MCA was night and day! The administration and teachers are amazing and always go the extra mile for the students. We highly recommend this school for MANY reasons!

Brenda Rhodes: Maranatha provides its students an exceptionally high quality education in a supportive environment that nourishes spirt, soul and body.

mnmike7: Love the school, the amazing staff and the vision that the school leadership has for the students. The school is not following the "old school" model and is shifting its teaching to what fits today's crazy, ever changing world! I wish I could give it 10 stars!

Good Shepherd Catholic School: what do users think?

thuy aloi: We have 2 children going to school here and have been very impressed with the faculty and staff at Good Shepherd. When my children transferred to the school, all their nervousness was alleviated on the first day. They came home happy and excited to begin their schooling here. Their teachers went out of their way to make sure they felt welcomed and included, and my daughter kept repeating, "Everyone is so NICE here, mama!" 3 years later, we are just as impressed with the level of education and ethics instilled in the students as well as with the staff's genuine care and concern for the kids. We were a bit skeptical when others raved about how our kids would love it here but after 3 years at Good Shepherd, we can confirm without reservation that this is truly a special place.

Melissa Sack: My kids love this school, my husband and I love this school. The staff is the best, you can tell they truly love these kids.

Geoffrey Reglos: with the older students

Angie Saffert: The choice to enroll our kids at Good Shepherd has proven to be one of the best decisions we have made as parents! We have a graduate and a current 4th grader, and they are polar opposite kids! Good Shepherd identified and promoted their strengths and helped each excel. The teachers and staff are second to none and they feel like family. There is a great sense of community at Good Shepherd. We have met some of our closest friends through this wonderful Good Shepherd community!Good Shepherd has an excellent STEM program as well as art program of Abrakadoodle and Art Adventure. Not only does Good Shepherd have a rigorous educational program, but there are numerous extracurricular activities for the students to participate. Some of the activities include: basketball, volleyball, skiing, run club, soccer, Lego robotics, chess club, boy scouts, and girl scouts. Good Shepherd promotes becoming well-rounded students. The kids engage in numerous volunteer and service projects.Good Shepherd is a fantastic school and we highly recommend it for anyone looking at elementary schools!

cindy sarvie: Good Shepherd is an amazing school!!I grew up going to a private school, my husband went to public schools. We toured 2 public schools before we looked at Good Shepherd, both appeared to be really good. We are a one income family and were worried about the cost associated with sending our children to a private school. Once we toured Good Shepherd, we just knew that is where we belonged. We will have our third child entering Good Shepherd next year and have never once questioned or second guessed our decision to join this school!Good Shepherd is a very strong, caring, family community. A place where I know without a doubt that my kids are in wonderful hands. We couldn't be any happier with the level of education our children are receiving, the faith formation and the positive and supportive social atmosphere!

Sara Ballinger: but we wanted to make sure she was best prepared socially and academically for junior high. We couldn’t be happier with our decision. After her first week, she came home and told us, “I get why you wanted to send me to Good Shepherd.” She was welcomed warmly and immediately treated as one of the family. The administration and staff are second to none. They foster involvement, respect and FANTASTIC study habits. The laptop program is a unique differentiator, and learning experiences like Invention Convention and JA Biztown are also top-notch. Our only regret? Not switching her sooner. We will miss it!

Lexy Wikenheiser: to partner on projects or set a good example. The service club for the kids in 6th grade has been a wonderful program which allows them both to give back to the school and demonstrate responsibility

Conrad Ehr: . Those who have been around a long time have the wisdom and understanding of what is best for younger kids. The newer teachers bring a strong understanding of what is new and successful in the world of primary education. This mix allows students to begin to learn life lessons. The curriculum is very cutting edge, with older kids having a laptop assigned at the beginning of the year, thus preparing them for the challenges of Junior High and leading them into High School. Finally, I would say that when you are part of Good Shepherd School, you are part of an extended family that will find a way to help you stay there. The cost is extremely reasonable when you take into account that the children are loved and taught according to their individual needs, as well as being part of a larger society. They are taught to respect their elders, and yet are allowed to show the strength of their own character. If you are on the fence, please try it for one year. You won't regret it.

Zachary Kretchmer: , to all the teachers and support staff, we could not have picked a better school for our children. Patience, structure, and inspiration are intertwined in an educational curriculum second to none. Religious instruction is an important part of the curriculum, but not in an overbearing way. There is a tremendous sense of community among the children and the parents - we really are a big family - and are honored to serve as a resource for one another. I could not offer a higher recommendation for an elementary school.

Angie Knodel: Our first year at Good Shepherd was in 2010 and we now have all 4 children attending Good Shepherd. We couldn't be happier with our experience and the education that our kids are receiving. I think my favorite part of Good Shepherd is the school community. My husband and I both grew up in small towns and we were looking for a community atmosphere and Good Shepherd is exactly that. We've had such wonderful experiences with other parents, the teachers and always feel welcomed. Good Shepherd is such a gem in the Twin Cities!

Bryan Clark: We could not imagine a better school for our daughter - and she agrees! The warm, personalized welcome and the feeling you are among friends and family is inescapable each time you walk into the building. The classrooms are integrated with the latest educational technologies that are seamlessly integrated into the curriculum. From the multiple family activities that are available throughout the year to the fantastic extracurricular opportunities - sports, scouting, band, chess club and summer care programs - the school is filled with teachers that care about the children. With each passing year, we remain pleased with our choice and the knowledge that our daughter is getting a wonderful education.

Emily Johnson Piper: Good Shepherd is an outstanding school. Our three oldest children attend Good Shepherd and we have been so impressed with the academics, activities, and the school community. In addition to the wonderful teachers and the amazing principal, Mr. Z., their after-school and summer care leaders are outstanding as well. From homework room and weekly chess club to field trips every day during the summer, Good Shepherd really supports our two-working-parent family. We are very happy we chose Good Shepherd for our family!

Kari Staples: Good Shepherd is near and dear to our family's hearts! Good Shepherd has been a part of my life since the early '80s when I started attending there. Now 30+ years later, I have 2 graduates of Good Shepherd as well as a student still enrolled. We love the teachers and staff. Our children have received a top notch education and were readily prepared for junior and senior high! We love the caring, family atmosphere that is felt every time we walk in the building. Highly recommended for anyone looking for Catholic Education in Golden Valley and the surrounding areas.

Marissa Weller: I went there like 5 or 6 years ago

Kevin Lind: I go thare

Jennifer Reinhard: Concordia Academy has been a blessing for our family, and I recommend it to anyone interested in a Christian education for their children. CA has the unique combination of a small, caring atmosphere along with rigorous academics and competitive athletic programs. The Christian staff and teachers care about my children not only as students with a responsibility to learn but also as individuals who have unique and special talents. I suggest you take the opportunity to explore how CA could be a place where your student will thrive!

Bev Thompson: , and that he’s in a place where he can grow in all possible ways in a caring, nurturing, faithful

Megan Hunt: My son is a sophomore at Concordia Academy and I am so thankful every single day this is where he and we as parents chose to have him attend high school! He is thriving academically, socially, emotionally and most importantly growing daily in his relationship with God. It is hard to say all the wonderful things CA provides to he and our family in a short review, but the combination of incredibly dedicated staff, teachers and administration along with the amazing students who bring vibrant life, strong pursuit of academic learning and a personal relationship with Jesus Christ are giving our son a very strong foundation and springboard to a bright future of positive relationships, post-secondary education and a life of service to others to be a positive world changer.

Theresa Currie: The teachers at Concordia really care for their students. They have also encouraged my son to step out of his comfort zone and try new things! I am thankful for this Christ centered school!

Maureen Johnson: Great high school and best decision we made for our son 3 years ago. As we are half way through his junior year we are amazed at the well rounded young man he is becoming and a huge part of that is the education, support and encouragement CA has provided him and us as his parents. We are looking forward to our daughter starting next year and she is excited about the option of an Emerging Artists program when so many schools are cutting the arts!

Kari Hermansen: Concordia Academy has been such a blessing to my children and I. My son was able to take enough PSEO/College classes at Concordia Academy, that he was able to start college as a second semester sophomore credit-wise. Both my children have been able to take classes that have enriched them mentally and spiritually. They are challenged and encouraged by teachers and staff at CA daily to live out their faith. Pastor/Principal Berner is phenomenal! My kids have really enjoyed the huge variety of speakers, organizations and bands that have presented at their Chapels. I would never want to live through High School again, but if I had to do it, I would do it at CA!

Heather Elting-Ballard: Concordia has been a great high school for our kids--it's been a wonderful place for them to grow both academically and in their faith! Teachers are excellent, the environment is safe and supportive, and classes are small. Our kids have especially loved participating in the STEM2 Program--including robotics competitions and ICE Lab--and in the Drama Department!

Laura Gayner: My student loves to attend school here. The teachers are wonderful and supportive. I feel they care about their students education and well being. The school offers college level and honors classes that are challenging and rigorous. I recommend Concordia Academy to any family interested in Christian education for their children.

Cham Otong: it is a awesome school and people love to worship there

Chesterton Academy of the Twin Cities: what do users think?

Jeff: Our eldest daughter attended Chesterton Academy of the Twin Cities for four years. It was life changing. Not only did she emerge as a faithful, practicing Catholic, she was also well prepared for college. It also worked out very well for her on the social side of things. Unlike her previous experience at a public school, she was welcomed warmly and found true community at Chesterton. Our youngest will be attending Chesterton soon.Recommended without reservation!

Eric Franz: Don't listen to Kistler or Mannie. They're trolls.

Jane Paquette: Definitely like one of the most Catholic schools in Minnesota. I just graduated like a couple months ago and found an awesome environment for faith. It's literally like one of the most integrated and like specialized schools for learning humanities.

Alessandro Narez Meza: Going to Chesterton Academy was like the best decision that was ever made for me. It has a great Catholic community like you can’t get anything better than that. It has a great curriculum as well and the teachers here were great. If your thinking of sending your kids here you should like you will definitely give them a good experience and education!

Friedrich Boeser: This school is like the best school I have ever been at. It’s like the curriculum really caters to both faith and success.

Jenny: Great Catholic school!
