She knew which Hom Depot store sells them because when she goes to other Hom Depot stores when she is near them and checks out what they have for inventory that she doesn’t have at this store!!!Ruth is such a great employee and certainly deserves recognition for her great customer service and subject matter expertise in electrical and lighting. Sam Smith: I was looking for replacement parts for an old tub faucet. Was referred to this place by another local plumbing supply store. The gentleman behind the counter new exactly what kind of old faucet I had as soon as he saw the stem. Produced a replacement in a matter of minutes, I left I with exactly what I needed even though I didn't know what kind of faucet I had to begin with. Now I know where to go in fifty years when the faucet fails again.

Jeff W: With summer approaching it was time to get my central ac checked out and ready for the hot summer ahead. When Brad arrived he explained the process. Brad changed my furnace filter and turned off my April Air. He went outside checked and cleaned my ac system. Then he finally helped me program my thermostat. Brad was excellent. He answered all my questions. I highly recommend Standard Heating and Air Conditioning.

Lucia McLaren: Dylan came to our home to do routine air conditioning & furnace checks. We had never used Standard before. Dylan did an excellent job explaining the services he was performing & recommending a part be replaced. He had the cost of this replacement prepared and was able to do it at the same appointment.We’ve had issues with air getting to the upper level of our house for years and have had multiple other AC companies out about it to no avail. Dylan proposed a few fixes. We chose the easiest option that could be done same day. We can already tell a difference in overall air flow. Highly recommend Standard.

Alison: I spoke with a gentleman regarding an air return cavity. I was in the middle of a remodeling project and was unsure about the next steps. I emailed pictures & he gave me his recommendation. I’m very appreciative for the help he gave over the phone and in an email. I was able to complete my project immediately. I will definitely call Mill City for an any future problems or maintenance.
Torrance Beavers: During the last stretch of negative temperature we had a radiator freeze and crack. We called around and decided to go with Mill City Heating and cooling for the repair. I'm so happy we did. A professional, friendly, and knowledgable staff and technicians. Not only did they do a great job of installing the new radiator but when we called with concerns they answered all our questions and even walked me through how to maintain the boiler pressure over the phone until they could arrive to fix. Top notch service!!! I would absolutly recommened for anyone having heating issues!

Shortly after that on the same day, I received an email with a new bid for TWICE as much! It didn't feel right so I reached out to Mill City Heating and Cooling. They reviewed the project and provided a bid, we hired them and upon final payment, it was EXACTLY the same amount as their original bid
John Krech: and they were amazing. We were remodeling a house in Southwest Minneapolis that was down to the studs so we had many contractors through our place and Mill City was the best. You know someone is good when other people in the trades and even the inspectors ask who did the work. This was not a flip, we live in this house and the system has been working great. One thing I liked best is their final price was Navid’s original bid. I found them to be very professional and deliver high quality work for a good value. We have had them do work in another property and have referred them to family and friends and everyone has had the same experience.
tim: I had Mill City replace furnace and air conditioner in 4000 sq. ft. home. I don’t like to shop but spent time learning more then I needed to know about internal part manufacturers, brand performance history, air flow, proper sizing, and value points on HVAC efficiency. Then I met with 5 contractors. Mill City brought an “A” game at the “C” player price point and that was my concern when I selected them. If the analogy is a professional athlete they outplayed the contract. I am way more than happy with the job they did and do/have recommend them to anyone wanting the best value with least hassle.
wdcort: Boiler went out in a rental property and I called Mill City Cooling in.the early AM. They got there when they said they would. They.got the boiler working. Staff was friendly and flexible. I recommend them.

Navid came right over and showed me that it was most likely just that the dampers hadn't been adjusted for summer. He showed me how to adjust them myself and gave some great tips for maximizing the efficiency of the system. He was extremely courteous and helpful, the visit was quite quick, and he didn't charge us. We're super grateful! We'll definitely be using Mill City going forward!
Anne Fritzke: We live in an old house in Northeast Minneapolis and last fall we decided to finish out our basement. We hired Mill City Heating & Cooling to install a new high-efficiency furnace and air conditioner. They also installed and modified the duct work to the new mechanical room location. Dean did an exceptional job both altering the duct work for the new basement layout and installing the new furnace. I absolutely recommend Mill City Heating & Cooling and will definitely be calling them again if we ever have any future heating and cooling issues.

I brought in my cartridges and they dug through catalogs until they found someone who makes a replacement. It took a couple months for these special parts to come in, but once installed they worked flawlessly. I can't say enough good things about these people. I worked primarily with Nick for the parts and Max for pickup - they both did solid by me!

Several years ago Soderlin replaced our boiler and we were very happy with their work. So when the time came this winter to renovate our 2nd floor bathroom and add 2nd floor laundry to our home there was only one choice in our minds as to who to hire for the plumbing work - we called Soderlin. Jeff Taylor has visited our home twice over the past few months, and has also been very responsive via text, to help us plan for and execute this large and complex project. We are otherwise completing most of the renovation work ourselves and Jeff has been invaluable in helping us with items procurement and general planning. We are very much looking forward to Jeff completing this work for us next week so we can proceed with the project. We will always call Soderlin for our plumbing needs.

Bryan Halicki: My shower head in my 1928 Minneapolis home was leaking while my tub faucet was running for the past few months. I called Soderlin on 9/27 to diagnose and repair the issue. Their office picked up immediately and worked with my schedule to have someone arrive the next day. They sent Joel, a professional plumber with over 20 years of experience. He contacted me ahead of my appointment the morning of 9/28 and was prompt and early. He ran a few diagnostics and gave me a couple options to potentially fix the issue. He recommended the inexpensive option first which I went with. He replaced the shark bite fitting with a copper connection, and the shower head no longer leaked. The problem was due to a bad shark bite connection that was constricting the water flow and backing up to the shower head. Joel was professional, courteous, and explained the issue in easy to understand terms. Soderlin hourly rates were very reasonable, especially with their team like Joel that have decades of experience. I should have called them months ago to fix my issue. I received a 5 star service experience from them. I saved their business card for my fridge. They are my new go-to plumber for any of my plumbing needs. Thanks Soderlin Plumbing & Heating for the great experience!

Natasha Villanueva: We’ve contacted several contractors since buying a 100 year old house and the most difficult to reach was HVAC. After a few unsuccessful attempts with other companies, I was happy to find Endless Quality and Comfort and to support a Northside business. They answered immediately and have great processes in place to provide a quote, pay a deposit, and inform their customers of the status of their appointment in English and Spanish. They were able to obtain a permit, install a new fan, and connect the vent to the roof fast because as it turns out, the humid air had been blowing into the attic the whole time! I’m thankful they saved the structure of the house from any future damage and highly recommend.
