Janet Kirkley: I highly recommend Designers Marketplace.About three weeks prior to Christmas I was in dire need of two matching sofas.My designer told me about this place so, I went and talked with Tracy. Explained my situation.They had several options for in stock items but, nothing was really what I envisioned but, knew I was running out of time.Tracy indicated they had another shipment expected right before Christmas but, could not make guarantees. Tracy contacted the vendor multiple times during the next two weeks and by some Christmas miracle the couches arrived the week of Christmas. I’m so thankful for her persistent in helping me. I will be going there for all my furniture needs going forward. So thank you Tracy and the DMP team!

park prin: I first walked into the IDC during the height of the pandemic and said I needed to furnish a newly purchased townhome, that I knew what I wanted but that I intensely dislike shopping. During the following months Dawn and Denise could not have been more helpful. They not only heard what I was saying, they listened. My time was never wasted and I was never pressured but was shown items in keeping with what I had said I needed and wanted. I do not live in the Minneapolis/St. Paul metro area so considerable communication took place by phone and email with Dawn always keeping Denise current as related to items under consideration and decisions made while Denise did the same with Dawn. Not once was there even the slightest miscommunication. When we learned due to the pandemic the factory in Finland had stopped making dining tables and chairs Denise contacted someone at the factory to ask if they could please make the one table and 4 chairs I wanted from stock on hand AND THEY DID!!! I was grateful beyond words to think she had done this and that those at the factory had agreed. Three times Kevin and Rick delivered items to my home and each time I was impressed by their work habits. Kevin is extremely skilled/talented and a strong leader and I appreciated how he appropriately mentored Rick relating to why things were being done as they were. Every piece was placed exactly where I wanted and I know had I not been happy they'd have moved them. Whether ordered from Finland or Norway or bought off the floor, I could not be more pleased with the quality of the many pieces from the IDC and as important, could not be happier with the experience I had working with Dawn, Denise, Kevin and Rick. They were exceptional.

Ellen White: I have been searching for years for this piece of furniture. I found it here! I drove four and half hours to pick it up. Within the two days I planned to pick it up I sent many text messages requesting pictures and asking many questions. I made several phone calls and Kathy was great! I even sent a text at 2am asking her something and she laughed when returning my text asking if I ever sleep. The whole experience from the time I found it and made the first phone call to driving off was professional and outstanding. I would highly recommend them. I also bought the art and some decor to make sure it fit in the room I was putting it in.
Nathan Hamm (rev_rend): This is a fantastic company to deal with. I initially found them because they had a recliner I wanted in stock and ready to ship when other retailers had a 12 week wait. After I ordered, communication was fantastic. There was a slight mix up about details of my order that was found when the chair was ready to be shipped. I got a call and email immediately to confirm all the details. The chair arrived in Oregon well packaged and I love it. I look forward to working with IDC for future furniture purchases.
Deena Fulton: I live on the East Coast and saw a shelving unit I wanted that was listed at a discounted rate on the website. I called to make sure the product was still in stock and to get an estimated shipping time, and the customer service rep let me know that they only had one left in stock and that it was the floor sample. They went and checked on it and told me it was damaged and they'd rather not sell it given the damage. So in the end I didn't purchase from this store, but I'm really grateful they were honest about the condition of the piece. Without their customer service, I would've just ordered the piece and it would've either been such a pain to deal with an interstate furniture return or such a disappointment to have a damaged piece.
Spencer Strand: I purchased a new home in the Milwaukee area and furnished my entire kitchen with International Design Center teak products. From the dining table, chairs, sideboard and hutch to counter stools it is all quality brand new products. A lot of teak I have found is used, so getting it new from IDC is what I wanted and at a fair price point. The delivery was simple. I paid for white glove and didn't have to lift a finger. I recommend going that route out of state. I had a couple questions once I received the product about treatment and Mark from their warehouse team was very helpful. Would recommend this company to anyone looking for teak furniture.

Homer Rutledge: . The staff is awesome!Cons: only open on the weekends, the line to get in gets long, but it generally moves fast. Once inside, it can be a bit chaotic.We've been here 4 or 5 times, and purchased over a dozen items.This is an outlet for customer returns, floor models, and/or discontinued items, so you never know what you are going to find. All the inventory is in very good shape, though. Some items have easily spotted minor imperfections, but most look brand new and in perfect condition to me.They are only open on the weekend, and people start to line up 30 or 40 minutes before the doors open. The line gets long, but moves a lot faster than you'd expect. Once, I was as at the end of the longest line I've seen there, and I waited about 30 minutes before I was in the door.Once you're inside, it's a bit hectic. Lots of people scrambling to look through the inventory. Once you find something you want, you flag down an employee who marks the item as sold, and gives you a tag to take to the register.The staff is fantastic. Very helpful and friendly. They do a great job managing the chaos. Without such a high quality staff, the place would be anarchy. Can't praise them enough.Once you've made a purchase, you can choose to have your items delivered

Steven: Deals can be had on quality Room & Board furniture but manage your expectations. 1st, it does take some time to get in the store when they open on Sat and also checking out takes some time. Expect to spend 90 mins to 2 hours here. 2nd, selection varies every weekend so there's a chance you won't see anything good on the day you go and all the hot deals will be gone by Sat afternoon. They do deliver and it's a flat fee no matter how many items so that is a bargain! Don't need to rent a truck and find help to move.

We worked with Nicole Woods to completely furnish our basement - decorations, pillows, side tables, lamps and a new sectional. Our space was challenging to put together well because of the shape, but Nicole spent a lot of time choosing pieces and layouts to make it work. We are so happy with the final design and the quality of the products. She had a number of meetings with us to ensure we found the products we were happy with and that worked for our family. This was the 4th furniture store I stopped at today.The furniture is well made, you can feel the quality and difference compared to the other stores. The style of it is exactly what I’ve been looking for. The furniture was mostly really comfortable. The knowledge of the staff is unmatched, they’ll go out of their way to help you.My only complaint is the price for the furniture. But I don’t think it’s overpriced, all their stuff seems to be made really well. You get what you pay for and this is definitely not cheap pressed wood like many other stores have.

Jon McCarty: We came here last November to shop for a loveseat and got scared off by the associate being overly pushy and didn't make a purchase. We happened to be at the Rosedale mall this weekend and decided to try Becker again to see if they still had the loveseat we were originally interested in. There was a different associate working who helped us this time. Neilan answered questions and gave us time to shop around. The item was still there and she was able to negotiate a better price. The show room was pretty disorganized and scattered because of a rearrange which made it difficult to navigate and get to certain pieces of furniture.
