Treadle Yard Goods: what do users think?

Deepa Nirmal: I don't sew but I stop by TYG often to buy buttons for my knitted sweaters. They have a great selection and extremely knowledgeable and friendly staff. One of these days I will find time to learn to sew, and take advantage of their gorgeous selection of fabrics. Oh, and they have unique things like rolls of oilcloth! I bought some for a patio table and it's fantastic because you can just wipe it clean. They stock it in a variety of fun summer prints. Please support local stores. Not only does this keep your $$ in the community, you simply cannot get this kind of expert advice or attention from a big box store or Amazon.

Molly McKenzie: Such a fun little fabric store! Michelle was very nice and helpful

Marine Dumas: Love the place. Wish I lived closer.

Nancy Russell: This store is wonderful with beautiful fabrics and friendly helpful staff. They also have excellent classes for every level of sewist-i have taken several. I've been sewing since I was a kid and always learn a lot! And if that weren't enough, they work with the charity Sew Good Goods!

Alli Tripp: Very nice service, classes fabrics and supplies

maxwell samuel: Very helpful staff and owner once you break the initial I've with them. Concise, well curated offerings of good quality fabric.

Dan Maher: Great service wonderful products I always like going to get there bulk material for a tablecloth really reasonably priced

C Johnson: Nice people running a nice little shop, not into sewing myself but they occasionally have sales of sewed items and found a nice stuffed animal for my child. I also appreciate their variety of interesting patterns they put up in the shop window.

Pres CarlJohn: I'm love them.

Penny Draves: Simply the very best!!

Bryce Livingston: They have a great collection of single buttons. The owner was incredibly helpful and kind! Although we couldn’t find an exact match to my missing button, they did have a couple which matched the dress. The owner gave me an awesome tip to make it all work.

J Cardarelli: Coming here is very worthwhile. A bit of a lot! But it's a secret...

Olga Formogey: Not the same store since owner changed. I think it is more sewing classes school rather fabric store... They have very limited amount of fabric, still some good choices, but...there are only about 20-30 fabric to choose from.. , most of it is cotton...

humble pup: No nonsense little shop selling good quality products and with enthusiastic, helpful and knowledgeable staff.

sonia micek: What a treat to find beautiful linen! Wonderful service

I purchased my Brother Duetta 2 embroidery machine there years ago, and it is still running great! I really like that I can bring my machines in for maintenance, and they come back running like new. I absolutely love my Accuquilt Go Big! My favorite die is Storm at Sea, because it is so versatile. RETHINK Tailoring & Sewing Lounge: what do users think?

Cathy Swope: Rethink has retail too! Really cute vintage clothes in great condition plus upcycled items including jewelry you won't see everywhere. And they have added fabric too, it's not online but they have posted pics on their insta.

Logan Elizabeth: Rethink Tailoring is the place to go for repairs and clothing upcycle projects. Kristen and her team are so lovely and talented. My favorite part of Rethink is their commitment to sustainability and their goal of keeping garments out of the landfill!!

Molly Stoltz: Love the people at Rethink, they are so creative!

Bridget Adams: Super friendly and helpful! I'm really looking forward to taking more classes

Marky Marc: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Responsiveness,ValueWow! I'm very impressed with Kristen's skill set and expertise. I had some tricky alterations that were done to perfection. I'm so appreciative of Rethink Tailoring's work and mission. I will recommend to all my friends seeking alterations. Thank you for being in the neighborhood!Service:Alterations

Atlas Gizzi (Anna): They have my business for as long as they’ll take it! They make the best masks and do top notch tailoring

Merry Yeager: We just bought more masks from Kristen at Rethink, I can tell she put a lot of thought and effort into her design. It's nearly impossible to find a universal mask that will fit everyone perfect, but she got pretty close!! I like how the elastic can be tightened easily and I do think that helped some of my fitting issues. She even has a how to video for her masks! Mostly we love the playful fabric she chooses and I feel good supporting a business that cares so much about their community. Rethink has multiple volunteer and donations projects for COVID-19 locally. I'm also really stoked to get some sewing classes from her!

Madeline Strom: Rethink Tailoring is a community minded, super awesome clothing and fabric upcycling resource run by a totally beautiful human. We got four reversable face masks and they are super well made and we love them.

Their staff is very helpful and goes out of their way to make sure you are getting what you need. I will continue to use this location and very highly recommend them to sewists of any level. Thank you Creative Sewing, Roseville!

Jessica Timmerman: For the past 15 years I’ve consistently looked to them for my sewing needs! Emily Q. Tolly: The most charming neighborhood sewing shop. I am so happy this little place exists. They have beautiful, quality fabric and sewing supplies and are super helpful when I have gone in with questions for projects I am working on.

Karen S: My cousin went to London. When she returned, she gifted me with several small cuts of Liberty lawn, all pinks and rose colors. I needed more, in cooler colors, to make a lap quilt. I went online for smaller cuts of Liberty fabrics, found Lake Makerie, ordered, and the items were in my mailbox with the week. Great service. Thank you!

Nia steinhagen: beautiful shop with a gorgeous fabric selection and very kind employees. i will definitely be back!

Lauren Dosland: Absolutely lovely shop. I could have spent all day in there and gone broke, but happily. I love the fabric I got for my sewing project. Support this local business, we must protect it!

Christy Marsden: What a gem of a shop! The staff was incredibly helpful and welcoming, providing advice and assistance for choosing fabrics for my projects. They seemed to really enjoy sewing, and were welcoming to a beginner like myself who had lots of questions. The selection was really great, too! It was so nice being able to touch all the fabrics, drape them against my body to get a feel for how a dress may look, and to get everything else you need to start sewing. And given the proximity to the Minnehaha Parkway for easy biking, and a D line bus stop just a block or so away, I'll definitely be back!

Kathy Swenson: Beautiful, beautiful fabrics, fun notions, and lots of patterns not by the big pattern makers.

Julianne Marley: I love everything about this shop!

Sara McGirr: We had the best service experience in this gorgeous shop- They were incredibly helpful and patient as we gleefully selected from their hundreds of unique fabrics. Love this shop and the people in it!

Claire Milldrum: So supportive and kind!

Clothier Design Source: what do users think?

p s: If I could give more stars, I would. CDS has been an amazing partner in the development process. They are well organized, reliable, professional, friendly, and knowledgeable, The whole team is amazing. My design manager is especially hard-working and meticulous. The samples come in fast and are high quality. As a new brand, I'm so grateful for finding such a wonderful company to work with. Going forward, I plan to continue developing with them and would highly recommend them to others.

Mr Zil Fashion School: Hello, good morning Please this is Mr Zil clothing.Am from West Africa and I need work in your industry, you can check my handworks by searching Mr Zil clothing on the map or even on google,I will be glad to work with you. Thanks very much for your time

Katie Cadena: I have been working with CDS for nearly 2 years, and every step of the way has been a fantastic experience. I was completely new to fashion design/production, and I can't recommend CDS and their Apparel Academy enough to the beginning fashion entrepreneur. So thankful that I found CDS, working with Karolyn has been a dream.

Oksana Patrick: .I strongly believe that were it not for the Clothier Design Source team I would not be where I am now. I am very proud of myself and feel grateful for the Clothier Design team.Thank you, Mindy, for building a high performing business, good service, and your team’s expertise in the industry.Blue Surfer Girl

Tori Sowul: I have been overwhelmingly satisfied working with Clothier Design Source. Although I am very inexperienced in the fashion industry, their team of designers have thoroughly explained the process and helped me at each step of the production and manufacturing phase. Kari and team have done a great job of listening and executing my ideas. I'm excited to partner and grow my fashion line with them! Oh ya - I also flew to MN to take their Apparel Academy and would say it's very worthwhile - I feel way more confident in textiles, tech packs, and all the industry vocabulary that often flew over my head.

Theresa Mahon: We contacted Clothier thru Makers Row as they seemed to be a great fit with our project. We totally lucked out. They were so awesome. We created PIPs Panty - a patented specialty underwear specifically for postpartum moms. The Clothier team was fantastic. Kellie K was our project manager. All of our work was done via phone and email because we are based in NY. We could not believe how attentive they were to our project, right down to the smallest of details - and were sensitive to our budgetary constraints as a small start up. The finished project was just great and we are out to market. We are so proud that PIPs Panty is made right here in the USA by a fair wage manufacturer. Clothier Design is amazing.

Patty Vanderburgh: Clothier Design Source has been an incredible asset for me in finally launching my patented new design in athletic outerwear pants - Rareactive.co. I had been working on this project for years and until I found CDS I hit roadblock after roadblock. CDS really walks you through every step of the process. They helped me with design, sourcing, sampling, and ultimately manufacturing. They did it all patiently and professionally and final the product I received was phenomenal. Thanks CDS! A special thank you to Kellie and Karolyn - they are the best!

Alice Bioff: Amazing company! So thankful for all the tools, resources and staff that helped us develop our first product! We live in Northwest Alaska and did everything via distance and let me tell you TRUST was a big factor and through 6 am video conferences, numerous emails and one-on-one consultations, that relationship and trust was built. We look forward to our continued collaboration in future product development.

Beth Walser: Attended the Apparel Academy and it was super informative! Mindy goes over everything you need to start your line and be successful from a design and production standpoint. She and her team have been an absolute delight and wealth of knowledge for a novice like myself to work with so far! So great!

Kristine Larsen: Responsive, friendly and knowledgeable - a pleasure to work with.

Rebecca Saito: They fixed while i waited so i wouldn't have to wait 2 months. That's old time customer service@

Dexter Carlson: I received a serger as a gift and noticed that one of my threads was having a progressively worsening tension issues, no matter how much I adjusted it. I took my machine to Valley West and they helped me right away and gave me so much great information about my machine along the way. AND while I was there I noticed how much hustle the staff has, and with such wonderful kindness. I will be returning for any future issues and recommending to other sewing machine owners!

But they helped me figure out what I was doing wrong and I was able to get training on how to best maintain my machine for a very affordable price. They were kind both times and tried to help me get what I needed without having to wait if possible. I really recommend this shop.

I called ahead and was pleasantly surprised at the price and when I got there was pleasantly surprised the sewing machine repair person was extremely helpful at discussing my machine’s issue. I will bring my machine there for tuneups in the future. If you need something for your machine try them instead of ordering it online. It saved me time and money.

Kelley vilen: Great service. They were able to look at my machine, fix my simple issue, and get me on my way on the same visit. Will definitely be returning for future repairs.

Digs: what do users think?

Drake Friesen: Awesome boutique shop!

Laura Olson: I checked out a few fabric stores that day.....this was the most unique.....reminded me of the shops in Stillwater. Good quality fabrics and unique gift store.

Cole Sarar: Great little sewing/crafting/gift shop. I’ve gotten all sorts of basic sewing needs here- zippers, wonder clips, buttons, etc. lots of vintage goods too.

Mind Yobiz: This place is less than a mile from where I live, I went there looking for some fabric to make some panels for my walls. Boy oh boy was I stunned by the selection, every color, tons of patterns, stripes, solids, prints and more. Plus the cards, cups, mugs, hand made items, easily the greatest 800 square feet I have walked into ever. All the items are made by individual crafters and not corporations, which makes it all the better.

Mike Gustafson: Hard to make a quick visit. Found cute items for babies. Clever gifts & crafty items for a project. Diverse vintage items too. I 'll be back.

Mariel Goettsch: Wonderful local shop - both for sewing needs and handmade gifts! One woman show💁‍♀️ always helpful and personable.

Susanne Bushman: This is one of my favorite little spots in Minneapolis! Tons of cute new and vintage gifts and goodies to look at, a nice selection of crafting tools, and delightful fabric

Colleen Clish: Charming selection of fabrics, cards, crafts, and vintage items.

Lucy Ross: Such a fun shop! We spent far too much time goofing around in here. Really wonderful staff. Lots of unique trinkets, old pictures, fabric, jewelry, and these surprise jars that had my group so excited to come back. Really a cheerful spot, whimsical but well organized. Lots going on in there! Fun spot to stop and spend time in.

Michael Waldegerma: Great neighborhood shop to visit for kitchenware, candles,al and other items both vintage and locally crafted. Most of the space seems to be fabrics but I don't know enough to comment.

M S: The cutest little store, and a favorite place to buy earrings, fabric, cute gifts for new babies, bday cards, and other fun things for home!

Rebecca Darling: Um, I spent an hour in this store and I could have spent more. Excellent fabric selections, including some pretty unique fabric at good prices. Staff was helpful without being in your biz. Probably not a great store to bring little kids cause there's a million wonderful tiny things to touch. Plus you'll miss all the cool stuff.Visit. Buy fabric and yarn. Shop local!

Kelly U: Such a fun store! They have wonderful unique gifts and a great yarn and fabric selection. Their boutique yarn is very reasonably priced. Will definitely go back!

The seamstress did an incredible job. She took out the old lining and stitched so that the lining was smooth across the entire sleeping bag.
