Kelsey Hobbs: Trying on dresses with Nikolina was the highlight of my wedding dress search. Even my less vintage-inclined friends were impressed with her incredible design knowledge and the vision she cast for modifying each piece to create my own personal aesthetic. She was so fun to work with! Shopping through their selection does require some imagination, but as someone who loves envisioning possibilities, this was half of the adventure. I would highly recommend this place for anyone who wants to create a personal and unique vintage dress or revive a historical piece with sentimental value - you won't regret taking the time to imagine with Nikolina.

Andrea, the owner, has a great eye regarding what she buys and is so warm and welcoming. Her daughter, Nic, runs the show during the appointment, pulling dresses to try on and I think she has good intuition with what people like and tries to present the right dress for the right person. Your group is in there alone, which makes it a really great, intimate experience. And Pierre, their big white poodle, also helps add to the friendly atmosphere in the shop! They truly enjoy what they do at Andrea's and it makes for an amazing, one-of-a-kind experience.

As a Minnesota native, currently living in New York City, I had visited several New York boutiques only to be disappointed with the quality of the service, the staff’s lack of knowledge, and the very high prices I encountered in my search for a unique gown. After I booking tickets home to visit Minnesota I also made an appointment at Andrea’s Vintage Bridal.My experience at Andrea’s was fabulous! My mom, maid of honor, and future sister-in-law were able to go with me, and we had an absolutely lovely time! Nikolina, Andrea’s daughter, was so welcoming and extremely helpful! From the moment we walked in she gave us her undivided attention, and made the whole experience fun. For the first time in my search for a wedding dress I was able to enjoy the process of taking my time to look at gowns and try them on. Nikolina pulled so many beautiful dresses for me to try and offered extremely helpful styling advice when it came to many of the gowns. She was able to suggest so many ideas, such as the removal of sleeves, the remaking of a bodice, or adding a train. For the first time I was also finding dresses that I loved! Not only did the dress I ended up buying exceeded my expectations, but it was affordable and within my budget.The shop also offers very reasonable alterations, and has a beautiful assortment of vintage jewelry, accessories, and headpieces. I highly recommend Andrea’s Vintage Bridal. Andrea and Nikolina’s expertise and care for what they do is evident.
Jessie Holly: Andrea and her staff are amazing! They give you a totally personalized shopping experience and help you find the perfect unique dress for you. Everything is customizable and they help you get creative with a vintage dress. They are super affordable for both dresses, accessories, and alterations. I spent way less here than I would have at any other bridal shop. They were also super helpful with styling. Amazing products!!!!

Lauren Kostak: Giving five stars for Brides of France because of Dee!! I bought a dress here a month ago trusting the confident advice that the dress would be able to zip up and fit me after letting out some fabric from the sides. However, multiple tailors informed me I was given wrong information as there was not nearly enough fabric to do so and the dress would not be able to fit me. I went back to Brides of France and explained the situation to Dee, and she completely saved the day with the most amazing customer service I have ever experienced. She was understanding and went above and beyond to correct the situation in so many ways. With her care and priority in finding me a new dress, I was able to feel at ease after an incredibly stressful situation and left the shop again with renewed excitement and a gorgeous dress that was meant for me after all! Thank you so much Dee!!
Adrienne Dolney: Dee is amazing! I had a private personalized appointment. I told her what I was looking for and what I didn't want. She really listened. The first dress that she chose for me to try was the one! It's like it was made for me! I also told her how I thought I wanted to accessorize and she grabbed exactly what I described so I could see what it would look like. I feel like I got a fantastic deal on a couture dress that normally would have been way out of my price range.

Taylor Lund: This place was wonderful. Other stores would treat me like a princess, which is nice and all, but this lady treated me like a thinking person. She was fun and comfortable to work with and she showed me some tricks of the trade that really surprised me. I'm not sure I've found my dress yet, but I found something just as valuable here. It's a small boutique but so worth stopping by!

Tamra Gredell: In 2015 I went here for a bridesmaid dress. I had such an amazing experience that I always knew when it was time for wedding dress shopping I wanted to look here. Although time has passed and they moved down the street the service was still top notch. Dee was so great. She understood exactly what I was looking for and made me feel incredibly comfortable in the process and as someone who is a bit self conscious and strongly dislikes dress shopping in general this was so important! She even encouraged me to go to my other appointments that afternoon to make sure my dress was “the one” and when I returned she again was so helpful while managing another appointment. They had a wide selection of dresses and I felt their prices were comparable if not better than other boutiques. I am so happy with my dress and can’t wait to wear it on the big day!

Amy ONeill: Jill was so accommodating today when my daughter and her friends wanted to make a last minute appointment to try on dresses. The shop has a great variety of off the rack dresses and special order dresses. Jill was very knowledgeable about the different styles and was very helpful in the process. Makayla McGregor: I could not speak more highly about a&bé bridal shop in Minneapolis! The vibe of the shop was amazing, from the names of the brides coming in that day written on the door, to the amazing staff and wide variety of dress options. I could not have had a better experience if I tried! Hannah was my bridal stylist, and was an absolute joy to work with. She was extremely helpful, and was willing to pull so many different dress styles to help me find the one for me. She definitely made the day go so much smoother, and made the day even more fun! She was also very responsive when I had questions weeks later about my dress. I could not recommend a&bé and their staff enough!! 😊
Blair Prewitt: a&bé was the first spot I went to try on dresses. I really loved a brand that they carried, but after trying them on, I wasn’t sure anymore.My consultant - Liv - PHENOMENAL. I can’t say enough good things about her. I felt like we were best friends and she hyped me up so much even though internally I was struggling. She ended up pulling a dress that was so different than what I pictured myself in, but once I had it on I knew that was my wedding dress.I left without buying since I still wanted to try on some other styles, but I came back a few weeks later and bought it.I never felt pressured to buy anything and Liv truly treated me like I was just playing dress up with no expectations. I was so happy to buy from them, specially because of Liv!I am giving 4 stars because I do wish they had larger sizes of some of their tighter dresses. I am a 8/10, and it was extremely difficult to picture myself in certain dresses that I loved because they were SO tight. It’s so important to be able to try on things that may not fit exactly right, but still give you an accurate picture of what the right size would look like. Trying on dresses that were extremely tight put me in a super overstimulated space mentally, so I would just love to recommend to the store to carry a larger size of all dresses.Other than that, store was stunning and never felt overcrowded.THANK YOU LIV

Lisa Nicklay: a&be has sooo many dress options. I had often times heard they are more "Boho" if you will, which made me feel they would only have one style of dress but that is not at all the case. They offer plenty of styles and many unique options for all kinds of bridal dresses. They also promise to stay within the budget they give you and won't ever try to do a sales pitch or put you in something you cannot afford. I worked with both Stella and Macy. Both were extremely helpful, kind and fun. They were very easy going, which was a huge priority to me being that the experience can be overwhelming. I did end up buying a dress from here that I absolutely love. Overall, I had an awesome experience and would highly recommend coming here if you are looking to book a wedding dress appointment!

As someone who is 5 feet 0 inches tall, with a petite frame, I was so nervous that my dream dress wasn't really one that was initially created for MY body type. When I found Chelsea, all of my worries went away. Not only is she exceptionally talented, but is genuinely just an amazingly kind person. The final gown and custom veil felt like a dream come true, and both fit perfectly. Everyone was blown away at how beautiful my dress was, and I couldn't rate Chelsea any higher- I wish I could give 10 stars! I was very nervous about my strapless dress as I didn’t want to be like so many others who spend most of their wedding day pulling up their dress but that worry immediately stopped once I found Chelsea. They took in my dress to where it was snug and comfortable, shorted it and added additional boning for structure and it was AMAZING. I am so pleased with everything from my experience.

Lindsay S: Chelsea saved my dress. After the bridal salon ordered me a dress TWO sizes too big, we had to take my dress in SO much. My dress had an open back and open sides, so to take it in we first almost had to completely sew up the beautiful open sides and I was heartbroken. Thankfully Chelsea was able to take my dress in from the back, preserving its original look and still making it fit me despite the salon’s mistake. She was incredibly kind and patient as we adjusted, readjusted, and re-readjusted things to make it fit. It came out beautiful! Would recommend Chelsea to anyone looking for top notch alterations.

I knew that I wanted something fun and colorful, and Chelsea delivered. Not only is she amazingly talented, but she is kind, thoughtful, and was such a pleasure to work with. Her studio is beautiful and inviting and I always left our fittings with a smile on my face.Chelsea took my idea for a colorful floral wedding dress and brought it to life. I came with her with some general pictures and ideas, and I could never have dreamed of such an amazing dress. She also, unexpectedly, brought in a friend to help design my own custom fabric!! We all worked together to create the most beautiful fabric that captured everything that I wanted. In the end, the dress was exquisitely executed and perfectly fitted.My Mom was also very involved in the design process, and eventually asked Chelsea to make her Mother of the Bride outfit. My Mom chose a suit from one of her existing collections, and Chelsea made it in a stunning magenta color. My Mom was in love with her outfit, and I would not be surprised if she gets it made in multiple colors.I wish I could have another wedding just so that I could work with Chelsea to design another dress. To all new brides - run, don't walk, to Modehaus and get yourself a Chelsea-original!!
Tori & Jared Sandlotz: Not only did Chelsea go above and beyond for my wedding dress sleeves + "wings" vision, but she also built from scratch my mom's custom suit. With my desire for a splash of color in my sleeves which I had removed and built paired with my moms desire for an outfit unlike the assumed gender norm for a woman's outfit, we came to Chelsea with an unusual and potentially heavy lift project.My mom would drive over from Wisconsin and I down from the north to Minneapolis to make numerous day excursions together. This added to the special build up to the wedding day. In the end, there is NO ONE else I would have wanted to work with. Folks mentioned they've never seen a dress like mine and were stunned by the sleeves. My favorite part were the wings. A lovely alternative to a veil.Chelsea has the ability to uplevel your outfit, while setting yours apart from anything out there. I will be getting my dress preserved with the sleeves on main display. As for my mom, she has a custom suit she actually feels comfortable in for the rest of her life.We are so pleased and will have these memories forever. Sounds cheesy, but this time and creation all together was something I will cherish for as long as I will remember

The straps looked like a perfect part of the dress. Chelsea made sure the dress fit perfectly, shortened it without loosing the beautiful scalloped train, and added a really nice bustle. Elle Christoferson: I can not begin to describe the incredible experience I had at Bridal Aisle Boutique this last Saturday. I came in very nervous, as it was my first time trying on dresses. Tonya immediately made me feel at home in the space. She took a quick look at my pinterest board and immediately pulled a selection of dresses in my size and price range. If a dress was slightly above my budget, she made sure to inform me before I tried it on. I was between two dresses at the end of my appointment, and Tonya was beyond encouraging for me to choose the one that felt the most like myself. I left my first ever bridal appointment with a dress, veil, and amazing experience underneath my belt. Adina Jonke: Would highly recommend Anna bé to all brides to be! The shop offers large individual spaces for you and your guests so you don’t even know if another appointment is going on. Olivia emailed and called me before my appointment to get a sense of what I was looking for and then even sent me some dresses to look at before I came in so she knew exactly what to pull for me to try on! She wasn’t pushy at all but asked all the right questions. I was feeling a bit overwhelmed by the end of my appointment and she made time for me to come back later in the day so I could say yes!

My brilliant sister-in-law, Amanda, made the appointment, knowing it would check all the boxes for me. She was RIGHT. Surrounded by my sister, sister-in-law, and bff, Claire guided me through dreamy dress after dreamy dress. It came down to two choices at the end but when posed with the question, “when you’re standing up there by Matt, what do you see?” I started bawling and knew the answer. Claire agreed! They were super knowledgeable and pulled a few dresses I wouldn’t have even thought to try. The owner, Carmen, is lovely as well and stopped by to congratulate me. I ended up finding my dress here and I couldn’t be more thrilled to wear it!

Honestly, it was such a good experience I wanted to buy a dress just to give them my business. First off, I loved the layout of the store. It had a really cool vibes with big beautiful windows that let in tons of natural light. I realized this was extremely important while bridal dress shopping. At my appointment, I worked with Jill. Who was laid back and made my feel both confident and comfortable the entire time. Jill always stayed within my budget and was extremely knowledgeable. Let's just say she had an eye for things I might have not tried on, which made a positive impact on me. After awhile dress shopping becomes overwhelming, but Jill helped take the pressure off and knew just what to grab. The White Room had an awesome selection of dresses, especially if you want something unique. The White Room left a lasting impression on me. Their highly curated style offers a portfolio of dresses that are high fashion and timeless.The personal attention that is provided by the team is the tops. Nikki helped us primarily, but we fell quickly in love with Gillian and [owner] Carmen at subsequent visits. Nikki was easy to get along with and was very calm and supportive, while also offering advice from someone who has done this for many years and helped many clients. Her advice was never pushy and she always worked hard to ensure my opinions were heard, amongst the voices / opinions of my nearest and dearest.I opted for a Laure de Sagazan gown and Nikki took about 25 different measurements. It was amazing to have a dress created to my personal specifications. When the dress arrived, I decided to have alterations done at The White Room, which was a slam dunk decision. Valentina was so talented and handled the alterations deftly. Nikki and the girls helped give me insight on how to have Valentina bustle the dress and sent me home with helpful tips on how to store it, steam it, clean it, preserve it.I wish I could buy dresses from The White Room way more often. These women are the absolute best. They'll be the first to admit that their collection might not be for every bride, so check out their website. If you like even one of the designers they carry, make an appointment. You will love this experience.

Their store environment is unmatched and all of the girls are so sweet and friendly. They really make the experience special for you. The dresses are clean and their selection is great. Leo was AMAZING, so kind, so thoughtful, so encouraging!! I was able to pick my own dresses off the rack which was really fun and very different than other places we went. I found two dresses I absolutely loved and needed some time to think about it. There was zero pressure from the staff to purchase that day which I loved, bc I really wanted to be sure in my decision! Leo was so helpful and quick to make me a return appointment a few days later to retry on my two favorites and make my final decision. I feel more and more confident in my choice as the days go on! Didn’t end up getting my dress here but they had so many great options. Erin was the best!! Minimal alterations make it even better. Can't wait to show it off!

Kimberly Clayton: There was a slight mix up with my initial appointment - how does Annika Bridal rectify this? By scheduling me directly with one of the boutique's owners - Annie. Who by the way is FABULOUS! She spent over an hour on the phone with me prior to my initial appointment figuring out exactly the difficulties I had been having at past appointments with other boutiques. By the time my appointment rolled around, she knew enough about me, our wedding, and what I would be comfortable wearing that she already had what would be my wedding dress hanging up in the fitting area. The dress she envisioned me loving based on our phone call, was the dress I DID end up falling in love with. It really was my dress. When my mom asked if the train of the dress could be longer, Annie immediately picked up the phone and contacted the designer Sassi Holford. They made it happen. Thank you Annie for going above and beyond!
Olivia Card-Childers: I had a great experience working with Annie to find my wedding dress. I came in a little skeptical about the whole process but Annie made it fun from the start. I never felt pressured to rush my decision and ended up buying a dress she picked out that I never would have imagined for myself. I loved it so much I didn't want to take it off! I never imagined I could be so excited about a piece of clothing but I cannot wait to wear this dress on my wedding day!

Ashley Kellerman: I went to Vow’d for my first appointment in search of my wedding dress and ended up finding THE one. I had such a wonderful experience with picking out and trying on dresses with Olivia who was helping me. They had a busy day with lots of brides and I could tell they were running around but even though she was probably very stressed, she was still incredibly kind, thoughtful, flexible, helpful, supportive and just as excited as we were when we found the one!! We ended up seeing the dress on another bride nearby and loving it and asked if we could try it on, Olivia was able to locate the dress quickly and allow me to try it on. I also appreciated Olivia’s patiences with my family and us going a bit over on time.One of my favorite aspects about making this appointment was during the scheduling process, they asked for a link to my Pinterest board to better understand my style and vision. I could tell they actually reviewed it because she referenced it when talking about her picks!A part of me wishes I didn’t find my dress just so that I could go dress shopping again because it was so much fun!!! I felt like a princess in the dress and am still so obsessed with it! I highly recommend Vow’d to any Minnesota Bride!! ☺️
sydney: I recently bought my wedding dress from here and I am so glad I did! They were able to welcome my whole party, compared to other bridal shops in the area that limit the number of guests, we were welcomed with champagne, and when the shopping started, my stylist Dana listened to what I envisioned, and hand-selected what she felt would be good for what I was looking for. Her suggestions allowed me to pick and choose the kinds of dress styles I liked and didn't like. I ended up finding a perfectly flattering and customizable dress that was well under my $1500 budget! I look forward to coming back next month to have my bridesmaid appointment!

Alli Prokop: .I came to her with an idea and she took it from there - from sourcing fabric to creating a custom shape fitted to my body and tweaking every last detail. Her attention to detail and knowledge of tailoring was apparent in the final product. Not to mention, Deborah is polite, professional, and thoughtful to work with. Her pricing is reasonable as well.
Shelby Swager: I absolutely loved working with Deborah! I was referred by my wedding planner, I was looking for a black wedding dress which is extremely hard to come by especially in plus size.I made a consult about a year and a half out from my wedding. When I came back for the drawings after the first consult I was amazed at the not one but three options she had for me! They all were amazing and I finally picked one that really fit what I was looking for. Every appointment was amazing, all the steps were super easy for me as well as scheduling. When I came in for my final fitting, about four days before my wedding, the hem in the front was a bit long and Deborah stayed up all night to fix the hem and was ready for me to try on and take home the next day!I absolutely loved my final look, it was everything and more I had hoped for. I cannot recommend this shop enough! Not only was the customer service great, the price was amazing and right around the budget I wanted. Thank you so much for making my vision come to life and helping my big day!

When I got engaged again, I wanted to go another route to try and capture that special feeling in a different way. Deborah helped me craft a dreamy dress out of my mother’s and grandmother’s gowns. This dress blew any dress I could have found at a store out of the water. It took a lot of structural work and she executed flawlessly. Each new visit another part began to come together with the overall vision and by the end I was in tears – tears of joy, of course!What Deborah had created was better than anything I had brought along for inspiration on my very first appointment. She used them as a guide, but she put my spin on it. She had successfully managed to get inside my head and see what I saw through my eyes. I honestly don’t know how she did it, but she did and for that I have no words other than THANK YOU!She also created a beautiful alteration for my mom’s dress. My mom and I had found a dress at Macy’s, but it was in the juniors section. It was a long spaghetti strap and was something a 16 or 17 year old might wear to homecoming or prom. However my mom is in her early 70s and the look was too young and too long. So I brought my mom to see Deborah and the two of them talked about how she wanted it shortened to between her ankle and knee and she wanted a sleeve, something that would flatter her arms, but would also keep her cool during the August wedding. Deborah took that idea and put together a design that not only went above and beyond my mom’s expectations by nailing all of her requests, so the look was right and flattering, but also made my mom FEEL beautiful!My mom is plus-sized, so she is very self-conscious about her mid-sections, arms, and her legs. Deborah helped my mom see herself like I see her. I see my mom’s mid-section as the place where she carried me and my siblings to term – healthy and happy. I see her arms as the first place I want to run to when something good or bad happens. I see her legs as the anchors to our family – they never wavered in any storm. Again, there are no words, but THANK YOU!If you have the chance for Deborah to make your dress or alter it – hands down she is the best in Minneapolis! She doesn’t just make a recreation of a dress

Deborah preserved the original hand beading on the dress while updating it for my fiancee's style. Valerie Michelle: The staff are friendly and the space is cool but it’s pretty infuriating that a $175 bridesmaid dress can’t have a half decent zipper that doesn’t get stuck where the seam intersects. It jams even when the dress isn’t on so it’s not merely a factor of the dress being tight. Cheap, corner cutting design but still high prices.

They allowed us to shop around and try on as many as we liked, we even were able to go back a second time. I had a bridesmaid drop out last minute and they were so quick to respond with trying to find alternatives to match the other dresses, although we didn't go with their alternative option its the thought that counts that they worked so hard to try and help the bride out!

Deanna Lynn Poling: I'm going on a cruise next week and was looking for business casual and fancy dresses for dinner attire. At first I didn't think they had anything in my size. I'm 2xl and size 18. Towards the back they have two rows of plus size clothes. It's a cute store but wish they had some bigger sizes. Not sure if that's really their fault with it being a consignment shop. I did find 2 pairs of dress pants so left mostly happy. I noticed they had a lot of other things in the store besides clothing and accessories. I didn't have time this visit but will be going back to check other items like a couch, chairs, home decor, etc.
