The Minneapolis Rowing Club (MRC) is a community organization dedicated to inspiring a lifelong passion for the sport of rowing. We offer learn to row programs, competitive teams, private lessons, and recreational rowing for adults and youth over the age of 11.
MRC is welcoming both on and off the water. We aspire to create a community that values inclusion and respects individuals. We actively reach out to the greater community to share the joy of rowing for all.
MRC has a respectful rowing culture that supports each rower’s goals and abilities. Our inclusive learning environment is built upon a foundation of safety, fairness and integrity.
MRC is an integral part of the local community. Through our efforts we support diversity in our neighborhoods. We build trusting relationships with community organizations.
MRC collaborates with our Twin Cities rowing partners to foster opportunities for all to row, especially those who are marginalized or excluded from the sport.

Brandon Werth: but it is accompanied by the privacy of a lush, verdant seclusion because of the island that it sits upon. I am in love with photographing here, if you have to opportunity to make some photographs of your couple at night make sure you peruse the island and use some of the street lights and skyline ambiance to illuminate your subjects.
Ryan Tessman: I love this place for getting married, the food is so good here! I married my first, second, and fifth wives here and had a great time at at least two of the them! There are beautiful views of Raspberry Island, Harriet Island and the Mighty MIssissippi! I cant wait for my next occasion to get married here!
Candace Corso: This is a great location for a medium size wedding. We had 75 people and it was plenty of space. We were able to do our own decorations and hang garland ourselves with no issues. The venue was awesome to work with and has everything you need. Everyone commented on how unique and perfect the location was for a wedding. It is within walking distance of downtown.
Zoe Harein: This was the perfect venue for our wedding! The food was incredible, the staff from Mintahoe Catering was amazing! Highly recommend.
Ping Wang: Ah the most beautiful place for rowing, getting married, hosting events. What other place can beat this place in the middle of the Mississippi, on the raspberry island, next to the Harriet island. The boat club has 151 years of rowing history on the Mississippi

Cheyenne Russell: I had my wedding here on December 21st. My guests had a great time and couldn't stop talking about how amazing the food was, especially the cake. The catering for this location is through Mintahoe, and it is well worth it. The guests also loved the boat club itself. They thought it was beautiful and perfect for our small wedding.All of the staff was wonderful. I have to mention Raul. He is such a fun person and really stood out to me and my husband. He went out of his way to talk with us and made sure we didn't forget our cake.Katie is the event coordinator and she was so helpful and friendly. She went out of her way to make sure everything was perfect. I couldn't imagine having my wedding reception anywhere else!-Cheyenne Russell
