7th St. Entry: what do users think?

Amelia Jo: Wonderful small venue off the side if First Ave. Great for intimate shows and smaller acts. Been some great names here recently!

Alecia Sullivan: What a cool little venue. You can get up close and personal with your favorite artist. It is very cozy and has limited seating.

Randy Anderson: Fun and awesome

Devon: Very cute intimate vibes. Reeked of weed but I'm sure that depends on the show that night...

Alexis Johnson: I had the honor of seeing powfu, my favorite new artist, here last Monday. It's a small venue so everybody gets to be close to the stage. Being so close to my favorite artist was such a cool experience. They have a little bar in the back, along with some places to sit. I would highly recommend this venue if an artist you like is performing here.

Will Mische: Wow. Great little venue to get 20 dollar Tix and chill.

Michael Hayden: Great space for a good time and a great tasting smooth moving eccentric crowd Staff & menu so I wil be returning soon...MahaloVery Enjoyable and Affordable@¿@

Shawn Johnson: It was a really nice venue for underground trap rap. Great view and comfy size. Doesn't get over packed.

Brittany: Great intimate venue to catch some smaller artists.

Allissa Anderson: Small intimate venue. front row experience from any spot in the venue

Jenn Jones: Intimate venue perfect for seeing any artist up close and personal. Places to sit and a dance floor. Bar inside. Great beer selection. Great sound quality. Restaurant next door makes for an easy date night.

Bradley Service: this venue is a cozy classic.

Noah Raisanen: Super fun little venue. It's got the First Ave quality of service, sound, security, but the feeling of a house show.

The Armory: what do users think?

Jeremy Hop: The venue is beautiful inside and out. The acoustics inside l, amazing and hands down the best mid sized venue downtown Mpls.

Dawn Roggenkamp: great venue

Pat Goff: are set up well. Great security at entrance.. big parking ramp nearby. Don’t hesitate to see a show here!

j w: Amazing venue that always provides incredible experiences for its patrons!!! 10/10 experience and would highly recommend everyone attend an event here!

Prateek Trivedi: One of the larger indoor live music venue in twin cities. Pretty central in downtown Minneapolis with a few parking lots around. Great acoustics and overall feel. Plenty of bars around and clean rest roomsI attended Judas Priest show to a packed venue but never felt overcrowded except of the front - which is naturalI did not avail balcony/vip areas so cannot pass any feedback.Overall one of the nicer live music venue.

benjamin sande: It was alright, it was hot and there was nowhere to sit and sabaton only played 8 songs

Nathan Kittock: and the bathroom are clean and modern. Staff are friendly and organized. I'll definitely be going to more events here.

David Dittmer: My wife and I went to see Judas Priest and Sabaton here on Thursday, May 2nd. Had a club box right over the stage. The service and experience was top notch. We would certainly go to a concert again here.

Katie: Amazing experience!

Molly Fjetland: Such a great concert experience 😍

Michael Athman: Awesome concert venue!!!

Carl Wainman: Excellent venue, would recommend

Tony Senf: Got in line couple hours before doors opened and had awesome night

Adam Mitchell: The venue itself is quite larger and well ventilated with A/C to make your concert going experience better. It is located in downtown Minneapolis so navigating your way around may be difficult if you're not a local and parking can be scarce so plan ahead and try to prepay for parking when getting your tickets

Leo G: Great venue! Awesome sound and lighting!

james Lenthe: Awesome music venue. I will do more concerts here

Ms. Mercy: 10/10 experience every time I come here for a concert! I like that it feels like a big party since we’re all just standing around!

Peighton Lelonek: Great place for a concert

Bull Snark: The Concert itself was great! The only feedback I have, Is maybe having a gate Around all the early entry people In the future. I spent a lot of money for a meeting great with early entry so we can get a front spot But when the general admission people came in Somehow Between the beginning and the middle of the show They nudged their way in front of us.

Jeffrey Meade: Great place great staff. No bags were allowed but luckily I was able to coat check my camel pack and they did have easy access to cold water which was nice

Tiffany Sonterre: Saw Daniel Sloss. Venue is beautiful, fun show!

Pantages Theatre: what do users think?

Garrett Lesnar: Amazing venue, as far as acoustics go!

Mutha Fuqua: I think it's a beautiful theatre, but a bit on the small side. Otherwise quite lovely and accommodating.

Human Bean: Beautiful building, good sound for Colin Hay performance. The bar/beverage vender closes really early, so plan accordingly.

Gary Myers: Great place for live music. Small theater, so all the seats are good. The acoustics are near perfect as well. Went to see Brian Culbertson's Trilogy tour. BC burned the house down.

Loisann Kuiper: Beautiful atmosphere, show was wonderful..Menopause

Mary S: We saw Menopause, the Musical. We sat in the 4th row, on the aisle of the center floor section. The seats are not off-set at all, so I was looking right at the head of the person in front of me. It was also a little too close to the stage, I couldn't really see the actors' feet, and this show talked about their shoes. I would recommend sitting a little farther back. The show was good.

First Avenue: what do users think?

Danielle P: This was a drive by visit, and I took a few pics... would love one day to actually go to a concert at this location. First Avenue is Minneapolis' historic nightclub, made famous by Prince's Purple Rain shot in 1983.First Avenue opened in a former Greyhound Bus terminal in downtown Minneapolis on April 3, 1970. Originally called The Depot, the club brought in prominent national acts. Prince often performed at First Avenue along with other popular artist.Don't forget to see the gold Prince star on the outside of building. Silver stars commemorated key artists who had played at First Avenue. Prince Rogers Nelson died of on April 21, 2016. Its worth a stop if you get a chance to visit Minneapolis.

The Cedar Cultural Center: what do users think?

Fred Reininger: I've learned to love smaller concert venues. This would be one of them. The sound quality is always better and you're not stuck in a massive crowd. It was quite a while back but I got to see The Church perform here. I've been to many of their shows. But the high point of show was running into the band and having a cigarette with them outside. Love the smaller venues. Parking with a bit of a hassle but it was well worth it.

Nancy Spooner-Walsh: Wonderful venue. Parking makes me nervous as a female.

Dawn McDonald: Great musical. Loved it! George Meiles is such a a creative artist!

Mackenzie Lageson: .In my relatively brief time in Minneapolis, the Cedar has come to represent something beautiful in my life. A venue that feels somewhat like a holy place, and a regular source of inspiration.

Tony Gawarecki: Saw alash. Tuvan throat singing. Amazing performance. 10/10.

Karen Folman: A wonderful venue with a captivated audience and a wide variety of local and traveling artists. We never walk away disappointed.

K Swanson-Wikelius (piranhaofsteel): Went to support a friend with the Prairie Fire Ladies Choir for their last show of the year. I'd never been to this place before, but everyone was friendly and the show was great!

J P: Each and every single employee there is simply amazing. I needed accomodations, and they never made me feel uncomfortable about that. The sound is great, bathrooms are very clean, safe, and monitored. You can park really easily on the street, or the nearby parking garages.A+ venue.Since the event, I have also heard the artists' comment on what a great venue this was, and how accomodating all of the staff was to them also.

tony Smith: My absolute favorite venue in the twin cities. Wasn't rail, it's there. Need to sit, head upstairs. Perfect size for so many shows.

Tyler Verding: Great food, cool set up, good music, great service. All around a fantastic experience, will be back for sure!

Jay Smelkinson: This was my first time at this venue. It's a very chill place with everyone sitting down to watch the show. The food was good, especially the broccolini. I sat in the upstairs and had a great view of the stage.

Billy Cripe: The music was great. View from the back of the 2nd floor was restricted so be aware of that. They seemed understaffed because service was very slow.

Colin Monette: If you want to experience what every good big city should have at least one of, a great curated jazz club, check the Dakota. The ambiance is dimly lit and cool. Bit of highbrow, classy. It’s dinner and a show and it attracts world class performers alike.

Noby Powell: Great food and music! Intimate venue.

Palace Theatre: what do users think?

C J: Great place to see a concert. Close parking, good sound technicians and lovely atmosphere lead to very enjoyable shows.Lots of nearby food and breweries to enjoy before the show.

Doug Duwenhoegger: The Palace is a great live music venue. Great sight lines from the GA Main floor and a balcony with reserved seating. The sound is great. Perfectly mixed.Sometimes Wrecktangle Pizza next door has 241s after the shows.

Benjamin Staehlin: Venue is good, sound is good, always takes 30+ minutes to get in the door.

David Flynn: Really fun spot to see a standing room concert.

Kevin Nunn: Great location, good acoustics. After the $15m renovation it looks like an ancient Greece restoration with exposed "bones", but that's what gives it character and makes it different from all other theaters I've been to.

Crooners Supper Club: what do users think?

DD C: Was there for the music and not really the food.

Elisa Lobo Neese: We had great fun coming here for the first time. Diego Figueiredo, the Brazilian acoustic guitar master had a marvelous solo concert. He’s so talented! We ordered the French dip and the Grain& Greens salad. Both were good as was the service.

Linda McLoon: It is hard to write a review of a jazz club. Live music is almost always fun, and I like jazz. The main woman was very good. In fact, all the live music I have heard here was good and fun. So this place is great on the music. The food is typical supper club middle America. That is not necessarily bad, as some of it, like the beef sliders, is very good. The rest is fine. The cocktails on their menu are all way, way too sweet. Order your own or do what I did, and have some bubbly. The cheesecake was fine, smooth and rich. The carrot cake was not to my taste, as it was dry, the frosting way too sweet, and the clove flavor was too strong. So, the food is uneven. The service was great, very attentive. So a 5 for music, a 3 for food. We always go with friends, and that makes any evening out fun! They have a large parking lot, which is nice.

Karie Merkwan: Great service, excellent food, and wonderful music!

Linda Rooney: Food, drinks and service fantastic!! Music spectacular!

Jeremy Baker: , it sounds like a great place to play as a musician. Gotta check it out!

Minnesota State Fair: what do users think?

P W: Wear comfortable shoes! Come hungry. Bring patience and antacid tablets. And plenty of money.Great fun!

Ed O-K: Great place to get together with friends or family.

Chelsea Pacheco: Very good rides and very good service

Angeline Gard: The best fair in the United States! So much fun and food in one place! If you’ve never gone, it’s a must do!

Parrothead Chris: Best Fair in the country hands down. The food is amazing

Emma Crow: Lines for bathroom were a little long Ye old mill was great great time with grand kids

d Davis: all looking for parking, entertainment, food, drink and the bathroom. It’s an adventure everyone should experience at least once as for the most part it’s the same year in and year out. Imagine a slow moving heard or sheep with the sounds of 10, 000 people talking at one time. Mix in some food from all over our little world. Throw in some beer, lemonade and soda pop. Sprinkle some B.O., farts and bad breath and that’s when MSF’s is officially that little town. By day it has a touristy feel with family’s holding maps trying to do as much as they can with the time they have. At night it has the feel of a John Hughes movie going for an R rating. Hundreds of teenagers find their way to Minnesotas largest baby sitter with the words “stay out of trouble” still echoing in the head. Wide eyed with that grin that says they love this ‘sitter’ because they can do what ever they want and maybe be that person their parents tell them not to be.During the MSF’s off season you don’t need much of a plan. During the fair the people watching is top notch but you soon will realize those that had no game plan coming in. Haggard, exhausted, bloated, sunburnt, dehydrated, lost and angry. You can see and feel it their time to go home eyes. So have a plan. Pick an off day if you can. Be prepared for lines for everything. Shift into your low gear and merge right cause it will be an all day human traffic jam with the usual clowns making it more difficult for everyone around. To sum it up…..Be a good human and the Minnesota State Fairgrounds will treat you alright!

HiFi Hair and Records: what do users think?

J H: I called right as they opened and John scheduled me his last appointment for the day. He had been there for 9 hours before my appointment and took his time to give me a super sick haircut. He didn't rush it, he gave me what I had asked for and customized the cut to make it perfect for my hairs needs. *I have a ton of super curly thick hair so if you're looking for a place you can trust with your curls look no further* I'm a stylist myself so I haven't been into a new salon or gotten a cut from someone I didn't work with or already know In 12 years. I'm so happy with my new look and it feels amazing, will definitely be back next time! Thanks HiFi you made my day!

David Eckstrom: Wild

Anna SCHUTZ: Blonde is what I was going for and that's what he gave me. Thank you for being so awesome, friendly and enjoyable. Love the shop, great conversation starters all around

Elle Poehner: I just moved to the area and was looking for a new hair dresser. This salon was such a wonderful experience! They put lots of care into my hair and I left with one of the best styles I've ever gotten! I highly recommend them.

Rob G: Great cut, Jonny is the man!

A Granheim: Ok, if you want to go to the raddest salon and record store in the world, go here. John is one of the best humans I've ever met. He is fun to talk to, and you never know who you'll see stroll into the shop while you're there. Make sure to check out the bathroom! It's so cool!

mark walztoni: It's the coolest place to get a cool haircut and a record of two!

Harvey Andruss: Jonny's the best.

Thomas Beiersdorf: Always a great haircut and fun time talking about music and life.

Steven Wolf: Greatest Salon/Record store in the world! Jon is love!

Brian Takle: Really fun track with gambling, horse racing, decent bars, events, and sometimes even music.

Sandy: Junk Bonanza is the best 😁

Scott McCann: Great place, Super fun. Horse racing, a plethora of card games, and awesome summer concerts. You can't go wrong.

Mike Schadeck: Canterbury is a great place to bring the kids and have a great day. It's also perfect for adults and their friends. The races with dogs, ostrich and others are hilarious. Good food, drinks and company. Just give it a try!

Danielle Creswick: It's always fun to go to events at Canterbury. Whether they are hosting an arts and crafts fair, or a miniature train convention, they have a good variety of local craftspeople and keep the flow moving. My favorite part of this craft fair was seeing a group of people speaking sign language with one of the vendors without needing interpreters. I wish I'd caught the vendor's name, but a hat tip nonetheless! Another example of the diversity of vendors at the event.

Ramon Dominguez: Good for beginners
