Michael Dettling: The Spanish Learning Club is the best. I’ve taken on-line classes for the last couple of years and having taught English myself to non-native speakers, I know how difficult it can be, especially trying to learn on-line. But the teacher makes it easy and I highly recommend The Spanish Learning Club.
Justin Watts: Have been learning spanish with TSLC for about a year. Really fun and helpful atmosphere to learn with a group at any age. Giancarlo is a great teacher too, which helps a lot to have a positive atmosphere while learning. After working through lesson plans to understand the basics, the class continues to be helpful by practicing through conversations, presenting on small topics, vocabulary games as a group, etc. Pratice, practice, practice!
Ellen S: Hola! I started learning Spanish with The Spanish Learning Club as an absolute beginner. Desiring a different approach than the traditional textbook/language institute experience, I discovered The SLC. I have learned so much language and culture in two short years and have had a blast in the process. My teacher, Juany, is enthusiastic, fun, and dedicated to her students' learning. It is extra cool that she lives in Mexico! Zoom has its advantages!

TEJASVI MONDRETI: Learning a new language is always fun, but not so easy. One needs a good teacher to learn it the right way. Giancarlo offered me good learnings, that are very foundational. Annie D: My son was in first grade at an immersion school, where they don’t start teaching English reading and writing until 2nd grade. Even though I know he will get plenty of instruction next year, I really wanted to make sure he was up to grade level with his reading. Sylvan Highland has been wonderful, and he’s progressing faster than I even thought possible. The tutors are all very patient, and great at getting him engaged, even when he’s frustrated or tired. But the more he attends Sylvan, the more comfortable he is with reading and the more motivated he is to learn. He’s actually excited to go to “reading lessons” now! I’m very happy with his progress, and feel much better knowing he will be on par or ahead of his class in reading going forward.
Heidi Landon: Teachers are knowledgeable of current course work, they provide students with one on one teaching, they communicate directly with the student's teachers, and help track due dates on assignments. They are flexible in scheduling and Sarah the director is absolutely fabulous. She will treat your student like her own, and this attitude spreads to all the staff. 100% recommend.

Eric Kraus: When I first started self-learning Chinese, I was struggling with too much unstructured content available on websites and mobile apps. After starting regular lessons with Luke, I was able to develop a structure that saw measurable improvements in my progress. I am so glad I found Luke to help me with my goal of learning Chinese. He listened to my specific needs/interests upfront and now tailors our lessons to my goals. He's got a great set of tools to help anyone learn Mandarin Chinese, including a wide range of videos, online flash cards, and his own video tutorials explaining some of the intricacies of the grammar and language structure. Something that I really liked was that Luke was always checking in to see how I felt the lessons were going and that I was getting what I felt I needed out of the lessons. I highly recommend him to anyone looking to either improve their speaking or writing abilities or who want to learn Chinese for the first time.

Allen Theisen: Luke is an excellent teacher; consistent, patient, and matches the student's ability and pace well. I'm amazed at how fast my son is learning Chinese and think Luke's use of different media, technology and immersive style of teaching have been wonderful for a young child.
Amy Lynn Sullivan: Luke is a great mentor and facilitator for learning Mandarin, matching your style of learning - allowing you room to learn and giving individualized challenges. He has excellent recommendations for different resources of extra tools that will help you study. He's super flexible, fun, personable and has been a huge help to me learning Mandarin. Every lesson I come away inspired to use what I've learned and push myself to work harder. Just returning from a trip to China, I was able to use a lot of what I learned from my lessons with Luke to speak, read, listen and understand native speakers.
