Cannabis diary of a vegan: I’ve been with the program for about 4 months, I was down with little financial support and resources for my baby, this program really helped me with diapers , skills and resources to maintain for myself and my child. I would highly recommend this program to anyone needing support with mental and financial help !

Christopher Waller: They offer free ultrasounds and STD testing. They also have free adoption resources and parenting resources. They aren't trying to pressure or coerce women, contrary to some of the other reviews. They will be honest about their beliefs and respectful of yours wherever those beliefs may differ.

And they couldn't guarantee I could be seen, and their next appointment that fit my work schedule was a week away. So I'm sitting there in the waiting room having a minor panic attack
Melissa: Great experience here. I was nervous from past experiences but the staff is lovely. Tyler at the front desk provided great customer service, the medical staff are well trained and kind. They had a program that completely covered my visit! If you are in need of care definitely consider planned parenthood, so happy this organization exists.

Angela Campos: I had my first child with MBC and just had my second. I have always been happy with the care I receive at MBC with yearly check-ups, pre- and post-natal visits, etc. I am especially happy with my last birth that happened there. I felt like it went as smoothly as it could have gone. The team worked well together and with my doula to make it a positive experience. I know I was in good hands with a knowledgeable and attentive midwife for this birth. She had a good vibe where I knew that she was making sure everything was going okay without being dismissive or alarmist, which is a hard balance to find in a medical provider. For context, I have found 2-3 medical providers in all of my years on this earth that fit that profile. I am appreciative for all of the care I've received at MBC and hope to see others continuing to receive care with them.Thanks Midwife Brieana and Nurse Amanda for such a positive birth experience!
AlissaJosiah Krause: What a redemptive experience for our 2nd birth. Our first was a hospital birth and there are many things I wish had looked differently. Switching care to the MN birth center midway through my 2nd pregnancy was the best decision for our family. I felt so cared for and listened to. I felt baby and me were both monitored adequately but also encouraged to trust my body. Only regret not having my first born at the birth center!
Selamawit Shannon-Tamrat: Giving birth is hard itself, Minnesota birth center have amazing team. MBC staff made my husband and I safely, security and confidence that everything is gonna be okay. I have amazing daughter who is currently about to be two and half years old and Minnesota birth center staff checked on me often. I for sure recommend for anyone who is willing, doesn’t have medical complications or can do natural birth. Also do what is best for you and your children and your family.
Ashley Galbreth: Just had my 5th baby with the Minnesota Birth Center! I had my first 3 with MBC but my 4th was with an OB due to insurance reasons. Never again with an OB! The midwives are so empowering, yet thorough. We opted to switch insurance amd pay more out of pocket to deliver baby #5 at the birth center. Not to mention the longer drive! It is worth every penny to have a peace of mind about your labor and delivery experience, we love the MN birth Center and we need more of them in the northern suburbs! I would also like to add that I am a previous labor and delivery nurse and the staff here were all very competent!
Rachel Doocy: I decided I wanted to do a birth center instead of the "traditional" route.I successfully had my first baby at MBC Minneapolis and I absolutely LOVED my experience from the time I transferred my care at 13 weeks, to my last appointment postpartum. Their values and practices of patient care lined up much more with what I wanted my for my birth. I felt safe, heard, and supported the entire time. I will absolutely be returning for all of my future children! Also, WAY cheaper than the hospital for me. I didn't even hit my $4,000 deducible for the year!
Anna H: Had my first OB appointment last week transferred from hospital care. Walking into the birth center was like a breath of fresh air. As an advanced practice nurse myself it was so nice to have open supportive conversations. Instead of being aggressively told what I wanted at my hospital visits. I loved the midwife I saw Brittany Steven, seriously loved her! She printed out medical informative articles and listened to me as I processed decisions. I couldn’t recommend the birth center more. They always ask for permission before taking your blood pressure or before performing any care. I can’t wait for my next appointment. What a delightful model of care. Finally at 28 weeks I am able to feel empowered and supported on this pregnancy journey!
Heidi Guenther: The Minnesota Birth Center is truly the best.I have now used the birth center through four pregnancies and three births, which were all very different situations with different needs. Each time I was 100% confident every step of the way that my babies and I were in good hands with experienced, knowledgeable midwives who prioritized our health and safety as well as my values and desires for the birth. With each birth I'm able to look back and feel good about the process and experience, knowing that we got the best possible care and had the best possible outcomes, all in a gentle, positive, empowering environment. They made me feel at home the moment I walked in the door. The staff went above and beyond to give me the support I needed. When I faced several complications during pregnancy, they offered information and experience, while still letting me make my own choices. My birth experience was empowering and magical, and I couldn’t have done it without MBC staff. I would hands down recommend MBC to any expecting mamas out there.

The care the midwives provided before, during and after my births is beyond incredible. They take time to get to know you and your preferences and it is obvious they care deeply and passionately about their work and about all the women and babies who entrust their care to them. During both my births, the midwives and nurses knew just what to do to support me and my husband, both letting my body do it's thing on its own, but also giving helpful suggestions to move things along. I can't say enough good things about MBC and highly recommend them!

Krystal Perry: I came here back in 2014 wonderful people, they helped me with car seat stroller, crib, parenting classes were I earned points to shop for brand new baby clothes, books and toys. I'm now 29 weeks pregnant and I came back they remembered not only me but my son its one of the BEST resource centers in Minneapolis. They are extremely knowledgeable in their practice, every appointment leading up to birth I felt heard and respected. I had two beautiful births there and was given space to listen to my body and follow my own timeframe. Cortney Kincaid: I transferred care here at 34 or 35 weeks pregnant with my second child. I am so lucky they took me in, as I was hoping for a vbac! Every midwife was so kind and thoughtful. No appointment felt rushed and I felt listened to. The whole team here really show care and kindness and support. I had my successfully vbac with an amazing team and when I got pregnant with my third had the most beautiful water birth. I'm now pregnant again and so looking forward to starting appointments! I’ve been going here a couple years now and sometimes they’ll be overbooked or they have no one to see me at my scheduled time. Those are the only down sides that become hassles. Otherwise I’ve been in an out pretty quick for my birth control and haven't had any other problems!
Emily Butler: I had my IUD removed here today and it went so smoothly. I had it inserted somewhere else and the experience was honestly traumatizing- it was very painful and triggered a fainting response, and the doctor there couldn't have cared less. Needless to say I went into this visit very nervous, but PP was amazing. They gave me some advice on what to do ahead of time to reduce the potential for a reaction. During the procedure, the doctor went slow and talked me through the whole thing, checking on me regularly. I didn't have any reaction this time, and while it definitely wasn't the most fun part of my day, they made it manageable. I so appreciate PP and all they do.

Loe Lee: in medicine. For me, the Mother Baby Center at Abbott has only been stories going right.I've had three babies here and all were incredibly different experiences. The last one was exceptional when it came to patient care. The Anesthesiologist, Dr. Muellerleile, listened intently before my cesarean. When I told him about past experiences, he validated them, took the time to explain what may have happened, and worked with me to make a plan that addressed my concerns. Pa Lee: My husband and I, plus family members who came to visit absolutely loved this place so much. It wasn’t our first choice but since Regions was full, we were sent here. Here I went through a traumatic experience of being induced to having a c-section because it is my first time having a child. However, with the help of the nurses and doctors who were there, they made everything even better. Everyone was so calm and patient and sweet. They even took care of me and my baby so well.Something I do regret though is not remembering this one nurse’s name as she was such a sweet person. Allison Schedin: I had a stellar experience giving birth to my twins here. I stayed for 5 days, and everyone from the admitting receptionist to the discharging nurse was so kind and helpful. Our nurses Bailey and Holly in particular became special to us, treating us parents with such care as well as our babies. The food was also awesome, surprisingly - you can order to your room from a big menu, it all tasted good, and it's really cheap even for guests.
Carlye Lottman: If I could give this place a million stars I would, I wish all these nurses could get a raise. The amount of happiness I had during my time here is unexplainable. The first nurse I had when I went in when I had to be induced was Ursula. She is an amazing person and nurse and talked me through everything and made sure I was comfortable. Unfortunately I had to get a c section & the nurses who went with me to get my c section were just as amazing. All these girls are so wonderful and I’m so glad I had the amazing birth experience I had. Makes me very thankful to meet these beautiful women and litterly just puts tears to my eyes cause how thankful I am. They are truly one of a kind! Please if you ever are pregnant, please deliver here!

A N: I had a very quick & scary birth last Dec. the nurses by my side were literal angels. Holding my hand through the entire 30min labor while I am bleeding & having a very early baby. To say that I knew that they cared not only for me but my baby would be an understatement. Shadarra Strange: Went looking for an ultrasound so my boyfriend could see the baby and found this gem! Amazing amazing service. Not only did they do the ultrasound but they gave myself and my boyfriend resources that will help throughout the pregnancy. They do life coaching and dad coaching which we plan to take advantage of! I went there when i first found out i was pregnant and they help me all the way through my pregnancy. Having been told to terminate my pregnancy they where there to help me stand strong in my beliefs. They didnt tell me what to do but gave me tools to always figure out what was best for me. I always feel loved and welcomed there they have become my family. They are great women and i would absolutely no doubt recomend anyone who is pregnant to go they coach you and you learn so much about the baby but also discove so much more about yourself to. Ari Amore: They are always happy to help you here and assist with the things you need. I came here when I first found out I was pregnant they offer a program to earn a playyard, crib or travel system I did my 8hrs and earned my travel system I even got to tell them the colors I wanted and was very pleased with the one they selected for my babygirl. At that time I was struggling with personal stuff going on in my life and they helped me feel better by talking about it and trying to help me, help myself. I continue going there even though I had my baby and finished my 8hrs of classes. My life coach is awesome I enjoy going there chatting and opening up pretty much about anything and everything. They even have a closet you can pick out clothes for your baby as well as they givr you diapers and wipes once a month which truly helps. I wish they would be open on some weekends though because I get anxious to go back and waitin until the week through the weekend I want to discuss stuff with my life coach. They don't tell you what you should do or how to do it they help you discover yourself and how you can better your situation and meet your needs. I'm grateful for finding this place and everything they have helped me achieve and just being great friends almost like a family away from family. If you find yourself lost in the dark and need a light to see this is the place.

kim stasica: My appointment was right on time. Receptionist was knowledgeable and quick getting me checked in. The nurse Lindsay was very kind and listened to what I was feeling. She was very supportive the whole time. This was the most painful experience of my life though. Not only emotionally but physically as well. I only opted for the mild sedation which was a mistake. I wish I would have done the moderate level. Bonnie, the volunteer in the procedure room was amazing. Im so glad she was there! After the procedure I did not recover well. Was very warm, couldn't hear or see and was in terrible pain. The nurses did what they could to get me to feel better considering the circumstances. I would recommend this place to anyone going through the same thing.
Amanda Bradley: From start to finish my experience here was everything I could’ve asked for. I had previously gone to 2 other clinics before coming here and did not have good experiences and I would definitely recommend this clinic. The staff was so friendly and comforting. The wait time was pretty long but I was informed of that prior to the appointment but they gave me snacks and juice and I was able to wait in my own private area and they made sure I was comfortable the whole time.

Cailey Luehrs: . My prenatal care was hands down the best care I’ve ever received. I went to an OB at a clinic for the first 20 weeks with my first pregnancy and transferring my care to the birth center was the best decision ever! I felt like my voice can be heard here and my wishes and opinions surrounding labor & delivery were supported.When I had my second baby in August 2023, I did end up needing to be transferred to United by ambulance after delivery due to bleeding. The midwives acted fast and stayed calm during the whole process! I never felt worried or that they weren’t handling things for my best interest. My midwife rode in the ambulance with me and advocated for me while at the hospital. Although transfers are rare, they do happen. It was out of my control and I will still will continue to go back to the birth center for my future pregnancies.Thank you to everyone at TCBC for loving and caring for every woman who walks in the door. Nobody could ever receive the same support somewhere else!

Natabulous: Had our birth here on 2023 and couldn't have asked for better care. Very peaceful environment overall. The tub they have is massive and you could just float if needed, this seemed to help me alot in labor. Prenatal care was great as well, we discussed that I wanted a hands off labor and I was so happy to not be poked and prodded every 30mins like they do in hospital. Small complication with bleeding but that was taken care of well and we got to go home. Thank you for being available to those that don't want to be in hospital 🙏
Madison Zeise: I loved their required classes before giving birth, daddies are encouraged to join. Was able to have a natural birth here and loved my experience. I gave birth and then snuggled my baby in a calm, dimly lit room on a real bed. I'm hoping to birth my second child here, using the tub, if I have time. They had us leave within 4 hours after giving birth, which made sense. They love babies and support moms throughout pregnancy. They offer resources to help prepare us for postpartum as well as breastfeeding. They have a $50 doula option as well for birth. I had a doula show up the night of and during birth and was more helpful than I imagined. Love love love.

From touring, to all prenatal care, to delivery, to postpartum, the service and care provided has been nothing short of 5 star. Ashley is amazing at her job, is so helpful and kind, and very organized! Katy in billing is also very organized, helpful and kind. Taylor is a fantastic nurse, incredibly knowledgeable, helpful and kind. All the midwives were superb. The whole staff truly prioritizes informed consent and patient care. I never felt rushed at appointments and always felt very heard. They always gave great explanations of care being offered so that we could make the best choice for our family. I never knew labor could be such a wonderful experience until I delivered here. The nurses, midwives, and students were all so encouraging and empowering. I truly felt I could trust my body to bring this baby earth side. I highly recommend the birth center!!
Amanda Baugh-Buys: . I could talk about anything and receive support. They believe in care of the whole woman; if she is growing a baby her health will direct the baby's. Their lactation consultant Jayme Jo is the reason I have had a successful breastfeeding journey. She always had multiple tips and tricks to help me get beyond any hurdle I came upon. If you are in need of support I HIGHLY RECOMMEND reaching out. She is wonderful. My most recent birth in June of 2022 was nothing short of magical and I have to give props to the amazing team at TCBC. They listened and responded to my needs. The tub was ever bit as amazing as I imagined and I was able to bring my baby earth-siade in the water as planned. I felt safe and supported throughout my entire labor and immediate postpartum period. I am sad that I am done having babies since they are all so lovely and I have really developed relationships with several of the nurses and midwives. I will continue to get care here for years to come.

I cannot say enough good things about the friendly, gentle spirit of the midwives and staff; the empowering birth experience in such a tranquil, supportive setting; and the high-quality, evidence-based, consent-focused care throughout pregnancy and labor. I really appreciated the doula internship program and took advantage of the low-cost doula services through that. 100% recommend TCBC to any moms looking for an unmedicated birth and truly personalized prenatal care experience - I plan to come here again with future pregnancies!

Hannah Leidall: enough! My son Riggins was born there in March & my husband and I still rave about our experience. We are forever thankful for a place that informs and educates but doesn’t force, and believes in our bodies natural ability to bring our baby into this world. During labor I had the best cheerleaders in my midwives & nurses! They recommended position changes when I was feeling stuck and I felt immense peace in their presence. When all of our post baby visits were done and I said goodbye I felt like I just left some of my newest and dearest friends in the staff there!
Blair Haesly: I had all three of my babies at Twin Cities Birth Center, and I can’t imagine going anywhere else! It is such a welcoming and calm environment, and the people there are amazing! I felt so comfortable with my care during pregnancy, during labor/delivery, after baby came, and for my annual exams. Everyone is so welcoming, and I knew I could put my trust in the midwives/nurses/staff for the health and safety of my babies and me. I highly recommend Twin Cities Birth Center!

Ally Welle: We chose TCBC for the pregnancy and birth of our first child and could not be more happy that we did. Longer appointment times allowed us to ask all of our first-time parent questions and feel confident that we were making the best informed choices for our family. We were able to meet each of the midwives during prenatal visits so they were all familiar faces when it came time for labor and birth.The labor and birth process was incredible. I felt supported, heard, and confident that they knew my birth plan and would do what they could to facilitate it. I felt safe the whole way through labor and was able to deliver our baby in the water birth tub which was what I had hoped for. The birth suites themselves are spacious, homey, and calm. My husband and our families whom we shared pictures with were blown away by how serene the birth space looked.For postpartum care, we were able to stay a few hours to be checked-up on, and then went home that same night. Sleeping in our own bed after laboring all day was absolutely perfect and such a gift. Lastly, having 24/7 access to be able to call the midwives and speak directly to a provider was so reassuring and we were able to meet with a lactation consultant multiple times in the first weeks to make sure that we were confident in our plan to feed our baby.Overall, I cannot recommend the care here enough. They have informational tours that I would recommend anyone take just to talk about your health history, whether a birth center is the right fit for you, and what care at a birth center looks like compared to a hospital.
Elizabeth Bartley: I have nothing but great things to say about Health Foundations. I'm 37 weeks pregnant, so I haven't yet delivered there, but my care up until this point has been great. They really make me feel respected and valued and cared for and all the midwives and nurses are amazing. I probably interact with Ashley at the front desk the most. She is always super friendly in a genuine way but at the same time professional. I always look forward to going in and saying hello to her and she makes booking appointments and taking payments so simple. Katie in billing has also been super helpful and the time she's taken to help me understand costs and my insurance has been unexpectedly effective. I don't think I'd get that level of help elsewhere. Any time I've emailed with questions from "can I take this protein powder" to anything more serious, I've gotten responses quickly from their nurses. I've had to page a midwife one time on a weekend and received a call back within 2-3 minutes. I have so much confidence in my labor and delivery with them and feel confident in myself and empowered because of my experience so far.

Heather Boone: I’ve gone here twice now for lab draws and have gotten the same lady. I got in and out very quickly. Usually I’m a pretty difficult poke but both times she was able to get blood on the first try with no hesitation and very little bruising. She was chatty and friendly which helped distract me and put my mind at ease. Would definitely recommend for blood draws!

Talee Yang: It was a great first experience. I came here for pre-employment drug screening in the morning. I probably came at a time when it wasn’t busy because I walked in and out quickly. The process was fast and easy. It probably took less than 20 minutes for the whole process. The two workers I met there were also very nice and helpful. I liked how they have a touch pad for checking in and they also were following COVID safety measures with 6ft apart chairs in the waiting room. However, be aware that it can get crowded because their waiting room is small. There’s a hall outside the waiting room too if it gets crowded.
Allison Schedin: They had a handy kiosk to check yourself in, which offered the nice option of waiting outside and getting a text when they were ready to take you back. It's a pretty small office and the employees seemed a bit stressed, but for totally understandable reasons considering the pandemic. Make sure to wear a mask when you come.
