Everyday Miracles: what do users think?

Amanda Cao: Took almost all of the prenatal classes offered. All were free/low cost due to my Medicaid. Welcoming environment and staff!!

Kari Marden: Skilled🍃wise🍃profession 🍃friendly

Jeanette Garcia: Every day miracle is such a helpful place from car seats to doula to chiropractic.Dr Kelsey is the best chiropractor I've ever been to, wonderful hands compassionate heart.Got my baby's car seat there they brought it over to my house. Genoveva best doula so prepared for any thing you need compassionate, full of information. Love this place.

Jaime Delzer: It gave both my husband and I so much confidence. After this class, things started to feel much more "real" with our pregnancy, but we also started to have a lot more fun... We had really needed to connect and share experiences with other parents-to-be and to have some help knowing what to expect. We got that and had a blast doing it!Have since taken advantage of some of the other classes and offerings - Everyday Miracles is such a great resource for our community! Clearly, there is a lot of love and passion going into this organization from a group of powerful, intelligent women.

C Johnson: Can’t speak highly enough about our experience with one of their Doulas, Abby. She was punctual and prepared for all of our appointments and helped inform us of our birthing options. When it came time to deliver the baby, Abby stayed with us for nearly 24 hours at the hospital and provided great support throughout the process of labor. Worth every penny and would highly recommend Abby for all of your doula needs. Also great to know that the organization provides support for those who otherwise could not afford a doula. Everyone should have the option of using a doula for the birth experience because it was so helpful.

Tori Hensley: Love love looooove Everyday Miracles! This organization truly cares about offering affordable prenatal education, doulas, and yoga for all mommas to be regardless of their income! I have personally benefitted from yoga class taught by Cheyenne and Melissa and their prenatal education. I am so grateful for this organization and their dedication to serving mothers in MN.

Anon Anon: As a first time mom, there are so many unknowns. The doulas are excellent teachers and help guide and coach new mommies with no judgment or expectations. I would definitely recommend them to any mommies.

Caitlin Nelson: My spouse and I did the Lamaze Crash Course and loved it! Great instructor, useful information and logical flow to the class. We left feeling much more informed and prepared.

Bryce Hutchings: Kelsey Lloyd is AMAZING! I was shocked at how much progress I had made after one visit.

Charlie Foust: Everyday Miracles is a comprehensive resource for birthing families. From doula care to childbirth education and wellness care to group support- if you are having a baby, you need to be here. Conveniently located in NE Mpls!!

Braden Peltier: Kelsey Lloyd is the best chiropractor I've been to!! & FYI you don't have to be pregnant or a woman...

Amma Parenting Personal & Virtual Childbirth Classes: what do users think?

Jud Herrig: The infant CPR course was good but seemed out of order a bit. It would have been good to start with checking for obvious choking hazard. Instead he jumped into doing compressions to start. Also there was a good bit of time spent on adult and older child CPR which is fine, but that is not the course title. Regardless, we definitely learned better than watching videos. Appreciated not just watching videos in class and the engagement and enthusiasm by instructor.

Lindsey McDermott: This was one of the best decisions I made during maternity leave. It was wonderful to connect with fellow moms on similar journeys. I also appreciated that the courses were differentiated: I was in a Second Time Mama group. We all also had toddlers. Our instructor was warm and knowledgeable. It was the highlight of our week! We also met up once a week outside of class. I have t been this social in years.

Elizabeth Ullyot: I took the Amma New Parent class with Shana after the birth of my daughter and I'm SO glad I did! This was a non-judgmental space where we could talk about anything and everything we wonder about as new moms. It was much more of a conversation than a typical "class," which I loved. I got to know the other moms and their babies and they will continue to be part of my "village" - I can't stress how important it is to have a village in this stage of life! I gained so much confidence by taking this class and connecting with other new moms, it was time and money VERY well spent. I HIGHLY recommend this class to any and all new moms - Shana is an incredible instructor/moderator and my class all LOVED her, so sign up for her class if you can!

Aldon Severson: made what we were learning feel real. We feel better equipped as expecting parents than we did beforehand. My only critique is that feeding information is 100% tailored to breastfeeding. Parents planning to bottle feed their child won't take much from that portion of the class.

Alayna Branham: These classes were so amazingly helpful. We took prenatal classes as a couple that made us feel so much more informed about birth and early parenting. I also took the new mama and beyond newborns class. These classes have been a godsend. I have built amazingly close friendships with other moms/parents. I loved every second of the classes. I cried both times the classes ended because they were so good. Highly highly recommend!

Matt Murray: We had Jodie as our All in One Express class over the last 3 weeks. She was fantastic! Extremely knowledgeable, kind and engaging. If you're looking to feel more confident in your new parenting abilities, choose Amma!

Mary L: We took the infant CPR class from Michael O’Neill and loved it! Very informational, would recommend to anyone who cares for an infant.

Kevin Overlund: We could not have asked for a better experience. Jodi was amazing and truly cared for our family. The course was very informative and Jodi made sure to ask for specific questions to cater to our groups' concerns and areas of focus. Would definitely recommend to any new or expecting parents.

Adam Bachmeier: My wife and I took the Preparing for Childbirth class. Our instructor Heidi was engaging, gave us the facts we asked for and made sure we were prepared for all the different intricacies of Childbirth. I learned a lot and feel more prepared because of Amma. I would highly recommend taking classes through Amma as a new or soon-to-be parent.

Heather Horgen: . You are supposed to meet as a group outside of class every week too, and that was probably the most valuable part. It was great for building confidence in getting out of the house, going to different types of places, feeding in public, and of course talking to the other moms. I highly recommend this class!

Laura Pechtel: - but also touched on formula-fed, didn’t make anybody feel forced to have a natural birth, and she explained things in terms we all understood, and answered all of our questions in depth. We never felt like she was rushing through anything but we were also never bored. The class did a great job explaining things through Stephanie talking through them but also with videos. The class was wonderful overall and I’m glad we waited until 33 weeks to do so because now we are even more excited and feel much more prepared and it’s fresh in our minds now.I would highly recommend this class AND Stephanie!

Caleb Stark: [Also, posted by wife, Kendall Stark]

Emily Van Cook: I wasn't sure what to expect from the Labor and Delivery class we signed up for here. I joked before hand that I signed up for my husband, that I'd done the research I needed. I was wrong, this was VERY helpful for both of us! Our instructor was very funny and clearly knew a lot about the whole process. She was kind but brutally honest. I especially enjoyed her discussion of after the birth. Most of the time we talk about the labor and delivery but not the healing that's required after. Her "walk of shame" demonstrating the walk to the bathroom after delivery, including putting on the ice pack, huge pad, mesh undies, was really a great way to make sure none of us feel alone in that experience.

Amber Ellsworth: My husband and I took the Natural Childbirth class there and I have taken a New Mama class there. Both classes were very informative and the instructors were incredibly friendly, encouraging and knowledgable! I highly recommend Amma.

The Mother Baby Center at Abbott Northwestern and Children's Minnesota: what do users think?

Justin Johnson: What a wonderful place! We are so happy we chose MBC for our first born birth. We were excellently attended the whole time, we always felt heard. Can’t say enough how much I recommend Abbott MBC and team!

Loe Lee: in medicine. For me, the Mother Baby Center at Abbott has only been stories going right.I've had three babies here and all were incredibly different experiences. The last one was exceptional when it came to patient care. The Anesthesiologist, Dr. Muellerleile, listened intently before my cesarean. When I told him about past experiences, he validated them, took the time to explain what may have happened, and worked with me to make a plan that addressed my concerns. The staff in the operating room was always in sync and my pain and comfort

Pa Lee: My husband and I, plus family members who came to visit absolutely loved this place so much. It wasn’t our first choice but since Regions was full, we were sent here. Here I went through a traumatic experience of being induced to having a c-section because it is my first time having a child. However, with the help of the nurses and doctors who were there, they made everything even better. Everyone was so calm and patient and sweet. They even took care of me and my baby so well.Something I do regret though is not remembering this one nurse’s name as she was such a sweet person. She helped me a lot and even took care of my baby very well. She also bonded with my family members to the point where we shared stuff with each other.

Noel Espinoza: We had our baby here, we’re so happy we chose The Mother Baby Center! These nurses are EXTREMELY caring, they all had a positive attitude, were polite and considerate of how stressed we could be as new parents. The ladies here are all amazing.

Nora Gyarfas: Katie from the lactation center is amazing and has great emotional support/bedside manner!

Mist: Fromolz-Brenda-RN was such an astounding nurse, she’s very sympathetic, very understanding, very calm, I can tell she loves her job. During the epidural she was reassuring me and telling me everything would be all right. I really appreciate how she was caring for me and assisting me. I am thankful.

Mostak Sani: Good hospital

Lakisha Jones: I gave birth almost 7 years ago and this was by far the best hospital ever. I'll see you guys on February 2024.

Allison Schedin: I had a stellar experience giving birth to my twins here. I stayed for 5 days, and everyone from the admitting receptionist to the discharging nurse was so kind and helpful. Our nurses Bailey and Holly in particular became special to us, treating us parents with such care as well as our babies. The food was also awesome, surprisingly - you can order to your room from a big menu, it all tasted good, and it's really cheap even for guests.

Carlye Lottman: If I could give this place a million stars I would, I wish all these nurses could get a raise. The amount of happiness I had during my time here is unexplainable. The first nurse I had when I went in when I had to be induced was Ursula. She is an amazing person and nurse and talked me through everything and made sure I was comfortable. Unfortunately I had to get a c section & the nurses who went with me to get my c section were just as amazing. All these girls are so wonderful and I’m so glad I had the amazing birth experience I had. Makes me very thankful to meet these beautiful women and litterly just puts tears to my eyes cause how thankful I am. They are truly one of a kind! Please if you ever are pregnant, please deliver here!

Vanessa D: Just gave birth here and am resting in the postpartum recovery floor. The staff here is incredible and I am so grateful to have had the experience here that my husband and I did. I felt heard, cared for, and informed about every step of my birth and recovery so far! Special thanks to the nurses Katie and Nina in the labor and delivery unit. You ladies were amazing support and I will never forget it! The anesthesiologists were also top notch.

A N: I had a very quick & scary birth last Dec. the nurses by my side were literal angels. Holding my hand through the entire 30min labor while I am bleeding & having a very early baby. To say that I knew that they cared not only for me but my baby would be an understatement. They kept me safe & were advocates for me when I was in too much pain to speak & unable to get an epidural due to how quickly the labor was.RNs, Annie, Lisa, Kate & countless more thank you for being there for me & becoming my friend when I was in antepartum for 2 weeks.

Aaron Lund: The nurses and doctors here are some of the best in the US and even better it’s attached to MN children’s hospital

Willow Midwife and Birth Center: what do users think?

Katherine Hofmann: Cristal! My husband and I had such a great time with all of them and the labor and deliver went really well. They gave the best care and spoke so much life and love to us! Thank you Willow!

Alanna W: I cannot say enough wonderful things about Willow and their entire staff! I recently gave birth for the second time at Willow 6 weeks ago. They are extremely knowledgeable in their practice, every appointment leading up to birth I felt heard and respected. I never felt rushed during any appointments and was always able to ask as many questions as I wanted. They made me feel like a queen during labor and those few hours after birth! Every single staff member is so caring including the front desk coordinator, clinic assistants, birth assistants and midwives. Highly reccommend Willow over and over again!!

Marie-Annick Béliveau: I wish I could give a hundred stars. I simply want to hug every single person who works there. They are the most caring people you will ever meet in your life, every single one of them. Love our Willow family. Even my 60 years old mother wishes she could give birth again, after visiting Willow Birth Center!

AB C: I did try other birth centers and still ended up transferring a final time to Willow after a tour, a few months before my due date. It was exactly what I was looking for; a place that offers natural support and trust in mothers while still remaining professional, clean and a clinical feel for all tests, vitals and blood work. Consent is taken before everything and truly respected! I always thought I wanted a home birth, but Willow is so beautiful inside and out, I believe it even is better than that home atmosphere

osama hassan: The birthing process was so smooth and had a great experience through out the pregnancy and can't help but recommend this place for anyone and everyone who is pregnant and giving birth

Mallory G: consultant and I’ve made great friends from that group!

Ashley Benage: My husband and I had a wonderful experience at Willow. From the prenatal care to our son's birth, everything was amazing! The midwives and assistants were kind and compassionate and highly skilled. The rooms are designed to make you feel like you're right at home. Highly recommend!!

LoriAnn Droogsma: I knew I wanted to pursue a birth center for our care when I became pregnant with our first baby and chose Willow for my based on the recommendations of friends. My husband was a little bit skeptical at the beginning, but had a change of heart before long. The care provided to me at Willow was phenomenal. I was always given the opportunity to ask questions and I always felt heard. Our first baby was delivered with the competent skill of the midwife and birth assistant. My husband and I agree that we could not have asked for a better experience. We our beginning our journey with baby number 2, and are so excited to continue with Willow!

Rachel Steven: . I then retuned for my postpartum care with Willow. I would absolutely go back if I have another child. They are so personally caring, respectful, kind and supportive. The environment at Willow is so relaxing, welcoming and wonderful. I do wish that I could have delivered at Willow as well but I still greatly appreciate my time there and wouldn't change that for anything. TY to everything ne who cares for me!

Rebekah Girard: Could not have been happier with the care we received at Willow for the birth of our firstborn! We felt heard, cared for, informed, and respected in our decisions throughout the entire pregnancy and labor. They do such an amazing job creating a welcoming environment in the exam rooms and labor suite. Each midwife we met with throughout the course of the pregnancy was so encouraging and helpful in answering all our questions. We couldn't have asked for a better team to help us get our little one here safely. High recommend the Willow team!

Kristina Rivas: I've been really enjoying my care here so far. Cornell & Susanna are amazing, and I couldn't have asked for better providers. They've walked with me through a miscarriage and now a new pregnancy, and I can't overstate how kind and wonderful they've been through it all! Would HIGHLY recommend birthing here!

Abigail Langlois: Every single person at Willow has treated me, my husband, and children with kindness and respect. I had two beautiful births there and was given space to listen to my body and follow my own timeframe. I transferred to Willow in the second half of my first pregnancy and it was the absolute best choice I could have made.I cannot recommend Willow enough. If you’re considering Willow, go for a tour or meet with a midwife and you will instantly feel at home.

Cortney Kincaid: I transferred care here at 34 or 35 weeks pregnant with my second child. I am so lucky they took me in, as I was hoping for a vbac! Every midwife was so kind and thoughtful. No appointment felt rushed and I felt listened to. The whole team here really show care and kindness and support. I had my successfully vbac with an amazing team and when I got pregnant with my third had the most beautiful water birth. I'm now pregnant again and so looking forward to starting appointments! Also, love he mirror selfies in the elevator 😏

Abigail Stein: Willow is the absolute BEST! Hands down the best providers you will find!! They create such warm, comforting and safe environment through the entire pregnancy, birth and postpartum. They give you their full time and attention to all of your questions or concerns and thoroughly explain your options, with pros and cons. Couldn’t have had a better experience for the birth of my first baby! ❤️

Audrey B: Loved my care at Willow. I felt very comfortable with the team and loved the long appointments. I felt heard and never felt like a bother with my long list of questions at each one. The birth suite was perfect. A great place to have a baby.

Rachel Weber: When we were pregnant with our first child, I knew I wanted to have a low intervention birth, so I looked into local birth centers and other outside of hospital options, and from my first, initial, visit I felt at peace and so well cared for by all the staff. I've now had both of my sons at Willow over the past couple years and could not imagine going anywhere else for my prenatal care, births, and postpartum care! They deeply care for you and your family and are willing to answer any question you have and make you feel really empowered to do all your body is capable of!

Nicole R: Cannot say enough good things about Willow! The staff treats you like family and the facility feels like home! The rooms are all so cozy! Had the best experience having a baby with them! Cannot recommend them enough!

Emily VerWay: We’ve loved the personalized care we receive at Willow during each visit!

Roots Community Birth Center: what do users think?

Anna Kostochko: My safe place for labor, postpartum or annual health check up. In love with all stuff, the way how they explain you all the things the gonna do rathe it is blood pressure or any other exam ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Taylor Johnson: I love love love Roots. I cannot recommend their care more highly. They are so compassionate, take significant time to address questions, & ask for consent before any exam or bodily touch. They create & promote an environment of such safety, care, welcome, & justice in their midwifery practice.

Amra Budimlic: Getting care at Roots has been such a wonderful, and healing experience, for someone with Medical trauma & anxiety. The way they provide services makes you feel seen and heard. I have never felt rushed, and it's been so personable, vs. like a number.I have done all my prenatal and postpartum care here. I didn't end up giving birth her, due to last minute pieces with my labor & MH.Willa is one of the best providers I've ever met! She is so informative & reassuring. I leave feeling confident from the information she provides me.Everyone who works here is really nice and wonderful, and I also want to give a shout out to Rachel and Rebecca, for their non-judgemental support in postpartum when I struggled with my MH. I truly believe their care and approach, saved me from having things progress even worse.Would highly recommend this to anyone!

Cristina Rosario: Very friendly and welcoming providers, attentive, would recommend to a friend!

Cleopatra Scott: I love Roots and the women working here. My personal experience here has been amazing and I’ve learned a lot as well. I’ve been with roots since the very beginning of my pregnancy. I gave birth here, although besides the normal pain my birthing experience was amazing!! They also offer water births and natural remedies. Shout out to all the hard working woman, midwives, and students here and all the amazing help and guidance that they provide and offer. They are very responsive and really great listeners as well and take you and your baby’s health very seriously. 10/10 I highly recommend. 💜

Chandler Dryke: Using Roots for my primary medical care is so, so wonderful. The quality and depth of care, the responsiveness, the personalized treatment… I could go on and on. Midwifery care is an absolute dream and I’m so grateful to Roots for making it a reality for the non-pregnancy related needs of my life, too!

Alecia Tvedt: I have been with Roots from the beginning of my pregnancy and have had an absolutely amazing experience! EVERY one of the midwives and student midwives were extremely attentive, responsive, and most of kind and genuinely invested in my journey as a 1st time mom. I HIGHLY recommend Roots to anyone considering an alternative to hospital births, I was so anxious and scared but Willa helped me battle those feelings during labor, Mandi was so informative throughout the process that my pregnancy anxiety quoted right down. Thank you to everyone at Roots, truly a wonderful experience.

Nazai Shakera: It’s was amazing, truly excited to continue my pregnancy with them!!!

Wishenna Taylor: owned, ran clinic, come here. If you want to be listened to, work through big feelings and concerns, come here. Want honest, holistic care come here. If you want to have both holistic and medical care, come here. If you want to feel safe and at home for you and your baby, COME HERE.I'm sad I had to deliver via c-section. But had I not gone to roots for my check-up at over 40 weeks, almost 41, my son may have had some problems. But they sent me to a partnering hospital that treated me with the same level of care I received at Roots. If I ever travel down this journey again, I WILL be calling them!I love you, ladies. See you soon!

Amy Hartman: I needed a place that my daughters could be comfortable asking any questions they had in a place where they would be told honest answers without judgment. It is important that women find trustworthy partners in their health now and in the future.

Jessica Voerding: , my experience with Willa Campbell and all of the others there has been nothing short of compassionate, patient, collaborative, and committed. I am so grateful to have Willa and those at Roots as partners in my

Diceyiana Tejeda: Very welcoming from beginning to end, very understanding of my fears as a mom and supportive of my many questions and information. I'm excited to continue this journey with Roots staff.

Max Johnson: We loved roots. Speaking as the partner, I know my wife was cared for during the entire experience leading up to the birth, and then during the birth they were amazing. It felt like we were a part of a family with the midwife team, with a special shout-out to Rachel. They gave us space when needed, were relaxed, and didn’t rush my wife in anything related to her labor. We just felt safe, comfortable, and taken care of. Postpartum care was great too with home visits. We will be back if we have another.

Shaynee Taylor: I love roots birth center! I recommend them to everyone I know, especially for birth. Now that they also do care for everyone, I go there for our care as well. 100 star experience every time! These women are AMAZING & I appreciate everything they do!

Emily Kastendick: I'm so happy that I'll be sticking with that team as it's the perfect fit for me and my family. I recommend anyone and everyone to go to Roots no matter what stage or walk of life as they know how medical care should he handled. They aren't the "in and out" type of care clinic. Each appointment is no less than 30 minutes as they want to have an actual conversation with you. I love the attention to detail and evidence based care they offer. Thanks so much Roots for showing me how medical needs should be handled!

Gaal Levine: I love this place. Everyone on here is so warm and welcoming and I felt so heard and cared for at every appointment. I had an amazing birth at roots and will forever be grateful for the care I received and continue to receive from them. They did a great job balancing my personal needs and wants and still giving smart, solid evidence based medical advice. I am so thankful to their whole team and the experience of working with them.

Blooma Minneapolis: what do users think?

Tiffany Landy: , and she was a true delight. She was fantastic with my daughter and was a huge help. In addition to having an extra set of hands to entertain my daughter, she always checked in on me emotionally and physically, which I appreciated. She constantly made sure she was helping me or my daughter, or that the house was being taken care of. I would not have been able to survive the postpartum period without her.

Kylee Haglund: We attended a lactation class and I had a prenatal massage which were both fabulous but I’m here to mostly talk about our experience with Blooma doula service. Our doula was Meagan during our meetings prior to birth she helped us feel more prepared for birth and what to expect/ask our provider leading up to the big day. This knowledge gave me more confidence leading up to birth but where Meagan really shined was during labor. She came in and helped us navigate this very intense beautiful experience. She coached myself and husband and I felt so supported. I truly believe that she was a large factor in me having a positive birthing experience and I am beyond happy with the service.

Nicole Campbell: Our baby is now a month old and we've had the best experience with Blooma over the past 9 months. We attended several birth classes there, I went to yoga, received chiropractic and massages throughout pregnancy and we also used Blooma doulas for our birth.Blooma doulas were definitely the highlight for us and were so helpful to both my husband and myself. Aleida and Shaina were helpful throughout my pregnancy and amazing during labor both before the hospital and once we got there. I had an easy pregnancy, but nothing about the birth was what I had planned for and having doulas who prepped us for that throughout the pregnancy and were there in the moment to talk through things really helped us make the best of the experience. The hospital was also so busy that weekend that we barely saw the midwife, which made Shaina’s support and experience extra valuable for the birth. It was just us, Shaina and our nurse for most of the time and we would have been lost without the two of them! Shaina also took fantastic photos for us!

Nina Durkopp: We cannot speak highly enough of Aleida Vanderbrug & Shaina Towler and the invaluable support they provided during the birth of our child. From our initial meeting, we knew we had found someone special. They exuded warmth, professionalism, and genuine care for our well-being.Throughout the entire process, Aleida & Shaina were a calming presence, offering unwavering support and guidance. They took the time to understand our preferences and concerns, ensuring that our birth experience was tailored to meet our needs.During labor, Aleida was a true rock. She provided continuous physical and emotional support, offering comfort measures and reassurance every step of the way. Her expertise and calming presence helped us navigate unexpected challenges with confidence and grace.Beyond the birth itself, Aleida & Shaina were a pillar of support in the postpartum period, offering invaluable advice and encouragement as we adjusted to life with our newborn. We are immensely grateful to Aleida & Shaina for their role in our birth journey. They went above and beyond to ensure that we felt empowered, supported, and cared for every step of the way. We wholeheartedly recommend Aleida & Shaina & Blooma to anyone seeking a compassionate and knowledgeable birth doula.

Jessica Spanswick: We hired Anna Hoyme as a postpartum doula in preparation for the birth of our first baby. Anna went above and beyond! She helped us navigate lactation, sleep, cloth diapers, communication, recovery from birth, anxiety, etc. She was always so incredibly kind, understanding, and proactive. She is also exceptionally knowledgeable about infant and new mother care. We miss her already!

Dani S: and...she didn't only make it bearable but absolutely entertaining and informative. We learned SO much! I would absolutely recommend Blooma!

Brittany Gomez: I recently took a Doula training workshop at Blooma, what an incredible experience! The Blooma studio was a perfect place to learn and ignite even more passion for birthwork. As part of the training weekend we also got to experience a prenatal yoga class with expecting mothers - to see the comfort and community for all those mamas to be was heartwarming. I will recommend Blooma to all my clients!!

Katie Heberer: Blooma is the best! All the classes create a sense of community; it’s more than yoga, it’s a way to connect with others. I would highly recommend all the BYOB barre and yoga classes; it’s a great way to move your body while staying with baby. All the teachers are highly knowledgeable and make modifications as needed.

Lia Sherman: . I've been coming here for nearly a decade, and no week feels complete without walking through the door. 10/10 recommend, 100 stars if I could give them, A+ local business run by incredible women.

Autumn Onelove: I received a very relaxing prenatal massage from Molly Hajkova. She made me feel very comfortable. The space was very relaxing and calming. I also really appreciated that I was able to lay face down as they have a special table to give space for baby in my belly! Thanks Molly!

Megan McCord: Blooma has been such a joy for my first year of motherhood. It is a welcoming place for moms and women! I have utilized the education classes, workouts and massage. I appreciate the discount for being an RN!

greta: your name and ask if anything is going on in your body before they start class to ensure they are teaching with modifications in mind. They also incorporate mindfulness into the practice which has enabled me to improve my mind-body connection.Whether you are pre-natal, post-natal, or neither like me – it is a great community for every gender, body, age, and yoga level. The wide array of people enables us to accept each other and ourselves for who we are and where we are in life. I also appreciate the wide array of classes and services. Between flow yoga, restorative yoga, barre, mat pilates, workshops, massage therapists, teacher training, and more – I have everything I need at Blooma – for my mind, body, and heart.

Nancy Holtze: Blooma yoga is hands down my favorite studio to practice yoga at and I have lived in many places and tried out countless studios. There is something so uniquely special at Blooma and you feel it the minute you walk in the door. The warmth of the greetings and the community is beyond rich. You feel it immediately and it is welcoming to all. I love the diversity of ages and levels and the instructors are experts in their crafts, always offering alternative options and making sure everyone is comfortable and safe. I look forward to every class. And it is a place for ALL! No need to be female, pregnant or have any children at all.

Ashley O'Reilly: Meagan and Shiana were fabulous.I called them for SO MANY QUESTIONS during pregnancy and postpartum. They always answered - day or night - and made us feel like their most important clients. The suggestions they provided such as when to see a chiropractor, when i should go to the hospital during labor, and when we needed to contact peds for our new baby are all incredibly helpful. Yes, they are expensive, but I would pay DOUBLE to have them again. They were that great!

Libby Arnosti: My prenatal massage with Gretchen was hands down the best massage I have ever had. She made me feel so at ease in the space, listened to what was going on with my body in pregnancy, and personalized her massage really well to what I needed. Her technique is excellent and I truly melted on the table for all 90 minutes. At the end of the massage she gave me resources, tips based on what I am experiencing in my pregnancy, and ideas for how my partner can help me. I am absolutely coming back again, 10/10 would recommend.

Molly McGurran: , birth classes and body work. The doula staff is so talented & their birth education courses are chalked full of information. There is such a strong sense of community & wonderful staff who are knowledgeable and kind!

Hannah Henderson: Our overnight postpartum doula Taylor was fantastic. She made things so easy by handling overnight feedings, bottling/labeling my pumped milk, folding baby laundry, and providing tips and insight about questions we had about diaper rash, sleep schedules, and what's "normal" for twin infants. My husband and I would highly recommend Taylor!

Health Foundations Birth Center + Women's Health Clinic: what do users think?

Cailey Luehrs: . My prenatal care was hands down the best care I’ve ever received. I went to an OB at a clinic for the first 20 weeks with my first pregnancy and transferring my care to the birth center was the best decision ever! I felt like my voice can be heard here and my wishes and opinions surrounding labor & delivery were supported. When I had my second baby in August 2023, I did end up needing to be transferred to United by ambulance after delivery due to bleeding. The midwives acted fast and stayed calm during the whole process! I never felt worried or that they weren’t handling things for my best interest. My midwife rode in the ambulance with me and advocated for me while at the hospital. Although transfers are rare, they do happen. It was out of my control and I will still will continue to go back to the birth center for my future pregnancies.Thank you to everyone at TCBC for loving and caring for every woman who walks in the door. Nobody could ever receive the same support somewhere else!

Crispy Rose: Highly recommend to expectant parents who want a personalized experience with skilled practitioners.

elizabeth pittman: to any mamas-to-be.

Natabulous: Had our birth here on 2023 and couldn't have asked for better care. Very peaceful environment overall. The tub they have is massive and you could just float if needed, this seemed to help me alot in labor. Prenatal care was great as well, we discussed that I wanted a hands off labor and I was so happy to not be poked and prodded every 30mins like they do in hospital. Small complication with bleeding but that was taken care of well and we got to go home. Thank you for being available to those that don't want to be in hospital 🙏

Madison Zeise: I loved their required classes before giving birth, daddies are encouraged to join. Was able to have a natural birth here and loved my experience. I gave birth and then snuggled my baby in a calm, dimly lit room on a real bed. I'm hoping to birth my second child here, using the tub, if I have time. They had us leave within 4 hours after giving birth, which made sense. They love babies and support moms throughout pregnancy. They offer resources to help prepare us for postpartum as well as breastfeeding. They have a $50 doula option as well for birth. I had a doula show up the night of and during birth and was more helpful than I imagined. Love love love.

Ben&Jackie Voigt: I can’t say enough good things about the birth center and their staff! From touring, to all prenatal care, to delivery, to postpartum, the service and care provided has been nothing short of 5 star. Ashley is amazing at her job, is so helpful and kind, and very organized! Katy in billing is also very organized, helpful and kind. Taylor is a fantastic nurse, incredibly knowledgeable, helpful and kind. All the midwives were superb. The whole staff truly prioritizes informed consent and patient care. I never felt rushed at appointments and always felt very heard. They always gave great explanations of care being offered so that we could make the best choice for our family. I never knew labor could be such a wonderful experience until I delivered here. The nurses, midwives, and students were all so encouraging and empowering. I truly felt I could trust my body to bring this baby earth side. I highly recommend the birth center!!

Amanda Baugh-Buys: . I could talk about anything and receive support. They believe in care of the whole woman; if she is growing a baby her health will direct the baby's. Their lactation consultant Jayme Jo is the reason I have had a successful breastfeeding journey. She always had multiple tips and tricks to help me get beyond any hurdle I came upon. If you are in need of support I HIGHLY RECOMMEND reaching out. She is wonderful. My most recent birth in June of 2022 was nothing short of magical and I have to give props to the amazing team at TCBC. They listened and responded to my needs. The tub was ever bit as amazing as I imagined and I was able to bring my baby earth-siade in the water as planned. I felt safe and supported throughout my entire labor and immediate postpartum period. I am sad that I am done having babies since they are all so lovely and I have really developed relationships with several of the nurses and midwives. I will continue to get care here for years to come.

Allison Wolff: I gave birth here in September 2022 and had almost all my prenatal care here as well. I cannot say enough good things about the friendly, gentle spirit of the midwives and staff; the empowering birth experience in such a tranquil, supportive setting; and the high-quality, evidence-based, consent-focused care throughout pregnancy and labor. I really appreciated the doula internship program and took advantage of the low-cost doula services through that. 100% recommend TCBC to any moms looking for an unmedicated birth and truly personalized prenatal care experience - I plan to come here again with future pregnancies!

Kodi Hoffarth: #4

Hannah Leidall: enough! My son Riggins was born there in March & my husband and I still rave about our experience. We are forever thankful for a place that informs and educates but doesn’t force, and believes in our bodies natural ability to bring our baby into this world. During labor I had the best cheerleaders in my midwives & nurses! They recommended position changes when I was feeling stuck and I felt immense peace in their presence. When all of our post baby visits were done and I said goodbye I felt like I just left some of my newest and dearest friends in the staff there!

Blair Haesly: I had all three of my babies at Twin Cities Birth Center, and I can’t imagine going anywhere else! It is such a welcoming and calm environment, and the people there are amazing! I felt so comfortable with my care during pregnancy, during labor/delivery, after baby came, and for my annual exams. Everyone is so welcoming, and I knew I could put my trust in the midwives/nurses/staff for the health and safety of my babies and me. I highly recommend Twin Cities Birth Center!

Jessica Bratzel: I had 3 amazing and peaceful unmedicated births at Twin Cities Birth Center! Loved my birth experiences and wouldn’t trade them for the world. The staff including front desk, nurses, midwives and honestly everyone was amazing, friendly and really listened to what you needed and wanted. I would recommend this place to anyone!

Savannah Van Loon: . The team is easy to get a hold of and delivers patient/centered care in the midst of turbulent times. As a first time mom, they cheered me on through every stage and made me feel very known. I can’t wait to go back!

Ally Welle: We chose TCBC for the pregnancy and birth of our first child and could not be more happy that we did. Longer appointment times allowed us to ask all of our first-time parent questions and feel confident that we were making the best informed choices for our family. We were able to meet each of the midwives during prenatal visits so they were all familiar faces when it came time for labor and birth. The labor and birth process was incredible. I felt supported, heard, and confident that they knew my birth plan and would do what they could to facilitate it. I felt safe the whole way through labor and was able to deliver our baby in the water birth tub which was what I had hoped for. The birth suites themselves are spacious, homey, and calm. My husband and our families whom we shared pictures with were blown away by how serene the birth space looked. For postpartum care, we were able to stay a few hours to be checked-up on, and then went home that same night. Sleeping in our own bed after laboring all day was absolutely perfect and such a gift. Lastly, having 24/7 access to be able to call the midwives and speak directly to a provider was so reassuring and we were able to meet with a lactation consultant multiple times in the first weeks to make sure that we were confident in our plan to feed our baby.Overall, I cannot recommend the care here enough. They have informational tours that I would recommend anyone take just to talk about your health history, whether a birth center is the right fit for you, and what care at a birth center looks like compared to a hospital.

Elizabeth Bartley: I have nothing but great things to say about Health Foundations. I'm 37 weeks pregnant, so I haven't yet delivered there, but my care up until this point has been great. They really make me feel respected and valued and cared for and all the midwives and nurses are amazing. I probably interact with Ashley at the front desk the most. She is always super friendly in a genuine way but at the same time professional. I always look forward to going in and saying hello to her and she makes booking appointments and taking payments so simple. Katie in billing has also been super helpful and the time she's taken to help me understand costs and my insurance has been unexpectedly effective. I don't think I'd get that level of help elsewhere. Any time I've emailed with questions from "can I take this protein powder" to anything more serious, I've gotten responses quickly from their nurses. I've had to page a midwife one time on a weekend and received a call back within 2-3 minutes. I have so much confidence in my labor and delivery with them and feel confident in myself and empowered because of my experience so far.

The Mother Baby Center At United And Children's Minnesota: what do users think?

Erica Kennelly: I had my first pregnancy from start to finish here! I’m back for baby #2. My midwife team last time and this time has been absolutely amazing. I also saw Dr. Benson who was amazing as well! The team is so caring, supportive, and everything you’d ever want in a team of medical professionals during a pregnancy/labor. I highly recommend the midwives at the mother baby center!

Tyson Archer: We had our baby girl here early in February. Originally, we were going to be at the Minnesota Birth Center down the road, but baby was late and we needed to induce, so plans changed very late. This late change of plans had my wife & I incredibly anxious as we were sent to United. Our anxiety was eased very quickly upon arriving here! All the nurses and midwives we interacted with were personable, friendly, and put our birth plan first. Most of the people we dealt with had worked at the MN Birth Center in the past, so they knew the experience we were looking for. We were free to take whatever approaches we wanted. Whatever made Mama comfortable, we could do. They were not one of those "well you have to do it this way" type of hospitals.Labor was long, so there were several shift changes, but everyone we dealt with was fantastic. That doubles for the postpartum wing as well. We were always taken care of through the 2 1/2 days we were there. As nervous as we were with our entire birth plan changing last-minute, my wife & I were both very happy with our experience at the Mother Baby Center. Would happily recommend to anyone expecting.

Paula Dainelle Preston: First time mother going in for a 41 week induction completely terrified. My care team was absolutely wonderful and explained everything clearly and helped me get through the worst of it. The star of the show was Becca, I don’t think my labor experience would have been as good as it was without her. She was kind, understanding, and took her time to make sure I was okay. She even visited me and my little one multiple times in our postpartum room to make sure we were doing okay. Joy our postpartum nurse was wonderful as well and helped assure me in my breastfeeding journey. Great kind team all around.

Monae Johnson: The mother birthing staff as a whole from the surgeons to the nurse to the post natal here are BEYOND AMAZING. They made this experience even more worth while. Very caring and supportive staff and so informative with making sure of that as well.

Theresa Harding: My daughter delivered here this morning. The entire staff, security, reception, triage nurse, delivery and post natal nurses…they were all very caring and helpful throughout the experience. Thank you all so much for a beautiful experience.

Zachary Gordon: , safe, clean environment. Glad we came here.

Noel Fallon: Hannah Malone is an incredible NICU nurse! In my experience, she’s extremely dedicated to her work and Children’s is lucky to have her!

V C: Had a wonderful experience with my firstborn here that I was so happy to come back for my second child. The labor & delivery nurses are just phenomenal! They made sure I was very well taken care of. I appreciated how some of the staff would checkup on me after giving birth to see how I was doing which made me feel important. There would be at least a couple throughout my post-care who seems passionate about what they do, but overall those kind hearts are whom keeps a place worth coming back to! Thank you all for what you do 3

Avitity Inc: Incredible team of caring doctors. Word of caution if you need to bring your baby in for emergency service and it is not life threatening, you could end up waiting several hours so urgent care may be a better option.

Zuleyma Morales: Best birthing Hospital in all Minnesota. Had both of my kids here, absolutely amazing nurses and doctors. I really cried when I left because you build that connection with the nurses, they treat you with the most care. I just can’t say enough. Thank you 🙏🏾 Mother Baby Center! A special thank you to Nurse Amy. You really made me believe that I could birth naturally even when I doubted myself. I can’t thank you enough 💛

Alexis Thao: I had the best labor and delivery experience because of the nurses here. I felt heard, cared for, and supported through my entire journey. Special thank you to nurses Becca, Amy, and Katie. Absolute angels and I will be forever grateful for them.

Elizabeth Meche: I had a wonderful experience with this staff and facility. From maternity appointments to the birth of my son, you could tell that they truly love what they do. We got to know the team really well, all of our needs were received with generosity and the comfort of knowing you're in the most capable hands, made it a very peaceful transition to parenthood. The facility is gorgeous with very spacious rooms and the food was way better than we expected. When baby #2 comes along, we know where we're going.

Emuesiri Odudu: Amanda K is an angel to me. She is the reason they say ‘nurses are angels’. She was really so professional, hardworking and caring. Dr Peoples is wonderful. She “knows her Onion”. Her expertise is out of the world. I will not forget Nurse Ciara, Julia, Olivia and other staff who went extra mile to ensure safe delivery. Thank you. God will reward you all.

Bri Munos: I had the best experience giving birth to my first born just 6 weeks ago! A special thank you to my nurse Brittany who was incredible! She made sure I knew exactly how everything would go and kept very close monitor on me and my sweet boy the entire time. Made me feel so comfortable and calm. I cannot say enough about my experience and it was 100% because of all the nurses that took great care of us. I would recommend to anyone!

Midwest Doulas: what do users think?

Family Campos: My husband and I hired Midwest doulas for the birth of our first child and knew that we wanted the support from Midwest doulas again when we were expecting our second child. They surpassed any expectations that I had. We had Justine, Ale, and Rachel as our team with Justine attending both births.I felt informed and empowered to make the choices that were right for me throughout my pregnancy, which wasn't as easy as my first. It would have been much harder without having the doula support with this pregnancy. My child's birth was also smooth, which I attribute to having such a good team with Justine. She is very knowledgeable and worked well with the medical team in order to make things go as well as they could have. She recommended position changes and everything went great. I'd recommend Midwest doulas to anyone having a baby.

Megan E: Midwest Doulas has been amazing to work with and we were so happy we hired them for my two pregnancies. After our first experience, they were one of our first calls when we learned we were expecting again. We had initially interviewed a few companies and knew they were the right fit for my hospital births. Our first in 2022 and second in 2024. It was important to us to have a doula that was experienced, trustworthy, and supportive of our preferences. We had extremely helpful conversations throughout both pregnancies. They are truly an invaluable resource. Ale, Justine, and Ashley truly supported us in a special way that we’ll never forget! My two pregnancy journeys were very different and they didn’t miss a beat with responses and guidance for all the questions that came up. I was nervous and anxious at times and they were always a calm voice on the other end of the line. My two births were very different and their team is prepared for anything. They were also a great support to my husband. They provided a calm confidence in the delivery room that means so much to us both. It was well worth the investment for our family and we are forever grateful! If you are considering working with a doula for your pregnancy and delivery, I highly recommend Midwest Doulas!!

Megan Margarit: My husband and I have had the privilege of working with Justine and her team at Midwest Doulas for two births now and we couldn't recommend them enough! The education and support we received throughout both pregnancies and births was invaluable. We had Rachel present for the hospital birth of our first son and Justine present for the birth center birth of our second son last Fall. Both experiences were unique and beautiful.Justine is always ready to go above and beyond for her clients which is why we keep coming back. Having Justine and her team in our back pocket made both pregnancies less stressful and gave me confidence going into each birth. Justine and her team are available to answer questions and provide support throughout your entire pregnancy journey. We were beyond grateful for their professionalism and level of expertise. There's not a lot you can control during birth, however you can control your support team. And Midwest Doulas is second to none!

Zoë Tarrel: Justine is simply cut out for this work. She is so experienced and so passionate about what she does. The support, validation, and encouragement I received through my birth process that went nothing as planned was invaluable to me and my partner.I was curious how such an intimate experience would go with someone I had only had a few connections with, but she blew my expectations out of the water and I trusted her and connected with her during my birth with such ease. That’s a testament to the niche skill set of an amazing doula. She is an amazing part of my birth story and the mental preparation that preceded it. I am so grateful!

Doris Elliott: , and I had some unexpected twists & turns towards the end of my pregnancy I was able to prepare and advocate for myself within the new landscape due to my conversations with Justine. I ended up having a really amazing birth experience and know it could have gone so differently without the extensive experience and wisdom of Midwest Doulas!

Jamie Setterberg: This was our second time hiring Midwest Doulas and we are very impressed with them once again. Their knowledge, availability and care helped us have the birth experience we desired. They are top notch in the doula industry!

Casey Ashton: allowed us to feel so informed and confident going into our birth. For the big day of our birth, we were lucky to have Ashley join us; her guidance and support throughout labor

Tara Rademacher: After interviewing multiple doulas and feeling very discouraged with who we were finding, a friend recommended Justine at Midwest Doulas. My husband and I interviewed with her and immediately felt connected to her. Justine and her team were amazing during our prenatal visits and helped us feel very prepared for what was to come. Despite our birth going completely off course due to some medical reasons outside of our control, Justine helped us to feel in control of the process the whole time and own our birth story regardless of it not being what we imagined or planned for. She was an incredie support during active labor and coach during pushing. My husband is very grateful she was there despite not knowing what a doula was when we started interviewing them. He is now recommending Justine to all of his friends for when their partners give birth.

Nina Johnson: My birth would not be what it was without Justine and Midwest doulas. Justine was not only my advocate but my cheerleader and motivator throughout my labor. Before Justine arrived at the hospital I was discussing having an epidural with my husband because I was in way more pain than I had anticipated. Justine knew my intentions of having a unmedicated birth experience and as soon as she arrived, drew a bath for me and began her work. She encouraged me that this was all with my power. She was supportive and reminded me why I was there and brought be back to my purpose. My husband and I felt so at ease with her leading my movements through pushing. Since my OB was not the doctor that was with us in the delivery room, Justine gave us a sense of familiarity and direction. I could not recommend her and Midwest Doulas enough. They are a huge part of why I had a 6 hour labor and unmedicated birth. She led me through 3 hours of pushing and helped me deliver our healthy, beautiful baby boy. We could not be more grateful she was there for us, and followed up after our birth in our home. We are happy to call Justine a friend and will absolutely use Midwest Doulas for our second baby.

Brant Miller: When we found out we were having our second baby, our first call was Justine at Midwest Doulas. She was such a massively important part of our first birth experience that we couldn’t fathom having a second without her by our side. Our recent birth was one of the most joyful experiences of our lives, just like our first birth, filled with laughter and love and positivity and amazing music, support, and encouragement. When you are getting close to the birth of your child, it is typically an anxiety-filled and scary time, but not when Justine is part of the picture. Every time we talked to her, we were reminded that birth is an adventure, something to get psyched for, something we were LUCKY to experience. Thank you so much to Justine for advocating for us, for protecting us, for giving us the best advice, and for helping shepherd our beautiful son brilliantly and safely into the world!

Heather Fortlander: I recently had my first born and used the Midwest Doula services to have support through my pregnancy and labor. It was the best decision for myself, my husband, and new daughter. The doulas, Justine, Rachel, and Ashley were all wonderful to chat with, provide support, and ask questions to. They made me feel like I had a team in my corner. They focus a lot on mindset and being mentally while also physically prepared for birth. They eased my mind and made me feel confident in my ability. They made my husband feel confident as well in what his role needed to be, and when he passed out during labor, Justine stayed right by my side, encouraging me to go on. I HIGHLY recommend employing the Midwest Doulas whether it's your first or 5th. They are wonderful!

Kayla Bestor: . When we met her it was SO clear how knowledgeable she was on research based best practices

Sean Bestor: , she came in on birth day and coached my wife to the most ideal birth we could imagine. For the non-birthing partners reading this -- get a doula, and get Justine and her team. It is immeasurably helpful to have experts in the room that can advocate for your partner, know exactly how to operate in every situation, and can help your partner have their ideal birth. She helped us early on with moving to a hospital that more closely fit what we were looking for in a birth. She advocated for us, and she helped my partner feel empowered every step of the way.

Sarah Kraus: We are so thankful for the incredible team at Midwest Doulas and could not imagine our birth experience without them! Their team provided unmatched support during my pregnancy and were always around to answer any questions or concerns we had. During my labor and delivery, Ale anticipated exactly what I needed and calmly provided suggestions to myself and my partner that allowed us to further connect during the birth experience and bring our daughter into the world in a way that aligned with our goals. Giving birth is unpredictable and Ale expertly helped us navigate the unexpected times by communicating with us and our health care team. We are so thankful for Ale and the entire team at Midwest Doulas for their compassion, knowledge, and advocacy. We highly recommend their services to all expecting moms!

Olivia Young: but communication between prenatal appointments on MyChart sometimes felt a bit slow and one-sided. I reached out to Justine several times with questions during my pregnancy and she always responded right away with a phone call or text. Ale, Rachel and Julie were all so knowledgeable and lovely as well.Julie was our postpartum doula and we had two sessions included in our package. She was so caring and friendly, helping us get much-needed rest while she cared for our baby, cleaned and even made us delicious meals to enjoy later. In addition to the birth planning and prenatal educational sessions that Justine and her immediate team provided, we were so happy with the thorough birth classes at BirthED in Hopkins that were included in our package. We knew what to expect and how to advocate for ourselves, and felt prepared for every scenario.Thank you so much, Justine and team! We are so appreciative of what you do.

Aaron Paitich: We are so happy with our decision to hire Midwest Doulas. After undergoing IVF and a long journey with infertility, we were just happy to be expecting and hadn’t given much thought to the birth itself. We just hoped for a healthy baby. After taking a childbirth class through our clinic, we gave more thought to birth preferences and how to have a more positive birth experience. We started researching doulas and came across all the positive reviews for Midwest Doulas. We decided to set up time to meet with Justine and better understand her philosophy and approach to being a doula. After speaking with her, we realized she would be a wonderful fit and that having an experienced doula present would help us have a more positive birth experience. Justine, Ale, and Rachel provided useful information and reassurance leading up to our scheduled induction. Their communication was great in the weeks before and they always answered any questions we had with empathy and their guidance was reassuring and evidence-based.When I was in labor, Justine was exactly what my husband and I hoped for from a doula. Her presence was calm, steady, and reassuring. She provided helpful insight as the labor progressed and had great suggestions for improving my comfort and laboring positions. When it came time to push, she was amazing, and I was really grateful to have her by our side. After my doctor recommended that I have an emergency c-section due to fetal distress, my husband and I were emotional and scared. I was especially grateful at that point for Justine. Things moved very quickly, and while the medical team was prepping for the surgery, she explained to us exactly what would happen in the OR and what to expect step by step, which calmed our nerves. She was able to join us in the OR and held my hand, answered my questions during the surgery, and helped me cope with nausea throughout. She also took beautiful photos as our son came into the world.Although the birth didn’t go the way we had hoped or imagined, it was still overall a positive experience in large part because of Justine. In the weeks after the birth, she was always available to talk and that really helped us to process the birth experience. We can’t recommend Justine highly enough, and we wouldn’t hesitate to hire her again if we are able to have another pregnancy.

Sam Lunder: We were lucky enough to work with Justine, Ale and Rachel of Midwest Doulas to prepare for and support us in the birth of our first child. The 3 prenatal sessions with Justine, Ale and Rachel were informative and evidence-based. By the end, we felt more knowledgeable about our pregnancy and like we were confident in our birth preferences and the process of birthing at our chosen hospital. Throughout the pregnancy, any and all questions that we had were answered quickly and thoroughly. By the end of the pregnancy it felt like we had 3 good friends in our corner who also happened to be experts on birth. Our birth did not end up going at all how we had planned - I ended up being induced and after a long induction which stalled out at the end, our baby boy came to the world via c-section. Justine was incredibly present and supportive through the whole planning process and when induction day came, she was invaluable. She brought the exact energy that we needed, and kept me moving throughout the whole induction - even doing position work after I got an epidural. When it came time to make the decision to do a c-section, I knew we were making the right choice because she was confident we had tried everything. My husband and I were so grateful to have her in the operating room to support me so he could be with baby throughout. And she caught pictures that I will cherish forever as I wasn’t very lucid for the procedure.

Carissa Klein: We had a wonderful experience with the team from Midwest Doulas! From the first interaction through our first week or two postpartum. Every moment we were supported, educated and cared for. They helped me write a comprehensive birth plan and advocated for me. At one point a doctor wanted to perform a procedure on me that my body wasn’t yet ready for and I stuck to my plan and said no. The doctor was obviously annoyed with me and left the room in a huff. I immediately called my doula and she completely reassured me that I made the right decision. When active labor began Ale came to the hospital and she stayed with me throughout the 6-7 hour labor and delivery. I truly believe her calm energy, knowledge and expertise is what gave me the confidence and strength to bring my baby to my arms safely and without complications. Working with a doula also took a lot of pressure off my husband, who was able to simply be an emotional support person, rather than trying to be a birth coach. I would absolutely recommend this team to anyone! If we are blessed with a second child I will call Midwest Doulas again.

Adam Kourajian: for both kids. We had two beautiful births, thanks in no small part to Justine. While the benefits of a doula for mom seem pretty well understood, I think the benefits for dad are a little underreported. It’s really fantastic having someone in the delivery room with true expertise who can advocate

Alyssa Oliversen: I am so thankful to have been recommended to use Midwest Doulas. We got connected rather late in our pregnancy and they were flexible and diligent in making sure we were able to schedule all of the prenatal meetings, get questions answered, and be supportive in the last weeks of pregnancy. This being our first pregnancy, I felt so much more confident going into the birth knowing I had such experienced doulas on my team. We ended up having a very long labor that ended in cesarean — basically everything went against my original birth plan — and it was so helpful to have Ale there for both me and my husband as we processed options and what the medical team was recommending. It helped us feel empowered and part of the decision making, even if they weren’t decisions we originally wanted to make. I am also very thankful for the post-natal visit as it was a time to continue process our birth story. Would 10/10 recommend this team!
