Austin Kemp: When we started this process we had no idea what to expect. This was our first experience building a home and we were very excited yet nervous. When we met with Mike Reinhart, the new home consultant, to design our forever home we felt very at ease and he did not pressure us to make any decisions we were not comfortable with, respected our budget, and gave us insight into what he has seen other buyers do in certain situations. He was also incredibly gracious and flexible with some of the financial aspects of this process and was very good at keeping open communication with us and our realtor. If this had not been the case I’m not sure we would have been able to make our forever home a reality. We also had a wonderful experience with Sylvia Roberts at the design center and were very impressed with all the different design options. Sylvia was very knowledgeable and also respectful of our budget and priorities. Our construction manager was Thomas Walljasper and we were very impressed with his communication and he made us feel like our concerns were his top priority. He and his crew did an amazing job building our house and even to this day he makes himself available if we have questions or concerns. Last but not least was working with Deb Jensen in the finance division. She offered us some great specials and put together a mortgage we could afford.We will always be incredibly grateful for everything the entire M/I Homes team has done for our family. We are so excited to be here in the Orchard Park development and refer them to anyone we know that are looking to build in the area!

I am happy to speak with you and have many other pictures to show.The monoslab underneath my garage was cracking and separating and the frame on the front side of the garage was damaged from setting directly on the garage floor. The garage integrity was being challenged as a result of the deteriorating garage foundation. I also had some sidewalk/patio cracked concrete with freeze/thaw issues that I had them fix.The project took them only 9 working days from start to finish. In that time they shored/lifted/braced my 24'x28' oversized 2-car garage, removed/replaced garage floor & foundation, re-set the garage on the new block as well as pored concrete 14' in front of the garage and the smaller spots I mentioned above.It was a professional experience from initial review, design, & quote through completion. Awesome crew. Easy for me to work with and I am thrilled with the results.

The crew did a great job of lifting the garage, demolishing the old garage slab and footings pouring a new slab and then tearing out the old driveway and pouring new. Needless to say the new garage floor and driveway look fantastic.

They were communicative all through the process, from estimation to project scheduling to project management to billing.Crews were efficient and professional, the crew leads did a great job communicating and cleanup was top notch.
