Jean Allan: These guys are a testament to buying small and local! I had 2 of the big name companies out for estimates for my multi-day job and they were hugely inflated; in one case in part, I think, because I’m a single woman with white hair. Then I got wise and called this small company located right in the neighborhood. They were fantastic from start to finish. They were great at explaining without the patronizing tone of the others. They broke down the estimate so I could pick and choose what I could afford. In the end I could do everything because their charges were so much more in line with what I was expecting. Jaron and his apprentice were always on time, friendly, creative, professional and the quality of the work was outstanding. It is now over 2 months later and everything is working perfectly.It was such a positive experience in every way. I feel relieved to know I won’t need to put off calling for plumbing help in the future because I can call Erik’s! And I’d never hesitate recommending them to my friends.
Aaron Gipe: I had Nick and Simon from Erik Nelson Plumbing come to my home today to replace my bathtub hardware, fix some issues with hot water to the upstairs of my home, and install a couple isolation valves.They were amazing. Professional but personable. Thoroughly explained my options, root causes, and any unknowns they encountered. They quickly troubleshot and fixed my hot water issues. They were also very proactive when they saw something that wasn't working they either quickly addressed it and/or brought it to my attention. I'm very grateful to have that issue resolved.The bathtub hardware they replaced was on an older 2 handle faucet that they converted to a modern single handle faucet. The end result looked much better than I expected. The construction plate they used looks great, covers the holes, and matches the faucet.They exceeded my expectations, communicated everything clearly, and came in well under the estimate they had initially provided since some of the issues were easier to fix than anticipated.I would highly recommend Erik Nelson Plumbing.
Kasey Gilles: Erik Nelson Plumbing is THE ABSOLUTE BEST plumbing company I’ve ever hired or even thought of hiring. They recently installed a half bath, including a new laundry tub in the basement of our 1920’s South Minneapolis home. John came out and provided us with a detailed bid and cogent time frame for how the job could be done. John demonstrated knowledge of Minneapolis code and working on old houses that blew every other plumber I’d consulted out of the water.The job was done exactly as described, using quality materials and minimal disturbance to our busy lives. Also spot on the very fair estimate. We appreciate them and the work they did on our house more than I can express here. SIMPLY THE BEST.

Amanda Greene Guentzel: ENP came to the rescue when the supply line to our toilet burst a leak and flooded our home. They were able to quickly come and rebuild our original toilets rather than having to replace. I don't feel as though they were more expensive than any other good plumber.

Brian Munson: I had a great customer experience working with ENP the first time. I chose ENP based on their stellar google reviews and prompt response time. Justin was easy to get a hold of, and any missed calls were responded to in a timely manner during the scheduling process. The plumbers on site, Adam and Simon, were very professional in their approach, taking much care in protecting my floors, limiting dust by using plastic tenting, and being attentive with their clean up post repair. With an over 100 year old home with questionable patch jobs over the years, Adam and Simon were unphased and solution focused. I felt informed with what repairs were being performed, and any options were well described and pressure free. I never felt like I was being "sold", and their repair came in at their quote. I would not hesitate recommending ENP to friends or family and will keep them in mind for any future plumbing needs. A special thanks to Adam, Simon, and Justin for treating myself and my home so well.

Charley Rustad: I’ve had ENP do two small projects at my house now, and am very happy with the results. I spoke to Justin on the phone before both, and he was responsive and did all he could to help over the phone. I got on the schedule easily both times. Simon was the plumber who came out for each project. He was friendly, explained my options at various price points and the pros/cons behind each, and did quality work. They are a little higher priced, but their pricing process is as transparent as can be and the peace of mind I get is worth it to me knowing their work is well done.

Ken Webb: We have hired Soderlin several times over the 20 years that we have owned our home and they have always done excellent work for us. Several years ago Soderlin replaced our boiler and we were very happy with their work. So when the time came this winter to renovate our 2nd floor bathroom and add 2nd floor laundry to our home there was only one choice in our minds as to who to hire for the plumbing work - we called Soderlin. Jeff Taylor has visited our home twice over the past few months, and has also been very responsive via text, to help us plan for and execute this large and complex project. We are otherwise completing most of the renovation work ourselves and Jeff has been invaluable in helping us with items procurement and general planning. We are very much looking forward to Jeff completing this work for us next week so we can proceed with the project. We will always call Soderlin for our plumbing needs.

We were able to get a plumber out quickly to make a quote and then scheduled the work only two weeks out. Everyone we worked with were curteous and respectful. We had a fairly large project and the workers were timely and efficient. They discussed what the work entailed and showed us what would get done. They cleaned up after themselves and respected our house and property. I will definitely be using Soderlin again if needed and highly recommend them.

Bryan Halicki: My shower head in my 1928 Minneapolis home was leaking while my tub faucet was running for the past few months. I called Soderlin on 9/27 to diagnose and repair the issue. Their office picked up immediately and worked with my schedule to have someone arrive the next day. They sent Joel, a professional plumber with over 20 years of experience. He contacted me ahead of my appointment the morning of 9/28 and was prompt and early. He ran a few diagnostics and gave me a couple options to potentially fix the issue. He recommended the inexpensive option first which I went with. He replaced the shark bite fitting with a copper connection, and the shower head no longer leaked. The problem was due to a bad shark bite connection that was constricting the water flow and backing up to the shower head. Joel was professional, courteous, and explained the issue in easy to understand terms. Soderlin hourly rates were very reasonable, especially with their team like Joel that have decades of experience. I should have called them months ago to fix my issue. I received a 5 star service experience from them. I saved their business card for my fridge. They are my new go-to plumber for any of my plumbing needs. Thanks Soderlin Plumbing & Heating for the great experience!

Although the clog had resolved itself prior to the visit, Jon performed a thorough Sherlock Holmes-style investigation and gave me meaningful feedback regarding how the clog came to be and how to prevent such situations going forward. Jon also provided me with insight into how we could engage Mr. Rooter to assist with future renovations to our condo in the indeterminate future. Five stars for Jon M. of Mr. Rooter!

Gary Hottman: Purchased a home that had sewer line issues from the home to the street. Cichy repaired the issue with the least amount of disruption to the front yard on a very timely manner. We definitely recommend Cichy if you need water and sewer repair services.

I received quotes from many other contractors and they wanted at least double of what Cichys offered.They also rearranged their schedule to address my emergency. I didn’t ask for this at all and instead they took the initiative to be over on January 2nd!Highly recommend going with Cichy’s for any sewer line issues!
Jo Jo: I had cracks in my sewer line leading out to the street and every year or two had to hire a contractor to grind the roots out. An inspection with a camera was recommended after an Especially long cleaning and one crack was especially troubling with pieces of the clay pipe missing. I had contacted several contractors for an estimate to repair the sewer pipe with a liner. I decided to go with Cichy based on several things including a friends recommendation that also had used them for the same issue, price and also for the fact that they do all the work from the outside so you don’t have to have your basement floor jackhammered which could create a new set of problems. Cichy’s crew showed up prompt both days and worked hard. We stayed in the house while they worked both days and only had a 4 hr period of not to flush the toilet. The final bill came a little over estimate but stipulated what could cause that and my friend who recommended them had their final bill come in under the estimate. The price was still reasonable based on the other estimates. I would highly recommend them to anyone who has a sewer line problem

After Joe inspected it with the camera, it showed that roots were close to the street. He then called the city for me to find out if they plan on doing sewer work when they put in my curbs. He saved me thousands of dollars and is helps the home owners and not a scammer. I truly appreciate what he did and will highly recommend him to anyone. chris hunt: On 4/24/15 - I contacted JMJ sewer for a blockage in my Roseville home sewer line and was very pleased with their courteous and professional care to resolve the issue in a timely manner. Joe and John made numerous attempts to clear the blockage before ultimately having to dig the sewer line up. Before excavating Joe worked nonstop with the city and utility companies to map out the path of the sewer line. JMJ sewer made sure to accurately trace the sewer line path and the location of the blockage before safely digging to correct the issue. Once the blockage was removed, they performed numerous clean outs to ensure my line was clear of any obstructions. The overall cost was very reasonable for the amount of time and work they had to perform to correct the issue. Their professionalism and attention to details made for a pleasant experience. I would not hesitate to recommend JMJ sewer to anyone looking for an honest and caring company at a reasonable price, they were awesome!

Jim eb2jim: Update - Just used Athena Care again for a blown irrigation shut off valve. This had been a hard problem to figure out what had caused the issue to begin with and Paul tracked it down to a valve inside the house. He is always professional, quick, and uses high quality parts. Old review: I have been using Athena Care for twenty years. Paul is a plumber who knows his trade and gets the job done right. He also will give solid advice and share solutions that don’t require his home visit if that is an option. I recommend him highly.

Jim C: We learned we had a partial collapse of our sewer between our house and the city sewer line that caused back-up to the house. Minneapolis & Suburban Sewer was referred to us. They ended up digging down 8-9 feet in the yard and replacing 15 feet of pipe. The didn't know at the onset how much pipe they'd need to replace, but gave us a clear estimate for each likely scenario. The crew arrived on time, worked hard and were incredibly pleasant despite the bitter cold. Our main contact throughout was Ron, who is about the most down-to-earth, honest person you could hope to meet. He came back to the house a couple times after the replacement for some finishing touches on the inside as he had an idea of how we could make our sewer cleanout access look better. He also was readily available on the phone with any questions we had. While these repairs aren't inexpensive, I think Mpls Sewer and Water offer excellent value for money and are entirely trustworthy. Dan Werbowski: We needed a plumber asap. Called others and all want to schedule for tomorrow. Contacted Gopher sewer and drain and told them my situation. They sent Eduardo out and he did an amazing job. Hats off to Gopher Sewer and Drain.
