Smack Shack: what do users think?

Alex Rudie: Stopped in for a late lunch on a rainy day and was able to order off the dinner menu a little early. We got the lobster poutine as a an appetizer, and it came out super hot and fresh. The cheese melted on top was so gooey and delicious. I ordered the stuffed salmon. The salmon was cooked perfectly and flakey, and the lobster stuffing was yummy. The wild rice was a tad sweet but still yummy.

Terry B: lobster roll was beautiful and packed with meat, served with really good Frenchfries. Although I felt it was a bit bland, I would order it again. I would try the hot one next time. It is pricey, they usually are. It was 32.00. The fish taco was great!

Sarah Washington: I've been a loyal customer at Smack Shack for years, and I can't believe I haven't left a review until now. This place deserves a solid five stars, not only for being an exceptional restaurant but also for making me feel like part of their family. The food at Smack Shack is absolutely phenomenal, especially their cheesecake, which I believe is the best in the state, if not the world. The customer service is top-notch, with everyone being incredibly kind and friendly. The cooks at Smack Shack are truly phenomenal, and I believe they have the best chef in town. I've celebrated my birthday there every year since I just turned 44, and it's always been a memorable experience. Even my grandson loves it there, as they are kid-friendly and even have a beautiful patio where you can bring your fur babies.I must also mention the amazing happy hour they offer. The lobster roll is a must-try, and their drinks are top-tier. If you haven't been to Smack Shack yet, I highly recommend you give it a try. And when you do, make sure to mention that Miss Washington sent you!#SmackShackLove #FiveStarExperience #FamilyLikeVibes"#Boom#1Love

Tilia: what do users think?

Joel Abrahamson: Love this place! Every cocktail I've ordered has been spot-on, and the dishes always bring together unexpected flavors. The brunch menu includes chilaquiles, which you don't see everywhere in the Twin Cities.Tilia also has a thoughtful kids menu and not particularly expensive. Top it off with kind servers, and it's well worth it.

Augustin McLaughlin: Pros: Good cocktails, amazing service, cozy interior.Cons: Nothing really.Drank: Two CocktailsRecommend: Yes

Weo Kick: and atmosphere cozy. Our main dishes were a little less mind blowing than the small-dish starters... One was rich but really toooo rich, making it heavier than is enjoyable, while the other entree had outstanding flavors that didn't quite blend as they should... Sharp and tangy beets, grilled cauliflower and minerally fish not melding quite right. The flavors didn't create a symphony, but also kept me intrigued... maybe it has to grow on me? All in all a very good experience and we'll definitely be back to try more original recipes. Happy this unique dining experience exists so nearby.

Mill City Museum: what do users think?

Sandra Pritchard: We thought it would be a quick visit. No, it was well thought out. A 20 minute film on the history of the Mills and Minneapolis. Then the Flour Tower, inspired. I am not going to give away secrets 😁. The whole experience of the Mill City Museum was awesome. It is a must to see. Views of the Mississippi from the observation deck were breathtaking.

It was appropriate for mature adults and school groups. Parking on the street or in a nearby ramp was easy.Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended No …

Richard Erickson: Wonderful museum. About 2 to 3 hours for a visit. Great for kids with lots of hands-on exhibits. The flour tower is a cool exhibit. Great place to introduce people to the history of Minneapolis.

Jillissa Molnari: I recently visited Mill City Museum and was amazed by its rich history and unique setting. The museum, built within the ruins of the Washburn A Mill, offers a captivating glimpse into the revolutionary milling processes that shaped Minneapolis into the flour milling capital of the world in the late 19th century. The museum showcases the technological advancements of the Washburn-Crosby Co., later General Mills, and how it brought fine wheat flour to the masses. Walking through the National Historic Landmark, I could feel the significance of this site and its impact on the local community. The Minnesota Historical Society has done a fantastic job preserving and presenting this important piece of history. A must-visit for history buffs and anyone interested in Minneapolis' industrial heritage. The interactive Flour Tower was amazing, including a ride to the top of the mill and being able to see much of the Mississippi River!

Jeanette Taylor: Enjoyed seeing the history.Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended Not sure …

Samantha Tubbs: If it weren't for the Flour Tower, I might have been disappointed...but it alone is worth the price of admission.

Valentina Contreras: Very nice little museum with a lot history!Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended No …
