Terry B: I look forward to going again and looking closer at what the ship offers and knowing more about it.

Sas B: Best ham and cheese croissant I’ve ever tasted. The staff was really nice too ! I tried a few other treats as well and all of them were just as yummy! Will be stopping by again on my next trip to Minneapolis!

Amy Nelson: The moment you step into this place, you smell the fresh delicious Roma of such sweet delight then you taste the delicious chocolate almond croissants, and you’re just in heaven👍

Lexi Schiffman: Took a cooking class with Nomi & couldn’t have had a better time! Highly recommend!

Michael Benjamin: The Banoffee Croissants were delicious! Super friendly staff. Great atmosphere.

ben delarosa: The French Pastry 101 class was gifted to me for Christmas. It was a really fun class and Chef Zoe was a fantastic instructor. Highly suggest this as a date night thing or with a friend.

AH: Best pastries in town.

Beth Kalin: Excellent service and love the delicious GF baked good options!

Elizabeth Leming: Cooking classI took a cooking class. It was a lot of fun, but we cooked in groups, so it was hard to have a turn at everything. I either felt like I was taking over or missing out.The groups were of six for those classes, so if you have that many you can be your own group.

Cocoa & Fig: what do users think?

Susan Du: Cocoa and Fig created the dessert bar for our wedding. From ordering their sample box to coordinating delivery on the day of the event, working with owner Joe Lin was a breeze. It was important to us that in lieu of a wedding cake, our guests could have their pick of different treats that were elegant, naturally flavored, and not saccharine in the way that cheaper desserts can be. Cocoa and Fig was everything we hoped for. The friends and family were very happy.

Natalie Ives: We hired Cocoa and Fig for our wedding - we wanted to created a dessert table with a variety of desserts. They fit our vision perfectly - our dessert table was not only beautiful but delicious! Joe was great to work with and helped us create the perfect menu of dessert options. We are thrilled with our experience.

Monica Mack: We had a more casual wedding reception party and wanted a mini dessert spread so that guests could grab a treat as they wanted vs. waiting for a cake to be cut and served. We chose Cocoa & Fig and could not have been happier! The dessert sample box was a fun way to try out their different offerings and, when the day came, our guests raved about all the different options. Favorites were the mini key lime pie and butterscotch shooters! We ended up adding a small 6" cake to round out the dessert display and saved that to enjoy after the event. It was as delicious as everything else! Best buttercream we have ever had.

Jenna Younce: We are so thrilled we ended up with Cocoa and Fig for our wedding day. After a few last minute changes and a wedding postponement, Cocoa and Fig made all of our wedding cake dreams come true! They accommodated a special flavor request and it was the most delicious wedding cake that we have ever had. The flavor, serving sizes, and elegance of the cake was so amazing!! Working with Joe, the owner, was also so wonderful! He is so kind and made the whole experience special. We would recommend Cocoa and Fig to anyone and everyone that is looking for a top notch bakery and wedding vendor!! Thank you thank you Cocoa and Fig!!

Allie Stafford: , flourless chocolate mini cakes, and mini fruit tarts, they were all gone within minutes

Jake Mathieu: We hired Cocoa & Fig to cater desserts at our wedding. We had a series of mini desserts and a small cake. The desserts were delivered and set up by Cocoa & Fig staff in a beautiful spread. The cake design perfectly matched the photo we sent in and the strawberry champagne flavor was one of the best tasting cakes we ever had. The mini desserts were a huge hit at the wedding. We ordered the recommended amount based on the amount of people we had at the wedding and the entire table was cleared out by the end of the night which shows how much people enjoyed them. They were very easy to work with and accommodating when our wedding had to be rescheduled during Covid. We would highly recommend!

Diana White: I love the frosting on their cupcakes . We have ordered custom cakes from here and they are always delicious. I wish they still had their edina location.

C Weil: Cocoa and Fig made a small wedding cake for our son's small wedding and it was beautiful and absolutely delicious! The very best chocolate cake I have ever tasted--and I have tasted a lot.

Hannah Elliott: Cocoa and Fig was a great vendor to work with for our wedding dessert needs. My wife and I wanted cupcakes for our wedding and tried 6 different vendors prior to going with Cocoa & Fig. We decided to go with Cocoa and Fig due to high quality cupcakes, amazing classic and unique flavor profiles, and supporting a local business. Joe, the owner, brought us in for a personal tasting where we were able to sample and learn more about the process of making and transporting these wonderful cupcakes. We were sold and had a hard time deciding on which flavors to choose! Also, we had to make a last second change to the delivery location of the cupcakes. Joe got back to us promptly the day of the wedding to make sure the cupcakes made it to the right place. We highly recommend Cocoa and Fig as your dessert vendor for a wedding or get together big or small.

Sukanya Narayanan: In a very short notice of 48 hours, Cocoa and fig gave me a custom cake which no other bakeries did. They quickly understood my requirement, gave their suggestions and within hours they started working on the cake. I went with their sinfully chocolate and it's a must try cake for cake lovers. It was in perfect sweetness and the guests at our party kept asking for more and some had the cake packed and took it home.Theypacked it neatly and the delivery was on time. I would definitely recommend this shop for my friends for any of their special occasions. They have very good clarity of thought and they exactly understand what the customer wants. Overall a very satisfying purchase.

Jason Anderson: Always the best. I've been a customer since 2012.

Heather Ludzack: Absolutely amazing. Delicious and stunning presentation!

Aki's BreadHaus: what do users think?

Drake Friesen: Amazing German bakery!

Sarah Huntley: Always good, always fresh. My kids attend school in NE so a morning snack makes them happy. My sister in law is German and I tried this place first in Osseo. I’m so happy that they are in NE. Everything is good! Trying the Pretzel with cranberry mustard today, rosemary garlic bread and the ever trustworthy cinnamon stick for the kids.

Julie Dustin: My husband was in Germany for 2 years and loves Brötchen. I saw the bakery had them and I went with my sister yesterday and bought a dozen. I surprised him with a traditional German meal like we had when we visited Germany a couple years ago. I had cheese, meat, broetchen and some German wine on the table when he came home. He was so excited! It brought back so many memories of us pulling up to a picnic area and having our lunch enjoying beautiful Germany! Also I found my German family still living there in the small village my Great Grandfather was born in!

Miku Fan USA: , I have never, ever seen Aki's actually OPEN for business!Obviously, they are open most every day, but "day" being the important word here - Aki's has never been open during the late nights when I frequent Fair State. I remember fondly that when Fair State opened, they built a small pass-through window directly into the Aki's bakery area - allowing for direct sales and delicious smells to waft through the brewery! Ah, those were the days, right? In any case, imagine my surprise when I walked by the Aki's on the way to FS to discover that the bakery is now occasionally open until 7 pm! Immediately, ordered myself a beer at FS, followed by a trip over to Aki's for a pretzel. Wonderful, as always. Served with several options for mustards, the store offers breads and brotchen, too. It's "no frills" inside, and very small in size, but happy to get a pretzel to eat with my Fair State beers! They were just closing when I arrived there, so most of their stock of breads were gone. But someday I'll catch them in the morning!

M H: . I'm a weekly customer...Recommended dishes Berliner Roll, Pretzels, Rolls, Warm Pretzel Stick …

Oliver C: I honestly believe that they have the best breads in MN, and really good soup, however, the cashiers that work there are something else…. Especially the one on Tuesdays. I was putting a loaf of bread in the bag in front of her, because she didn’t do it properly, then suddenly she yelled at me to move out of the way for someone who was behind me who was not there a second ago. Because she was so rude, I told her that I would move when I am done. She then asked me aloud if I paid for the bread in a tone that was accusing me ….of not paying…for ….the thing is she is the one who took the money from me only a few minutes ago….at this point it was rather ridiculous, so I said ‘no, I stole it’ to which she could not say anything….I find her rather entertaining really… I will make sure that I will go back for the good bread and a woman from the cave…..for her rudeness….

MyGoogle Player: Great pastries, both savory and sweet options. Fresh pretzels are awesome and some good rye bread options.Recommended dishes Sourdough Wheat, Berliner Roll, Pretzels, Peach Streusel …

Jessica Giese: This bakery is hands down the best in the Twin Cities. Everything from the bread loafs to the desserts is such high quality. The prices are also unbeatable. Thank you Aki for being such an amazing spot for baked goods!

Reilly Miller: this is a bakery for all the people who went to Germany, experienced the bread culture there, and returned to Minneapolis hoping to find bread that tastes, smells, and feels like what they had in Europe.——————This bakery is really special and so is the family that owns it.Dietary restrictions: Vegan folks can leave satisfied

Sarah Austin: Love the bread, but wish they would have updated Google for holiday hours. They're closed through January 3rd.

Butter Bakery Cafe: what do users think?

Joel Abrahamson: A cozy place to gather with friends! Love the coffee and baked goods. The eclairs are famous. Try the Clint-style breakfast sandwich with avocado, garlic mayo, and sprouts on a fresh biscuit — my favorite! Recently recognized as best sandwich of SW Minneapolis. Lunch brings more delicious sandwich and salad options: turkey burgers, beet burgers, pesto are often my go-to.Butter is also notable for their ecological ethic: minimizing waste through organics recycling and new ideas like reusable takeout containers.Evenings often have performances and discussions, or maybe a pop-up from the Curry Diva. Bring your big group and reserve the long community table indoors. Outdoor patio space also available.Parking: A small parking lot behind the building

Sam Literski: Heads up to others that they don't sell loaves of bread here, only pastries and other baked goods.

A Baker's Wife's Pastry Shop: what do users think?

Ashley Chmielewski: Delicious donuts. 🍩 Reasonably priced.

Julie Lo: and upon checking the receipt, I noticed I was charged incorrectly. I was charged 20 glazed and 10 frosted donuts. Worked out for me because the glazed was cheaper than the frosted and it basically covered my missing donut anyways . Despite this, the donuts are really good, but the service was disappointing.

jericho hunter: . All I did was ask a simple question, “is this the way into the woods?”, after their prompt, UNHELPFUL response I left. Upon exiting the establishment, an endearing character approached me, “M..milky White, is that you..?” a smile wiped itself across my face, a familiar friend indeed! BUT……. To my absolute dismay, her head was missing! I looked around, completely bewitched… SHWOP! A rock hard object came soaring towards my face. On the floor I dropped covered in blood, “oh providence my milky white!”. With me were three witnesses: Jack, The Baker and none other than the culprit The wife of the Baker!Wheelchair accessibility: I left in a wheelchair.

Jasmine Baranova-Hart: it was a decent experience overall, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was very inviting.minus points for the cow head thrown at me upon arrival though x

Thirsty Whale Bakery: what do users think?

Alex Trembley: I’m not sure what to say about TWB that hasn’t been said in the hundreds of positive reviews before me. If you purchase a cake here, prepare to be blown away by the love and detail added to it. The staff is incredible and they will 100% work with you to support your budget and still produce something amazing. This is a small business worth supporting even in difficult financial times.Parking: Street parking is available and it’s usually pretty chillKid-friendliness: The cakes they produce are meant for everyone, including kids!

Leslie Lorentzen: Thirsty Whale was who we went with for our wedding cake. The tasting box was phenomenal. Only wish is that we could have met with someone about the design of our cake - we did send them photos for inspiration and it turned out really well! We only had a bite of the cake ourselves as we were busy running around, but I heard from others that the flavor and texture were great! A good experience and we loved working with Thirsty Whale!

amy siegel: I was lucky enough to have two cakes from thirsty whale and they executed the vision PERFECTLY on both and were so good about checking in with me and made the payment process super easy! The sponge was delicious and the fudge in the center was incredible! Cant wait to order many more goodies from them in the future and also try their peanut butter buddy cookies!!!

Concert Minneapolis: Always great. As of 2-20-24 i would confirm if they are open. Last i know os they are going thru a transition.Parking: If you can't find a spot on the street, Drive around to the back and they have a big area to park.

Andrew Voight: Probably the best donuts that we have had in the twin cities, hands down. My wife and I were looking for a new shop to try that we’d never been to before, and we saw this place had some pretty good reviews, and they are 100% deserved. The gentleman behind the counter that helped us was genuinely excited to have us in their shop, and about their products. He walked us through every donut they had, and gave us his recommendations. There was also a donut that they were “testing out” that had a pineapple filling that was extraordinary. It was topped with a mango icing and white chocolate flakes. Keep working on that, because that pineapple filling needs to be featured in a donut for sure. I’ll be back on a monthly cadence for the maple bacon donut, because the filling inside of that thing just might possibly be the key to world peace. Great bakery.

Nope Nadda: I had heard about these guys for months at least 6 months. So then I finally was going to swing by and they were closed permanently!! And I don't know how I found out that someone saved the day but as soon as I could I went in there to try them out finally... Turns out I AM a donut guy. I was just waiting for someone to make a key lime pie donut and they did it so diabetes here I come!

Rebecca's Bakery: what do users think?

Michelle Benson: Rebecca's European inspired pastries are addicting and luscious. They are not with sugary frostings or artificial flavors but home whipped cream frostings and real fresh fruit folded into layer cakes. The cannoli's are filled with slightly tart and sweet filling dipped in chocolate. My favorite is the Millefoglie, a flaky puff pastry layered with a rich whipped cream that is indescribable! There are too many creations to list but I guarantee, you WILL not find anyplace like Rebecca's.

Joel Abrahamson: .I also enjoy visiting Rebecca's for breakfast and lunch! The lunch menu has incredible

Daniel Bai: Food: 5/5

Cindy Mosher: I'm so happy they are open late 7 days a week. SO SO GOOD. So friendly was such a pleasant experience... im definitely going backVegetarian options: CakesParking: Parking is located in front and in back of the building

Sarah Staiger: The owners are kind and welcoming and everything is delicious. Beyond delicious. I bought a half sheet chocolate cake with Oreo for my daughter’s bday and it was the most moist and flavorful chocolate cake I’ve had. That cream! So amazing. Thank you! Everything else I’ve had is great as well. Coffee is excellent.Kid-friendliness: Engaging and fun for the kids to see all the lovely baked things.

A Piece Of Cake: what do users think?

Katy Palafox: I got the chocolate cake. It was not the best chocolate cake or one of the top 5. If the name of the store is 'A Peice Of Cake' then the display chocolate cake should be one of the top 5? Top 7? I think it was 7 and some change or tax or something.Edit: OK I went back and got something different and it was great. I've went back a few times. 5 stars

Heather Zahasky: I am going to miss that bakery and restaurant. It was a great place my family had the holiday's at. Great job at keeping your dream alive, Mary.

Randy Ruckdashel: Sad to see this place closing forever today. Awesome food and baked goods! Difficult parking situation.

Karla Fenstermaker: We will miss you!

Wes Thomsen: Great Sunday morning spot with ridiculously good carrot cake.

Wild Jordan: Great place with delicious and moist cakes and cookies! Service is magnificent every time! Please tip! It’s worth it!

Hannah P: Delicious cake—order more than you think you need! We ordered a half-sheet marble cake and our group of about 20 nearly ate the whole thing! Staff were really helpful and responsive, pickup was super easy and worked with our schedule.

Tara Cantwell: Even folks who don't usually like cake enjoyed it. Will definitely order again.

Angel Lee: I ordered a red velvet birthday cake for my SO this past weekend and it was lovely! I don't even like cake but it was moist and very tasty. The frosting was also amazing. The staff were very nice and helpful! I wish I got a picture of the cake but we were too excited to eat it.

Abdullah Almamun: Good food.

Cedrick Jones: I have only had dessert but it was some of the best that I have had in the twin cities. Love this place!

Katie Pope: kouign amann, and almond poppy citrus bread. It gets crowded on the weekends but if you can snag a seat inside or on the patio, the atmosphere is really nice. Walk right over to the lake if you’d rather take your food to go!I even ordered my wedding cake from Black Walnut! The cake was a masterpiece and delicious at the same time, and that's hard to find...not to mention they have amazing customer service, including responses to emails and calls... This is the place for all your cake needs!!

Beth Gasser: This shop is amazing! We bought a variety of flavors. Cakes is moist and tasty. Classic and unique flavors. I had a coconut one that was amazing. Red Velvet was wonderful too. Highly recommend.

Jason Ostenson: Sweet Retreat Cupcake Boutique has gourmet cupcakes, cakes and mini bunts. The cupcakes are nothing spectacular. It appears to be all about the frosting. The frosting is sweet, flavorful and delicious. I'm more of a cupcake person than a frosting person so 4 stars. The frosting people loved them. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Enjoy your treat!

Dan Lewis: took matters in to her own hands and went and picked up our cupcakes from the other customers house and delivered them to our house. They had also gotten the order slightly wrong, so Stephanie felt so bad and as the owner knew what to do to make her customers happy. She went so above and beyond to make us

Jeimy Rosario: Great cakes and sweets

Hanna Gilsvik: Was very happy with the cake that Sweet Retreat designed for me for my mom's retirement! The raspberry chocolate interior was moist and delicious and everyone loved it. Would definitely utilize them again for my fancy cake needs!

Sarah Mendoza-Shelton: I am very picky about my baked goods, and I have now found my favorite bakery in the twin cities! Cinnamon roll texture was just right, fluffy yet substantial, and the sweetness was perfect. I usually scrape off most of the frosting on cinnamon rolls because it's too sweet. Not the case with these babies! Savory scone was flavorful and texture was perfect, light and slightly crummy without being dried out. Pumpkin scone was delicious. Polish roll was a pleasant surprise with perfectly spiced peppery filling. Nom nom nom!
