I went to Dr. Hennen for the first time recently after I noticed vision changes and found I needed cataract surgery on both eyes. She has done this surgery and I couldn’t be happier by her very excellent, competent care. I absolutely trust her skill and knowledge and direct professional manner.The person who takes messages for her office is always responsive and helpful. The location is super convenient in Minneapolis Uptown area with loads of parking. Thanks so much!

Scott Fraser: Highly recommended. I had an eye emergency come up on a Sunday night that was initially treated at a local ER. Even though I wasn't a previous patient of Dr. Hennen's, they referred me to her and she came into her office to see me hours before her normal working hours the next morning. Very professional, excellent at telling me what was going on and what to expect going forward. Even answered a couple of follow-up e-mail questions I had on the same day. Just great all the way around.

B Davis: I had a fine experience here. Dr. Lee not only addressed my double vision with a new eyeglass prescription, he ordered an MRI to make sure my unusual eyesight wasn't being caused by something more serious. I was relieved to learn that it wasn't something serious. It was a good experience.

Kristine Barker: Easy to find, public parking in parking garage easy to access and staff very friendly and knowledgeable. FYI: you do have to pay for parking and wait times can be longer then expected, but as far as the wait time they don't rush you and are very thorough.
Mira LaCous: The doctors at UofM Eye are extremely knowledgeable and ready to treat serious eye conditions, as well as help to maintain eyes that are in trouble. They have all been extremely caring and helpful, while listening to needs and concerns and educating on options. They are very busy, so do expect some long appointment times, as they are doing many surgery follow-ups and 'emergency' visits between general visits. Know that when you are seen, you will get the same caring attention.

He talked me about cataract surgery & because I had quite an extensive Stigmatism in my left eye he discussed with me about having a lens put in my eye. When I walked out of his office, I felt comfortable, well informed and ready for surgery in a few weeks.

Spencer Nelson: I'm of the opinion that choosing to have Lasik is a very big decision. Any surgical procedure having to do with your eyes can be a scary proposition. I have been contemplating Lasik for a few years before I went with Joffe. I did my due diligence and visited 3 Lasik providers in the area. Joffe stood out with there friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere. I felt as if they understood the importance of this decision and respected my time and opinion. The procedure itself was amazing, Dr. Heuer was very reassuring the entire time and explained what was happening and why. I couldn't be happier with the results. I can see without the need for any contacts or glasses a mere 4 hours after the procedure. I will recommend Joffe and Dr. Heuer to anyone interested in getting Lasik.

Bob Olson: I would highly recommend Joffe MediCenter for lasik surgery. I’m a 59 year old male who has enjoyed good vision for most of my life. In my early 40s I started using cheaters to read and within the last 5 years have needed prescription glasses to drive. I’d been thinking about lasik and wondered how it could help me. I did some research , read reviews and decided to go with Joffe. I called and set a time for a free consultation . I found there staff to be very friendly and knowledgeable. After a thorough eye exam I was told I was a good candidate for lasik and shown what my vision would be like after. I was told about payment plans, in my case I was able to use HCSA funds. A week later had the surgery, it was quick and painless, the next day went in for a follow up exam and I had 20-20 vision. It’s been 2 weeks since surgery and had last exam today, all is well seeing 20-20 which is great but the biggest surprise is my mid range vision has improved greatly, watching tv- computer etc. also my reading glasses have gone from +275 to + 150 . I’m very happy with results and would recommend Joffe to family and friends, Thank You Joffe Bob.
Gventures: Great staff, easy process. Took all of half an hour to do the surgery and I was on my way. No pain, no problems, just a quick, easy process. Woke up in the morning with....Vision! No contacts, no glasses, I could see. A little cloudy here and there due to dry eyes, a normal part of the healing process. It hasn't even been a full day though and my vision is perfect as if I had my contacts in. Over the next few days and weeks it will only get better as it stabilizes and I'm so glad I made this investment. My sister had LASIK done at Joffe 7 years ago and said it was the best thing she has done with her money. Couldn't agree more! Thanks, people over at Joffe

Dr. McHugh: Just had my eyes checked for the first time. Dr. Sanderson and his staff were very friendly and punctual. I could tell right away that Dr. Sanderson has been doing this for quite some time. He has a great bedside manner and is very knowledgeable. My family goes here as well and are very happy.

Needless to say I was uneasy - to say the least - at the prospect of laser surgery. Dr Patterson was able to make this a virtually painless process. Notwithstanding, I tend to believe his work likely goes without the special thanks it deserves so, Thank you again Dr. Patterson, Dr. Sanderson, and all the friendly and profession staff. Especially given the COVID restrictions.

Daughter of the King: Dr Patterson went above and beyond and ultimately saved my sight. I was previously misdiagnosed, but through his knowledge and expertise, he found the cause of the infection. He is very thorough, friendly, and even stayed late. Was extremely impressed!
Eli Mash: I've been wearing contacts for 10 years. Approximately 6 years ago, I went to monthly contact lenses and within that time frame, have slowly progressed further down the negative spectrum, most recently being at -1.75.Dr. Moss and his team identified that my sight should actually be closer to -1.25: -1.5 dependent on the eye. Additionally, the team properly diagnosed that my contacts were irritating my eyes and directed me to a daily lens that wouldn't be an irritant. They also provided me with eye drops that would clear up the irritation.I'm grateful to the team, as my eyesight is clearer and my eyes are not constantly itchy. I've seen multiple doctors over the past few years, as I've moved and not one was able to properly identify these things.

Sue Ponsford: I've been a patient at McCannel for the past few years. Their attention to my well being is what sets them apart from other health practitioners I see. They always take the time to gather thorough information abou,t not only my vision, but my general health. Another great thing about the McCannel team is their availability--they follow old school doctoring rules. If you have a concern after hours, you can actually reach one of them, in person if needed. This is so rare for doctors in general but something I've never experienced in my 20 plus years of navigating fussy eyes. Keep up the great work!!

Lisa Adams: I started seeing Dr. Sheffer after I took my dad to see her. She is very energetic, always smiling. She is very friendly and always asks if I have questions or is there anything else I need. She is very thorough. She answered all my questions and explains things well.
Rick Evoniuk: What to say... Hmm... Dr. Sheffer will be my new eye doctor going forward!I had mono vision Lasik in 2011 and still read just fine with my left eye. My right eye, corrected for distance now needed some correction. The last eye doctor I saw shot down the idea of me having just one contact. Dr. Sheffer however was completely open to the idea. I couldn't be happier about that, bye-bye glasses!

Kris Hennum: So glad I went to Chu Vision for my cataract surgery. Everyone there makes a special effort to keep you informed and make you feel comfortable. Very professional and kind. Im thrilled to be able to see things so clearly now.
Tom Muelken: Everything was wonderful, but I did wait an awfully long time when I was in for the right eye. I was there at 6:20 and did not have surgery until almost 7:30. My eyes are doing great and my far vision has improved greatly.

There was a nice size waiting room. The thing that I noticed most was that the PATIENTS that did most of the bragging about their care received at Chu Vision. They have the standard rotating video that explains what they do and the places they have been recognized, but the patients were the ones talking amongst themselves about how great the staff is and the level of care they receive.The treatment areas and exams rooms are normal rooms with normal eye charts and eye devices, but they have AMAZING sterile technique, with a state of the art enclave

With the exception of one nurse anesthetist, who was somewhat less personable than the norm, the entire staff was incredible. They are knowledgeable, professional, helpful, friendly, and follow through with what they say they’ll do. Dr Chu has crafted a very well run eye care institute.
