Bee Thao: Great place for local live bait and all your outdoor needs whether it be camping, hunting, fishing, or skiingThey got you covered!Great staff as always!Recommended

Repair Lair: what do users think?

North Seelinger: Friendliest store I've been to in a long, long time! Staff is knowledgeable and super helpful!

Mary Schuster: I’m a town from NM and needed a pair of hiking boots. We called the shop the day before to see if they would have anything in my size. When arriving the next day they had all my sizes laid out even thought they didn’t know for sure I was going to come. Nice quality product and super friendly/helpful service.

Mary Ann Van Cura: An acquaintance told me they had successfully repaired the zippers on some camping equipment. I stopped by today because I had a vinyl covered cushion with a challenging, separated zipper. They fixed it and secured it within 20 minutes. So grateful. And everyone was pleasant, attentive, informed.

Jess Drury: in under 30 minutes, offered a cash discount, and the repairs were excellent! Love this place.

Tim Pellenbarg: Sold me a used, but seemingly mint condition Arcteryx Solano hoody.

Oceana Goldwater: , and after that, another store wanted to overcharge me. The two young men working there were amiable, and they took a look at my down jacket and were able to fix the zipper in 5 minutes. As for my purse, I left it there for about a week, and they called me when it was ready to pick up. I was thrilled with the result, and the fees were very reasonable. I think it would be a good idea to repair the lair. Good job, and Thank you.Update as 03/2024:I used their service again recently. The rate has gone up, but it's understandable. I took a winter extra-long jacket to replace the zip. They were able to fix it in a few days. They have moved to a new location, but the service is still on the same stand. I recommend them.

Liz Pearson: This is a great place to go if you are looking for a new pack or clothes. It's a great way to recycle your gear or get it repaired.

Joseph Heili: They helped me out same day with a new zipper for my jacket, and I got a sweet deal on some hardly used hiking boots. What a perfect place for outdoor gear!

Vvv Gm: great place...wow

Rachael Sand: on Minnehaha Avenue and support a truly invaluable local business. Why replace when you can repair?

Noah Kreider Carlson: Legendary

Bradley Slowinski: New location, same great service. I always take my packs here to get new patches put on. Same with jerseys, jackets, and bowling shirts. They're respectful, timely, and prices are fair. Definitely go here for your repair needs!

Robb Stephens: This place is great. I have had several Duluth packs repaired here. Yesterday, I brought in a pack that had some seams on the shoulder straps starting to pop. They fixed it while I waited and only charged me $25. Help is always friendly and the new location on Minnehaha Avenue is far easier to get to.

Tim Johnson: Great shop to find used gear!

Freewheel Bike Midtown Bike Center: what do users think?

Amelie Collins: I bought an ebike from this location a year ago after I demoed one at a bike to work day. I quickly put on 1000 miles last summer. And commuted 40 miles 2 or 3 times a week since it was so much easier. All the people at this location were so helpful and nice. I got into a crash later in the season and thought I would be in for a really expensive repair but Chris made the wheel true and fixed the spokes and everything for $40. That was such a huge relief. Right now this place is temporarily closed but I hope they can open soon because I really love it.

Paul Van Der Werf: Great service in fixing my bike. Great nitro cold brew as well!

Alec Fotsch: Really great team both in the shop and on the sales floor. This is my go to place! Also, the freewheel fanatics program is great for a 20% off coupon once a month and 10% off parts!

Dayna Landgrebe: Fast service and quick turnaround for a tune-up this spring. Thanks!

Cody: Highly recommend making this your first stop when bike shopping

The House Outdoor Store: what do users think?

Charles Webster:

Hudson Ritter:

Dave Reiche:

Brandon Putra:

Scott Workman:

Anthony Ancheta:

Kevin Burns: Very helpful and informative staff!

Charles: The store is easy to navigate, the employees were helpful and I found the camping cot I was looking for.

Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory: what do users think?

john johnson: and oh my god it is quite possibly the most delectable treat to ever make contact with my tongue. I feel blessed, I was just going to have a bite because I’m slightly allergic to apples but dear god whatever reaction my body may give me let it come down on me for I will never relinquish my apple eating in my life ever again after this, at first I could only bite through whatever white stuff and oreo there was on the apple and I was like damn this is pretty good but THEN I got to the apple and it was like a whole new world. truly an experience. I’m from out of town but I may make the trip again solely for the crisp juicy chocolately apple this establishment offers. I felt like the apple was beckoning me to eat it and I was floating in the air with heart eyes towards it. I had no idea this combination was so good, I thought it looked interesting but never expected it to be good. I don’t know if you guys came up with the idea of a dirt n worms apple but if you did, revolutionary idea. if you didn’t, amazing execution. I feel like the apple is a part of me now.

Brittny Cantele: So many yummy options to choose from! Plus the staff was super friendly. Definitely recommend to all the MOA goers looking for a sweet treat!!!

Arrius Piso (Aaron Ruiz): Great space

Tom Schmidt: Best place for a chocolate lover at MoA!! And the selection of caramel apples is incredible! If you haven’t tried the Avalanche Bark you’re missing out on the sweetest treat anywhere.

Isaac Kern: Good food but a bit pricey.

Kassandra Undine: Kayla was so sweet and helpful! I was just making a small purchase, but her customer service was memorable. 10/10 will def come by for a snack againEdit: the next day I was served by Jess, who was also fantastic!

Nathan Minten: White Chocolate Patty was pretty good. 4 out of 5.

rose lilith: I came in today and had such an amazing experience with a young african american girl with a purple apron. She was so helpful when it came to recommending products and she even took the time to engage in conversation with my children. All around amazing customer service and pretty good chocolate too!!

Beth Gasser: Stopped by for a gift and a dark chocolate covered cherry. Yummy!

Patagonia: what do users think?

Steve Benton: Great staff, clothing and gear 😊

Dale Weston: Very accommodating 👍

Nolan Olsen: Charolette was incredibly helpful from the second we entered the store. Extremely professional and was able to answer all our questions on repairs and otherwise. A reminder why Patagonia is such an incredible company- clearly hiring staff that care. Would recommend and will be recommending to all who haven’t purchased Patagonia gear prior. Cheers

Brian Paulus: Incredible customer service. Everyone is very kind and informative! Great products. Phenomenal warranty program.

alexander newbauer: Went in for a zipper repair on a8 yr old shell and they threw me a fresh replacement instead. Sad to see the oldie go but happy they hooked it up.

Brian Sobas: Incredible customer service.

David Herrera Santacruz: First and foremost, I love Patagonia products and philosophy. It’s what brought me to support them 10 years ago.The employees at this site are incredibly helpful, kind, and patient. Specifically, Jordan offered me help twice on different times and made me feel incredibly comfortable as I weighed different options.Everyone is so kind that I actually see visiting the store as a treat.

Greg Couves: Patagonia is amazing and it's not an empty statement to say I'm a convert for life.Someone burned a hole in my Tres Parka. I took it into the store for a repair but they looked at it and determined the repair wouldn't have worked, so they immediately swapped out my damaged parka for a new one. No charge under their lifetime warranty. They'll donate or recycle the undamaged liner of my old parka. What an amazing company, with fantastic staff at the Grand Ave store. I'll be back many more times.

John Beumer: Fantastic associates - knowledgeable, nice, and always willing to go the extra mile. And as always great quality goods.

Lisa Carmichael: Cute store with everything Patagonia. Women’s, Men’s, Kids, and Newborn. Fitting rooms and a play area for kids. Jackets, snow pants, vests, sweaters, tshirts, gloves backpacks, hats, and the list goes on. Clean space. Helpful associates. Parking is tricky if you don’t know there’s a parking lot across the street.

Justin Young: The staff at this location is always so top notch. It’s easier for me to buy online but that’s a mistake when instead I’m able to get support from the folks that work at the store. Every single time I’ve left extremely satisfied. Keep up the great work.

cory voight: So I think I'm a Patagonia customer for life. My jacket ripped while I was working last year. Brought it in because I knew they had a fix it program that was free. They said my patch was to big to guarantee it wouldn't fail. So they just swapped it out completly free. Lifetime warranty. Anything they can't fix, and take in as a warranty they either patch as best they can and donate, or recycle them into making another jacket. Pretty cool to see the companies core values at work.

Juliana Brown: - and true to their word Patagonia took it back, and helped me find a replacement. All set for the next 10+years with my new upgrade :

Tangletown Bike Shop: what do users think?

Helios “Sol” Corvid: Great medium sized bike shop for the area! They didn't have what I was looking for, but they were super helpful. I'm on the market for a class 2 e-bike and they only have class ones. But the sales clerk was very helpful and informative! I will definitely consider returning if I'm in need of anything else!

caeley: Absolutely love every experience I have walking into the shop. Never been met with anything other than a friendly face, great advice and the absolute best dog!

Drake Friesen: Awesome bike shop!

Jake Coleman: Rented 2 e-bikes for our visit last weekend and we could not have been more pleased. The bikes were waiting for us when we arrived and staff were friendly and helpful. 5 extra stars for Minneapolis and the Grand Rounds bike path! Thanks Tangletown bike shop!

Clare Heggie: I rented a bike here while visiting and had a great experience. They have actual road bikes so it’s a good alternative to the bike shares if you’re used to riding something nicer/more lightweight at home and want to do longer rides.

Jeff Paske: This is the last twin cities bike shop you’ll need to find. Within these walls you’ll find the absolute best people, with the most knowledge, and the most approachability of anyone in town. I’ve had the pleasure of a few different projects through Tangletown and I have nothing but stellar things to say about every aspect of the builds. This is true for my wife as well, where she was treated with nothing but respect and the genuine desire to help her prepare for a duathlon. Whether it’s a new bike, service, a rental for the day, or parts and accessories, or bike bags - check ‘em out! They’ve got you covered. You won’t regret it.

Donna Gerein: I'm looking to purchase an ebike and the staff here have taken time to show me what they can do!

Zeke Rice: Great shop and people. Thanks for steering me to the best bike for me, and an excellent tuneup on my husband’s bike that had suffered from a few years on non-use.

Connor Carroll: Outstanding local bike shop with very reasonable repair prices and a nice selection of affordably priced gear and accessories. Patrick & Nick in the shop do great work, fast, and are often answering random bike maintenance questions from me which is super helpful. Make this your local bike shop!

Sheila Vossler: Had the best experience ever renting from here. I reserved online and walked in the store and was out in less than 5 minutes. The bike was amazing, comfortable and well maintained. I would highly recommend renting from here and plan to again for my next visit.

Payton Hrics: Great bike shop and service. Right near Grand Round trail. We rented bikes and the employees were wonderful! Great dog on-site, Bella. Better bikes than those around Chain of Lakes.

Joe Schilling: Fantastic spot to rent a bike in Minneapolis. I made an online reservation the night before and the bike was waiting for me when I arrived. Mike made a couple of seat adjustments, gave me a helmet and a lock and I was on my merry way. The hybrid bike performed great on Minneapolis's fabulous lakeside/riverside trails and on the bike lanes downtown.

Steve Rawlins: Knowledgeable, friendly staff to help with purchase or repair. Good location.

Scott Nass: What a great experience with these pros. Brought my ebike in basically off the street and Patrick put it on the stand and fixed my shifting problem in minutes on a busy Saturday. So satisfying to find pleasant people who are so good at their jobs. Thanks.

Charlie Murray: Nick & Mike of Tangletown Bike Shop are top shelf full service neighborhood assets. They offer full bike service, bike rentals and new bikes and parts. I've enjoyed their expertise and deep bike knowledge to create a dream project as well as upgrade a used bike for my son. I'm thankful to have such an honest and dependable bike shop in the area to ensure we keep rolling and have a destination to ride to for picking up the next hot bike accessory!

Peter Forbes: Great shop and helpful crew

Hank Papritz: One of the few bicycle shops in the area that offers rentals and the rentals were in really great shape, the price was reasonable, and the service was great too. We got a flat tire on our ride and didn't have a patch kit with us so someone from the shop drove out and swapped out the tube and tire for us. Highly recommended!
