Source Comics & Games: what do users think?

Joseph Gosewisch: Always a good time.

Kat: This is our second time visiting the area and of course we had to stop in to the Source. It's basically nerd heaven, or at least what I'd think nerd heaven looks like. There is something for everyone's flavor of hobby. It's so much fun to just walk around and look at everything. The place is huge with so many things to check out and not enough time in the day to do it. Staff is so friendly and really a delight, I can't imagine this place isn't fun to work at. Wish we lived closer!

Chris Wesrmn: Outgoing staff. When I had difficulty someone was helpful.

Kehtari Scott: They were so Amazing 👏🏾 🤩

Mike Carlson: If your looking for something.... its here. I love going here.

Wayne Johnson: . I never leave without buying something!

Bob Engelstad: Great store selection and their staff were very helpful

Michael Gabiou: Friendly and knowledgeable staff.

Kim DeRider: Huge selection and always friendly.

Albert Danielson: A big space for all your nerdy needs. Warhammer, Magic the Gathering, and comics are the main pulls, but they have manga, gunpla, various board and card games, packs of Yugioh, a station for Pokemon, shelves of other TCG/CCG games like Dragonball Super, and much more. Weekly card game tournaments. Polite staff. Solid website with a lot of the info you may need. Get the discount card if you are spending over $100 here in a year. Didn't find a customer wifi setup. Lots of food nearby for before and after shopping. Located conveniently on Snelling Ave near A stop for the A Line rapid transit bus.

J Micah A: Love this place.

Marti Benson: A good selection of items, knowledgeable staff, and a nice open place to play. They have fun gaming events. It's a good place to get to know people who like what you like.

Smc: This place lives up to the hype. D&D, Comic books, Manga, all types of gaming here. The staff is knowledgable and friendly and the price are very fair. I think they don't have it. You might be out of luck locally. Definitely check them out.

Heather Schultz: There's something for everyone. Large space for gaming

Missy Isles: Awesome store! They have a great selection of graphic novels and games. There is a big playing area.

Finnbar Hodges: Great "nerdy" store, a fine selection of comics, roleplaying supplies, books, and much more. Would definitely recommend if you're into those sorts of things. The D&D corner is always kept tidy for those who want to play, which I really appreciate. The staff is helpful and usually more than willing to explain what you're buying if you don't understand.

TOMODACHI Mall of America: what do users think?

Kathren Tainter: Very helpful, love the variety of items. From BTS to Hello Kitty.

Shane 710: This guy has an awesome collection, go check him out here or online

Christy K: Very cool store. The owner was nice and super helpful. Bummer they are moving but I am sure the new store will be just as cool!

Rachel Goat: The older staff member was so nice! He said they were changing locations so they didn’t have as much stuff as they usually do. They had some really cute Sanrio stuff! They also had some Asian snacks in the back.

Baka Lobo: Tomodachi has been a routine stop for many years. A unique shop with a lot of heart behind it. Lately I've gravitated more towards the snacks and coffee, ramune and such but it's always fun to browse the Sanrio merch and other cute knick knacks.

Melissa Rose: Super cute store in Mall of America.

Jonathan Beltran: Interesting store, lots of hard to find Japanese snacks

Carmen Lara Molina: very new and comfortable prices

Mark Laska: A surprising find! At first, I was curious by seeing figurines from anime. I thought that I would venture in to find something for the kids. Soon I found myself walking the aisles to find new solutions to every day needs. Various things for the kitchen such as dishes, chopsticks 🥢 and even a scissor holder. You really need to check this out for yourself.

Mateo Burgos: I came here and walked the whole mall for something kpop related but the only thing they had was a tata bt21 plushie for 70$ 😭 a little disappointed but it makes sense cuz anything bts related is always expensive and also it’s a mall so everything is overpriced they had a quite a few of sanrio things which was exciting but i didn’t get anything. they had a lot of other cute merchandise there and a selection of snacks. i’m a little dissatisfied with their selection of kpop items because it was only 8 posters and most of them were blackpink and the rest were monsta x. regardless, i would probably consider coming again to this store, maybe just for the sanrio things next time 😅

Layne Romasco: This bookstore is awesome! Excellent selection of books!

Rebekah Perry: I died and went to book heaven. My spring break book budget was blown here. And then, after a beer, I immediately went back and dropped more $$. Incredible, very curated selection. Progressive, ACAB, queer, ant-racist, amazing, and beautiful. One of the best outside Portugal I've seen.

Logan Q: My favorite bookstore. It's kind and caring and has a good selection.

Magers & Quinn Booksellers: what do users think?

Terry J: Wow! Great selection and even better staff. I ordered two books online for in-store pickup. There was some confusion as to the whereabouts of book #2 but the store clerk made it her mission to find it long after I had resigned to not getting the book this day. Well, she succeeded. Do NOT buy on Amazon. Support independent booksellers. You get more than just great literature. You get passionate, helpful humans.

Tiko Lieou: Great to have this independent bookstore in the neighborhood. With so many businesses closing in Uptown, glad to see they're still doing pretty well. It's nice they seem to always have a weekly author event. Big plus for being dog friendly with treats at the front.

Miranda Montes: I love this shop! I am new to the area and happened to walk past and check it out. They have a large selection of both new and used books, along with gifts and stationery. The staff was so helpful. They helped me find a used copy of a book I was looking for at a great price. I've been back since my first visit, and am sure I will be back many times in the future. For a perfect little 'self care' treat on a weekday I highly suggest stopping in and picking up a new book and then making your way over to Kim's a couple of doors down for a happy hour drink while you start your new book.

Will P: An uptown landmark and a Minneapolis destination for all book lovers and avid readers!

Terry O'Dell: Vast and extremely large bookstore in Minneapolis. Can get lost in the rows of books with many to choose from. Worth a stop if you're a book fan.

Andy Acker: Longtime fan of this bookstore: a lot of new and used books that are well- organized by section, and also laid out for the hungry mind that loves to explore ideas and find new things, rather than only what you're looking for. I hope they stay there forever.

Sean McStravick: Such a great store. Well curated selection of both new and used books and an awesome staff.

Devin Oglesbee: Outstanding service on a busy Saturday. Accidentally crossed paths with M&Q while enjoying a sunny weekend in Uptown. Asked for help with finding a paperback copy of The Boys in the Boat. Who knew that they had a “Sport Section?” The desk attendant was happy to help and knowledgeable.

Toni Knorr: Extremely helpful and kind staff. Great selection of books! The entire place gives a feeling that makes you want to browse for hours.

Sophina So: . I will not be selling here again.

Jonathan Heart: Hey, Magers & Quinn: I exclusively bike to your store. Ya hear? You're a great bookstore with great staff. But quit with the parking spots agenda. Sell books please.

Arthur Fermor: best bookstore

Halley Boesen: I've been buying books from this store for a long time. They have an excellent selection and great variety. Lots of very queer and very leftist content! Love it.

Tori Wensloff: great local bookstore! could wander for hours, great selection and very fun that they’re open late, you don’t see a lot of late night bookstores. i keep coming back!

Josephine Morris: I absolutely adore this bookstore. I first discovered it a couple of years ago, and keep coming back for more. They have an extremely wide collection of books, puzzle, notebooks, ect. There really is something for everyone here. The feeling of walking into Magers and Quinn is wonderful and doesn't compare to a large chain like Barns N' Noble. Support your local indie bookstores!

You might not get a lot of money for selling your books, but they pay you cash. They buy them for cheap because they sell them cheap, and it's amazing.

Cody Stricker:

Sean Jaronske:

Paul Pasterik:

Eric Kovach:

Daniel Snorek: Great place, tons of collectibles. They offer a little discount if you pay cash.

Mark Odnoralov: Always friendly and knowledgeable.

TipTapSlap: The staff were incredibly knowledgeable when I went looking for singles. I would just name any card I was looking for and the guy would know the type and color of every one off the top of his head

Douglas Yost: This has become our home comic, among other purchases kind of store. I should probably have bought stock in the company, I have bought and sold so many things, I need a bigger basement.Jason, the owner is awesome guy. Usually very friendly, knowledgeable and has a huge selection. They also have Friday night MTG drafts and other mtg stuff going on through the weekend. If in need of protective supplies, they usually have plenty including variable options and styles to your liking. Thanks, Jason.

Steve Schmaltz: Owner is fair with buying and selling

David Ostergaard: Enjoyable draft experience, highly recommend this location, even for someone getting back into MTG.

Hunter Anderson: Staff was amazing, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable. After going to a few other comic shops, they set the gold standard. Special thanks to the guy who buys all the inventory. I didn't catch his name, but he has glasses and a killer blonde stache!

Faith Breyer: Always a good place to grab cheap old comics along with new ones!
