Snap Fitness Minneapolis (Fourth Ave. Skyway): what do users think?

Nikhil Panchabhai: and later $45/month. It is medium size gym with almost all the equipments required for cardia as well as for pro. The best thing the reason joined it coz its open 24x7, convinient for to do workout at any time.

Lance Lee (Quick): What is the greatest thing about Snap Fitness is that you can utilize the fitness center at night totally your self and takeover Studio and do your own exercises, to your own music, and you're at your own pace, rocking in your own space.! Hallelujah 4 God's grace

urbanotter 1968: remodeling. Great locker room/showers for a Snap.

Joseph Anda: Good gym with a relatively complete array of services. the only issue is I feel guilty deadlifting during office hours as it's in the middle of the Thrivent financial building.

Jonathan Roberts: Stay the hell away. I like this place empty.

The Movement Minneapolis Gym: what do users think?

Ian Maher: Amazing functional strength and barbell training gym. I've done Crossfit and powerlifting. They've got me stronger than I've been in a long time and healthier than I've been in my adult life. Great coaching, incredible programming, and the biofeedback basics allows for regular variation in core lifts to reduce injury while still allowing continued progress with major muscle groups.

Nina Goldberg: The Movement is absolutely a hidden gem. A year ago I started working out here in order to get stronger, lose weight and improve the health of my low back after surgery. My expectations were beyond met. I have lost weight and am stronger than I’ve ever been in my life. The shape of my body has changed and I feel strong and powerful not just in the gym but in my daily life. The way I move about and do everyday activities has changed because I can actually feel my muscles all the time! I don’t get bored with the gym routine because it changes often. As someone who doesn’t love to workout and wasn’t confident with heavy lifting, I love having help nearby at all times. After a scary back injury, I can finally trust what my body is capable of thanks to The Movement. Every trainer is kind and welcoming, ready to offer tips and advice. There is no judgement or pressure, and I’m never expected to do something that hurts. Finally, hard work and heavy lifting that FEELS GOOD! What?!? No matter who you are, this gym has something very special to offer!

Andrew Legrid: I can't say enough good things about this place. More than anything it's a wonderful and positive community of people--both the staff and other members. It really feels like you're a part of something being there and I know they are very intentional about making the place that kind of environment. I always felt even on my worst days the staff and fellow members would say or do something to make me feel more positive about where I was at fitness-wise and just feel positive about my experience. It helped me to find joy and fun in my own fitness goals, which is how it should be. The individual attention is wonderful and you're absolutely met where you're at and made to feel okay about that while still being ambitious about your goals. It's a warm, welcoming, affirming, and justice-oriented community of people. I can't recommend the place enough.

Susan Gaines: The Movement welcomes every body, everyone, to get strong according to where you are right now. It is fun, low key and motivating. It’s a great place for people who don’t like the traditional gym setting. I have been there for more than 5 years and I’ve gotten stronger without injury, with support and encouragement.

Anita Chikkatur: the difference between a trap bar, Jefferson, and sumo deadlift. I've never stuck with a gym for more than a few months so the fact that I'm still here and going regularly after 20 months is in itself a testament to the supportive and informed approach that all the coaches here take to strength training.

Jacob Morse: injury rap sheet. Rather than fear mongering about limitations and liabilities, this place has a "we'll find what you can do and work from there" attitude. Broken or injured in some way or another? That's cool, not only do they have a highly qualified DPT that works there, they'll also find ways to make you strong if you're healing from something more acute.

Stuart Blessman: Movement Minneapolis is literally a life changing gym and community. From the care and attention the trainers give to each member, to the guided workouts and custom fitness assessments the staff conducts, it's been a core part of my life and community for the last few years and has helped me lose over 80 lbs and develop a brand new life.

p z: I've never been a gym type of guy, but a friend recommended this place to me after I had some nagging sports injuries. Great knowledgeable trainers, small groups that are cool and inclusive, one-on-one feedback. It's a really great gym.

John Hansen: After 5 years, I can definitely say this place keeps me coming back. The warm welcoming environment has helped me become consistent and meet my training goals. The practical efficient programming has given me better results than I have experienced at other gyms and with less of the agony. I still hit new PRs after all of these years too. I couldn’t be happier.

Spencer Gifford: Been going here off and on for about a year. The owner, David, is approachable and friendly. The rest of the staff are also awesome. I'd recommend this gym to anyone looking for a group atmosphere and wanting to get in serious shape. I left for a few months and realized with going here three times a week VS a regular gym I was in better shape than I ever was.5/5

Hemant Sethi: My experience with The Movement has been nothing short of incredible!Very solid community of people working hard to make themselves and people around them better. Every workout is extensively planned by the trainers and no two sessions are the same to keep things interesting. The trainers are very easy to approach and know what they are doing/talking about. The best part is that they make you set goals for yourself and help you get closer to them in every way possible. If I remember correctly, the first session is free, so give it a shot and I bet you won't regret it!PS: The Movement recently started a Run Club which I am very excited about!!

Elan Malrose: The movement is the most amazing gym in minneapolis/st.paul if not the whole world. I started the gym at age 21 and went all through my first pregnancy and the trainers, the program, everything was perfect for every stage of life. If you want to get stronger physically, mentally, and emotionally GO HERE! They have made something truly special here.

Abbie Elsner: I've ever known, great workouts; I saw incredible results and made life long friendships!

Dustine Stevens: Cool.place with really great owners and members

Anytime Fitness: what do users think?

Derek H: I did not expect to buy a gym membership here. Jason, the GM, he was well-spoken, compassionate, and genuine. I've been to a lot of gyms and signed up with a lot of people, but he made an impact on me. He wants to help you meet your goals and push you out of your comfort zone. I never felt pressured during the entire conversation. The gym is hand cleaned top to bottom by Jason. Have you ever heard of a GM cleaning their store by hand before? Jason takes his job seriously. It's never packed, and I feel like my goals, no matter how small, are recognized. I work at the Kim Nybo State Farm a few doors down, so it's a perfect location for me before work.

Adrianne Peterman: Had a great experiences at this gym! I am so excited to start going regularly. Jason the manager is really caring and passionate about this place and getting you to your goals not just physically but mentally.

Hly V Yang: All these bad reviews must have not met the new manager they just hired. He's got lots of tattoos. I was nervous at first, intimidated, but he was a super genuine guy and really made sure I understood what I was paying for. All these people who say they were "trapped" clearly didn't take time to read the fine print or ASK QUESTIONS! So far the new manager has been super friendly and nice and willing to work with your budget. Don't ask questions then you get bad results. Duh? ALSO if you look at some of the profiles who are leaving bad reviews.. almost ALL of their reviews are just bad reviews bashing companies.. seems suspicious if you ask me.. maybe those bad reviewers need to get off their high horse..

Nicholas Verderame: Super sicky gnar!

Teap San: Nice

Jay Jewson: Visiting Minneapolis from out of town. Gym is very well equipped and clean. Chase is on duty and very helpful!

Jane Smith: Anytime Fitness is a great gym! It is clean. Plenty of space to workout for everyone. Love the personal training sessions I signed up for. The AF trainers are challenging, knowledgeable, and encouraging.

arch0049: Making a new review after being a member for about a year. Still say five stars. The only knocks on this place I can think of are the parking situation and some of the members. It is in a densely populated urban area, the lot fills and parking is sparse from 330p-630p. There are many oddball members. None of them make the gym feel unsafe, they are just annoying. But back to the great parts of the gym, plenty of space, every piece of equipment you should expect from a 24 hour gym, new manager is just as great as long time manager that recently left, tons of classes, staff and cleaning contractor do a great job keeping it neat, and easy access from the freeway or on public transit and they have rearranged some equipment and added a deadlift platform in last few weeks. Place is still amazing, maybe even better than when I joined.

Michi Prigge: Jason runs a great training program and gym. He takes the time to get to know your individual goals and supports you through the entire process. Very much recommend this establishment

Basecamp Fitness Minneapolis (North Loop): what do users think?

Alan Yan Jr.: Great workout with awesome instructors! Very supportive community as well!

Cass S: .From the moment I walked through the door, I was greeted with encouragement from the staff alleviating any apprehension I had about starting my fitness journey. What struck me most was their genuine desire to see every member succeed, regardless of their fitness level or goals. The facility itself is nothing short of impressive. It's evident that cleanliness and maintenance are top priorities here, which only adds to the overall positive experience. The most surprising revelation for me was discovering the joy in working out. Thanks to the instructors and engaging classes, working out transformed from a dreaded task into a fulfilling activity I look forward to, with each workout leaving me feeling accomplished.

Erica F: Basecamp always makes working out enjoyable! The instructors and staff are amazing. They get to know you and are always offering good tips and adjustments in class.

Isabella: but this is my favorite!

Makenzi Reichardt: I love Basecamp! I started attending through class pass, and quickly found that Basecamp topped all other classes. I soon canceled my class pass membership & solely joined Basecamp. It has become a daily routine for me. The workouts, coaches, and atmosphere cannot be beat. Basecamp helps to keep me motivated and consistent. I look forward to Basecamp being the best part of my day & recommend it to all my family and friends. Join! Best decision I’ve made.

Andrew Magnuson: Awesome workout! Intense cardio - highly suggest if you need an intense workout to kick start or end your day!

Danny Strohman: , and separated by the muscle groups targeted

Francis Luzum: Basecamp Fitness is wonderful place to work out. The variety in the exercises makes the class fly by. The instructors are enthusiastic, personable, and motivating. The North Loop studio has a great sense of community. The camaraderie among participants creates a supportive and encouraging environment. It's a great workout!

Robbie Schulz: The trainers here are exceptional. They are knowledgeable and very motivating. They ensure that every session pushes you to your limits while maintaining safety and proper form. Whether you’re a beginner or seasoned athlete, they make sure your workouts are challenging and supported. The variety of different workouts ensures that they never become monotonous, keeping motivation levels high.

Mary Horton: . I also appreciate the effort by staff to build community by organizing occasional social events. Makes it easy to have gym friends! I’d recommend to anyone looking for a good all-around workout! It also has very down to earth vibes, so feels welcoming!

Josie Johnson: I had my first experience at Basecamp Fitness today and I absolutely loved it! Everyone was super friendly, great customer service. And the workout was fantastic! I highly recommend.

Corey Sebens: Great gym and staff. Free parking is a huge bonus. If you want a quick, efficient workout Basecamp is perfect.

Joe Swanson: I’ve been to two classes so far and they’ve both been excellent! Great facilities, incredible and challenging workout, and the instructors are incredibly engaging and knowledgeable.

Kristina DiAngelo: Basecamp Nolo is the best fitness community I've ever been a part of. Jason, the Studio Manager, is the mastermind behind all the fun events that make this place so unique. Zak "No Sleeves" Beasy, the Fitness Manager, is an absolute gem. Not only is he incredibly knowledgeable when it comes to fitness, but he's also one of the most approachable and friendly people you'll ever meet. Their entire team makes you feel part of the Basecamp family from the moment you walk in.The workouts themselves are only 35 minutes, but you'll be amazed at how fast you'll see results. They put you to work but it's a ton of fun and the camaraderie amongst members is a large part of what encourages you through the workout.Go try your first class. It's usually free!

Elizabeth Klein: But if you live nearby and don't have to drive a bit

Snap Fitness (Nicollet Ave & W 54th St.): what do users think?

David G.: I would highly recommend picking this location for anyone looking to get or stay in shape, clean gym with all the necessary equipment to do just that. The 24/7 hours just makes it so convenient, feels like you're walking into your own personal gym every time. I want to thank Jordan and the gym owner for always providing good customer service.

Tyler Young: Great location! Equipment is clean and in good condition, with multiple racks. No complaints!

Brannen Hall: Best gym known to man! They have TWO racks for squats/bench press, lots of treadmills, dumbbells, and weight training equipment. I toured all the gyms in the area and this by far is the best for the price if you’re serious about getting in shape. Very happy.

Patrick Finucane: Great

Carol Franco: The variety of machines is incredible. This is surely the best gym in the area

Tamara James: The owners/instructors are extremely knowledgeable, highly motivated and welcoming. They also have a comprehensive approach to following stringent sanitation protocols for proper disinfection, operation and maintenance, as well as adding additional procedures to achieve a new level of cleanliness.  Highly recommend Snap Fitness!

Nicole Becker: I always enjoy going to this location of Snap! Especially during COVID times, everything is very clean and well maintained! Members and management definitely uphold the expectations which is much appreciated when getting back to the gym after quarantine!

YWCA Minneapolis - Uptown: what do users think?

Kelsey Schwartz: Super clean and nice staff.

Christine: I am heartbroken that you’re leaving this space, and even more so about the bro-bar that is certain to move in after a costly, and wasteful rebuild. I love the mission, but am a tad bitter about the loss of this asset in our community. I hope the numerous employees you laid off are going to land on their feet.

Bridget Ryan: I started at the downtown Y 35-40 years ago and happily moved to the Uptown pool. Lovely locker room and just a great lap swim experience for decades. Midtown is adequate but just that. I signed on for fitness and well-being, and I still want that. Will the Y close Midtown in the next few years once they establish their social service programs? Hard to know. Had a good tour at Midtown’s pool today in advance of the November 1 change. Will have to give it a try. Adequate will have to be good enough for now!

D: tried this location out because of the reviews saying it wasn't too busy. Can confirm. Happy to be a member here

Peter Schulze: Great staff and group fitness classes

Nancy Harms: Some great yoga classes!

Mikayla Hagen: A great place to turn off your brain for an hour and get a fantastic workout in. All of the coaches and staff are energetic and super helpful.

Kai Peterson: Just went for the first time after moving from Los Campeones. Definitely has pretty much anything you’d need at a fitness club and seems reasonably clean

Danielle Greving: Reasonably priced, never busy, and plenty of classes to choose from. Only downside is you have to pay for parking.

TwinTown Fitness: what do users think?

Kelsey Sanchez: Great gym and Brock is a great coach!

Brent Strong: Excellent gym with excellent workouts. The coaches were very welcoming and provided great instructions.

Shasta Tresan: Love this gym! Attended for 3 years when I lived in Minneapolis and drop in everytime i come back to visit. Encouraging and knowledgeable coaches. Clean and well equipt space. Friendly client base and strong community feeling. Couldn't recommend enough!

Brandon Stein: The best gym I've had the pleasure to attend. The classes are extremely challenging, but are scaled to meet you where you are so you never feel left behind or pushed beyond your abilities. The coaches and other gym members are all very supportive. It's a fun place to be and to workout. Highly recommended!

C Do: TwinTown Fitness is warm and welcoming. The coaches are knowledgable and supportive. I had a great experience.

Jordan Kleinjan: Dropped in from out of town. Peter was great and got me signed in quickly even though he was doing some other stuff. WOD was challenging but scaled well for everyone in class. Peter was helpful and made sure to get around to everyone. Others in the class made me feel welcome and gave me some places to eat in the neighborhood. Great place.

Nolan Cunningham: Great coaches and all the right programming, but their focus on community and inclusivity is what truly sets them apart from other boxes/gyms in the area. Be humble, have hustle is the motto everyone at the gym lives by and it shows! No wonder member retention is amazing. Can’t say enough about my positive experiences here.

Dan Brandt: If you're looking for an inviting CrossFit gym with coaches who will help you achieve your goals and a fun community, check out TwinTown. The gym is a cozy, effective space to get a great workout in and have fun -- even on your 60th burpee.

Kristin Williams: At TwinTown Fitness the staff are kind, considerate and inclusive people who truly care about your health and personal goals. The workouts have great variety and are thoughtfully planned out. They offer Crossfit workouts, foundation classes for beginners, 45 minute aerobic workouts, barbell workouts, yoga, and workshops to concentrate on certain skills.Recently, TwinTown offered a program called BUILD for people trying to recover from chronic illnesses. Many people were interested in signing up, but being very sick is also very expensive, so the program didn't fill. Instead of giving up on the idea of helping people in need, they held a fundraiser that raised enough money for 5+ scholarships for people to attend this program. Minneapolis is lucky to have a business like TwinTown!

J Olson: , space is well lit with warm lighting

Irina Kholomyansky: Joined F45, I am not that sporty person, but wanted to improve and tone my shape and health. Love it, variety of exercises, friendly atmosphere, modifications/customizations are available. I feel great and strong and it's just a beginning of my journey.

Olivia Rinock: I was looking for a gym while traveling and decided to give F45 a try. I'm so glad I did! Marc is an absolutely amazing trainer - very approachable, encouraging, and knowledgeable! The workouts were fun and varied, the space was clean, and the class times were very convenient. All the members I interacted with were very friendly as well. I highly recommend F45 Downtown Minneapolis, and will definitely be visiting again next time I'm in town!

lyndsey bowman: Great place to workout, the instructor is awesome.

Joshua Shields: Apparently I just finished my 15th session! I’be been having so much fun working out I didn’t realize I’d sweat through that many. While I have my favorites, being uber competitive, I love the variety each workout brings. Ironically, I’m even starting to not mind burpees as much. A few of the other movements, while great, are a lot harder! If you find yourself thinking, maybe I should get in shape or just find an outlet to let off steam I highly recommend checking it out. Marc is great about demonstrating each and the other members are great!

Kevin Vaughan-Carber: F45 is the best workout! Marc the owner/trainer was great at making sure everyone felt welcome and energized. A nice full body lift in the Sunday class.

Sara Zuehlke: Marc is the BEST & the workouts are always different which makes it fun & keeps you engaged. Marc will hype you up & you get personalized feedback in real time which is awesome. I leave feeling great every time. 10/10 recommend!

Sanyukta Singh: I am thrilled to share my incredible experience with F45 fitness center. Having completed 15 classes so far, I have noticed remarkable differences in my strength. F45 Gym has provided me with a motivating and energetic environment where I have been able to push myself to new limits, and I am genuinely enjoying every moment of my fitness journey. One of the key factors that has made my experience at F45 Gym exceptional is the presence of a dedicated trainer, Marc. He genuinely cares about the progress and well-being of each individual. I have found him to be highly motivating, always pushing us to do our best and go beyond our comfort zone. His energy and enthusiasm create an environment where everyone feels motivated and encouraged to give their best in every workout session.

Patrick Kolias: Great gym and location for anyone living downtown. Large space and plenty of equipment so there’s no wait between exercises. Love the amount of free weights. Locker room and bathroom are very clean and well kept.

Dylan Maki: Best place in town for lifters in need of a late night workout spot.

Gunnar Blakeway-Walen: Great Gym!tons of equipment!

Zach Schuman: Great gym with friendly staff and members. They have all the equipment needed for a good workout!

Deepak Kolte: I had a positive experience here both with the gym and the owner. Sometimes you have to park a little away but other than that it's a great gym. I love how they have a grass bed to sledge. I got overcharged when I discontinued but after talking to Rob, he returned my money back. Great price, location and owner for areas around downtown.

Josh Casper: Great place to go work out. Not crowded but has plenty of equipment

Jade Holman: I joined this gym recently. It's been great so far. Low key, no nonsense place to get in a good workout. Get as much or as little support on training and nutrition as you need/want. Would highly recommend.

Christopher McEnery: Fantastic gym, it is easily the best one I have ever had a membership for. There are a wide array of tools to utilize for training, and the facilities are well kept and clean. The owner Rob is a friendly dude who genuinely knows his stuff, you can tell he loves his job. I highly recommend North Loop Fitness to anyone who wants to get in shape or stay fit.

Justin Volling: Great equipment, no pressure friendly environment. Highly recommend.

YWCA Minneapolis - Downtown: what do users think?

trent lawrence: I recently visited this YMCA location, and I must say, it's one of the cleanest and most well-maintained facilities I've ever experienced. The staff was incredibly nice and accommodating, making the process of obtaining my 3-day pass a breeze. Once inside, I was impressed by the extensive selection of free weights and machines, as well as the spacious layout that allowed for a comfortable workout environment. This YMCA truly exceeded my expectations, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a top-notch fitness facility.

M Smith: Love this place! Plenty of exercise equipment in good repair. Great, quiet pool with lap swim never crowded. Very clean throughout. Safe locker rooms with built-in locks. Never crowded.

Garim Lee: , spacious vanity spaces, and individual spaces to change clothes.I did not register for the membership just in case, because I wanted to have some experiences before I actually join as a member. I think I am going to join, as I look forward to visiting this gym more frequently.

Esther Osayande: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,QualityAbsolutly love this YWCA. My only regret is that I didnt join earlier!

Mary Anne Falker: Thomas in membership is kind and concerned about your membership. He follows up on his email. The facility is clean and close to pristine. I have no fear of Covid there because their protocol is in place. It is as well maintained as a hospital and I work in a hospital. Everything is up to standard for infection control. And yet they make you feel accepted and welcome when you walk in the door. They don't put on airs, they are kind and generous. Thank you ☺️💖

Jacqueline Thompson: Clean and accessible. Nice club.

360 Guide: awesome healing experience

Anamaria La Fontaine: I joined this gym about 3 months ago and have had a very positive experience. All of the staff members are very friendly, it isn't too busy, and the instructors for the classes really get to know you and your needs. I am one of those people that prefers cardio machines and classes over free weights and it fits my needs for both. I don't think I've ever had to wait for a cardio machine.
