Rosy Sánchez: I am not a foodie person but definitely in this place you can taste their delicious flavors perhaps because they are made with fresh produce & meats, with excellent customer service characteristic of all Global Market businesses, they manage to create that good experience. I have to say that it's expensive to eat here and it can be an inconvenience for some people but personally I am happy to pay because it's worth it.

La Colonia Restaurant: what do users think?

M R: The paisa meal was delicious. The empanadas not so much. I was exited to try them and was really disspointed as there was no flavor at all to them. I tried a bite n left the rest. Maybe try the cheese one..?I'll go back as they have a coconut fish dish that looked delicious and I want to try it.

Erik Westgard: Lovely food and fast service. We had the arrapas, tilapia and vegatarian plate. All were good.Vegetarian options: Several good choices

Jaque Luna: Depending on the time, it is how busy or quiet the place is, as well as whether or not they have the music volume high or not. Very good service and so is the food. It is mostly attended by Ecuadorians.🗣️ English/Spanish.

Ryan Davis: Been here a handful of times. Great atmosphere and delicious food 🥑🍌🍗

Nico's Taco and Tequila Bar: what do users think?

Jonny Squillaci: Awesome service for a big party, and we didn't have to wait. Nico's has an awesome selection of Mezcal and Tequilla! The Lemon Mezcal Sour is something I have not tasted before. High recommend. Food options cannot go wrong with anything on the menu. Food is fresh and delicious! High recommend the shrimp tacos and carnitas! Not feeling tacos the Flautas is another recommendation!

ryan laff: Probably the most “authentic” place around here. Atmosphere is hipster friendly. Taqulia bar upstairs. Beers are a bit pricey outside of happy hour but happy hour is pretty dialed in. The whole town has overpriced beers tho so 🤷‍♀️!loved the actual tortilla and salsa which are a tell tale sign of greatness. Meat slapped !Will be back for happy hour , beans and rice, etc

Mackenzie Smith: but the customer service my friend and i received was exceptional. he went to fix the order right away, and then gave my friend and me chips and queso EACH to take home 3 from one service industry worker to another, THANK YOU FOR YOUR GREAT SERVICE! not sure who the gentleman that closed the top floor was tonight

Yanna Pharell: Happy hour is 3-6 even on Saturdays - including several vegetarian options. Nice patio - fun times!Parking: Gotta look for it

Will DeGraw: I CAN'T STAY AWAY, NOT EVER. TOP 3 PERSONAL FAV IN THE CITIESI live within a small walk from Nico's. If I was granted a hypothetical question, "if you could replace any other restaurant in the Cities to replace Nico's in proximity to where you live, which would it be?" I wouldn't exchange Nico's with any other restaurant! They have great margaritas, authentic tacos, FANTASTIC salsa options, and have begun making to-go platters that are perfect for large groups!

La Mesa: what do users think?

Tonii G: Love the Ecuadorian plate!!! And the sweet corn pizza!!!Also great guac and chips, love their cocktails and vibes!Vegetarian options: Sweet corn pizza, Ecuadorian plate, guac and more

Leslie Kielson: We were visiting from VT for the World Cup and we so psyched to find this restaurant walking distance from where we were staying. It was so good that we came back the next night and got takeout for our last!! Best fish tacos I have ever had! Ecuadoran vegetable plate was delicious and the cauliflower soup was fabulous. We never had room for dessert but got the panne cotta to go and it was amazing!

Phoebe VanGelder: A super cute place tucked into the Bryn Mawr neighborhood! The drinks weren’t overly complicated but wonderfully mixed, we especially loved the Andean Sour. The food was delicious and beautifully plated and our server Autumn was an absolute delight!Dietary restrictions: Lots of gluten free options!

Rich Kronfeld: My family and I ate at La Mesa a few times pre-Covid. I found the menu to be limited and was not blown away by the food. My wife and I went last night and it was outstanding; they have greatly improved. There are far more choices on the menu, the food, service were excellent and as always, La Mesa is one of the coziest, most pleasant spots in town. Highly recommended.

Beth Jensen: We had a wonderful dinner celebrating our daughter and son-in-law's birthdays. Delicious food, lovely waitress, and great live music. A memorable evening. Looking forward to a return visit! We had hornados, the winter salad and the burger from the specials menu. All were delicious. We shared the 3 desserts which were all beautifully plated and delightful - complete with candles for the birthday couple.

Kathy Berken: Great food, great service!

Brasa Premium Rotisserie- Northeast Minneapolis: what do users think?

Hello World: Ordered the plate for rotisserie with corn bread with the sides of rice and black bean. The company does not take tip as its part of their culture.Definitely supporting this business moving forward.Parking: Parking can be busy.

Alyssa Hernandez: Rotisserie chicken plate with green sauce was perfection. Yuca fries were great. Mac and cheese and corn bread were delicious. Personally I’d pass on the plantains and creamed spinach. But this food was soooo good.Food: 5/5 …

Laurisa Donte: I rook a work meeting here and agreed based on the experience of the person who invited me.I'm so glad we did this. The food was so good that it was hard to focus on business. I asked my waiter about every dish I saw coming from the kitchen.I'll be back!Next time, I'm trying the chicken bowl.Enjoyed my fried fish, by the way seasoned to perfection and with spice. The famous green sauce....MORE PLEASE.They didn't have cheese grits, but I had the Mac and Cheese instead. Whew, I just needed a little more cheese on top, but I still could not stop eating it once I started.Closest to Southern style I have experienced up here.I had the Yuca fries and requested them hot PEPPAS!!!Oh, and did I mention the corn in the cornbread 😋... the way I make it at home.GET YOU SOME BRASA. 😀

Don goyo mexican and salvadorian restaurant: what do users think?

Sherman Junker: Was referred here by my barber about a month ago, have now been here 4 times and I live 35 minutes away. BIRRIA PUPUSAS! Yum.

Karla Landa: Hello. We came here last week. Good service. We ate three pupusas, birria tacos, fresh water and a jarrito o and also a Salvadoran tamale. A good place to eat, and the atmosphere too. The pupusas are great for the price, they really are excellent. The girl who was working was too friendly. I like to observe. The truth is a person who arrived, a person who attended with kindness. At one point it got a little busy but she didn't stop. The truth is I was amazed. Excellent food and good service. It was worth the drive from a bit far.

Linda McLoon: We had a really interesting meal in this very small restaurant in Columbia Heights. They have a number of Salvadorian food items, plus the usual mix of what is served at every Mexican restaurant around town.We had a mixture of dishes so we could get a sense of the food. As I am on a birria tacos hunt, we ordered those. These are pretty typical of the ones we have had in a number of places in the Twin Cities. The consumme was very good and not greasy, although it needed salt. I think I prefer these made with goat or lamb, but these were quite nice. The Salvadorian speciality is a filled corn flour patty called a pupusa. We had several. The birria pupusas, which were quite meaty, had a crispy fried exterior. We also had the pupusa filled with chincharron and cheese. These were by far my favorite. We also tried the pupusa stuffed with what they called a Salvadorian green flower - pupusa loroco. It definitely did not taste like anything I have eaten before. I looked it up, and it is from a climbing vine apparently common in El Salvador. If I had to compare it to something, I would say it was sort of asparagus-like in taste. Definitely different! Our friends had the chicken mole, which they liked a lot, and the chicken tinga, which was super spicy!I ordered the horchata, and word to the wise, don't get the large. It was the biggest glass of horchata I've ever seen. It was good, and not overly sweet, but a lot of liquid.Don't expect fancy at this little restaurant, but I do recommend it, particularly the pupusas. The prices are great, and the menu is huge!

Teri Werner: So glad I found this place -good food, reasonable prices, large serving sizes. The chips are not overly greasy or salty rather they are just right.Dietary restrictions: I am trying to watch my salt intake and I felt everything I ate fit into that restriction.

Bar Brava: what do users think?

Alex: was very refreshing; the beet risotto that was paired with it complimented the fish perfectly. The Basque Cake was beautiful and had its sweetness brought out with the bit of sea salt on top along with the tang of the cream off to the side. The only thing I was slightly disappointed with was the cracker/bread to cheese ratio on the cheese plate, as well as a couple of the cheeses felt a bit flat to me in terms of flavor. I know the menu rotates quite frequently though and would be excited to have another outing in the future to try even more wonderful dishes here!

Genevieve Romain: My boyfriend and I went for our anniversary and we had the most wonderful experience. Upon arrival we were given free bubbly to celebrate us which was such a nice gesture. The food was outstanding, the wine was incredible and the chef/owner Dan was so wonderful. He even made us a special little dessert! I cannot recommend this place enough and I cannot wait to go back.

Christy Lin: My fave thing about this place is the service, right after the wine and eats. The overall dining experience is comfortable and friendly. However, I recommend sitting at the bar if you can. My least favorite thing happens to be the dining table and chairs section, which always feels like a school cafeteria when I’m sat down there. Regardless, I’ve brought friends here multiple times and try to overlook the dining situation because food has been fresh, fun, and full of flavor. It feels like two restaurants combined or that the interior designer quit! Still love the place, but continuity in aesthetics are a must for 5 stars.
