Minneapolis College of Art and Design: what do users think?

Aric Bertram: Went for the annual art sale. 2023 had 500 artists and 6,000 pieces of art. $2,000 max price, $50 average.

Daniel Appleby: The campus; the studios, the faculty, the students, the Art, are all first rate! And then the is the location. Adjacent to the Minneapolis institute of Art or MIA which is a wonderful art museum, right down down the street from the Walker Art Center which is an excellent contemporary Art Museum/resource complete with the late great Siah Armajani’s fantastic poetry bridge that takes one over and or back from the lovely Lorring Park where there is much to see and do.

kinderhood: They always seem like they are art minded when I see the students.

noreen swan: So much beautiful art to see all for free!

Laura Giovannini: MIA spectacular exhibition on Japanese textiles

Josh Fay: This is my favorite place in the cities. Endless amounts of art. Impossible to take it all in the same day

Minneapolis College: what do users think?

Anthony Urban: @ 1501 Hennepin Ave. S.

Emma Koetz: Excited to start school! Everyone was extremely helpful and answered any questions I had!

Kamilla Harris: I'm A Past Student And A Current Student. I Love This College. Everyone Is So Nice And Helpful. The Staff Is Very knowledgeable And Respectful Of My Pronouns And Respectful Of Me As A Person.

Deea Elliott: Staff and faculty is very nice, instructors are very understanding and flexible. Online classes are easy to follow. Very convenient location large campus and they a have basic needs support center open every Wednesday, they pass out food and personal hygiene items. Parking is my only problem here other than that very great school.

Laur en: bad egg teachers

Yarrow LaBeau: and now that I am on my 2nd semester, here's what I have to say.First the bad-The gym is a bit sad. There needs to be more equipment and I heard they used to offer yoga classes but since Covid they have not 😢The staff here are so supportive and it truly feels like this school puts the community in community College. My teachers and admin and other staff have been supportive while I have been dealing with a stalker/abuse situation. I feel fully supported and safe here.I also highly highly recommend the herbalism program because it's one of a kind and the teacher, Erica, is incredibly passionate and enthusiastic about the subject.

Giotto Troia: This review is only for the weight room. The music is horrible. I don't want to listen to jazz music when I'm working out. The attendant on duty said they don't have access to the music... I doubt that. The equipment is a bit old but usable and has a good variety. It's missing some machines like leg extension and some specialized benches. But overall a good selection for a free-for-students gym and convenient if you're already on campus.

Malik McDowell: Excellent place to learn and grow. Great place to update your skills, I would say upgrade!

Sevgi Sezen: Loved being there,Its a feeling to be ready for your new type of life on your career path.Just effort from your side to do homework and then you'll be able to success. My recommendations.

Leigh Miller: I both work and attend school here and I love doing both!!!!!

Minnehaha Academy - High School: what do users think?

Sasha Bordeaux: Incredibly grateful my child goes here!

Ryan Larson: I have enjoyed working at Minnehaha for the past 7 years. The community found here is second to none. We care deeply about one another and all of our students and make sure that everyone has the support that they need. I'm always amazed at all that we have to offer for such a small school. Students here experience a wide variety of options in courses, athletics and fine arts and all of our programs pursue high standards of excellence.

Julia Stewart: A member of the Class of 2006, I still think back on the tremendous influence of Minnehaha on my life. Though MA is an academically rigorous college prep school, teachers see students beyond their academic ability. They are equally devoted to helping students grow as whole people as they model critical thinking, compassion and humility. 15 years after graduating, many of my former teachers are still working at Minnehaha. In a field with so much burnout, it's worth noting that teachers at MA stay for the long haul. This speaks to their passion, their devotion to students and to the MA community at-large. When I went to college, I was able to test out of a handful or required college courses due to the various AP options available to me at MA. I've always been thankful for that. Academics aside, the best part about Minnehaha is that it is a community that helped bring my faith to life. It is a place that fosters a love of asking questions rather than resorting to easy answers.

Joshua Schwartz: Funny.

Julie Johnson: - this is of utmost important to the awesome faculty and staff at this PreK-12 school. Students are supported to grow and mature to their full potential while recognizing their gifts and talents that they can use in service to God and to others. We would not hesitate to recommend others to attend Minnehaha Academy and be part of the beautiful community and family feel this school provides.

Karen Lutgen: Our family is grateful to be part of the MA community. Not only do I have a dream job on faculty, but our child is challenged and nurtured daily at the lower school. It's a wonderful place for all of us to grow as whole people and experience the love of God daily.

Julie Harnack: Minnehaha is a great school. I currently have two kids in the High School and I would highly recommend this school! It is a Christ centered environment, has great academics and my children feel loved/cared for!

Haiku Japanese Bistro: what do users think?

Kristin B: The sushi selection was not only fresh but expertly crafted, showcasing the chef's skill and dedication to quality. One of the highlights was the inviting atmosphere, complete with a full bar and comfortable bar seating.Haiku is a hidden gem that I wholeheartedly recommend. Supporting small businesses like this one not only ensures exceptional experiences but also contributes to the vibrant local community... oh and clean bathrooms which is always a selling point.Kid-friendliness: Kids welcome, family suburbWheelchair accessibility: Fully wheelchair accessible.

Alyssa Olson: , sweet potato tempura

Maureen Arbogast: Our family keeps coming back to Haiku! We try other places and have realized what a gem we have in our own neighborhood. Consistently good tempura and sushi rolls! Never a wait and friendly service! Great value compared to other sushi places out there, so we can enjoy more often as a family with 2 hungry boys. We've gotten takeout several times here too.

Alex Rudie: A delightful restaurant with friendly staff and a beautiful atmosphere. The sushi was all surprisingly fresh. The aesthetic of all the food was amazing, and it tasted delicious. The chicken katsu was breaded and fried to perfection. The tuna dumplings are fun, and a great options if you want to load up on the fish. They have a great selection of appetizers, sushi, rolls, poke bowls, and other dishes.

Carlson School of Management: what do users think?

Patrick Thielen: I studied here as an undergrad, double majoring in finance and entrepreneurial studies, graduating in 2003. I've been back a handful of times. Even 20 years ago CSOM was ahead of the curve in many facets, including classroom technology, clubs/programs, business community engagement, and internship/placement programs, resources, and technology.I still think back to some of the things I learned about business planning, accounting, finance, business writing, communications, and even tool usage like Excel, PowerPoint, etc. It was a really great foundation that I was able to build on, and would give a solid amount of credit to CSOM for helping prepare me for the business and leadership responsibilities I've taken on over the years.

Andrew Moritko: Excellent overall experience and worth the investment for me almost immediately.

Sarah Wang: I really like this building. I can just hangout and walk around. The lecture halls here are really nice. They have like cameras that point at the wipe boards, so the lecturer can show what's on the wipe board. Also, if you look at the posters on the walls, there are events going on with free food all the time! I would highly recommend joining these clubs for the free food. One time someone gave me a ticket for a free wine! I got lemonade instead because I am not yet old enough for wine; I also got these cheesecake brownies that were so good! There are many study places around the atriums and there is also a Panda Express in the basement! This place is so cool and very spacious and aesthetic.

Eli Curran-Moore: 🤵🏼

Kevin Kuhn: Great facilities, excellent administration, and top notch students!

Jane Ahmann: So good I had to spend 4 years here!

Mary Ahmann: Great place to drop a few bucks. 😉

Maggie Ahmann: Kind of expensive but good job opportunities

Everett Brun: Yummmmmmyyyyy

Takara Sushi: what do users think?

Katelyn Schultz: Went here during lunch with coworkers. All you can eat is only $18 at lunch during weekdays. The menu is shortened compared to the dinner menu--mostly fewer specialty roll options. I was pregnant at the time, but still had 3 different rolls that did not contain any raw fish + spring rolls. Everything I tried was delicious and couldn't beat the price. Would be interested in returning after pregnancy for dinner to try my more usual options. It is important to know that they close between lunch and dinner, so there's a "last call" for ordering around 2:10 or so.Vegetarian options: One of my rolls was avocado peanut, I think they had 2 others without meat as well.

The Academy MN: what do users think?

Andrew Thomas: I've been going to The Academy for almost 10 years now! I would still be there but I have opened a Muay Thai/kickboxing gym in another country. This is by far the best Martial arts gym I've been too! I'm a bit biased because they have such a strong community that I was a part of. Even today being a world away, the coaches still keep in contact with me.It doesn't matter if you are going for fitness, Martial arts and/or to be a fighter. You will learn proper technique from world class coaches! They are very supportive in whatever path you choose. The biggest reason I felt it was necessary to open my own martial arts gym, was to bring this community to other people. It's not easy to recreate what the academy has. They are definitely very special. Thanks for the years of training and teachings I could not have done this without all I learned at The Academy. 🙏🙏🙏🙏

Dakotah Love: This place has changed my life, the coaches my training partners, everything good vibes, real skills, awesome fights, God only knows where I'd be without this place. Genuinely saved my life.

Karina Higareda: Dedicated, Honorable & Humble, these are my favorite words to describe this training facility. My now 16 yr old has been training at this top notch, top quality coaching studio for over a year and hands down they’ve never let us down & have impressed my son and I with their skilled training & dedicated coaching. I highly recommend & encourage people looking to level up their game to train here, you will not be disappointed. Keep up the excellent work!

Pámela Boveda Aguirre: I had the chance to train a nogi class here today, and I loved the place, the environment, the facility is super clean and confortable! you have a lot of different options in their schedule! and they have worked with many pro athletes! I had a great experience and recommend the place for sure! Also the level of the girls that train there is very good, bjj competitors with a lot of experience.

Keith Burnham: Very good training for adults and children. Coaching is talented and robust. My 16 year old son's life has been transformed in just 4 weeks at this school. He is just a beginner, but his habits and life trajectory have been impacted in an unbelievable way. More than the trophies and belts on the wall..... this experience will last a lifetime.

Sam Guinan-Nyhart: Excellent training center. Friendly, welcoming and skilled! I dropped in over the holidays and spent a great couple hours here.

Chase Taylor: Great place. Employees are very welcoming and encouraging to get people involved. Definitely a community you would like to be a part of

Andrew Vuong: Great environment and classes!

Darrick Mattox: My daughter loves it and so do we

Cella Westray: Dropped in visiting in town and looking for a place to practice. The coaches seem top-notch and extremely knowledgeable. It’s a great community they have here--not only welcoming but also somewhere to push each other to get better, which I always appreciate! Thanks again for welcoming me, I will definitely be coming back if I ever move back to the Twin Cities area!

Tanner Martinson: Top of the line facility. Not only that but top of the line coaches and training partners as well. Great environment.

Frederick Frederickson: Large multi-disciplinary training center with an equipped gym as well.

Christopher Foecke: Good variety of styles and skill levels

Isaiah Nolan: I been to gyms all over the United States for the past 10 years and the Academy is the best of the best. Super knowledgeable instructors, clean environment, and a great community of kind and accepting students.

Russell Martinez: he coaches are very knowledgeable and staff is helpful! I like how it’s a month to month membership and not long contract!

Pedro Mosquera: The best experience you have to know among all, without a doubt, knowing and belonging to this wonderful and excellent martial arts academy.A fully equipped space to develop your potential and acquire skills. The highly qualified staff with an excellent human touch make the experience even more enjoyable. With the best motto, that if you assume it as part of your life, you will be the best version of yourself every day.OPERA NON VERBA.

Steve Henry: The Academy is an extremely impressive training facility. As a 37 year old construction worker I deal will general soreness on a regular basis. After working out here for less than two months I have lost 20 pounds, eliminated what I thought was chronic hip pain, and discovered the will power to break a decade long smoking habit. The heath benefits of training martial arts are undeniable and The Academy allows you to learn from extremely legit martial artists NO MATTER YOUR SKILL OR FITNESS LEVEL. I can’t thank head coach Greg Nelson and his team enough, 10/10 would recommend.
