Bev's Wine Bar: what do users think?

Troy Howard (T Howard): Sadly, this cool in the cut gem of a place is closing.

Heather Alden: Quiet, lovely, perfect place for a glass of wine, nice music and space to enjoy another’s company

Leah Iverson: This is a cute, quaint, unassuming place. Great night to meet a friend or have a date. Wine list is not huge, but prices are really reasonable with a house white/red starting at $6 a glass and their most expensive glass hovers just under $10. They also have small bites - almonds, olives, baguette, and a limited selection of pizza. Go when the weather is nice and they have an outdoor patio area. Looking forward to going back!

Bridget Fragale: I always enjoy Bev's

Kristina Galdonik: We love Bev’s! Home to our first date, proposal and wedding!

Stacy Welle: Good service and cute atmosphere! Enough wines for everyone to choose from. Not many people there tonight, so we got served right away.

Dave Schneider: We love this place. Paul and Peter have quite a gem here. So glad they are able to open again, we've missed you. So relaxing and great music!!

J Q: This is my happy place

Amanda Kissner: Great wine selection, cozy and trendy atmosphere.

Volstead House -- Whiskey Bar and Speakeasy Eagan: what do users think?

Shalon Johnson: Absolutely loved this place! Came here yesterday; and it has a really cool vibe. The bar is in the back of a restaurant and the overall vibe is very chill and upscale. Their alcohol list is insane! There’s over 100s of options and choices to choose from. I ordered a whiskey sour with parm fries and my experience was absolutely amazing. I would absolutely return! Also, the bartender working was absolutely amazing!! The drinks he made were delicious.

Susan Bloch: Taylor was our server tonight and she gave top-notch service. She was very knowledgeable about items on the menu, and whatever she couldn’t answer, she had another bartender come over to us right away to explain some of the questions that we had.Overall, 10 out of 10Can’t wait to go back

Prohibition Bar: what do users think?

Lynn Martin: We went early, around 7pm, on a Friday for a cocktail. Loved the atmosphere, the view and attentive, friendly service. The drinks were beautiful and tasted fantastic. It was a great place to sit and chat. I can understand how going early is key to finding a place to sit and enjoy the view. Seating is limited. We did not eat there so I can't comment on the food.

Tattersall Distilling: what do users think?

Linda McLoon: It is interesting how often we forget the tried and true and rush to the new. The Tattersall distillery was forced by antiquated Minnesota liquor laws to move to Wisconsin if they wanted to increase production in their distillery. However, their tasting room in the Thorpe building in Northeast Minneapolis is still open. Instead of waiting hours at the "hot" new places, come on back to Tattersall. It was started in 2015, and has been going strong since then.We made reservations, but even on Saturday night we did not need them. We sat at the bar as usual, and the two bartenders were awesome. They were extremely knowledgeable about all the various spirits made by Tattersall, and we had little tastes of some of the new items as we ordered.I did a flight of their two new gins and their absinthe. I liked them a lot. One gin gets a two week aging in chardonnay barrels. This takes the hotness out of their original gin in a very nice way. It doesn't leave it oaky. Apparently it has won a number of awards in various competitions. The Rosso gin is new, and it is very good! Apparently they added rose petals and berries to their mix of botanicals. It is a very nice gin.We tried two cocktails. They change their cocktail menu every 3 months, so it is good to stop in and have a look. My husband had the Houndstooth, which is rye, amaro, meadowsweet, and black strap bitters. We saw a lot of them heading out to other customers. Their take on a classic gin-based negroni was really good. Their orange bitter liqueur, their amaro, and their sour cherry liqueurs gave it a cherry back note that was quite interesting. They only serve popcorn, pretzels, and beef jerky, but there was a pop up Asian restaurant in the Thorpe building if you wanted to get food. They also have a room where you can buy their spirits. Nice!At $12 and $13 for most drinks, it is also more affordable than the newer glitzy places. It was a super relaxing place for a cocktail. And I love not having to drive around in search of parking!

Ian Boje: Whatever you want to drink, Anna will make it happen. Awesome place.

Eric Schoenecker: Very impressed with the drinks, service, and staff. Some of the best bartenders I have come across. Their drinks are slightly on the pricy side. The parking lot also requires a bit of work. Overall great experience.Service: 5/5 …

Dana Cimbalnik: Great drinks!

Constantine: what do users think?

Sean Gibbons: Don’t be sad because they’re gone, be happy they were here.

Mitch Edison: Such an interesting vibe! Incredibly knowledgeable waiter and drinks are fantastic!

christopher miletich: This place is a blast. Great drinks. Good prices

Chris Gapinski: Great happy hour spot. Great food and drinks

Ashley Hosea: My wife and I have been here over ten times. We have loved this place since my cousin. Brought me here and I could not stop raving about. I'm sad to see it go.

Edgar A. Cabrera: Cool atmosphere

David Quinn: Best happy hour in Minneapolis

Christina Billman: Their hamburgers and pop tarts are to die for!

Paul Marino: The drinks and burgers are incredible!

Ray Seville: Pick the right night with the right dj

Kaleb Blodgett: pickles. The milky melted cheese drizzled through my taste buds making me constantly want more. The bun was basic, but didn’t impact the overall quality of the burger. The burger was a bit more greasy than most, but not overwhelming.

Anton Thomas: Super dope chill spot

James Khuong: Food, drinks, atmosphere of a haunted house, what more could you want? The menu had a good spread of food and apps, we got the cheese plate and although the cheese was good, the crackers were honestly so good we asked for another serving. They make any cocktails you want, but their Lumbersexual was a good citrusy take on the Cosmo, and definitely worth a try.A decent amount of seating for the space, and the atmosphere is super dark and moody and really gives a spooky, haunted, vampire's basement vibe.Definitely worth a visit!Oh and bathrooms were clean. 👍

Café and Bar Lurcat: what do users think?

Heather Kaiser: This is one of our special occasion places! The food and ambience is always so great. If you have friends visiting from out of town, this is the place you want to take to impress them. We like the bar side, but went for a date night recently and ate on the dinner side. We had an impromptu four course meal that was curated by our server. We took out time and didn't feel rushed. Every server and staff seem to be in a good mood and polite, whether they are bringing you food, cleaning your table, or passing you on your way out. I definitely recommend going about an hour before sunset. PS the setting in the former monk's quarters is beautiful.

Joan L: was in front of our order, so she offered us a side dish to accompany our main meals and we added the sweet potatoes.🐓 The main entrées were well done — chicken was beautifully carved and presented. The skin was tasty. The black rice and sauce were nice compliments to the meat.🐖 The pork chop was a beautiful, thick cut of meat. We ordered it medium and it may have been ever so slightly cooked a little under medium. Seasoning was perfect and had a nice, tart flavor coming through with the sauerkraut.🍠 🌟 WOW! 🤩 The sweet potatoes were the star of the evening! Sweet, savory, bright and fresh with lemon, crispy skins… just wow! Order the sweet potatoes!!🍰 For dessert, we ordered the chocolate panna cotta and olive oil cake. Both were absolutely stunning and would fit right in at any patisserie! Excellent flavors, textures, and presentation! Faultless!I’ll definitely be coming back!

Nightingale: what do users think?

Victoria Dames: I tried several of the signature cocktails and they were lovely. Tiny, adorable, and tasty. Our wings got lost, but the staff was apologetic. I looked over the menu online before going and was hoping to order the risotto, but it wasn't on the menu in person. It was probably seasonal and the website hadn't been updated yet. I would go again, just for the ambience though.

Alex McKenzie: Recommended dishes Chicken Wings w Ginger Tamari & Serranos, Steak Tartare, French Fries w Malt Vinegar Aioli Parking space Somewhat difficult to find parking Parking options Free street parking, Paid street parking

James Khuong: . We got the meat plate and cheese plate that had lots of unique choices like duck pastrami, and a weekly special lamb/goat burger that was amazing in flavor. They had a dessert menu too but we were stuffed - next time 😎.

Apothecary Bar & Lounge: what do users think?

Quintin Kreth: Apothecary is a surprisingly great hotel bar. I was in downtown Minneapolis for several days and Apothecary had the best cocktails of any bar I visited. The bartender was very friendly and knowledgeable and the lounge was very comfortable. The prices were reasonable as well. Overall, this is a great place to have a drink.

Brenda Schmitz: Great atmosphere & friendly service.

Kim Orris: Such a fun little place in the lobby of the hotel! It was a nice place to have dinner after our long drive! The service was great! Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. The food was spectacular!

Denise Randall: Food & service was great. But my extra dirty martini with extra olives was one of THE BEST I've ever had!

Tracey B: . Love the overall chill vibe. Quality late night snack choices were a nice bonus!

Nes Rotstein: Great service. Good selection of drinks

Volstead's Emporium: what do users think?

Ben: . It ruined the evening, because the four of us couldn't hear one another talk at all. I like good music, but I didn't come to Volstead's for a concert. We ended up drinking less, leaving early, and failing to enjoy ourselves as much as we planned.

Cobble Social House: what do users think?

Joe C: Little hidden gem for classic cocktails. Been around several years, so definitely proven by this point. It doesn’t seem to be in the mainstream speakeasy conversation, but I can confidently say these are the most knowledgeable bartenders in the Twin Cities regarding classic Mixology. On top of that, as a true test, they have the best Sazerac in town.Want to know cocktail history? Come and chat with these guys…CJ and any of the staff.

Omar Dean: Sushi Chef Baaska has redefined sushi in Minneapolis & reupholstered Cobble to a whole new level!Great service, sexy atmosphere, and hands down the BEST sushi in the twin cities. If you haven’t had the chance to come here yet, you’re truly missing out.

Angela Pearson: .The restaurant is small, with very few tables, highly recommend a reservation! Would be happy to go back!

Chloe L: Food was delicious & service was friendly! It was a busy day so they got one of our orders wrong and almost forgot about our last dish but overall great experience.Parking: We got lucky and found a spot right next to the building and didn’t have to pay for parking.

Katy Friends: Great staff, great drinks, cool art. Strong scent of seafood. Probably due to ventilation, nothing they can control. Obviously a fish place too, just strong.

Harris Kleyman: Chef Baaska and his team along with the staff at the restaurant put on an excellent experience that rivals some of the most famous sushi restaurants in the country. The fish itself is certainly the top tier of quality and freshness that you’ll find, they go above and beyond to import a beautiful selection. The menu is focused and has several options for a sushi eater. Reservations are recommended as space can be limited, and I’m sure it helps the restaurant to be planful. We should help them offer us this amazing sushi by being punctual and committed to our reservations when it comes to this level of quality and preparation. Go try Cobble and it’s safe to say you won’t regret it.

The Sample Room: what do users think?

Vanessa Kirkeby: . Overall, fantastic dining, thank you!

Jess Breheim: here we were taken care of! 10/10 customer service from booking to finishing our meal. Our waitress even split appetizers on the checks and was perfect for providing the best experience possible.Food was ok, just wish there were more offerings. Very greasy cuban but Brussel sprouts were amazing and had a decent amount. The violet drink was pretty good but others at the table didn't think their drinks were strong/tasted like straight up juice.Vibe was great!

Tovin Sannes-Venhuizen (Tovin): absolutely would recommend to anyone and everyone!

Manda K: Unique menu, great cocktails, good service. Busy Friday night but everything came quite quickly. Will be back

Nicholas Rothstein: We had the Dill Pickle Burger, Bottineau Burger, and Cuban sandwich. All were fantastic! The Cuban sandwich was especially standout. Worth the trip!Recommended dishes Cuban …

Alex: My partner and I went here for Valentine’s Day and had their special 4 course menu and wine pairing for the day. Amazing service, perfect vibe, and the food was pure bliss. Definitely want to come backParking: We had an early dinner around 4:45pm, was able to park on the street right in front of the restaurant but they also had a free lot in back that had plenty of open spaces

Norseman Distillery: what do users think?

Melissa Halle: is delicious and their cocktails hit too. The food changes periodically; this past time it was good, not amazing, but I really don't come for the food so honestly good is probably exceeding expectations for me.

Sophina So: We had a great time visiting this distillery last weekend. There were some interesting and delicious cocktails to choose from, the decor inside was gorgeous and the pizza was delicious! The major downside was that there is limited seating inside. They do have this standing bench but that does get uncomfortable after a while. The service was generally friendly but a little spotty.

Elizabeth Kruger-Peterson: Fantastic cocktails!!!

Palmer's Bar: what do users think?

Brian Wene: Palmer's is a great place for live music because from anywhere in the bar you can easily see the band onstage. Drinks are not terribly expensive and the bartenders are very nice and the live music is always great! I highly suggest giving Palmer's Bar a visit. You will not be disappointed and you will be planning your return.Enjoy!Dietary restrictions: Items fitting certain dietary restrictions are available.Kid-friendliness: All ages events are common here.Wheelchair accessibility: The bar is accessible to those in a wheelchair.

Nick Hook: Palmers Bar consistently manifests that rare mix of high-end, quality ingredients, creative mixology, attentive, knowledgeable wait staff and quietly-upscale atmosphere. All these elements work together seamlessly to ensure each Palmers patron's experience is an understated, singular joy.Vegetarian options: Panko-encrusted yam brisketKid-friendliness: The ball pit was hygenic and fun!!

Bill Marshall: In a really bad area DON'T GO AT NIGHT UNLESS YOU WANT GET ROBBED WHICH IS A GOOD CHANCE IT'S A NO-GO ZONE IF YOU'RE SMART 🤓

Damon Clare: It's a vibe

Drake Friesen: Great local music spot!

d Davis: A bar like PALMERS represents what a bar/tavern should be like. All sorts of characters come and go. A teacher, a parent, students, retirees, blue collar folks, criminals, republicans, future criminals, democrats, alcoholics, recovering this or thats, white, black, brown and other. It’s about sipping a drink and talking with whom ever is on a barstool close by. Sharing stories and learning some stuff and most likely you’ll have another just to stay a little longer. A lively patio out back that gets more interesting into the night. Eclectic and diverse live music all year round. I won’t call it a dive bar and it’s not quite a club if anything people come here cause they need a little piece of love.

Del O'Loughlin: We went here for a cocktail after dinner. I had the Bowtie on Fire, which was spicy, but well balanced with the tang of lime and sweetness of grenadine. My wife had the French Quarter Smolder, which was very similar to a Sazerac, but with a very nice smokiness from the burnt star anise. The drink menu here is pretty expansive, and we look forward to going back again to try more. The space is not large, and it was pretty busy when we were there on a Friday evening. The bartenders are pretty quick at making drinks and were very friendly.

Parlour: what do users think?

Shawn Miranda: I've had the burger 3 times and it has never been good, always over salted and over cooked. Their fried chicken sandwich however is very well made.Servers have been friendly and prompt every time. The ambience is great, the lights are dim, and it feels cozy. The music however is way too loud. At the bar, it registers on my Apple Watch at around 78-80dB.The cocktails are easily the highlight. I've had a few of the house cocktails and they've all been top tier. They also make the IBA classics extremely well. They're brave enough to offer to put an egg white in the whisky sour and it definitely pays off.

Abriana Allen: My friends and I visit Parlour regularly. We enjoy the vibes, the cocktails, the service, and of course THE BURGERS. Believe the hype. Simple yet delicious. The cocktails - you can of course order great drinks off the menu, but also, you can tell the bartender to surprise you! I enjoy the creativity. However, I’m writing a review for the service I received via phone yesterday. I recently purchased an online gift card for a friend and they unfortunately didn’t receive it. I called Parlour and they were incredibly kind and understanding. Within a few minutes, the manager called me back and they reissued the gift card in less than 30 minutes. I was prepared for follow-up phone calls and redirects to other contacts, but they made it quick and simple. It makes sense given the friendly service we’ve experienced when we dine-in. Thanks, Parlour team!

Alissa Elles: Parking in street or a very small parking lot with valet. Two flight of stairs down to get to restaurant basement level. Awesome mood lighting, very dim. Seating is limited. The isle from front of the restaurant to the back of the restaurant is very narrow and not comfortable to squeeze by everyone sitting at the bar. Service was okay, per seat yourself sign we did and waitresses was completely oblivious that we sat ourselves even though she walked past us three times. We got the burgers with fries and one of the most delicious burgers I've ever had. Very very spendy. Wouldn't say kid friendly or wheelchair accessible.
