Hodges Bend: what do users think?

Alec Steers: Great curated cocktail list, good wine with knowledgeable bartenders. The small plates are delicious as well. Perfect spot for a date night nightcap or happy hour.

Tracy White: We always enjoy dining at Hodges Bend. Great atmosphere, wonderful staff, great food!

Jon Vick: , great cocktails, had awesome live music the night we were in. Completely unexpected in this neighborhood, totally great.

Ameet: Top notch. Amazing experimental food and drinks with a twist. Great layout and service too. On a clear day you can sit on the patio. Easy to get to and from by light rail makes this a total winner. The cubicles are a good way to gather in the Covid era. The bottled chandeliers are a great touch to the decor. Go! Enjoy!

Katherine Robison: We had the best experience here. The staff was super kind, the drinks were great and reasonably priced, and the food was awesome. The whipped pimento cheese was so good, we ordered it twice!

Kristin Johnson: This place is my go-to cocktail bar. The drinks, atmosphere, and staff are all fantastic!

Sekiplaceallahuyaayei Koomei: Good place to have fun

Rohan D: Simply excellent food for reasonable prices. Only issue is there is only street parking and a paid lot.

Jackie R: Love this place! Always inviting, relaxing, amazing food and drinks!

Kristi Erickson: Excellent atmosphere, service, food & Sommelier recommended wines and the best creative cocktails!

Peter Centner: and strike up a conversation with one of their many talented and knowledgeable bartenders.

Jon Hilgers: Great place. Could use some additional external signage to indicate the really terrific restaurant inside. Staff is young and seems a little new at the job but everyone who helped us was eager to find answers to our weird questions and always looked to keep us happy. The food was surprising and very good, especially the charcuterie plate and the grits entree, which blew us all away. Adding delicious cocktails all around, I'd rate this a real winner.

Cobble Social House: what do users think?

Joe C: Little hidden gem for classic cocktails. Been around several years, so definitely proven by this point. It doesn’t seem to be in the mainstream speakeasy conversation, but I can confidently say these are the most knowledgeable bartenders in the Twin Cities regarding classic Mixology. On top of that, as a true test, they have the best Sazerac in town.Want to know cocktail history? Come and chat with these guys…CJ and any of the staff.

Omar Dean: Sushi Chef Baaska has redefined sushi in Minneapolis & reupholstered Cobble to a whole new level!Great service, sexy atmosphere, and hands down the BEST sushi in the twin cities. If you haven’t had the chance to come here yet, you’re truly missing out.

Angela Pearson: .The restaurant is small, with very few tables, highly recommend a reservation! Would be happy to go back!

Chloe L: Food was delicious & service was friendly! It was a busy day so they got one of our orders wrong and almost forgot about our last dish but overall great experience.Parking: We got lucky and found a spot right next to the building and didn’t have to pay for parking.

Katy Friends: Great staff, great drinks, cool art. Strong scent of seafood. Probably due to ventilation, nothing they can control. Obviously a fish place too, just strong.

Harris Kleyman: Chef Baaska and his team along with the staff at the restaurant put on an excellent experience that rivals some of the most famous sushi restaurants in the country. The fish itself is certainly the top tier of quality and freshness that you’ll find, they go above and beyond to import a beautiful selection. The menu is focused and has several options for a sushi eater. Reservations are recommended as space can be limited, and I’m sure it helps the restaurant to be planful. We should help them offer us this amazing sushi by being punctual and committed to our reservations when it comes to this level of quality and preparation. Go try Cobble and it’s safe to say you won’t regret it.

Twin Spirits Distillery & M Coffee Shop: what do users think?

Pearl Vork-Zambory: UPDATE: the cocktails are still great. So very sorry to see these guys leave. Going out of business in less than a week. Go out. Let them feel the love. Had a great night tonight. Great cocktails. Groovy, velvet vibes. Spent many nights here pre and post COVID, and they did a great job of it. Sorry to see them go.Great cocktails, sloooooow service. Expect to wait at least 20 minutes after you order. Whether there are 18 people, as there are right now, or 40-some, as in a month ago. I keep coming because it's my neighborhood and DANG those cocktails are great...

C. B. D.: refreshing drink. If you order the Veggie Pho with muddled jalapeño, be ready for some serious heat. If you choose the jalapeño as a garnish, it’s much friendlier to an average pallet. ☺️

Linda McLoon: During the height of the pandemic, I decided to do taste tests of all the local Minnesota-made gins. There are actually quite a few. A friend found out and brought me a bottle of M gin made by Twin Spirits Distillery. Out of the maybe 25 gins, the absolute best is the M gin. It is smooth andTheir cocktail room is small but they have a very large outdoor patio. First the gin. It is an old tom style and is distilled from sugar cane. In general, I find old tom style gin smoother and a bit "sweeter" than London dry. Lovely. They have about a dozen menu cocktails. The bartender was super happy to reduce the simple syrup in my spicy cocktail. My husband got the old fashioned, which was a bit sweet for his palate. An additional shot of M whiskey helped a lot. It was, however, fun to sit and talk cocktaila. I also had the Team Spirit shot..their gin with peach bitter. Basically it is a short dry martini, and a good combination of flavors. In addition to the gin, they have a vodka, a rum, a moonshine whiskey, and a regular rye based whiskey, which was nice and smooth. One of the great things is that owner, Michelle Winchester, and head distiller are women. Woman owned, woman run. Awesome. There was an awesome food truck outside, El Cuchillo, serving delicious tacos. All around a great place for a fun cocktail, interesting people working there, and truly great gin.

Amy M: We absolutely loved our night here. The bartender and waitstaff were wonderful. The drinks were great!

Michael Zerr: Great distillery with fantastic cocktails.

Dorianne Jarchow: Got to see Jeremy Messersmith play there tonight. Amazing show at this beautiful, unique, cozy little venue! Excellent drink menu options, and wonderful staff. Highly recommend!

Bev's Wine Bar: what do users think?

Troy Howard (T Howard): Sadly, this cool in the cut gem of a place is closing.

Heather Alden: Quiet, lovely, perfect place for a glass of wine, nice music and space to enjoy another’s company

Leah Iverson: This is a cute, quaint, unassuming place. Great night to meet a friend or have a date. Wine list is not huge, but prices are really reasonable with a house white/red starting at $6 a glass and their most expensive glass hovers just under $10. They also have small bites - almonds, olives, baguette, and a limited selection of pizza. Go when the weather is nice and they have an outdoor patio area. Looking forward to going back!

Bridget Fragale: I always enjoy Bev's

Kristina Galdonik: We love Bev’s! Home to our first date, proposal and wedding!

Stacy Welle: Good service and cute atmosphere! Enough wines for everyone to choose from. Not many people there tonight, so we got served right away.

Dave Schneider: We love this place. Paul and Peter have quite a gem here. So glad they are able to open again, we've missed you. So relaxing and great music!!

J Q: This is my happy place

Amanda Kissner: Great wine selection, cozy and trendy atmosphere.

Tattersall Distilling: what do users think?

Linda McLoon: It is interesting how often we forget the tried and true and rush to the new. The Tattersall distillery was forced by antiquated Minnesota liquor laws to move to Wisconsin if they wanted to increase production in their distillery. However, their tasting room in the Thorpe building in Northeast Minneapolis is still open. Instead of waiting hours at the "hot" new places, come on back to Tattersall. It was started in 2015, and has been going strong since then.We made reservations, but even on Saturday night we did not need them. We sat at the bar as usual, and the two bartenders were awesome. They were extremely knowledgeable about all the various spirits made by Tattersall, and we had little tastes of some of the new items as we ordered.I did a flight of their two new gins and their absinthe. I liked them a lot. One gin gets a two week aging in chardonnay barrels. This takes the hotness out of their original gin in a very nice way. It doesn't leave it oaky. Apparently it has won a number of awards in various competitions. The Rosso gin is new, and it is very good! Apparently they added rose petals and berries to their mix of botanicals. It is a very nice gin.We tried two cocktails. They change their cocktail menu every 3 months, so it is good to stop in and have a look. My husband had the Houndstooth, which is rye, amaro, meadowsweet, and black strap bitters. We saw a lot of them heading out to other customers. Their take on a classic gin-based negroni was really good. Their orange bitter liqueur, their amaro, and their sour cherry liqueurs gave it a cherry back note that was quite interesting. They only serve popcorn, pretzels, and beef jerky, but there was a pop up Asian restaurant in the Thorpe building if you wanted to get food. They also have a room where you can buy their spirits. Nice!At $12 and $13 for most drinks, it is also more affordable than the newer glitzy places. It was a super relaxing place for a cocktail. And I love not having to drive around in search of parking!

Ian Boje: Whatever you want to drink, Anna will make it happen. Awesome place.

Eric Schoenecker: Very impressed with the drinks, service, and staff. Some of the best bartenders I have come across. Their drinks are slightly on the pricy side. The parking lot also requires a bit of work. Overall great experience.Service: 5/5 …

Dana Cimbalnik: Great drinks!

Norseman Distillery: what do users think?

Melissa Halle: is delicious and their cocktails hit too. The food changes periodically; this past time it was good, not amazing, but I really don't come for the food so honestly good is probably exceeding expectations for me.

Sophina So: We had a great time visiting this distillery last weekend. There were some interesting and delicious cocktails to choose from, the decor inside was gorgeous and the pizza was delicious! The major downside was that there is limited seating inside. They do have this standing bench but that does get uncomfortable after a while. The service was generally friendly but a little spotty.

Elizabeth Kruger-Peterson: Fantastic cocktails!!!

Mitch Edison: Such an interesting vibe! Incredibly knowledgeable waiter and drinks are fantastic!

christopher miletich: This place is a blast. Great drinks. Good prices

Chris Gapinski: Great happy hour spot. Great food and drinks

Ashley Hosea: My wife and I have been here over ten times. We have loved this place since my cousin. Brought me here and I could not stop raving about. I'm sad to see it go.

Edgar A. Cabrera: Cool atmosphere

David Quinn: Best happy hour in Minneapolis

Christina Billman: Their hamburgers and pop tarts are to die for!

Paul Marino: The drinks and burgers are incredible!

Ray Seville: Pick the right night with the right dj

Kaleb Blodgett: pickles. The milky melted cheese drizzled through my taste buds making me constantly want more. The bun was basic, but didn’t impact the overall quality of the burger. The burger was a bit more greasy than most, but not overwhelming.

Anton Thomas: Super dope chill spot

James Khuong: Food, drinks, atmosphere of a haunted house, what more could you want? The menu had a good spread of food and apps, we got the cheese plate and although the cheese was good, the crackers were honestly so good we asked for another serving. They make any cocktails you want, but their Lumbersexual was a good citrusy take on the Cosmo, and definitely worth a try.A decent amount of seating for the space, and the atmosphere is super dark and moody and really gives a spooky, haunted, vampire's basement vibe.Definitely worth a visit!Oh and bathrooms were clean. 👍

Hammer & Sickle: what do users think?

Zach Patnoe: Hammer and Sickle is fun. The location in central Uptown is great with lots of foot traffic. The decor is fun and the theme is interesting in the best way possible. The mule I had was really refreshing on a summer night and I definitely wanted to try more. I ordered the house vegetarian special, which was honestly the best vegetarian dish I've had since living in Vietnam. I highly recommend Hammer and Sickle, and I will definitely be back!

Sommer Dream: Amazing food. Very kind staff. Definitely will be going back.

Jack O'niel: . I was a bit disappointed in the beef stroganoff, left a feeling of more to be desired. Went with a pierogi after giving up on the stroganoff, the sputnik, and that was delicious and right at my peak of spiciness I could handle...Place was dead when we were there, wait staff was friendly, food is priced decently for what you receive, nice atmosphere.. would recommend checking them out if you are in the area.. Will be back for more pierogies!

Samuel Schneider: Pretty great place! I always come for the happy hour! 2 for 1 Moscow Mules and discounted snacks! Service is always great as well!!

Jordan Jasorka: as well as 2-for-1 mules. I later tried their rendition of a mojito made with blueberry vodka. Everything, including service, was absolutely top notch.10/10 going back for the great specials & great service 🎉 pictured here is the Cuban Cocktail Crisis

Selah Hennesy: great drinks and a great charcuterie board with pickled sides

David Mena: Food is delicious. Service is good. Ambience is pleasant. All the mules are delicious! IMHO the TV's feel out of place but they didn't detract from the experience.

Kyle Bendt: Great food and service, my family loved the unique food and drinks.

Brittney Thorstenson: Excellent food and cocktails. The borscht was our favorite, absolutely delicious.

Rebecca Costigan: . Plus our server was great and had fun with our group, which made the experience that much better!

Emily Butler: Great food and cocktails, friendly servers. We got a few different drinks, all of which were really tasty. Also ordered lamb shashlik, pierogis, and borscht. Not the best borscht I've had, but everything else was really good.

Del O'Loughlin: We went here for a cocktail after dinner. I had the Bowtie on Fire, which was spicy, but well balanced with the tang of lime and sweetness of grenadine. My wife had the French Quarter Smolder, which was very similar to a Sazerac, but with a very nice smokiness from the burnt star anise. The drink menu here is pretty expansive, and we look forward to going back again to try more. The space is not large, and it was pretty busy when we were there on a Friday evening. The bartenders are pretty quick at making drinks and were very friendly.

Jake Murphy: Great drink menu, outstanding bartenders.

Jess Breheim: here we were taken care of! 10/10 customer service from booking to finishing our meal. Our waitress even split appetizers on the checks and was perfect for providing the best experience possible.Food was ok, just wish there were more offerings. Very greasy cuban but Brussel sprouts were amazing and had a decent amount. Tovin Sannes-Venhuizen (Tovin): absolutely would recommend to anyone and everyone!

Whiskey & Soda: what do users think?

J Rocks: alcoholic drinks. I had the Nymphea, yum! 😋The oysters were good! Really good French fries too!! The beef tartar was ok, it’s worth trying.Overall this is a great place that more people should go to!Parking: This is downtown Minneapolis, so there are pay parking ramps all around and pay street parking spots.Kid-friendliness: I don’t know I’d bring my kids here, it’s more of an adult cocktail lounge.

Kyrietta Weber: We went during Grandma’s, so this review is just based on that. The server was really great, but seemed over-stretched. They service was pretty quick at first, but then really slowed before we got our food, and it felt like almost triple the time to get the main course out. The food was ok, but again probably just busy, and understandably so. Would probably go back to try another time, if we make it back up before Grandma’s race.

Alex Staherski: Had such a great time here, I ended up coming for a second night in a row so I could bring my coworker. Drinks are outstanding, particularly the really impressive Martini presentation, some of the best oysters I've ever had, and Jordan is a super fun bartender who makes you feel welcomed and engaged, and who has great recommendations for whatever else you're looking for in the area.

Melissa Miller: Always a good time at Pocket Square ❤️🍸🍹 Unisex bathrooms, kid friendly, always something fun and unique going on (bags, trivia, craft sale, holiday themes drinks and fun glasswear.

John O'Donnell: Favorite distillery! Great staff and phenomenal drinks. Overall, it was a terrific experience

Natalie Ryan: . We topped off the evening with some bar pizzas and Von Hansen's pretzels.

Jessica Buchholz: It was such a fun and cute place, the drinks were delicious and the staff were great! They have games to play for the customers. Definitely recommend!!

Kim Hamilton: Their infused vodka is very good! I love the wildberry

Bobby O: Pocket Square is without a doubt the best micro distillery in the Twin Cities! They are a family owned establishment who make their own Vodka, Gin and Rum. They have dozens of infusion flavors to try. They always have new drinks and specials rotating on the menu to keep things fresh. Their specialty cocktails are unique, poured with double shots and well priced. The owners and bartenders are super friendly. I'd recommend the Rum Old Fashion, Raspberry Mint Moscow Mule, Bees Knees, and play the bartender roulette. 5 stars for the Pocket Square!

Terry Carlson: Great cocktail lounge, very good drinks👍🍹

Mykl Roventine: Simply exquisite hand crafted cocktails. Delicious and unique flavors, fresh ingredients, monthly specials. The staff are the friendliest, most helpful folks you will find anywhere. Give yourself a gift and go hang out for a few hours in the chill atmosphere of Pocket Square.

Kevin Malone: Delicious drinks, and the bartenders are great!

Joshua Lemmer: Really fun place and concept! Great spirits and cocktails - and really fun owners. Def check it out and - join their clubs!!

Alec Chiquoine: Excellent cocktail lounge. All the spirits are distilled there as well and they do a great job. Family owned and operated. Service was outstanding and prices were reasonable. Try the rum-based old fashioned. Highly recommend!

Jennifer Nichols: Love this place. The drinks are creative and delicious. The staff is so friendly and helpful

Lori Aakre: Awesome place, highly recommend, unique cocktails, great service and atmosphere!

Katie Kennedy: It's such a wonderful little cocktail lounge. Their menus are seasonal, and I particularly enjoy their winter menu. I had a sweat potato cocktail and a white russian. Both were delicious, my partner had a tiki cocktail and the owner uses his own tiki glasses! The tiki drink was also really good.

R S: Double pours, great price and service! We also had great immediate service. They distil their own liquor right here! We were looking for a distillery/cocktail lounge near the cities without the downtown prices and glad to have stumbled here.

Erin Jean: Can’t wait to come back!
