Taree McCabe: Lovely studio with amazing and passionate staff. Went to a spring introductory workshop event they put on a few weeks back and loved the experience. They offered a complimentary 1 on 1 dance lesson and I had the opportunity to dance with the instructor Named Jason. I would recommend this experience for anyone who’s interested in getting into dance. It’s a lovely studio and a low pressure environment for beginners, with clear proof of the potential for success with some work put in with the awesome staff.

Blue: Arthur Murray is a great studio. I came to the Saint Paul studio with absolutely no experience in dance, and after about a year of lessons, I feel much more confident, have a range of skills, and can enjoy dancing when I might otherwise have stood and watched. Definitely worth stopping in, even just for the introductory lessons to get a foundation. 💙💃🕺
Colby Harris: Brie was a very positive and cheerful instructor helping our group learn the basic steps of Bachata and Rumba. The group lesson had multiple sessions simultaneously in the same space, which made for minor distractions and bumping shoulders, but all in all was fun.Thank you!
Katie Hepler: My wife and I began taking weekly private lessons at Arthur Murray four months before our wedding with the intention of pulling off an awesome dance in front of our friends and family. While my wife had a dance background, I had avoided dancing for most of my life because of feeling self-conscious on the dance floor. The weekly private and group lessons gave me the confidence and skill to actually get out on the dance floor and go for it with pretty much any kind of music.On our wedding day we had a fully choreographed dance routine that wowed our audience, and we went into it without any nerves, but rather with confidence and poise. This was thanks to practicing at home, attending free group classes and performing in front of our peers and instructors at Arthur Murry.Even after our spectacular wedding dance, my wife and I are continuing to take lessons at Arthur Murray. We love learning how to move together and feeling our progress at weekly dance parties. This is largely thanks to the instructors who give the feedback you need, encourage you as you improve, and nudge you into challenging yourself and getting outside your comfort zone which is critical for a performative art such as dancing. The instructors not only know their stuff, but they’re a lot of fun too.Bottom line, dancing is fun, it’s physical as you’ll learn how to hold and move your body, you’ll get the mental challenge of constantly learning and performing in front of others, and you’ll get to actually look good out on the dance floor. Arthur Murray has been a supportive, inviting atmosphere for us and dancing has been a unique, shared experience that my wife and I will continue to enjoy throughout our lives.
Ginnifer: I went to Arthur Murrays to learn how to bachata and found out there's so much more to dancing than bachata! Ballroom dancing has been a gift, a great outlet, a form of expression for me! Arthur Murray staff and teachers are warm and friendly, and provide a positive learning environment for me to grow as a competent dancer. There's so much fun and camaraderie! I enjoy my experience with Arthur Murray Studio and highly recommend to anyone who wants to give it a try!
Mark Flaten: I am now in my third year of regular lessons at Arthur Murray. It has proven to be a positive life-changing experience. I feel part of the dancing community of students and teachers, I love the instruction I receive, and I have learned great skills in about a dozen different social dances. I attend as many of the free group dances on weeknights and free bi-weekly parties to maximize the value. My wife and I love to dance. This is the best place to learn to dance well in the Twin Cities! I find all the staff at Arthur Murray to be competent and kind and they have helped me to become passionate about dancing!

NLoett: After my Dad and my Sister had spent about a year dancing at Arthur Murray they convinced me to give it a try. After over a year of dancing I can say it's one of the best things I've ever done. The first obvious benefit is that it's good exercise, but that's not all. As someone who is on the autism spectrum and also suffers from fatigue, learning to dance has given me an incredible boost to my confidence in social situations as well as boosting my stamina. It doesn't stop there though, because the community of teachers and students is amazing. Everyone has been very supportive of me as I worked my way through all the dances and I've made some very good friends during my time there. Overall I'd recommend that just about everyone should at least give it a try. We'd love to have new members join our Arthur Murray family.

Sarah Huntley: I recently signed my son up for youth hip hop and he loved the class. A youth coordinator sent out a welcome message as well which was very kind and unexpected. I have taken Adult belly dance, capoeira, African fusion and hip hop at Zenon in the past. I am happy that my son is looking forward to a dance future with the school.

Valerie Cooper: We just finished taking the 4 session wedding dance class and had an amazing time. Rebecca is so sweet and knowledgeable! We went in knowing nothing about formal dancing. Even though it's a group class, Rebecca is sure to spend some one on one time with each couple to make sure they know how to make the dance work for their song. She even uses your phone to video you and your partner dancing while also coaching you through it so you can go back and watch it anytime. We'll definitely be practicing before our big day, but I already feel like we know enough to surprise/impress our guest during our 1st dance at our wedding. If you're nervous about dancing in front of everyone at your wedding, take this class!! We might be back just for a fun date night activity!
Autumn Wonderlich: Dance classes from Rebecca at Four Seasons was the highlight of our wedding planning process! It was so fun to create a unique and special dance, and it helped us feel prepare for our big day. I highly recommend classes here!

We were able to tell Rebecca our song at the start, and over the course of the month she choreographed our entire dance with us - teaching us everything from the basic step to a number of more complicated moves, at a very well-structured pace, adding little bits at a time until we had the whole song planned beat for beat.Rebecca is a great teacher - I can't tell you how many times we were shown a move and our first reaction was "How the heck are we gonna learn that??" - but by the end of the lesson, we had it down.During the group lessons, you also spend some time practicing your moves to the other couples' songs
Silka Schreiber: I visited Four Seasons Dance Studio for a one hour private class two days before my wedding. My husband and I have no experience dancing and wanted to avoid just doing the “prom sway” for our first dance. Rebecca was a fantastic teacher who worked with us for an hour and I’m still surprised how well our first dance went with only one lesson!

We started at an Arthur Murray studio and after it taking 4 classes to even get an idea of what our full dance would look like, my husband had been taking classes here with his mom for their dance. Needless to say we switched over and Bruce opened up his schedule for us on a Saturday and Sunday two weeks before our wedding, and we had an awesome dance after just two lessons. We purchased 4 dance lessons - used two for ourselves, one for myself and my dad, and one for my husband and his mom! Between the 4 of us we have little to no dance experience and minimal to moderate musical ability. Rebecca was an absolute joy to work with and made the process so fun!! She is a natural teacher and navigates beginners very well! She did a great job choreographing a realistic dance for all of us and we had so many compliments after the wedding! We would highly recommend Rebecca and the Four Seasons Dance Studio!

The idea of it was intimidating at first but as soon as i got there the environment was very welcoming and everyone seemed friendly. after like one class i fell in love with with the art of it. the instructors are all really nice and encouraging. it’s become a very positive community, and it really feels like a second home for me and lots of other people. I’m happy i chose this studio and i highly recommend it to anyone. it’s also very clean and the interior is cute 10/10

Quynh Nguyen: 3/27/23 - still love the studio and take classes here, the instructors are all very kindly and supportive! Changed my life and mindset to take pole classes and I can't recommend them enough.I've spent a LOT of money and time trying out all kinds of fitness fads, gym memberships, and workout equipment. I really had a hard time just sticking to anything because I wasn't "hell yes" about lifting weights or sweating in yoga class. Then I had a friend invite me to an open pole class and I was hooked. Pole dance class is a LOT of fun, with good vibes and supportive instructors. It's taught me to appreciate my physicality and celebrate my strengths, and to be attentive to my weaknesses. Highly recommend!

Hailey Meshefski: My husband and I booked dance lessons for our first dance song at our wedding. Jessica was a fantastic teacher and took extra time and thought into creating the perfect choreography.
Prim Ilagan: Dancer Studio is a very welcoming place to learn to dance. Come as a couple or single, partners are rotated so there’s a chance to dance with everyone in the class. On this occasion the lesson was Rumba, the class starts out with the basic steps then more steps are added, usually a turn is added by the end of class you’ve learned a whole pattern. Everyone is kind and are all there to learn together. Jessica is a great instructor, her pink shoes are fabulous.

Paris, our instructor, was quirky and fun and did an amazing job choreographing our dance. We spent each lesson laughing and having a blast. Alex Boeser: My 5.5 year old daughter just finished Hip Hop for Tots classes here. David was incredible at getting everyone involved, made lessons manageable and interesting for the kids, and had unbelievable patience. Bryn was another instructor who put a lot of effort and patience into the classes, and I will absolutely encourage my daughter to continue classes here if the other instructors are anything like them.

Justina Marsh: had a ton of fun and are so happy to start dancing after asking about it for months. Angela is so kind and welcomed us in right away. Angela did really well with the girls making it fun while also teaching them terminology. We didn’t feel pressured to sign up the girls but wanted to after they enjoyed their time. Highly recommend Moore Than Dance and we are so excited to bring our girls back!
Ia Vang: Its our first time here at Moore Than Dance and I’m loving it already. My baby girl is so excited and was screaming out of her lungs! The staff is super nice and were loving Mrs. Angela. Samantha Kuehn: We love Intrepid! Melissa McCabe and her staff are not only highly qualified, but they put their hearts into their dancers. We previously came from another studio that was less than acceptable. Melissa has been a breath of fresh air, and our girls have learned SO much. So thankful we made the switch!
Deah Harambasic: At first I was upset I couldn't stay to watch my kid practice. But it really makes sense, because the focus is on having fun and DANCE, and NOT on overbearing dance moms hovering over their children to make sure everything is perfect. Intrepid is a casual, inclusive studio. Wear what you want. No pressure on appearance at all. My kid loves that she can go dance in shorts and a tshirt. Best of all, I got to take a tap class this year. I've never danced before in my life, and I was up on stage by the end of the season! My heart is so full to have this special activity I can share with her. We are both looking forward to next season!

Teresa Paetznick: I love Duende!! I have been taking both group and private lessons for 3+ years and have grown both my salsa and bachata follow capabilities substantially from when I first started. Not only are the instructors knowledgeable, they breakdown the movements so that I understand what I’m doing and not just copying the move they demonstrated. I expected to improve my dance capabilities but wasn’t expecting the wonderful community and friendships that I’ve built. I would recommend the Duende Studio for new dancers as well as more advanced dancers. There are classes available for all levels.

Melissa also manages the front desk and somehow remembers EVERYONE’S names. All the instructors are friendly when they see you out at socials around the Twin Cities.The classes and curriculum are structured to provide the most effective lessons for the number and variety of students. I always feel like I get a lot out of the group classes, even on occasions where I’m already familiar with some of the moves.Because the studio is so popular, there can be a lot of door-traffic at the beginning of class. Make sure you register beforehand, arrive as early as possible, and follow all the guidelines on the website. Melissa is awesome and so helpful, but there’s only so much she can do when 80 people are walking in within a 10-minute window.I also highly recommend their monthly social! The music is always great & it’s a comfortable space for new and experienced dancers.

Allison Auger: You will not find another studio in the state that compares.They teach correct technique. They will not compromise safety just to move someone on for the sake of a parents happiness. For example move a kid to pointe before child is ready.The tuition compared to others in the area is far cheaper when you compare value, quality and quantity.They create and produce best in the nation dancers. However, they are small in the sense it is very much a family environment. Kids and parents alike form lifelong bonds that go far beyond the dance years.If you want to be apart of something very special I highly recommend. My family is a 3rd generation Larkin family-dancers! ❤️
