After over a year of dancing I can say it's one of the best things I've ever done. The first obvious benefit is that it's good exercise, but that's not all. As someone who is on the autism spectrum and also suffers from fatigue, learning to dance has given me an incredible boost to my confidence in social situations as well as boosting my stamina. It doesn't stop there though, because the community of teachers and students is amazing. Everyone has been very supportive of me as I worked my way through all the dances and I've made some very good friends during my time there.
