George Koloroutis: Bruce Rivers is an outstanding attorney. Many years ago on a visit to see my family in Minnesota, two family members committed an egregious act of betrayal toward me. This caused me to beat down the male involved. The police were called to come to the scene and surprisingly I was arrested. The police were disgusted but said they had to remove me from the scene. Nathan Davis: This is kind of an odd review to write because it's for a place that was there for me during the lowest period of my life.I did wrong, I don't deny that for a second. Halberg helped me find a way to navigate with the courts an outcome that led to treatment, not just throwing me into prison forever.Mostly though I give five stars for Dave Risk as a human being. He genuinely cares about the clients and the people that come through the firm. I was pretty terrified when the full weight of the state came down on me, but I felt a little better when a friend going through law school and described Dave as a "Genius lawyer."Here's the thing, I'm not the same person I was five years ago that made a bad decision. It hasn't been easy, but I'm so grateful for the chance to complete treatment, and to stay in therapy. I sort of always assumed I was too broken to be fixed. That's not true at all; anyone can grow beyond their injuries.
