Juan Vega: Awesome Experience while shopping for cleats and gear for our girls. the gentleman took time with each of our girls and measured their foot and brought out several pairs of cleats for them to try on and was very knowledgeable of the cleats he was bringing out. he did the same with shin guards, explained each style and helped choose the right ones for each girl! Amazing Customer service! Highly recommended. we will definitely be returning for future shopping.

The guy offered to have it shipped, but for some reason, the store couldn’t ship it unless it was framed. The guy was super honest, and helped me avoid spending 3x the amount. He directed me to the suppliers website, and helped me get unframed. While he might’ve lost a sale, he’s definitely earned a customer in the future!!!

Russ Amos: Brought in some used golf clubs and street hockey gear. They may only have bought a pair of hockey gloves but were very helpful with where to bring the rest of what I had. Thats what I call customer service!

He gave me a fair deal for my trade-in and set me up with skates that were a much better fit for me. I'm self-aware enough to know I am particular and not always the easiest customer, so kudos to him for truly making it an easy and enjoyable process. Every-time I go in there the staff is very helpful and accommodating from suiting us up with the appropriate hockey gear, custom ordering skates for extra wide feet to promptly getting our skates sharpened: I feel the store needs some updating on the interior or a remodel but then again it’s not a big box store it’s a family owned small business. They are also happy to do custom orders for team apparel. I truly appreciate them and it’s worry the drive for me.

The service was beyond my expectations and I was pleasantly surprised to learn about their hockey skate leasing program (guaranteed fit for the season for a boy with growing feet). Spent half of what I expected and don't need to worry about needing to buy a second pair of skates at the end of the season. Hanus is a good ambassador for the sport.

The two staff members that were there were very friendly and helpful, and the store has a good vibe. i did use the measurement scan which was very cool. for a small local shop they had lot's of services and choices. Kent Elliott Allen: I’m 68, and I’ve been running since high school. Over the last year I finally had to stop running because of persistent foot injuries. I met with a sports physician and it helped but I kept getting injured. A friend recommended that I go to Fleet Feet. I got a personal fitting there, and was fitted with shoes that match my narrow, overpronating feet. Now I have run twice with no injuries. I can run again, at least a few miles at a very modest pace. I’ll slowly work up my mileage and hopefully run a few 10K races this summer. Thanks, Fleet Feet!

C. Anderson: Largest used weight selection in the area, I tried marketplace, and people are difficult to work with sometimes. It’s nice just to be able to go into a retail place and find a used product for a fair price. I think I paid around $.80 a pound for the barbells I bought. Most people on marketplace or charging $1 a pound.

He gave honest feedback, and I really appreciated the recommendations he had. Great experience. Checkout was also great, forgot his name, but 90737 was as friendly as you could be. It was all very appreciated!

Jason Christenson: This is a true destination type store. This is what department stores wanted to be when they grew up! Super fun lots to see even more to do. There are Easter eggs hidden all over the store of fun activities and things to do. The stuff looks to be extremely high-quality and there is something for everyone here at the store. There was also a big Ferris wheel that we got to ride for a dollar. The store is beautiful and well laid out and has exceptional service. I can’t say enough good things about it. Five star experience!

Mike Zasada: Matt is the most knowledgeable person around when it comes to sizing hockey skates. He will put you in the right skate with the right fit. If it isn't perfect Matt will get you as close as he can to the perfect fit. If you are having trouble with your skate or are ready for a new pair I highly recommend General Sports.
Bill Brasky: Matt is hands down the most knowledgeable about sizing hockey skates in the Twin Cities. Do not believe the Bauer computers that other retailers utilize. Trust me, I went to all of them from Rogers to Woodbury. He accurately showed me that I didn't need to size up on skates and gave advice on how to get more life out of my current skates. He also repaired a loose toe cap for next to nothing.
Matt C: Coming from a parent that knows nothing about hockey. We had a skate fitting with Tory - l learned a great deal today and felt great when I left. I had equipment that was all too big for my child, as a result of my shopping at a big name sports store that was less helpful. After this experience I could see immediately the change in posture. I am very pleased with this experience and sorry that I didn’t start here.

luckyluciano65: This is great stop for official's gear! I make a visit every time I am in the Cities to check out their inventory. I officiate baseball, and this store has everything you need: protective equipment, shirts, jackets, footwear, accessories, hats, pants, and bags. It's like shopping online, except you get to try on everything in-store. Their prices are comparable to online resources as well. They usually have some good deals on clearance items that are out of season or discontinued. I have bought a few of these items for a significant mark down. The staff is friendly and helpful. They do have an online version of their store, although I have not used it.

Their prices are competitive with online and big box retailers, but their selection is much better.If you haven't given this locally-owned gem of a store a visit, do yourself a favor and stop in!
