The Blake School: what do users think?

Rebecca Wellik: Wonderful high school!

Karen Lopez Lopez: It is the same place where they film Soy Luna, nothing more than Disney adds details to make it look different because if you look, it is the same shape as the one in the series.

Greg Lundgren: Above and beyond, this is the best school in the nation. As a former student, I can say, without hesitation, that my time at The Blake School was the most influential and impactful experience of my life. The Blake School offers an unparalleled curriculum, remarkably progressive environment and enthusiasm for success. The community is composed of brilliant minds who openly and freely share their time, knowledge and valuable life experience. The Blake School's emphasis on open-mindedness, integrity, tolerance and strong sense of community, is a testament to the fantastic alumni that came before us. Any Blake alumni will tell you that the school allowed us to discover forever-friends as well as an inevitably bright future. My fellow students will always be my family. My former teachers will always be my confidants and inspiration. The school itself will always be my home. I can only hope my children will be able to share in the impeccable education I was extremely fortunate to receive.

William Maddrey: Great school. Go Bears!

Audrey Smith: Oh Yeah BLAKE BETTER. Blake RULES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Spero Academy: what do users think?

Cat Weller: Top notch special ed!

Sean Gambino: My boys just started this year and I totally amazed at all the support I’ve been given. It’s been getting threw COVID much more bearable. Thank you spero for making my boys feel so comfortable and willing to learn!

Nikki Kormanik: My son has been there for three years and just loves it.

Clint Bengtson:

Katie Rose Kammerude: Мне нравится работать здесь и с замечательными студентами, которые у нас есть!

Gaia Democratic School: what do users think?

botched resurrection gf: This school helped me so much with my mental health issues. :D

harmony knowles: Making a family choice to enroll in Gaia was the best decision we could ever make. My children are happy and thriving. The staff people are beyond exceptional.

Mose Picard: how to play drums and piano, and saxophone. The first bike repair class I took was there, and I had help writing a grant and bought 150 bucks to buy bike tools and we had a kinda community bike skill share and open shop whenever we wanted. I also became interested in herbalism, and started learning as much as I could there, and got help getting into the PSEO program at MCTC to further my education in herbalism and other subjects. With the location of Gaia Democratic School now, MCTC just being across the park it would be so convenient for any PSEO students. Aside from learning about particular subjects, one of my favorite things is all the interesting conversations I would have with everyone in the school about anything and everything. I had a lot of free time to play and run around to get my energy out, which helped me mellow out and focus on things I was interested in learning, too. Of course the democratic aspect of the school is very important to me, and it is the truest form of democracy I have been involved in, and I can say that I am more aware of my place in a group and community setting and better able to work together, listen to others as well as being able to voice my own thoughts when I feel I need to. I truly wish everyone in the world had access to this kind of education and community environment.

Mike Evenson: Free Schools turn great kids into powerful self-directed adults. Many people can't handle the concept of freedom in their own lives, so they can't imagine such a thing in children. Gaia helps kids become the people they want to be.

Treana Mayer: As a former student and volunteer staff, I believe that being a part of this community is the greatest food for the growth of your soul. Youth are treated as actual people who contribute to the world. Not in a theoretical future, but now and in the every day. I learned how to take initiative, be curious, how to find resolutions and explore limitless alternatives to the normative standards we are fed by convenience. I was able to discover my true self at this school in a safe space without shame, and so have all the other people who have found this community and made it their own. Thank you to everyone who continually creates and re-creates this school.

Liz VanDerlofske: Our family loves Gaia Democratic School! My children learn at their own pace and in their own time. Gaia has a wonderful community that welcomes the whole family. I can't imagine sending my kids anywhere else.

Joy Strand: Finding Gaia Democratic School was such a blessing for our family~ it is giving us the opportunity to learn and grow based on our family values and a wonderful community to do all that learning and growing with!!

Carlson School of Management: what do users think?

Patrick Thielen: I studied here as an undergrad, double majoring in finance and entrepreneurial studies, graduating in 2003. I've been back a handful of times. Even 20 years ago CSOM was ahead of the curve in many facets, including classroom technology, clubs/programs, business community engagement, and internship/placement programs, resources, and technology.I still think back to some of the things I learned about business planning, accounting, finance, business writing, communications, and even tool usage like Excel, PowerPoint, etc. It was a really great foundation that I was able to build on, and would give a solid amount of credit to CSOM for helping prepare me for the business and leadership responsibilities I've taken on over the years.

Andrew Moritko: Excellent overall experience and worth the investment for me almost immediately.

Sarah Wang: I really like this building. I can just hangout and walk around. The lecture halls here are really nice. They have like cameras that point at the wipe boards, so the lecturer can show what's on the wipe board. Also, if you look at the posters on the walls, there are events going on with free food all the time! I would highly recommend joining these clubs for the free food. One time someone gave me a ticket for a free wine! I got lemonade instead because I am not yet old enough for wine; I also got these cheesecake brownies that were so good! There are many study places around the atriums and there is also a Panda Express in the basement! This place is so cool and very spacious and aesthetic.

Eli Curran-Moore: 🤵🏼

Kevin Kuhn: Great facilities, excellent administration, and top notch students!

Jane Ahmann: So good I had to spend 4 years here!

Mary Ahmann: Great place to drop a few bucks. 😉

Maggie Ahmann: Kind of expensive but good job opportunities

Everett Brun: Yummmmmmyyyyy

Aric Bertram: Went for the annual art sale. 2023 had 500 artists and 6,000 pieces of art. $2,000 max price, $50 average.

Daniel Appleby: The campus; the studios, the faculty, the students, the Art, are all first rate! And then the is the location. Adjacent to the Minneapolis institute of Art or MIA which is a wonderful art museum, right down down the street from the Walker Art Center which is an excellent contemporary Art Museum/resource complete with the late great Siah Armajani’s fantastic poetry bridge that takes one over and or back from the lovely Lorring Park where there is much to see and do.

kinderhood: They always seem like they are art minded when I see the students.

noreen swan: So much beautiful art to see all for free!

Laura Giovannini: MIA spectacular exhibition on Japanese textiles

Josh Fay: This is my favorite place in the cities. Endless amounts of art. Impossible to take it all in the same day

Sokhom Leav:

Minnehaha Academy - High School: what do users think?

Sasha Bordeaux: Incredibly grateful my child goes here!

Ryan Larson: I have enjoyed working at Minnehaha for the past 7 years. The community found here is second to none. We care deeply about one another and all of our students and make sure that everyone has the support that they need. I'm always amazed at all that we have to offer for such a small school. Students here experience a wide variety of options in courses, athletics and fine arts and all of our programs pursue high standards of excellence.

Julia Stewart: A member of the Class of 2006, I still think back on the tremendous influence of Minnehaha on my life. Though MA is an academically rigorous college prep school, teachers see students beyond their academic ability. They are equally devoted to helping students grow as whole people as they model critical thinking, compassion and humility. 15 years after graduating, many of my former teachers are still working at Minnehaha. In a field with so much burnout, it's worth noting that teachers at MA stay for the long haul. This speaks to their passion, their devotion to students and to the MA community at-large. When I went to college, I was able to test out of a handful or required college courses due to the various AP options available to me at MA. I've always been thankful for that. Academics aside, the best part about Minnehaha is that it is a community that helped bring my faith to life. It is a place that fosters a love of asking questions rather than resorting to easy answers.

Joshua Schwartz: Funny.

Julie Johnson: - this is of utmost important to the awesome faculty and staff at this PreK-12 school. Students are supported to grow and mature to their full potential while recognizing their gifts and talents that they can use in service to God and to others. We would not hesitate to recommend others to attend Minnehaha Academy and be part of the beautiful community and family feel this school provides.

Karen Lutgen: Our family is grateful to be part of the MA community. Not only do I have a dream job on faculty, but our child is challenged and nurtured daily at the lower school. It's a wonderful place for all of us to grow as whole people and experience the love of God daily.

Julie Harnack: Minnehaha is a great school. I currently have two kids in the High School and I would highly recommend this school! It is a Christ centered environment, has great academics and my children feel loved/cared for!

My children's teachers are all very involved with their educations and future academia enrichment. But most of all, as parents, be involved in your children's education. Teachers and staff are there to help children grow, you're there to ensure your children growth.

Thatkid_ CJ: This is a good school i go there it really gives us a academic challenge in second grade I was wasn’t one of the smartest I. My class but now I’m on the A Honor roll.but they are very unfair they are harsh and if a smart kid gets in they will basically give you in school detention but if a kid that never does there work they always let them get away with things. There is a really good teaching staff .

Bri W: Both my kids go here and my 2nd grader has been reading books since kindergarten
