Heather Piehl: We stayed overnight after a concert at US Bank Stadium - awesome location for that, just a quick few minute walk!Service at front desk less than desirable.Rooms are on the small side.If you like a more modern feel instead of a more home/cozy feel, this one is for you.
Lisa M Arvizu: We checked in late at night. We had to be buzzed in to the lobby. The desk attendant was friendly and professional. Hotel parking is expensive so we asked about options and she was very helpful. Although, I’m not a fan of the decor throughout the hotel it was very clean. The needs are comfortable. The temperature was comfortable. I felt safe. Typical prices for hotel food. Neither the open areas or the room are large but it’s adequate space for a night or two. Like I said I didn’t care for the decor but it was clean.
Wendy Jackson: So close to the light rail, so getting to the airport and mall of America is a breeze. Price is great, it is connected to the Skywalk. There are no microwaves in the room, I think that is a fire safety issue, but there is one near the lobby elevator that got filthy after 1-person-use. Oh yeah, a skip and a hop to Trader Joes and Starbucks.Walkability: Great walking area, just don't pass any interstate roads. It gets sketchy.

The check-in is easy and can be done online as well as check out. There is a bar/ restaurant which is small but is great for a quick bite or drinkRooms: Every time we’ve stayed rooms have been clean and well cared for. They have a modern vibe to them.Safety: This hotel is safe, the street level door does lock at night. You have access back in with your room key.Walkability: Great if visiting US Bank Stadium!

They don't take on any dog who they don't think will flourish in the environment. Recently, we had a last-minute change for Thanksgiving and weren't able able to take our beagle/lab mix. They were able to accommodate the change, and even got him a nice, doggy-safe Thanksgiving meal, which he enjoyed!Bring your dogs here! They will be safe, and will come back tired and happy!

Richard B: My 10 month old Great Dane Nora has been going for the last 5 months and we couldn’t be happier. My work schedule is hard on her most of the week so it’s great that she can be dropped off and play and socialize with other dogs and people instead of being kenneled up all day by herself. And they do a great job with being able to give her her own treats per my request, and it’s super convenient that she can also get baths and nail trims while she’s there. Going to try boarding her here in the next week for an extended weekend and I am not worried one but cuz I know she will be taken care of and have a ton of fun with her friends. Thank you for the awesome job you guys do!!
Denny Piatt: When visiting the Twin Cities, we ALWAYS leave our dogs at Lucky Dog Pet Lodge. We had three of them until last May, when we lost our malti-poo. We leave our dogs at Lucky Dog with the confidence the staff will provide excellent care and have NEVER been disappointed. Staff is friendly and helpful. As an added bonus, it's neat to go to the Lucky Dog web site and see our furry housemates.

And the prices of the packages can't get beat! We moved to Minnesota last year and this place was down the street, however we just moved much further away but still make the drive because we love this place so much. Highly recommend Lucky Dog Pet Lodge!

We got a full report card about her day, including which dogs she played with, and she came home happy and tired. She now drops in regularly and is always greeted by name. We feel completely comfortable leaving her and are so grateful to have found this spot!

Ashlyn Watson: I would like to say that this place is honestly beyond amazing. It’s nice to see an owner actually care about his business, the dogs, and the people that work there. I’m an anxiety prone dog parent, and I haven’t had any inch of anxiety when I bring my dog with me to work and when I leave her here overnight for boarding. She’s always super tired when she comes home and has made so many best friends. I’ve worked at other dog places and I can say that this place is by far the best! No kennels in the room! No forced nap times! Play from when the building opens to when it closes. It has really helped ease my anxiety when it comes to my 4 month old puppy!
andrea McKernon: Great opportunity for my little buddy to socialize and burn off energy. Great opportunity for me to do errands, clean, etc knowing doggo isn't getting freaked out in the crate or suffering the horror of the vacuum cleaner. Staff is knowledgeable and always gives a run down of how the visit went. Dog is always delighted to go and exhausted when we pick up. He's a very social dog with limited local dog friends so Ruff Love is perfect. The dogs are supervised by behavioral professionals and my pup seems to be less stubborn. Much appreciated. Not only does he seem happier, he seems better around other dogs, and is so excited to go to daycare. The facility is clean, well kept and everyone is so pleasant. I am so glad that I found RLD!
joeyishere231: I worked here for about 3 years. Started as a dog handler and worked my way up to management. Life took me away from the cities otherwise I'd still be working here. Nothing but good things to say. I have 13 years professional experience in this industry working in 6 different daycare facilities across 3 states. This place does it right. There's no such thing as a daycare without risk, but ruff love is the safest environment for dogs I've worked in. There's a negative review talking about this place being a poor working environment, and that could only be because of the level of supervision they expect from the staff. Give RLD a shot.
Noah Jacobs: We’re still new to this place but are already big fans! After feeling that out previous daycare was getting a little too crowded, we checked out RLD on the suggestion of, well, just about everyone in Northeast. The entry was immediately calm and inviting for our new dog assessment, and when we came back for the first time Garbanzo was already ready to walk in without a staffer like he owned the place! Would love to see more photos posted on social media, but the proof of the pudding is in the snoozing when we get home.

The staff is so friendly and professional and they are so sweet to my dog Pearl, a rescue who is learning about good behavior with people and other dogs. It seems to be a smaller facility than a couple others we've tried but that's a good thing IMO. The location is easy to get in and out of. Their booking system is convenient and efficient, they are responsive to text requests, and have fit Pearl in for overnights on relatively short notice. Pearl always comes home tired and happy!!
Mark .Allseits: Best of the best. Free roam concept for boarding is the only way to go. Excellent staff, clean facility, fair pricing. We drive 40 min to take our dog here after moving out to the burbs. Well worth the trip.

geoff nelson: Great place to stay, we stayed here for my birthday and I love the rustic feel while also being well taken care of. We stay here a couple times a year and every time the experience is awesome. The hot tub can get busy on the roof but feels great and doesn’t give off that nasty hotel hot tub vibe which is common with public pools. Truly amazing feeling on a cold night!! Sauna and bathroom area along with shower area is really nice and clean feeling on the roof and they even provide lockers with codes for you to store your belongings while you are using the amenities. Close to restaurants and everywhere else downtown so you can arrive and give your keys to the valet then not worry about driving anywhere until you leave. The restaurants in the building are a bit more modern style diners with unique dishes and as much as I enjoy trying different food sometimes I just want to know what I am getting. Not a negative thing just something different for me. Price totally justify’s what you get at this hotel. I highly recommend everyone to stay here and do not think you will be disappointed.

When I pick my dog up, I get to see all different breeds and sized dogs and how happy and comfortable all of them are there together and that is what counts! All of the animals love her!

pizzapieyum: Recently stayed for a work trip and it was an overall good experience!Staffs are very welcoming and helpful in general. Sophia was very professional, and other front desk staffs were friendly as well.But the valet staffs were really going above and beyond — they always greet you with big smiles, remember you, and help you with finding your uber, loading the bags, etc. I did not get their names but all of them were amazing. They seriously need a raise.The only downside was that the room was not the best for working. It does have a desk but not a desk chair, just more of a stool. The amenities were a bit basic and lacking in detail as well.

Environmental controls were easy to understand. The TV was huge! Accessing channels was odd. As far as I could figure out you have to negotiate an Internet connection to view anything. There were no clear instructions, so it was a bit frustrating to figure out.I have nothing but praise for the staff. They were unfailingly courteous and friendly. I was there for a conference and the catering staff were also very personable and efficient. I never interacted with the housekeeping staff. They kept my room pleasantly clean and neat.There were loads of restaurants in the immediate vicinity. P Bouton: Good wifi, hot water, gym, maid service, and check-in. I did have a problem with being served uncooked fish at the bar which caused stomach upset for several days in the first of a 3 night stay and no one checked up on me after initially discussing the clearly undercooked dish with the chef and a manager. Otherwise a good hotel and great location to the city convention center.

Xav Lee: Great place. I don’t like that other boarding places literally keep dogs in a kennel for nearly 24 hours a day so Fun City was my first choice since they let the dogs roam about and have someone there to supervise.Only issue I have is that the place really smells of dog urine, and after about three days of leaving my dogs there I guess the urine smell became ingrained in their coat, so I had to give them a good wash after.I think they should try using enzyme cleaners or something because the urine smell just blows through your soul the moment you walk into the place, but other than that I think the staff there are professional and I would recommend this place as they don’t just keep your dog in a kennel all day.
Janet Fisher: My German Shepherd loves Fun City Dogs and I do, too. He’s been going fairly regularly for six-plus years. The staff takes very good care of him whether he’s there for daycare or boarding a few days. It’s great for him to socialize and convenient for me.
littlebigdirector: We love Fun City Dogs! The staff are so friendly, knowledgable, and great with the dogs. They have doggie-cams set up that you can access online and see your fur-baby having a fun time with their new friends. We've also boarded our little guy overnight and it was a big success because they have all the dogs together in one big room. They don't put dogs in crates or a small room leaving them alone. The dogs are all together with overnight staff and they feel safe and secure. And the grooming is top-notch! I'm so happy with his adorable cut when he's groomed here. But you have to make an appointment in advance for grooming, just so you know. We will be coming here for many years to come, I highly recommend them.

Michael Nakashima: Four Paws and the staff are excellent! Our dog, Dolly, is always well taken care of. When we first would drop her off she would be skittish because it was a new place. Now she gives us a quick goodbye, barks that we should have a great weekend and then trots off to her personal kennel. They have play time for the dogs, a dog yard for the dogs, you can pay for extra play time and other amenities. It's great! Thanks Four Paws!
