With over 7,000 square feet of indoor space and 4 play rooms, your dog will find a friend no matter his energy level or size. We offer over 20,000 square feet of outdoor play space.

4worldlovers: We’re always here when you need us—it doesn’t matter if you’re taking a red-eye, working the night shift, or just running late. Our facility is staffed at all hours of the day, every day of the year.

For the safety of our staff, your pet, and all of the pets in our care we require all dogs to be on a leash or in a carrier and all cats and critters to be in a carrier.

All dogs must be spayed/neutered over the age of 6 months to participate in group play. Individual playtime is available for intact dogs over 6 months.

Cats must be spayed/neutered over the age of 6 months to board with us.

Now Boarding reopened in February 2021 under new ownership. Although we’re no longer associated with Animal Humane Society, our goal is to continue the great experience you and your pet have come to expect from a stay at Now Boarding.

Daycare reservations not canceled before 7 p.m. the prior day OR are a no show, will be charged a $10 late cancel/no show fee.

If we have the space to accommodate your reservation request, a deposit will be collected as follows:

50% deposit for holidays (New Years, MLK, Presidents Day, Spring Break, Easter, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, MEA, Thanksgiving, Christmas (plus the week before & after)).

Deposits in most cases will be collected at the time the reservation is made:

If the client has a credit card on file, the deposit will be charged to that card at the time the reservation is made.

For client submitted reservations, the deposit will be charged to the credit card on file at the time the reservation is accepted.

If there is no credit card on file, we will get that information at the time we make the reservation or contact the client for client submitted reservations.

Cancellations must be made 72 hours (3 days) prior to avoid losing the deposit.

You must cancel 2 weeks prior to receive your deposit back, otherwise, deposit is forfeited.

Fun City Dogs offers dog daycare, boarding, and grooming for your furry family members. We have over 15,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor play areas. There are five different rooms to run around inside and two outdoor play yards at our dog day care in Minneapolis.


Dog daycare is daytime playtime with a full day of fun activities for your dog. We have both indoor and outdoor time for your furry best friend. We are open seven days a week for dog daycare in Minneapolis. You can bring your dog anywhere from an hour or two so you can run some errands, or you can bring them for a full day to give yourself time to go to work and not worry about leaving your dog at home.

Boarding is free roam with NO CAGES. The dogs are allowed to play all day and sleep in a slumber party at night for boarding. That is as close to home as you can get! A staff member is on hand to pet, supervise, and play with your dog 24 hours per day. Once you experience our dog boarding, you will not want your dog anywhere else. They’ll even want to keep coming back to play with the new friends they meet.

Our retail section carries the treats, dog beds, pooper scoopers, and toys we use ourselves. There are a variety of cute leashes and slip leads. We carry a variety of educational toys and tugs! We also have doggy backpacks and life jackets. You can purchase all of these items in our store or online in your customer portal.

My dog can't wait to get here! The staff has really developed a good relationship and understanding of my dog and all of her furry and fun friends!!! Drop off and pick up are smooth and the price beats any of the daycares around! I love the concept of overnight boarding with no KENNELS!!!! A staff member sleeps with my dog on the couch...just like me!

Having rescued a pitbull mix, we greatly appreciate Fun City Dogs' cage-free boarding. We didn't want our pooch to feel like she was back in a shelter, and she LOVES playing with other dogs. When we pick her up she is exhausted and well socialized. We also appreciate that they judge dogs on their ability to get along with other dogs, not their breed. Thanks for caring for our four-legged baby!

My dog absolutely LOVES Fun City! She isn't the most social of dogs, but the special care and attention she gets from the staff makes her (and me!) so comfortable there. The staff are all super knowledgable, friendly, and helpful. It's a phenomenal place, I can't recommend it enough!
