Alex Trembley: I’m not sure what to say about TWB that hasn’t been said in the hundreds of positive reviews before me. If you purchase a cake here, prepare to be blown away by the love and detail added to it. The staff is incredible and they will 100% work with you to support your budget and still produce something amazing. This is a small business worth supporting even in difficult financial times.Parking: Street parking is available and it’s usually pretty chillKid-friendliness: The cakes they produce are meant for everyone, including kids!
Leslie Lorentzen: Thirsty Whale was who we went with for our wedding cake. The tasting box was phenomenal. Only wish is that we could have met with someone about the design of our cake - we did send them photos for inspiration and it turned out really well! We only had a bite of the cake ourselves as we were busy running around, but I heard from others that the flavor and texture were great! A good experience and we loved working with Thirsty Whale!

Andrew Voight: Probably the best donuts that we have had in the twin cities, hands down. My wife and I were looking for a new shop to try that we’d never been to before, and we saw this place had some pretty good reviews, and they are 100% deserved. The gentleman behind the counter that helped us was genuinely excited to have us in their shop, and about their products. He walked us through every donut they had, and gave us his recommendations. There was also a donut that they were “testing out” that had a pineapple filling that was extraordinary. It was topped with a mango icing and white chocolate flakes. Keep working on that, because that pineapple filling needs to be featured in a donut for sure. I’ll be back on a monthly cadence for the maple bacon donut, because the filling inside of that thing just might possibly be the key to world peace. Great bakery.
Nope Nadda: I had heard about these guys for months at least 6 months. So then I finally was going to swing by and they were closed permanently!! And I don't know how I found out that someone saved the day but as soon as I could I went in there to try them out finally... Turns out I AM a donut guy. I was just waiting for someone to make a key lime pie donut and they did it so diabetes here I come!

Michelle Benson: Rebecca's European inspired pastries are addicting and luscious. They are not with sugary frostings or artificial flavors but home whipped cream frostings and real fresh fruit folded into layer cakes. The cannoli's are filled with slightly tart and sweet filling dipped in chocolate. My favorite is the Millefoglie, a flaky puff pastry layered with a rich whipped cream that is indescribable! There are too many creations to list but I guarantee, you WILL not find anyplace like Rebecca's.

Susan Du: Cocoa and Fig created the dessert bar for our wedding. From ordering their sample box to coordinating delivery on the day of the event, working with owner Joe Lin was a breeze. It was important to us that in lieu of a wedding cake, our guests could have their pick of different treats that were elegant, naturally flavored, and not saccharine in the way that cheaper desserts can be. Cocoa and Fig was everything we hoped for. The friends and family were very happy.

They fit our vision perfectly - our dessert table was not only beautiful but delicious! Joe was great to work with and helped us create the perfect menu of dessert options. We are thrilled with our experience.
Monica Mack: We had a more casual wedding reception party and wanted a mini dessert spread so that guests could grab a treat as they wanted vs. waiting for a cake to be cut and served. We chose Cocoa & Fig and could not have been happier! The dessert sample box was a fun way to try out their different offerings and, when the day came, our guests raved about all the different options. Favorites were the mini key lime pie and butterscotch shooters! We ended up adding a small 6" cake to round out the dessert display and saved that to enjoy after the event. It was as delicious as everything else! Best buttercream we have ever had.

Jake Mathieu: We hired Cocoa & Fig to cater desserts at our wedding. We had a series of mini desserts and a small cake. The desserts were delivered and set up by Cocoa & Fig staff in a beautiful spread. The cake design perfectly matched the photo we sent in and the strawberry champagne flavor was one of the best tasting cakes we ever had. The mini desserts were a huge hit at the wedding. We ordered the recommended amount based on the amount of people we had at the wedding and the entire table was cleared out by the end of the night which shows how much people enjoyed them. They were very easy to work with and accommodating when our wedding had to be rescheduled during Covid. We would highly recommend!

Joe, the owner, brought us in for a personal tasting where we were able to sample and learn more about the process of making and transporting these wonderful cupcakes. We were sold and had a hard time deciding on which flavors to choose! Also, we had to make a last second change to the delivery location of the cupcakes. Joe got back to us promptly the day of the wedding to make sure the cupcakes made it to the right place. We highly recommend Cocoa and Fig as your dessert vendor for a wedding or get together big or small.
Sukanya Narayanan: In a very short notice of 48 hours, Cocoa and fig gave me a custom cake which no other bakeries did. They quickly understood my requirement, gave their suggestions and within hours they started working on the cake. I went with their sinfully chocolate and it's a must try cake for cake lovers. It was in perfect sweetness and the guests at our party kept asking for more and some had the cake packed and took it home.Theypacked it neatly and the delivery was on time. I would definitely recommend this shop for my friends for any of their special occasions. They have very good clarity of thought and they exactly understand what the customer wants. Overall a very satisfying purchase.

Our older daughter often has quite specific requirements, and they invariably manage to accommodate her. She was thrilled with this year's cake: a "purple and gold fairy" theme! And the cake itself is DELICIOUS - we always get a ton of compliments!

Tracy Byrd: I had a mishap and dropped my goodies. When I came inside to throw out the ones on the ground, the manager offered me up new goodies on the house. I was not expecting that. It's that kind of service that keeps people coming back!Kid-friendliness: The managers always engage the children in conversation. It's part of the charm and ambiance.
James Saint James: I've driven by this bakery several times in the past year. I decided to stop today and I was pleasantly surprised at the donut holes I tried. Light and extremely delicious with a touch of lemon.I was on the go so they're exactly what I needed...nice and poppable while driving.I highly recommend this bakery.On the downside the bakery didn't offer any coconut milk,to wash down the donuts. 🤔

Susan: I've been here a number of times and the last two were literally a serve yourself situation. The donuts are outstanding, and I understand that in its day, the service was also. I'm not sure if they just can't staff it, or if there's health issues with the owner; but the set up is very odd.I'm not looking for an experience where I stand outside by the door, call a number to be let in. Then instructed via phone to go behind the bakery counter and serve myself. All this to then pay the same price as I would in a full service/friendly bakery. It felt rather messy, maybe even unsanitary, and unsafe.

Not Applicable: My buddy had this cake made for my birthday. The only beer I drink is Colt 45. This was the coolest cake I ever got. The attention to detail was just crazy from the froth to the pull tab on top of the can. I guess anything is possible! Besides the cake design the cake itself was great too. If you're looking for a custom-made cake I would highly recommend using these people.
Trina T: was sooo helpful & kind! I was so relieved when he said they could help NOT going to lie I was skeptical on how things would turn out since it was so last minute. Not only were they able to make the cake EXACTLY how I wanted it, they even added a little extra to it, which I LOVED & the cake was absolutely DELICIOUS & a big hit!! I'll definitely be coming here from now on for my cakes! Also for what I wanted & it being last minute the cost wasn't all that pricey either. Thanks again guys!!

The staff at check-out were very careful packing it, and I had no problems bringing it home.I ordered a German Chocolate cake. The frosting was very sweet, and I LOVED the caramel coconut filling. ❤️ The cake itself was delicious too.Wonderful experience! Would definitely order again. 😁

Tim Lintz: This place truly is a hidden gem. Not all cheesecake is created equal, and these delicacies handcrafted by Tami are a level above any cheesecake I have ever had. They are soft, creamy, and delicious. My favorite is the Key Lime variety, with the perfect blend of sweet and tart. She makes several different flavors, with at least one option sure to please even the most picky eater. I am in Texas and it arrived within 2 days. I highly recommend ordering one, or five, not just for you to indulge, but for gifts as well.
Destiny Kennerson: I love cheesecake and don't think I've ever experienced one that is so delightfully delicious! Let me start with the presentation. Even if you don't live close, you can have one delivered right to your door, how convenient?! When you open your box it's been carefully contained in Styrofoam security perfect encasing the precious cargo. It stays chilled with the convenient ice pack and instructions for storage are conveniently right on top. The cheesecake is carefully wrapped up and looks just so delicious! Now, it comes presliced in 12 pieces, which are generously portioned and so easy and convenient to take out what you need and save the rest.The taste!!!!! Oh my goodness the taste is like biting into a slice of heaven.. you can tell these are made with love and care. The flavor is rich and makes you feel like you have done something amazing to deserve this decadence! I highly recommend ordering. I tried the NY style and can only imagine how incredible the other flavors are also

I won my cheesecake on Facebook and chose the "Chocolate Decadence" and OMG... If you're a chocolate lover this is definitely the way to go, it's absolutely delish!! E K: Amazing cheesecake! I was never the biggest fan of cheesecake but this place made me a fan. I just shared some of my key lime with family at Easter and they all loved it. I shared some minis with coworkers and they all said how much they loved it as well.The cheesecake is so light and creamy. And the crust is a very important part as well that is done perfectly. I spoke with the owner when is stopped in and she was so enjoyable to chat with. The staff was so friendly as well, even holding the door when I left as they thanked me. I will definitely go back.
Kathleen Karsko: . Over the years we have tried so many flavors and they have all been excellent. Turtle is my current favorite. You can also freeze the cheesecake. They also have food trucks weekly in the late spring - early fall months. You really need to try this cheesecake.

Julie Lo: and upon checking the receipt, I noticed I was charged incorrectly. I was charged 20 glazed and 10 frosted donuts. Worked out for me because the glazed was cheaper than the frosted and it basically covered my missing donut anyways . Despite this, the donuts are really good, but the service was disappointing.

Upon exiting the establishment, an endearing character approached me, “M..milky White, is that you..?” a smile wiped itself across my face, a familiar friend indeed! BUT……. To my absolute dismay, her head was missing! I looked around, completely bewitched… SHWOP! A rock hard object came soaring towards my face. On the floor I dropped covered in blood, “oh providence my milky white!”. With me were three witnesses: Jack, The Baker and none other than the culprit The wife of the Baker!Wheelchair accessibility: I left in a wheelchair.
