I sought her help for situations most property managers would not encounter - specifically, I needed a referral for a client of mine.Megan - with all that happens to be on her plate and with no existing hist0ry with me other than she works on site for our association - took detailed note of my needs and knew a resource, actually the perfect resource. Megan invested in making sure that I was able to QUICKLY start getting help. Effort is always important but sometimes despite the best effort, a good outcome is not assured. Here, Megan combined effort with her special insights and the results were I ended up with the best help, and best outcome. How did that happen? Because she knows how to manage relationships and that is a skill that pays off so much. She's irreplaceable in my book.
N: Megan has been a wonderful addition as the manager of our buildings. She is always very kind, very prompt with responses and very willing to help in any way she possibly can with anything you contact her about. In her role, Megan is the messenger on many things; because of this there are times when she is on the receiving end of unhappy feedback from residents. Through it all, Megan maintains her composure and never falters from being kind and helpful.
Alicia Johnson: We are moving into Cloud9 this Spring. The property's management was part of our decision to buy there. Professional, knowledgeable, friendly and responsive. Kinz: I rented with Matcom for about 1.5 years. They were very easy to work with, maintenance was always speedy. Overall a good experience and I would rent with them again.
Heather O'Neil: Lived here for two years. Always timely with maintenance requests and helpful. Also the building was very secure and always locked, felt safe in the Minneapolis neighborhood we were in.
kelly Gabriele: I live in one of the properties Matcom manages and they have been beyond helpful whenever I voice my concerns. This time in particular, Sarah, really went above and beyond. Our washing machine/dryer hasn’t been very reliable and I have lost many quarters to the machine and when I called to let matcom know Sarah picked up the phone and listened to me complain about the laundry machines and that I have lost quarters. Without any hesitation she got in her car and drove to my apartment complex to give me a roll of quarters because of the ones I had lost. Matcom as a whole is extremely lucky to have an employee like Sarah. 10/10 would recommend living at one of their properties

They're quick to respond to my phone calls or emails and are good at keeping me informed. There's a reason I didn't hesitate to renew my lease!
Kourt Culver: and they would often email to check in a week or two later to make sure the issue had been resolved. I always felt comfortable and safe at the property. Finally, they give you a warning about the security deposit, they do a pre walk through and tell you want to look out for. We cleaned everything except the oven and that’s all they charged us for. We got 90% of our deposit back! If I needed to live cheap near the U again I would definitely rent through Matcom

Bridget Ayers Looby: I really enjoyed my experience in the MATCOM property. The management was easy to work with, and the hardwood floors, antique built-in, large windows and excellent location sweetened the deal. Whenever I requested repair to the apartment, a MATCOM worker was on the task within 24 hours. The maintenance staff was very friendly, and made sure their visits worked with my schedule. The property manager was always clear and punctual in his communication, and always treated my concerns with respect and care. Great properties, great staff.
Shawn Burtis: - they had it covered. The maintenance workers are very respectful of our property. I was most impressed when our washer broke on a Monday, they inspected it on Tuesday, and we had a new unit Wednesday.

Jake Szeligowski: I really appreciated my time with Baker Management Group. I lived in the 2622 3rd Ave S location, and only have good things to say. The space was fantastic, amazing refinished hardwood floors, and original finishes kept in tact. Management was very responsive and timely. I had an issue with my fridge when I initially moved in, I reported it to maintenance and the next day I had a brand new fridge installed. I would highly recommend living in one of their properties.
Mary Darwich: I have lived in a Baker managed property for almost 5 years and I love them! They are quick to respond to any request, have a professional cleaning team maintain the common area's and are committed to their tenant's enjoying a safe place to live. Beside's all of those qualities, I really appreciate the architecture of these vintage apartments. Spacious, with walk in closets and built in shelves and drawers. I feel lucky to have this place. Great price for the square footage too!

Ariel Johnson: I lived at Twin Court Apartments for 2 years and couldn’t have been happier. Always quick to answer questions, offer help, and respond to maintenance requests. I wasn’t sure how to put my AC unit in and they came by, set it up, and went to cut a 2x4 the exact size I needed so it would sit straight. It’s an old building, so the toilet had issues, but they would often get there same day to fix it. They made a roommate switch feel like a breeze, responded promptly every time I had a question and near move out they always made sure we knew when showings would be happening. Great communication, very professional but friendly. I’ve only been gone 2 weeks and I am already planning to seek out their properties next time I move. Highly highly recommend.
Leonie Mann: This is a really great company. I lived in one of their buildings for almost 5 years. The building i lived in wasn’t modernized, but the management team was what made the experience great for me. The apartment was very cute and super close to everything including downtown Minneapolis. So sad to leave Minneapolis altogether, but very grateful I was under the care of Baker Management during my time there. I totally recommend this company because of the people who run it!
Ashley Ordonez: The staff is friendly and always take care of issues within a week. They made sure to always let me know when they were going to be doing maintenance. Whenever I reach out with questions or requests, they respond within a business day. The rent is great for the size of the apartment and the location. You can tell they care about their tenants. I've lived with them for over a year and plan to stay with them for quite some time.

I and my colleague get compliments on how well they are greeted both in person and on the phone. Randi Meyer: is not the same as a rental community Property Manager. Property Management is not a vested owner; they follow the directives of the HOA Board of Directors. After working with various Management companies, I can say that CAG is the real deal. Knowledgeable, responsive and attentive are what best sums them up.HOA members can find fault with any management company; mainly because they simply do not understand their governing documents. Education is key. Keep up the good work CAG!

George and Kathy Magdal: for about 15 years. I was on the Board of Directors for most of that time. I didn’t have anyone to compare them to until we hired another management company in 2021. It was quite the eye opener. Any complaints I can think of about CAG are trivial when compared to our new property manager, Associa MN. CAG was fast to respond, and knew us well, but the most important thing CAG did was to care, and they showed it by looking out for us. For instance, they had staff on site nearly every day checking the neighborhood and making sure our vendors were doing their job. CAG thought ahead, made sure we met our obligations on time, and that our income/expenses were on track. Yes, that’s their job, but I can tell you they do it well, and some property managers don’t do it at all, and that makes a lot more work for the board.CAG was replaced when some owners became upset. A hailstorm caused us to replace roofs early, and some didn’t have the large deductible covered by their HO6 policy. The deducible was spelled out long before the storm in mailings from both the insurance company and CAG, but not everyone reads all their mail.If you want your management company to handle your property management, I recommend CAG. If you are more of a “hands on” type, get Associa MN, and you can do the work yourself.Many of the reviews here are critical. Owners should understand your board of directors makes the choices of what the HOA fees are and how to spend them, not the management company. When I was on our board, I would tell owners we can do whatever they want, as long as they’re willing to pay for it.I was told in a P.R. class once that people will rarely tell anyone when they’re happy with a service but tell many when they’re upset. I guess that’s me too. I’m very upset with our current property management company, and really miss CAG. ☹

Lisa Berkeley: This management company is unresponsive, makes excuses, and hangs up on homeowners. If you are considering this company, I have one word, RUN!

Peter Pan: I think all management companies get a bad wrap. We have been through several in the time I have lived hear. CAG is local, and responds to our needs ten times quicker then international management companies.
