kelly Gabriele: I live in one of the properties Matcom manages and they have been beyond helpful whenever I voice my concerns. This time in particular, Sarah, really went above and beyond. Our washing machine/dryer hasn’t been very reliable and I have lost many quarters to the machine and when I called to let matcom know Sarah picked up the phone and listened to me complain about the laundry machines and that I have lost quarters. Without any hesitation she got in her car and drove to my apartment complex to give me a roll of quarters because of the ones I had lost. Matcom as a whole is extremely lucky to have an employee like Sarah. 10/10 would recommend living at one of their properties

They're quick to respond to my phone calls or emails and are good at keeping me informed. There's a reason I didn't hesitate to renew my lease!

Kourt Culver: and they would often email to check in a week or two later to make sure the issue had been resolved. I always felt comfortable and safe at the property. Finally, they give you a warning about the security deposit, they do a pre walk through and tell you want to look out for. We cleaned everything except the oven and that’s all they charged us for. We got 90% of our deposit back! If I needed to live cheap near the U again I would definitely rent through Matcom

The management was easy to work with, and the hardwood floors, antique built-in, large windows and excellent location sweetened the deal. Whenever I requested repair to the apartment, a MATCOM worker was on the task within 24 hours. The maintenance staff was very friendly, and made sure their visits worked with my schedule. The property manager was always clear and punctual in his communication, and always treated my concerns with respect and care. Great properties, great staff.

The space was fantastic, amazing refinished hardwood floors, and original finishes kept in tact. Management was very responsive and timely. I had an issue with my fridge when I initially moved in, I reported it to maintenance and the next day I had a brand new fridge installed. I would highly recommend living in one of their properties.

Beside's all of those qualities, I really appreciate the architecture of these vintage apartments. Spacious, with walk in closets and built in shelves and drawers. I feel lucky to have this place. Great price for the square footage too!

I wasn’t sure how to put my AC unit in and they came by, set it up, and went to cut a 2x4 the exact size I needed so it would sit straight. It’s an old building, so the toilet had issues, but they would often get there same day to fix it. They made a roommate switch feel like a breeze, responded promptly every time I had a question and near move out they always made sure we knew when showings would be happening. Great communication, very professional but friendly. I’ve only been gone 2 weeks and I am already planning to seek out their properties next time I move. Highly highly recommend.

The building i lived in wasn’t modernized, but the management team was what made the experience great for me. The apartment was very cute and super close to everything including downtown Minneapolis. So sad to leave Minneapolis altogether, but very grateful I was under the care of Baker Management during my time there. I totally recommend this company because of the people who run it!

Shawn Zitzloff: Millennium Management has been a great place to live. They have affordable housing and great locations to choose from. Many places near the U of M from houses to apartments. They run great rental specials of no application fee-no pet rent/deposit-half off security deposit. All the rentals are pet friendly to your cat or dog. Overall, a decent affordable place for students to live.

bruce froemming: I lived at Barbary Knolls for 3 years and really liked living there. The Park like setting with walking trails is the main reason I chose Barbary. Turns out it was nice and quiet and the neighbors were always nice.The building has been very well maintained providing what I would call a high quality of life.Management always stayed on top of any issues that arose. When my a.c went out it was replaced the next day. If I ever move back to the metro area, I know where I'm moving to. Barbary

Steve Dusek: We have been at this address in Wayzata for 23 years. The location is a real plus, it's beautiful year round and walking distance to downtown Wayzata. It's on the lake, close to everything and a great area to walk, ride bikes, etc. It's a quiet building and any maintenance issues are handled quickly and efficiently. We have great neighbors that are all respectful of each other.The management maintains the building and property very well and we really enjoy living here.

Because she knows how to manage relationships and that is a skill that pays off so much. She's irreplaceable in my book.

N: Megan has been a wonderful addition as the manager of our buildings. She is always very kind, very prompt with responses and very willing to help in any way she possibly can with anything you contact her about. In her role, Megan is the messenger on many things; because of this there are times when she is on the receiving end of unhappy feedback from residents. Through it all, Megan maintains her composure and never falters from being kind and helpful.

As a member of the board I experience his responsiveness first hand. Emails are returned at lightning speed with answers to every question posed to him. He assumes responsibility for organizing our board agendas and gives leadership on every issue facing us. I trust his advice implicitly. It's rare to find such a responsible person.
