Landmark's Lagoon Cinema: what do users think?

Zachary Vrieze-Maloney: It is what it is. Support local movie theaters that support independent films.

Valerie Little: I love this neighborhood theatre. They show interesting and fun films, some of which you can't find anywhere else.

Nick: Love this theater. Ticket prices are reasonable especially on Tuesdays. Screen is nicely sized and seating is comfortable enough. Employees working here are cool and friendly! My one gripe is the price of concessions, but every theater seems to have extremely high prices so nothing out of the ordinary. Bathroom is okay.

C Hammerbeck: Came here for the first time for an evening showing of Poor Things here. It's a great little theatre and the people working here were kind. It's nice to have a theatre in Uptown.

Maureen Lauer: Film curation rocks!!

Bethany Wilde: was exceptionally kind and helpful and personable during my show today.

Denise hiknee: Seeing maestro there was an awesome experience. Very powerful. Treats were giod too

Madeline Uren: Fun little movie theatre that plays more obscure showings. Went there for Saltburn and Bottoms. Good prices.

Paolo Iaderosa: Good spot, solid prices

Gustav Bruhl: discount days.

St. Anthony Main Theatre: what do users think?

Hanneke V: Great cinema.

Sandra Walter Meyer: We saw an awesome independent film called The Artic Convoy. The cinema was well located downtown and had a special, urban feel along the walkable river area. Really nice.

Emilio Gx: Good movie theater

Tab Fellows: New seating. Located on a pretty brick road along the mighty Mississippi. Five big screens curated by a long lived non-profit.

Joe Erchul: Love the theater and the MSP International Film Festival.

Andrew F Seifert: Small and clean. Very comfy.

João Gabriel Duarte: Nice price for students!

Wendy Steele: Swamp Dogg gets his pool painted. Wow, what a show!! Great venue!

Leah Zarbano: Amazing service! Shout out to employee Sam for personally guiding us to our wheelchair-accessible seats!! Plus interesting film options, and the popcorn is A+. Will visit again!

The Trylon Cinema: what do users think?

Greg Rush: Enjoy the great Hitchcock movie and popcorn and treats were cheap. Love the comfortable chairs.

Nathan Sullivan: Lovely local theater that shows a great selection of classics and off beat movies.

Freddy Titi Deshalles: Great independant cinema. Lots of good films. Staff and volunteers are awesome.

M Schumacher: Favorite movie theater in town. Eclectic programming that brings me in time and time again like Tape Freaks, Cult Film Collective, Noir series, Hitchcock festival. Volunteers and staff are all super friendly. Good popcorn and beverage selection including Zenn. Seats are comfortable.

Brandy Churchill: Fun small venue for movies! Cash only for concessions and on-site ticket purchases--ATM in the lobby. Doors open 30 minutes before showtime. Tiny parking lot but lots of side streets where there's generally something available. Tasty popcorn, typical canned/bottled drinks and candy, very reasonable prices. The seats are comfortable and have cupholders. Clean space and friendly staff! A little hidden behind the coffee shop, but Google Maps knew exactly where I should go and there were some helpful signs as well. If you preorder your tickets online, you give your name at the concessions table.

Abraham Ziaimehr: Just the best theater and the best staff! Love this place sooooo much! Never leave us!

Cory Zerwas: Friendly staff and great watching experience. Wasn't aware of this gem until a friend invited me out. Will be back for more! Hope they get Brazil back soon - would be awesome to see on the big screen.

Mary Dobish: Great place to watch films on a real screen--films you might not see elsewhere--with film nerds like ourselves. They do a terrific job of curating films both topically, seasonally, and by cast.

Daniel Randolph: Very cool place. I was very pleased to find reasonably priced concessions. Not much parking...but a great place to bike to?

Meng X: An awesome movie theater. $8 general admission. $5 if purchased a membership card. Cash only. ATM available inside. Screen is reasonably sized so sit near the middle of the room. Real highlight is that it plays 35mm film. Also has a digital projector for DCP but colors can’t compare to analog 35mm film quality. Dolby surround stereo installed. My favorite place to watch vintage films on 35mm.

Connor Carroll: A true Minneapolis gem, the Trylon always has a cool and interesting film series on. Love the funny Melvin Van Peebles “no smoking” warning that they show at the start of many movies. The 6-film punchcards are a steal and they never expire!

Heights Theater: what do users think?

Regina Phalange: A little ashamed to admit growing up in the Blaine area Sunday was my first time in the much loved Heights Theater!! It did not disappoint! Parking was easy w their small lot on the South side of the building. The owners also own the Dairy Queen next door so you can get something there and bring it in to the theater! There is a large comfortable lobby complete w having to pass by an old time-y ticket window. The seating was comfortable and sound was great. The lobby also has a few old movie posters and an old...old movie camera! Thanks Heights Theater for a great movie experience!

Judy: This theater is absolutely beautiful! The whole experience is wonderful. The organist playing tunes a half hour before the show is great. It’s a must see if you have never been! We are loving the Hitchcock movies playing for the month of April. The Heights shows a lot of Classics and is classy!! Love it!

Tom Ervasti: Nice classic style older theater with traditional seating.

Rebecca D: . New releases plus themed showings throughout the year. Highly recommend!

J Ingalls: Hidden gem. Great service. Matinee prices can’t be beat

Sam Young: Great place to enjoy live music with a craft beer.

Geneva Fry: Thank you for starring Abby Jimenez! The Parkway Theater was the PERFECT place to hold her book launch-large enough to allow many of her fans the opportunity to see her and intimate enough to feel like you are a special VIP guest. The popcorn was delicious and the legroom in the seating area was incredibly spacious. Definitely an amazing venue!

Will Bryan: Great price, spacious seating, free parking, and plenty of options for food and drink right nearby.

Mike Dolbow: Love the Parkway! Amazing staff, cool events, and a vintage vibe.

Tim Emerson: Easy parking, bar in venue, fresh popcorn, wide variety of entertainment, classic venue. Good places nearby to eat. Safe neighborhood.

a Dom: Friendly experience! Nice staff! New seats!!

GARON TICHY: Enjoy watching movies there with my kids or by myself on occasion.

Azzairia Jackson: Love this movie theater. I love how affordable the prices are. I also love that they show current movies. In my experience smaller movie theater will show older films, but not this one.

Alyssia Kangas: $5 Tuesdays is the best

LOUISE LANGBERG: The visit was splendid! How good to see a dandy picture while eating freshly baked popcorn and drinking Coke products? Gotta admit that I really like regular theater seats instead of those annoying recliners! Got my soda glass refilled on my way out, too!

Gareth Hughes: Great little neighborhood theater with good movie selection.

Carrie Jarvis: Love Highland Mann theater! Always good prices, friendly staff, easy in and out, and comfortable seats. Supporting small businesses is so important to keep gems like the Mann theaters in our neighborhood.

Gary Laskowski: Nice folks

Noel Bendickson: Not looking for the huge mall theater experience and the prices were right.

Grandview Theatre: what do users think?

Finnbar Hodges: Small, but nice theater, with a cozy feel.

Jaxon Millette: My go to movie house! A fun classic theater experience. My only gripe is with the limited selection sometimes. Movies might be programmed for too long making it harder for repeat business.

Linnea Joanen: You can't beat Grandview. Great popcorn, incredible throwback screenings, friendly staff, and of course, the atmosphere. It warms a filmbro's soul. I try to come once a week and anxiously check the site throughout my week to see what screenings are coming up so that I can plan accordingly. Wish they always kept Reece's pieces in stock tho :(

Afroronin: Clean theater, respectful staff.

Morgan Ewen: We went here during the snow storm on Sunday night. I booked tickets online to see the new ghost Busters movie for myself, wife and two kids 11 and 7. My 7 yo son had never been to a movie theater so this was a great experience. My daughter who had only been to a large new silver city type theater center was taken back at first when she saw the retro looking sign and building but was soon impressed and may have learned to appreciate some things with a bit of history. The tickets were only 8 dollars each which I thought was pretty excellent for almost two hours of entertainment. To claim them at the front I only had to provide the last four digits of the card I booked them with and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We ordered drinks and popcorn which my wife paid for so I didn't catch the price although I believe they were to be expected theater prices. Maybe 6 bucks for a very large "medium" soft drink. The atmosphere outside the seating areas was most excellent and seemed very original and classic. The seating inside the theater was what impressed us the most with cup holders and seats the rocked back a little if you leaned or put your feet up. The only thing I would say is if you went here and the seating was packed plan your washroom breaks as I would predict a decent line up after a movie was over.

Malena Marschinke: Loved the seats, great remodel job! Great staff!!!

Sarah Witalka: Gorgeous vibrant old theater with two screens and classic movie concessions. Tuesday night reduced ticket prices are great although in the future I'd be willing to pay regular prices just to ensure the future of this marvelous building. Rich red velvet, gold embellished wallpaper in the bathroom, retro furniture in the seating areas. Perfect popcorn and friendly staff.

Olaf Minge: Best movies at a cool neighborhood theater. You almost don’t even need to check to see what’s playing - just show up and it’ll be a good one.

Carolyn Litzell: Love this affordable local theatre. Service is always friendly.

Sheida Rashidi: Vintage Movie Theatre! The ticket prices are reasonable, and I love the atmosphere. Just know that it is an old theatre, so the quality is not going to be as AMC.

Jocksan: Great place to watch a movie. Nice price, very clean and the staff very friendly

Rowan Smith: Keep movie theaters alive or else

Michelle Basham: Their staff are fantastic and their popcorn is the best!!!

Carlton Schaps: This is a nice 2 screen theater. I’m not sure there is an elevator to get to the little screen up above so keep that in mind if have mobility issues.

Ron Merchant: Always clean, comfortable seats and great sound system. Our favorite place to see movies!

Eddy Rice: Love how Mann's rehabbed it.

Robert Hatlestad: Fun to see this theater back open and fully remodeled. Great seats, bar and though to beat spot if you want to get dinner and go see a movie in the west metro. Loved the decorating theme with the Shining

Heather Edam: This is my favorite theater. Staff are friendly. The theaters are clean. The seats not only recline, but they also have a button to make them heated!

Jill Shadler: Love the renovation! Seats are amazing!

Lee Kafkas: Loved the theater! Big comfortable seats, lots of room, great sound. They may not have the flashiest Dolby or IMAX, but had great sound and visuals! The crowd was great, full of respectful movie goers. And I can't express how fun it was to see the gold room bar upstairs. All the vibe from the movie. The Shining was great.. the bar/ballroom, the twins, the typewriter and desk, the redrum door... And especially the bathrooms! Terrific job! A little bit of theater in the theater! And the drinks were great at the Gold room. It says you can go visit there without a ticket as well, so you should stop by just for a tipple and a tinkle! Fun!

Justin Chase: Casey is the best bartender I've come across in Minneapolis. It's weird they don't play horror movies despite the design of the bsry

Victor: I enjoyed this fabulous movie, "Pretty Things" at the Man. Theatre at 50th and France Ave. I forgot what a charming theater this really is. When I went they decorated for the movie "The Shining" complete with a large photo of the twins, and a desk covered with pages of "All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy". The seats are extremely comfortable with plenty of room to walk around. Wonderful theatre.

Raul Cuellar: Very comfortable renovated movie theater with current movies in the heart of Edina, MN

Michael Shields: What a great neighborhood theater and the seats are amazing. One could spend a full day of movie binging and be careful...so comfortable, you might nod off...

Rebekah Hovland: Our favorite movie place. Bar, heated reclined seats and cheap tickets on Tuesday!

Jane Kittelson: Love the heated, reclining seats, the roominess between the rows 👍👏❤️

Patricia Neal: Love this theater. Easy parking, fun concessions, great seating.

The only thing was this old Caucasian women with glasses tried to boss me . Yes I know ur not supposed totake pictures but she almost got her hand broken for trying to grab my phone. Yes she made me delete but still saved. Ever since we were walking in she was bossy and pushed one woman along

Andrew Hagen: The chairs don't recline. Otherwise it's the same as an AMC.

Paige: ! Also love that there’s a free parking ramp here. Haven’t tried the restaurant yet but there’s the option to buy food and drinks here as well. Definitely coming back.

Catherine Deponty: Love the live opera experience, so grateful for the opportunity to immerse myself in great music.

Said Shaiye: Easily the best movie experience in the twin cities. That kitchen is undefeated— the chicken Tikka pizza is a must. The warm donut bites are unbelievable. Sign up for a free VIP account and get food delivered to your seat + access to advance screenings. The ICONX showings are my favorite. Mind blowing sound and visuals. They can be a bit excessive for those of us who are sensory sensitive, but if you bring some eye & war protection, it’s worth the experience. Nothing like feeling that Dolby Atmos deep bass in your seat as you watch a blockbuster movie on that wall-to-wall screen. No shortage of movie options here & they play a wide selection of movies you won’t see at other places. 10/10 every time!

B H: Good theater, 4 stars because they don’t have any recliners like most other places.

Justin “Coin Scout” Irvine: Now with a full restaurant and bar!!Clean, assigned seating, friendly staff and state of the art facilities.

jay Riley: Plenty of free parking one of my favorite places to go watch a movie I go to the movies a lot so I choose to go on $5 Tuesday that way I don't feel bad if the movie is a flop can't go wrong for $5 give it a shot and if you're not sure about the movie going Tuesday like I do and have a nice time

Flow_Amv (Luis Angel): I have nothing negative to say but that I wish the seats were upgraded to recline or be more comfortable. Sound and screen quality was great. For sure will be coming back

Scott Barnum: Went there to watch a movie with my grandson. Enjoyed the movie and the seating was comfortable and theatre was clean.

,,: The drinks are priced at a normal bar rate which is nice and the separate 21+ mezzanine seating is great. We ordered the poutine delivered to our seat and it was actually bangers. Crispy fries loads of curds and beef tips. Well worth the price which wasn't when that bad. If you want to have a good time and save a buck go on Tuesdays from 3-6 pm. Discount movie tickets for Tuesday 5.50 and discount drinks and apps for happy hour.

amin brady: Justin, Trey, and Mckayla are awesome. The best drinks I've ever had and the food was delicious. Highly recommend!!

AMC Rosedale 14: what do users think?

Linda Henry: Nice and clean. Easy directions to get there.

Shon Blue: I recommend this theater on a Friday night and cool for day time screening.

J L: The online ticket process was easy. A pop was $7.49!!! The theater was clean and easy to find. There was a guy who kept yelling swear words and people were coming and going a lot, kind of taking away from the film experience. The movie was really great and I can't complain about the auditorium, just the audience lol. Would return, wish I could have had a glass of wine instead of a mister pibb.

Kamryn Grimes: A nice, quiet and clean theater.

Consumer In The USA: I love seeing blockbusters like Avatar 2 on AMC's Imax screens. I am glad that AMC upgraded it's air filter systems to fight the spread of disease in public places. My hope is that they maintain high level air filter systems for the decades to come. Download the AMC mobile app for discounts, easy ticket reading for preorders which speeds up the experience at the theater. I order my tickets ahead of time on my computer, and the. open my app in the lobby to check in to theatre. I do think the mobile app needs to be a bit more responsive , cause sometimes it's a bit slow to fully launch. I think the pizza needs a bit of an upgrade for what you pay. Like a deep dish option, or just bigger for what you're paying for. Something similar to Little Caesars or sam's club microwavable pizza. The pizza was just underwhelming for the price, and I possibly would have spent more on pizza if it was really good but it's so so for anyone who is honest about it.

Justmari Beard-Goss: Always my favorite date night watched Don’t Tell Mom the Babysitter’s Dead a bag of popcorn with butter, chocolate covered raisins and a bottle of water!

Bradley Worcester: It was my 1st time back at the theater since the covid lockdown. This location does not have the recliners in all of its theaters compared to other locations, but hopefully it's a work in progress.

Aaron Midthun: We travel from Wisconsin to watch big ticket movies at the IMax. Always a fun experience!

Josh Steel: Ape no hurt Ape

Craig Alciati: Great small intimate theater.

Christine Cartwright: This was a beautiful little theater. The art work was great outside in the halls waiting to get in. I honestly don't know what events this theater is used for. We were there for a school dance presentation. It wasn't super easy to find and the only sign I saw was the one on the window. Easy to miss.

Peter Heeringa: A lovely home for new works of theater and dance in the twin cities. The venue is closes as of October 2018 due to local development. The theater company anticipates moving to a new venue in the near future, details pending.
