Lynn Martin: We went early, around 7pm, on a Friday for a cocktail. Loved the atmosphere, the view and attentive, friendly service. The drinks were beautiful and tasted fantastic. It was a great place to sit and chat. I can understand how going early is key to finding a place to sit and enjoy the view. Seating is limited. We did not eat there so I can't comment on the food.

Terry Young: Iconic. 3:30 on a Thursday afternoon. A few regulars holding down the fort. Bartender says she has no cook but could make us a Heggie's frozen pizza or "fry some stuff." Went with the pizza. It was everything I ever wanted in a pizza. I went because of the rumoured connection to the song, "Here Comes a Regular" by The Replacements. Or The Placemats as admirers often refer to them. Talked with the pool players. They said on weekends the 21-24 year-olds pack the place. But on this crisp spring afternoon, it was just us regulars.
asdf asdsf: Not a nice person. Still giving the bar a 4 because people here are awesome, but this worker is really nasty passive aggressive, the whole "minnesota nice".
Trevyn Paige: CC Club is an institution, so it feels strange even trying to review it. Regardless, I’ll say for those who don’t know that CC is that neighborhood jawn. It’s the spot where you will eventually know everyone, see everything, and always return to like home. It’s a cool old dive bar that does dive non-ironically. This is the real deal and always has been.

Heather Kaiser: This is one of our special occasion places! The food and ambience is always so great. If you have friends visiting from out of town, this is the place you want to take to impress them. We like the bar side, but went for a date night recently and ate on the dinner side. We had an impromptu four course meal that was curated by our server. We took out time and didn't feel rushed. Every server and staff seem to be in a good mood and polite, whether they are bringing you food, cleaning your table, or passing you on your way out. I definitely recommend going about an hour before sunset. PS the setting in the former monk's quarters is beautiful.
Joan L: was in front of our order, so she offered us a side dish to accompany our main meals and we added the sweet potatoes.🐓 The main entrées were well done — chicken was beautifully carved and presented. The skin was tasty. The black rice and sauce were nice compliments to the meat.🐖 The pork chop was a beautiful, thick cut of meat. We ordered it medium and it may have been ever so slightly cooked a little under medium. Seasoning was perfect and had a nice, tart flavor coming through with the sauerkraut.🍠 🌟 WOW! 🤩 The sweet potatoes were the star of the evening! Sweet, savory, bright and fresh with lemon, crispy skins… just wow! Order the sweet potatoes!!🍰 For dessert, we ordered the chocolate panna cotta and olive oil cake. Both were absolutely stunning and would fit right in at any patisserie! Excellent flavors, textures, and presentation! Faultless!I’ll definitely be coming back!

Ali Peterson: My group of friends and I had a fantastic time. We came here for our monthly "cheese club" gathering and they greeted us as we walked in the door, it was very sweet. The staff was incredibly lovely, made excellent drink suggestions, and even told us the owner brought in special cheese for us for that night. There was live music and it was overall a great experience, we will definitely be back!

The tots, with special dip were pretty good, the sliders were tasty, and had flavour.If you came here in the summer, you had a wait for anything, which is just had to be accepted, the wait staff were always doing the best they could, and there were a lot of tables.Outside in the summer & fall was where it was at, even if you didn't get too much of a view of the river. The atmosphere was what it was all about.Sad to see this go, among unique, quirky, and fun places to go.

Prim Ilagan: Psycho suzi is an okay Tiki Bar, by default since it’s one of the limited Tiki Bars in MN. It has a large nice patio along the river for warm nights. Inside the decor is 70s tiki with bamboo and palm top to bottom. The carpet is neat- printed wood planks. There’s a sizable drink menu but is not served in Tiki Mugs unless you decide to purchase the mug. We had pizza, it was okay- nothing special. Drinks are below average. Ambiance is fun but not much else going on there.

Shaun Cooper: Great restaurant/brewery in the North Loop neighborhood of Minneapolis. Parking can be a little difficult to come by, but usually you can find a meter on Washington Ave. Food is fast and delicious, as well as the beer and cocktails. We like the breakfast options and usually have a hard time deciding since there are so many good choices. It was busy on the Sunday morning that we were there so the wait staff took a little longer than was expected.Vegetarian options: Lots of optionsKid-friendliness: Definitely a place you can bring the kids to.

Decided to give moto-i a shot, and they did not disappoint!First off, it has to be said - the atmosphere is incredible. The place is clean, cool, and stylistic. It’s dimly lit, and they aren’t afraid to show off their love of Sumo. This love isn’t superficial - they often have matches on several of the many TVs around the space, and they even run a fantasy Sumo league. This is just a killer place to hang out, even without their food.The food is where they really shine though. I’m from Kansas, and we love our BBQ - when I say this is the best pork I’ve had in the Twin Cities, I’m not joking. The ramen as a whole is great, though definitely more modern than authentic in style. The same pork from the ramen is used in their outstanding pork buns, which is great. The menu is more focused than a typical ramen restaurant, but everything is delicious.Overall I would definitely recommend moto-i for some killer pork, modern ramen, and a cool place to hang out.

A cross between a semi sweet white wine and peach schnapps but with no peach, it'll make sense when you try it. It was the first one on top of their sake menu. For apps, we ordered the Rangoons, which, although they have no Crab, were deliciously filled and the pork belly pieces, which were juicy and crispy. We also had the pork belly and crispy chicken steamed buns. Each sauce complements the protein very well. Again, they were delicious. All 4 of us had the classic ramen. It was quite tasty and served very hot. We really enjoyed this place, and although we will return 10/10 for the great food, the experience wouldn't have been the same if it weren't for our server Tyler! From greeting and welcoming us to explaining the menu and giving us some suggestions, to refilling my drink multiple times just before it ended Tyler is the type of server and person that genuinely likes what he does, and does it very ,very well, that, definitely tied the whole experience while elevating it. Karla Trammel: I spent the evening celebrating my birthday here and had a wonderful time! Ron and John, the bartenders for the evening were spot on. My friend and I were introduced to a new Rum and I am so hooked. Needless to say, it was a great way to end my birthday! If you're worried about it being cold, the heat lamps they have will keep you plenty warm. They do have a DJ the does the job well. When you start at the AC hotel by Marriott stop up on the 6th floor.
Emanuel Sas: Very relaxed atmosphere. Servers and bartenders were all really nice. It’s smaller than we expected. The music was at a good level and not distracting so we could still talk comfortably. I had the Rooftop Rendezvous and my wife had The Bees’ Knees. We both really liked our drinks. I then tried the Mezcal Mule. The mezcal they used was very Smokey and overpowered the whole drink. I think I would have liked the mezcal on its own but as the mixed drink, I wasn’t a fan. We didn’t have the food but the pizzas looked delicious. Will go back for sure.

James Alan: Was there for the Grand Opening. Really nice, cozy, comfortable seating, & good atmosphere. Drinks were nicely prepared to order, & served in clean, smudge free glasses. The tacos were good. I know because of with any opening some things as far as food orders, products, & availability may be off. I feel that there could of been some ground beef, shredded cheese for the tacos. Also some other alternative options for people who do not consume alcohol. Overall very nice 👍.Dietary restrictions: Just other alternatives for adult beverages, besides alcohol, or NA Beer. Maybe some THC Seltzers as an option, instead of alcohol.
