Alex Trembley: I’m not sure what to say about TWB that hasn’t been said in the hundreds of positive reviews before me. If you purchase a cake here, prepare to be blown away by the love and detail added to it. The staff is incredible and they will 100% work with you to support your budget and still produce something amazing. This is a small business worth supporting even in difficult financial times.Parking: Street parking is available and it’s usually pretty chillKid-friendliness: The cakes they produce are meant for everyone, including kids!
Leslie Lorentzen: Thirsty Whale was who we went with for our wedding cake. The tasting box was phenomenal. Only wish is that we could have met with someone about the design of our cake - we did send them photos for inspiration and it turned out really well! We only had a bite of the cake ourselves as we were busy running around, but I heard from others that the flavor and texture were great! A good experience and we loved working with Thirsty Whale!

Andrew Voight: Probably the best donuts that we have had in the twin cities, hands down. My wife and I were looking for a new shop to try that we’d never been to before, and we saw this place had some pretty good reviews, and they are 100% deserved. The gentleman behind the counter that helped us was genuinely excited to have us in their shop, and about their products. He walked us through every donut they had, and gave us his recommendations. There was also a donut that they were “testing out” that had a pineapple filling that was extraordinary. It was topped with a mango icing and white chocolate flakes. Keep working on that, because that pineapple filling needs to be featured in a donut for sure. I’ll be back on a monthly cadence for the maple bacon donut, because the filling inside of that thing just might possibly be the key to world peace. Great bakery.
Nope Nadda: I had heard about these guys for months at least 6 months. So then I finally was going to swing by and they were closed permanently!! And I don't know how I found out that someone saved the day but as soon as I could I went in there to try them out finally... Turns out I AM a donut guy. I was just waiting for someone to make a key lime pie donut and they did it so diabetes here I come!

Susan Du: Cocoa and Fig created the dessert bar for our wedding. From ordering their sample box to coordinating delivery on the day of the event, working with owner Joe Lin was a breeze. It was important to us that in lieu of a wedding cake, our guests could have their pick of different treats that were elegant, naturally flavored, and not saccharine in the way that cheaper desserts can be. Cocoa and Fig was everything we hoped for. The friends and family were very happy.
Natalie Ives: We hired Cocoa and Fig for our wedding - we wanted to created a dessert table with a variety of desserts. They fit our vision perfectly - our dessert table was not only beautiful but delicious! Joe was great to work with and helped us create the perfect menu of dessert options. We are thrilled with our experience.
Monica Mack: We had a more casual wedding reception party and wanted a mini dessert spread so that guests could grab a treat as they wanted vs. waiting for a cake to be cut and served. We chose Cocoa & Fig and could not have been happier! The dessert sample box was a fun way to try out their different offerings and, when the day came, our guests raved about all the different options. Favorites were the mini key lime pie and butterscotch shooters! We ended up adding a small 6" cake to round out the dessert display and saved that to enjoy after the event. It was as delicious as everything else! Best buttercream we have ever had.

After a few last minute changes and a wedding postponement, Cocoa and Fig made all of our wedding cake dreams come true! Jake Mathieu: We hired Cocoa & Fig to cater desserts at our wedding. We had a series of mini desserts and a small cake. The desserts were delivered and set up by Cocoa & Fig staff in a beautiful spread. The cake design perfectly matched the photo we sent in and the strawberry champagne flavor was one of the best tasting cakes we ever had. The mini desserts were a huge hit at the wedding. We ordered the recommended amount based on the amount of people we had at the wedding and the entire table was cleared out by the end of the night which shows how much people enjoyed them. They were very easy to work with and accommodating when our wedding had to be rescheduled during Covid. We would highly recommend!

My wife and I wanted cupcakes for our wedding and tried 6 different vendors prior to going with Cocoa & Fig. We decided to go with Cocoa and Fig due to high quality cupcakes, amazing classic and unique flavor profiles, and supporting a local business. Joe, the owner, brought us in for a personal tasting where we were able to sample and learn more about the process of making and transporting these wonderful cupcakes. We were sold and had a hard time deciding on which flavors to choose! Also, we had to make a last second change to the delivery location of the cupcakes. Joe got back to us promptly the day of the wedding to make sure the cupcakes made it to the right place. We highly recommend Cocoa and Fig as your dessert vendor for a wedding or get together big or small.
Sukanya Narayanan: In a very short notice of 48 hours, Cocoa and fig gave me a custom cake which no other bakeries did. They quickly understood my requirement, gave their suggestions and within hours they started working on the cake. I went with their sinfully chocolate and it's a must try cake for cake lovers. It was in perfect sweetness and the guests at our party kept asking for more and some had the cake packed and took it home.Theypacked it neatly and the delivery was on time. I would definitely recommend this shop for my friends for any of their special occasions. They have very good clarity of thought and they exactly understand what the customer wants. Overall a very satisfying purchase.

They are not with sugary frostings or artificial flavors but home whipped cream frostings and real fresh fruit folded into layer cakes. The cannoli's are filled with slightly tart and sweet filling dipped in chocolate. My favorite is the Millefoglie, a flaky puff pastry layered with a rich whipped cream that is indescribable! Only one criticism..the honeycomb cake is not baked pandan flavored type. Instead it was steamed and pale white with no fragrance. I would love to get the type it is featured on the website. Francesca P.: Delicious! Tried the Coconut Roll, Cream Cone, Buttercream layer cake, and the BBQ Tofu Bun. The texture of the cake was superb. Spongy yet dense. The cream was divine. The tofu bun was slightly sweet, soft and warm— easily could be a fast small lunch. And that coconut bun! Magical be d of buttery savory roll with sweet delectable coconut bubbles. The cream roll was not my fave: light crispy pastry exterior and light airy cream. Just did it fund the amazing texture and nuanced flavor wow of the other items. Service was friendly. Decor was elegant and oh so pretty. The complimentary infused water was a wonderful touch, and helped cleanse the palette before tasting a different treat. Highly recommend!!!

Brigitte Seim: We have gotten birthday cakes for our daughters' birthdays from Queen of Cakes for the last few years, and they never fail to amaze us! Our older daughter often has quite specific requirements, and they invariably manage to accommodate her. She was thrilled with this year's cake: a "purple and gold fairy" theme! And the cake itself is DELICIOUS - we always get a ton of compliments!

Extremely happy with the presentation of the cake but also loved flavor of the cake too. We were able to customize each layer of cake and filling so we got to try a little bit of everything. Would definitely recommend Queen of cakes for your wedding celebration.
Sandy Olson: My daughter and son in law were so excited about their themed wedding cake. Each layer was a different flavor and depicted different aspects of their adventures together. I was so excited that all of this could be done without fondant and it turned out AMAZING! They even supplied a rotating pedestal so that everyone could enjoy the details from all directions. I am just sad that I couldn't upload the video!

Everything was in excellent condition and they do give suggestions for your cake.
