Eggy's Diner - Minneapolis: what do users think?

Melanated rich Convo: breakfast, lunch or what ever your mood is, this spot has I a little bit of that. Ample portions of food[$], some healthier options a full bar and unique burgers... I recommend trying the "black bean burger" or the "Colorado omelette"Great natural lighting as well as a more of a traditional diner dim setting for evening and night time sitting, walls filled with inspiration. the decoré is very nice

Adam Gustofson: Thank you Elizabeth C, service was excellent this morning! And the staff in the kitchen had everything spot on.This is a diamond in the rough near the Minneapolis Convention Center!

Jeff I: Highly recommend!! This was an excellent experience.I think we times our visit just right as we are seated immediately. The place was packed with every table occupied, but the staff was keeping up.We ordered the meat lover's crepes and New York French Toast. The French toast came piled with fresh blueberries and creamy marscapone cheese. The meat lover's crepes are topped with a honey hollandaise sauce that is other-worldly and MUST be tried. The portions are generous and the coffee is fresh and if you're needing creamer for the coffee it will be delivered with your coffee in a small pitcher. We would definitely visit again as there are so many different dishes to try!Parking: It's likely that you'll need to walk from your parking location.Wheelchair accessibility: It is accessible, but the doors are not automated and maneuvering once inside will take some patience as it is a very small dining area. Though, I feel like the staff would make it work if they are able to.

Rick Duran: Eggy’s will not disappoint, food is full of flavor. We ordered Eggy’s Benedict and it was amazing, and their house potatoes were delicious. Our second plate was the Chilaquiles. And let me say that these Chilaquiles are in my top 3. Our waitress was nice and professional, she assisted us since it was our first time. Took the time to explain the menu and her recommendation. I can’t remember her name but I will say she is a humble and wonderful person. Thank you for the great experience

Erin Kellogg: Such a cute atmosphere, wonderful food! The whole experience of waiting in line was really fun and everyone was so patient!Kid-friendliness: There aren't high chairs or a kids menu but there were kids around and they seemed to enjoy themselves!Wheelchair accessibility: This isn't accessible at all - you have to stand in a single file line before sitting and then sit in backless stools

Nada Mohamed: Chocolate chip pancakes

Hen House Eatery: what do users think?

rachel notter: that was to die for. It is clear the restaurant has a focus on fresh, quality food. Now that I am not in Minneapolis I literally dream about this place. 10/10 Hen House

Hiten Patel: Very good veggie options.Vegetarian options: Burgers, soups and other vegan optionsDietary restrictions: Has vegan options on menu

Alexis Laubenthal: We got to Hen House about 8 o’clock on a Saturday morning. We were seated right away at the bar. The waiter was phenomenal. We got our coffees quick and he recommended both the roll and eggs benedict that we ended up choosing! The role was phenomenal, definitely could be a full meal for someone, but we ended up sharing this and pictured is a half order of the eggs benedict; definitely plenty of food. The eggs Benedict came with hashbrowns that were done perfectly. The eggs benedict was great even had a little kick to it. Overall, fantastic experience we will definitely be back!

Hot Plate: what do users think?

Susie Haywood: We love coming here for the amazing food and the great servers. I love the pancakes. Only complaint is that we were uncomfortable due to it being hot and stuffy on warm days. Not sure if they have air conditioning.

Chris Sutter: The best part about this place was the pecan roll. I ordered the breakfast poutine & was happy with crispy potatoes, eggs, cheese, bacon & sausage but I wasn’t sold on the gravy. She ordered the biscuits & gravy. We both agreed the gravy could have used some more flavor but the biscuits were good so I would recommend trying this place.

French Meadow Cafe & Bluestem Bar: what do users think?

Noel Stroner: This brunch spot is adorable and has excellent food and drinks. The service wasn’t great - no one explained to us the self serve area vs full service area when we walked in, just stared at us. Another group walked in behind us and the staff then proceeded to explain everything quite kindly to them. The staff member that took our order at the counter acted quite annoyed and barely spoke to us.

Kellie Hoffman: .The atmosphere was really cool!

A Google User: The cinnamon buns are out of the world Jamison the bartender hook me up I love this place I just hate because they only have it on the weekends

Lisa Carmichael: I hope you reopen. Such a great spot to meet for breakfast. Enjoyed the service and the food. Also enjoyed eating indoors and outdoors.Parking: Small parking lot, but there's street parking

Gaby Witt: Food and service was great. Especially the huevos racheros! I get an iced chai everywhere I go and this one was 5 stars. When they warn you about the bee problem, take it seriously. They have lots of plants around the patio that attract pollinators. Obviously there will be pollinators. Stop complaining about the bees you were warned about when you walked in the door. Gee whiz.

Jalen Bell: So when I walked past this place, my first thought was Gordon Ramsey’s famous tv show. Turns out they’re a local business, no affiliation. The burger was absolutely fantastic! Well seasoned, temperature just right, and it had bacon and tangy sauce that was similar to 1000 island. Bonus: They branded the bun with the logo which I thought was cool. Ordered cheesecake for dessert. A bit pricy but well worth the quality of food. I’d def eat here again when I’m in town.

Gina M: Mariann was the BEST!! This was our 1st time here and she was so nice and patient.Be careful when you bite into the inferno burger!! The cheese went everywhere 😭 Good burger though.Warm Greens Grain bowl with Mojo pork added. Walleye bites for an appetizer and a peanut butter cup, ice cream and a complimentary brownie from the staff. They even have a photo booth. We had a great time here.

Nancy Anderson: Great experience. The mimosa bar and the bloody mary bar was really fun and very good. The food was amazingParking: Ramp was easy to access the elevator right to Hell's Kitchen

Stephanie Hodges: We held our sellers dinner here for approx 35 people for a private event, using the far side pub. Not only was the atmosphere amazing the food and the staff and the ease of booking and follow up was amazing. I received so many thank yous and this was amazing and the perfect set up, food and drinks and Vanessa and her team were perfect! Need a place for your company/team outing? This was it!

SHARESHA GREEN: Atmosphere: 5/5

Natalie Peterson: Had the fish & chips and my friend got the ham & pear crisp sandwich, we both had garlic Parmesan fries and shared the brownie dessert. SO. GOOD.Dietary restrictions: Offers gluten-free options on the menu!

George Waggoner: Poutine with bison was excellent.

Berry Sweet Kitchen: what do users think?

Shea Coghlan-Peppard: but a good healthy portion! All of the food that came out looked absolutely divine! And they are super quick !!!Oh and take home a tart if you are there after Tuesday 11 am. Scrumptious!Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp is available at front door. All one level.

Mai D. Moua: I went on a Sunday for brunch with a friend. The food is very yummy. I got the berry waffle and although there was only one waffle, it was huge. I love the berry to whip cream ratio. I also like the fact that they have you order at the counter and then they bring the food to you which makes the process easier and more efficient. I would recommend it if you’re in the area.Parking: Plenty of lot and street parking.

niC K: Quick and affordable spot for a late breakfast. Went in for brunch on Sunday with three people and was in and out in about 30 minutes. Food was very reasonably priced and came out extremely quickly and was fresh and hot. Even the bacon on the Bloody Mary was still warm. You grab a menu and order at the front counter and seat yourself. Once your food is ready, they deliver is to your table. The gentleman who brought the food to our table was extremely friendly, upbeat and helpful and should be promoted to the front desk. He was much more customer service oriented than the lady working when we went who seemed bothered at us even walking in the door or when we were ordering.

Salika Pao: Nice little diner. Would come back here again.Order front the counter and they give you a number to put on your table. Food came out pretty quickly.Mimosa were on point.

Jeffory Schiebel: We had the raw oysters there tonight they were some of the best we've ever had our server was amazing we will be back for sureParking: Lots of parking on the street they have a lot that has spaces also

Corwin Morton: Everything was fine it was a little noisy because there seem to be a girls afternoon out meeting wedding proposal thing going on but it was noisy but it was niceWheelchair accessibility: Got it

Janelle Sorenson: Know the restaurants that play overly loud music, so you can't talk while at a table? Thankfully, this is NOT one of them. We have been here quite a few times, and the food, service, and atmosphere are always top-notch. The first time, we didn't realize the happy hour menu was only for the bar and patio ... it would be nice if it was restaurant-wide. Otherwise, the food is incredible. Having a vegetarian in the family, there are quite a few options available at this place! Parking is a breeze at this location, too! We will be back!

Eggs perfectly poached. Delicious meal. My daughter had the breakfast burrito with no meat. Also fantastic. Megan gives fantastic service. We’ll be backOld review 2 years ago: Must provide name and phone number to be seated. Host and server were both very friendly and helpful. Food was delivered quickly. Ed Folstrom: Recommended dishes Sausage

Govinda Yost: I arrived at 2pm on a Tuesday. No line, plenty of seats at the bar. The people here know what they are doing! The service and the food was as on point as any time of day. I had the kitchen special: two eggs, hash browns, sausage, coffee, and I had a pancake. The coffee was surprisingly really good. The pancake was incredible—fluffy, fresh, large enough to fill me up alone. The picture of the pancake makes it look smaller than it is. The sausage, eggs and hash browns were cooked to perfection. They have an assortment of hot sauces. Highly recommend.

Claire Leo: and surprisingly the tuna salad sandwich.

Jeff Krueger: always manages to get you in and does it with a smile. Then Troy makes you feel like your his favorite person in the bar. Jarrick meanwhile, is cranking out drinks at the service bar like a machine while carrying on casual conversations all over the bar making it look like nothing. All this and yet you still never have to wait for your next one. Fantastic.

Kylie Pecarina: Food: 5/5Recommended dishes Breakfast Fried Rice

Shelly Dall: The food was great. Always a fun very energizing atmosphere. A great place to go before a Twins game. Service was not great, short staffed and I think our server was hung over.Parking: You’re in a very busy part of Minneapolis. Parking sucks in the north loop

Luis Calvo: Awesome food and really quality service. Had a team dinner here and we all enjoyed our food!

Natane Russell: Great food, ambient lighting and overall pretty decent food spot in north loop. Bar seating, boothes, tables n chairs and some chill couch seating as well. Crowd was extra gentrified, young and "basic" though and it was weird, but it could have just been that night. Staff were kind and thorough all around, from the hostess and bartenders to the servers. Heard the breakfast fried rice is amazing, but we went for dinner. Ricotta gnocchi was great and the drinks were good too. Street parking was available really close by and it was a Friday evening. Recommend.

Will DeGraw: THIS HAS BECOME A MINNEAPOLIS STAPLE FOR TOO MANY REASONSI've had difficulty figuring out where to begin this review. I reckon it's likely best to begin as most of us do, with breakfast. I have not ever had a breakfast item off the menu that didn't leave me splendidly satisfied. That said, I've never had a pizza nor chicken sandwich that I didn't love either. One of the biggest reasons why I will keep walking into this restaurant is the customer service. The food could be half as good, and I'd still come just because the staff is hospitable. A secondary reason is that their menu changes throughout the year. I love to see what the leadership and kitchen keep conjuring up!

Jeff Nordeen: Despite it being Saturday night, the staff found us a table for 4. Annaliese was our server and she was outstanding. Gave great recommendations, was attentive when needed and always had a smile on her face.We would go back next time we are in town.

John Swee: Such a cool spot in the north loop. I met a friend for breakfast and was really pleased. I got the American Breakfast with scrambled eggs, turkey sausage links and potatoes. The eggs were perfectly prepared, soft and warm and not over cooked. The potatoes were crispy and just the right size cut. My friend got the breakfast sandwich and I did have a little bit of food envy. Much larger portion of potatoes and in general more food than was on my plate. I walked away full but still a little peckish.

Keys At The Foshay: what do users think?

Jeremy Gesicki: and Two Eggs Scrambled with Hashbrowns and a Side of Bacon. Both were served with amazing toast and homemade strawberry jam. Absolutely delicious and zero left on the plate of either daughter.I had the Eggs Benedict, and it was equally delicious. This is going to become a must-stop any time we are in the area for a hockey tournament. The service was fantastic - polite and attentive without hovering our table. Our ice waters were always full and my coffee was always warm.We arrived around 10am

Barbara Bakal: Went for Easter brunch with friends. We were seated immediately upon arrival and our waiter greeted us right away. The menu is extensive with delicious looking choices. While everyone else went with breakfast items I chose a turkey sandwich on wild rice bread with cranberry Mayo. It was so delicious I think I actually moaned! The turkey was freshly sliced from a real turkey and there was a lot of it. It also came with sweet potato fries that were both crispy and soft. I can't wait to return, I just don't know how I will ever be able to order anything besides this meal.

FireLake Grill House and Cocktail Bar: what do users think?

Ryan O'Halloran: Incredible food and super friendly staff. Everyone was checking on my table even if they weren't my usual waiter. The food was incredible and very rich. I had the Marrow Toast which was absolutely awesome and the Duck Confit Stroganoff which was a touch salty but the flavors were incredible otherwise. The drink selections were vast and interesting and overall it was a great experience. I would say the one minor complaint I had is that with so many rich dishes on the menu I wish there was a side salad option.

Cathy A.: Stopped in for lunch after arriving from NYC and what a welcome! The decor is beautiful. We sat in a private area and it felt like a private brunch party. The food was great and the service was even better. Our sever, Nicki, was incredibly helpful and friendly. The Manager, Willie, was beyond hospitable and attentive. He checked in on us throughout our stay to make sure everything was perfect. The cornbread was great and the coffee was better than the big name brands. Will definitely be stopping in again during our stay!

Mandie Langman: We ate here before seeing The Lion King at the Orpheum. It's a nice walking distance from the theater and a nice atmosphere for a dressed up, special night out.Service: Outstanding. Our server, Mario, was spectacular. Attentive and personable. He was also kind enough to give us happy hour prices even though we technically weren't sitting on the happy hour side of the curtain. That meant a lot to us as we didn't see anything on line stating these prices only applied to certain tables and was a factor in our choosing this eatery.Food: Delicious. I appreciated the many gluten free options. I had cornbread and the stuffed mushrooms. The cornbread was amazing! I shared it with my husband but could have easily eaten it all myself. The mushrooms were a bit heavy on the garlic. I would have preferred that flavor to have been a bit more subtle. My husband had the bison burger and enjoyed it. It's spicy but as he described, "a nice level of heat." We had the vanilla bean creme brulee, and it was a wonderfully smooth, flavorful custard.Drinks: Good. I had a glass of Chateau St Michelle Riesling, a wine I choose often so I knew I'd like it. My husband had the Old Fashioned, which was made with Maker's Mark and just isn't his favorite alcohol, but that's not really the restaurant's fault as he did choose to order it.Overall, this is a place we'd visit again the next time we're in the theater district!

Keitha McKinney: This was one of the best experiences I’ve had. We were there for my cousins birthday dinner our serve Nick was great he didn’t miss a beat very professional, friendly and funny. The manager Willie came over to see how it was going. & introduced hisself to see whose birthday it was, he made sure we got a birthday dessert. Informed us about the weekend breakfast for our birthday as well. The food was great, you could cut the steak with a butter knife. The overall experience was great I would definitely recommend this hidden gem. Once again I would like to say thank you to Nick & Willie

Edward Todd: The service was great. Food was good. The restaurant was active and loud, which is great for a lot of occasions, but would have preferred a quieter setting for a family dinner. But, my first priority was location with good food and service a second consideration. All in all, it was very nice.Parking: A Parking ramp was close and convenient. I think it was $7 for the evening.

Milda's Cafe: what do users think?

Selena S: Excellent food as always. I've been going to Milda's since childhood, and at the ripe old age of 42 I was pleased to see Milda's added to Grubhub. I'm less than a mile so the food arrives piping hot and have yet to get any bad food. We will continue to order and look forward to trying the pasty. Brings back fond family memories of going to Milda's early in the morning right before mass with my grandma. Nice to see an original Northside business still operating and serving our community.

Charles George: Food was good and hot. Biscuits and gravy were basic, but the grits were on point. Definitely a good spot to stop and grab a hot breakfast

Sarah Huntley: My mom and I like to go to Milda’s for a bit of nostalgia. As Finnish Northsiders this is as close as it gets. My mom was Confirmed at the Finnish Church a block away and her first time to Milda’s was in 1966.Staff is Excellent! The food was large portions and delicious. We split a warmed up warmedUp Cinnamon Roll and as Finn’s we know good bread and the rolls are delicious. This place is so family friendly and just has a great neighborhood vibe.

Blacc Ceaza: Food is pretty good pancakes nice and fluffy with the right amount of vanilla and not the cheap stuff toast was a little bit burnt for some but just right for me the Philly hash browns are what I came for generous amount of steak grilled perfect and the cheese is on point however I like my hash brown crispy but maybe I should have specified that to the cook it was hard to eat it all but I made a way will try the cinnamon rolls next time I come back
