Ryan Larson: I have enjoyed working at Minnehaha for the past 7 years. The community found here is second to none. We care deeply about one another and all of our students and make sure that everyone has the support that they need. I'm always amazed at all that we have to offer for such a small school. Students here experience a wide variety of options in courses, athletics and fine arts and all of our programs pursue high standards of excellence.
Julia Stewart: A member of the Class of 2006, I still think back on the tremendous influence of Minnehaha on my life. Though MA is an academically rigorous college prep school, teachers see students beyond their academic ability. They are equally devoted to helping students grow as whole people as they model critical thinking, compassion and humility. 15 years after graduating, many of my former teachers are still working at Minnehaha. In a field with so much burnout, it's worth noting that teachers at MA stay for the long haul. This speaks to their passion, their devotion to students and to the MA community at-large. When I went to college, I was able to test out of a handful or required college courses due to the various AP options available to me at MA. I've always been thankful for that. Academics aside, the best part about Minnehaha is that it is a community that helped bring my faith to life. It is a place that fosters a love of asking questions rather than resorting to easy answers.

Brig O'Connor: Our accessibility can be tricky. We are not allowed to park in the lot, as this is attached to the YWCA Midtown facility. But my grandson's soccer organization, JOTP, plays there in league events. Like that a whole lot!!! And food and snacks are available on site. Just a lot of fun and great games!!!!

Chris Hughes: Both of our children attend MA lower school. We are very pleased with every aspect of the school. From the curriculum to all the facilities. The class sizes are small and it seems that everyone knows every students name no matter what the grade. There is a real sense of community which further nourishes our children's social development. The equipment and materials are all state of the art and the students have access to the latest technologies. The communication from the staff to the parents is excellent. Such an amazing school!

Jenny Severson: BSM is a rare place where people are seen and heard. Thr teachers always respond and I’ve met with numerous coaches and staff who are exemplary.My 9th grader was at an outstanding public school district which by all standards was excellent but she didn’t feel like it was the right place for her.She started asking about BSM in 6th and 7th grade and it was Covid. My only regret is not acting sooner. BSM would have put her even farther ahead but still she’s thriving.I’m proud that my daughter is thriving at BSM. I’m proud of her for trying a new sport and working hard at school. She’s always loved basketball and is praying with the states best of the best not only in Minnesota but across the nation.

She started in 7th grade and is now a junior, highly involved in multiple activities, doing very well academically, and getting great intern experiences and college counseling.
Joann Meyer: Our third child is a sophomore at BSM and this is the 9th year for our family. We appreciate how well administration communicates with parents. The emails are well-thought out and have the facts needed to understand any given situation and what BSM is doing to resolve it. Our student has several favorite teachers, has friends that have good study habits and make a positive impact on her, and she loves to be in the building both before and after school. We are happy BSM parents.

Daniel McMenamy: I went to this school until 10th grade. It is by far one of the best schools you can send your students to. The students DO have a voice, the school has a dress code but no uniform, which gives people the freedom to be who they want to be, but still not distract the other kids learning ability. The food was my favorite thing, its not cheap low quality food. The teacher are all friendly and helpful. They come to school early to help the kids, and they stay late to help the kids as well. The school is like a second home for some students, it was for me, and I'm sure it will be for others as well.
