Prohibition Bar: what do users think?

Lynn Martin: We went early, around 7pm, on a Friday for a cocktail. Loved the atmosphere, the view and attentive, friendly service. The drinks were beautiful and tasted fantastic. It was a great place to sit and chat. I can understand how going early is key to finding a place to sit and enjoy the view. Seating is limited. We did not eat there so I can't comment on the food.

The Local - Minneapolis: what do users think?

Noah Jorstad: This is such a beautiful building, we were so interested in all the fine woodwork and details. We couldn't believe the building wasn't a bank or hotel or something years ago. However, I was a bit let down by the food. The pretzel was good although I'm sure not made in house, and the very spicy mustard just tasted very horseradishy. My Flatbread had good flavor, but I'm sure the Flatbreads aren't made fresh either, it was floppy and chewy.

Stefanie Alarcon: So this review is over a 3 day visit time span. My friend and I were visiting Minneapolis and we stayed downtown. We decided to go here our first night and fell in love. The inside of the local feels like an old pub in Ireland. We kept coming back because the food was delicious, they had non-alcoholic Guinness, and the service was excellent. We only ate there twice but went back for a non-alcoholic Guinness one of the days just to hang out. We tried the cheese curds, the Shepherd’s pies and the Corned Beef Flatbread over 2 visits and all of it was delicious. If you’re staying in downtown Minneapolis give this place a try, you won’t be disappointed.

Psycho Suzi's Motor Lounge: what do users think?

Jay Shen: . And decorations were also in alignment with its tiki theme. The pizzas were pretty good as well! They were relatively smaller in portion but tasted good. I wouldn't consider food as a review priority for this place because it is mostly famous for its drinks and atmosphere, and both are nothing short of great!I will miss all the memories from this place as it has allowed me to socialize with others in relaxing manners on summer days.

K. Tsoutsoulis: This was a unique bar & foods tiki bar experience.A decent selection of cocktails, with mythologies for each drink, and exactly 1 NA cocktail, but it was a good one.As for food they were complimenting the drink, and not meant to be full meals. The tots, with special dip were pretty good, the sliders were tasty, and had flavour. If you came here in the summer, you had a wait for anything, which is just had to be accepted, the wait staff were always doing the best they could, and there were a lot of tables.Outside in the summer & fall was where it was at, even if you didn't get too much of a view of the river. The atmosphere was what it was all about.Sad to see this go, among unique, quirky, and fun places to go.

Dawn Hilgers: Wish they weren't selling the restaurant. But where can we buy the tiki decorations from Suzi's? When's the auction.Atmosphere: 5/5 …

Prim Ilagan: Psycho suzi is an okay Tiki Bar, by default since it’s one of the limited Tiki Bars in MN. It has a large nice patio along the river for warm nights. Inside the decor is 70s tiki with bamboo and palm top to bottom. The carpet is neat- printed wood planks. There’s a sizable drink menu but is not served in Tiki Mugs unless you decide to purchase the mug. We had pizza, it was okay- nothing special. Drinks are below average. Ambiance is fun but not much else going on there.

Brian Wene: Palmer's is a great place for live music because from anywhere in the bar you can easily see the band onstage. Drinks are not terribly expensive and the bartenders are very nice and the live music is always great! I highly suggest giving Palmer's Bar a visit. You will not be disappointed and you will be planning your return.Enjoy!Dietary restrictions: Items fitting certain dietary restrictions are available.Kid-friendliness: All ages events are common here.Wheelchair accessibility: The bar is accessible to those in a wheelchair.

Nick Hook: Palmers Bar consistently manifests that rare mix of high-end, quality ingredients, creative mixology, attentive, knowledgeable wait staff and quietly-upscale atmosphere. All these elements work together seamlessly to ensure each Palmers patron's experience is an understated, singular joy.Vegetarian options: Panko-encrusted yam brisketKid-friendliness: The ball pit was hygenic and fun!!

Bill Marshall: In a really bad area DON'T GO AT NIGHT UNLESS YOU WANT GET ROBBED WHICH IS A GOOD CHANCE IT'S A NO-GO ZONE IF YOU'RE SMART 🤓

Damon Clare: It's a vibe

Drake Friesen: Great local music spot!

d Davis: A bar like PALMERS represents what a bar/tavern should be like. All sorts of characters come and go. A teacher, a parent, students, retirees, blue collar folks, criminals, republicans, future criminals, democrats, alcoholics, recovering this or thats, white, black, brown and other. It’s about sipping a drink and talking with whom ever is on a barstool close by. Sharing stories and learning some stuff and most likely you’ll have another just to stay a little longer. A lively patio out back that gets more interesting into the night. Eclectic and diverse live music all year round. I won’t call it a dive bar and it’s not quite a club if anything people come here cause they need a little piece of love.

CC Club: what do users think?

Terry Young: Iconic. 3:30 on a Thursday afternoon. A few regulars holding down the fort. Bartender says she has no cook but could make us a Heggie's frozen pizza or "fry some stuff." Went with the pizza. It was everything I ever wanted in a pizza. I went because of the rumoured connection to the song, "Here Comes a Regular" by The Replacements. Or The Placemats as admirers often refer to them. Talked with the pool players. They said on weekends the 21-24 year-olds pack the place. But on this crisp spring afternoon, it was just us regulars.

asdf asdsf: Not a nice person. Still giving the bar a 4 because people here are awesome, but this worker is really nasty passive aggressive, the whole "minnesota nice".

Trevyn Paige: CC Club is an institution, so it feels strange even trying to review it. Regardless, I’ll say for those who don’t know that CC is that neighborhood jawn. It’s the spot where you will eventually know everyone, see everything, and always return to like home. It’s a cool old dive bar that does dive non-ironically. This is the real deal and always has been.

Todd Bavery: In town for the Big 10 Basketball tournament - stopped in for Breakfast on Saturday morning!Highly recommend the Corn Beef Hash! Also, go for the Sourdough toast - really good.Atmosphere is that of a true Dive Bar - which makes the food even better.

Robert Stacy: Cuzzy's has always been an awesome bar. In my opinion, they have substantially upgraded their food quality, though - giving you the 'dive bar' experience without any of the sacrifice. Highly recommend.Parking: You're on your own for parking.

Brett Andresini: Alissa, the bartender at Cuzzy's, deserves the highest praise! Her exceptional service and friendly demeanor created a welcoming atmosphere. Alissa's mixology skills are top-notch, and her recommendations were spot on. The experience at Cuzzy's was elevated by her professionalism and genuine enthusiasm. I highly recommend stopping by and letting Alissa craft your drink – a true maestro behind the bar!

Mitch Edison: Such an interesting vibe! Incredibly knowledgeable waiter and drinks are fantastic!

christopher miletich: This place is a blast. Great drinks. Good prices

Chris Gapinski: Great happy hour spot. Great food and drinks

Ashley Hosea: My wife and I have been here over ten times. We have loved this place since my cousin. Brought me here and I could not stop raving about. I'm sad to see it go.

Edgar A. Cabrera: Cool atmosphere

David Quinn: Best happy hour in Minneapolis

Christina Billman: Their hamburgers and pop tarts are to die for!

Paul Marino: The drinks and burgers are incredible!

Ray Seville: Pick the right night with the right dj

Kaleb Blodgett: pickles. The milky melted cheese drizzled through my taste buds making me constantly want more. The bun was basic, but didn’t impact the overall quality of the burger. The burger was a bit more greasy than most, but not overwhelming.

Anton Thomas: Super dope chill spot

James Khuong: Food, drinks, atmosphere of a haunted house, what more could you want? The menu had a good spread of food and apps, we got the cheese plate and although the cheese was good, the crackers were honestly so good we asked for another serving. They make any cocktails you want, but their Lumbersexual was a good citrusy take on the Cosmo, and definitely worth a try.A decent amount of seating for the space, and the atmosphere is super dark and moody and really gives a spooky, haunted, vampire's basement vibe.Definitely worth a visit!Oh and bathrooms were clean. 👍

Parlour: what do users think?

Shawn Miranda: I've had the burger 3 times and it has never been good, always over salted and over cooked. Their fried chicken sandwich however is very well made.Servers have been friendly and prompt every time. The ambience is great, the lights are dim, and it feels cozy. The music however is way too loud. At the bar, it registers on my Apple Watch at around 78-80dB.The cocktails are easily the highlight. I've had a few of the house cocktails and they've all been top tier. They also make the IBA classics extremely well. They're brave enough to offer to put an egg white in the whisky sour and it definitely pays off.

Abriana Allen: My friends and I visit Parlour regularly. We enjoy the vibes, the cocktails, the service, and of course THE BURGERS. Believe the hype. Simple yet delicious. The cocktails - you can of course order great drinks off the menu, but also, you can tell the bartender to surprise you! I enjoy the creativity. However, I’m writing a review for the service I received via phone yesterday. I recently purchased an online gift card for a friend and they unfortunately didn’t receive it. I called Parlour and they were incredibly kind and understanding. Within a few minutes, the manager called me back and they reissued the gift card in less than 30 minutes. I was prepared for follow-up phone calls and redirects to other contacts, but they made it quick and simple. It makes sense given the friendly service we’ve experienced when we dine-in. Thanks, Parlour team!

Alissa Elles: Parking in street or a very small parking lot with valet. Two flight of stairs down to get to restaurant basement level. Awesome mood lighting, very dim. Seating is limited. The isle from front of the restaurant to the back of the restaurant is very narrow and not comfortable to squeeze by everyone sitting at the bar. Service was okay, per seat yourself sign we did and waitresses was completely oblivious that we sat ourselves even though she walked past us three times. We got the burgers with fries and one of the most delicious burgers I've ever had. Very very spendy. Wouldn't say kid friendly or wheelchair accessible.

Vegas Lounge: what do users think?

Levi Purdum: It is impressive what they accomplish using dated karaoke technology. Honestly it contributes to the hole-in-the-wall vibe of the establishment. They have many regulars who are experienced and impressive practitioners of the art that is karaoke so even if you don't plan on singing you will get to enjoy a wide range of entertainment. If you do want to sing don't wear Dallas Cowboys or Green Bay Packer paraphernalia and plan to employ bribery.Parking: You will find a place to park within easy walking distance.Wheelchair accessibility: This building was wheelchair accessible, if perhaps not wheelchair "friendly".

Spoon and Stable: what do users think?

Robyn: One of the best restaurants Ive tried in Minneapolis! The menu might seem pretty ordinary but everything was very goodRecommended dishes Dry-Aged Duck Breast …

Jonathan Robinson: Absolutely phenomenal food and experience. Our server Louis was beyond amazing as he took the time to explain the dishes, cocktails, and so much more. Hat's off!Speaking of dishes, the bison tartare was increibly good, but we were blown away by the flavor of the duck ragu in the Torchietti. We had it made gluten-free to accommodate my wife's dietary needs, and the pasta was still delicious! We didn't stop there, adding an order of the pork chop for me and Alaskan halibut for my wife. The flavor profile on the pork chop dish was insanely big, bold, and wonderful. It was such a contrast to the halibut, which was also wonderful but much more delicate. Both were great. We were stuffed. There was no room for dessert, but since we had let it be known we were out celebrating a special event, we were not to leave without a wonderful little celebration treat. It was much appreciated! Our seating was at the Chef's Counter, and it couldn't have been more perfect. It gave us witness to all the incredible work going on in the kitchen as well as all the dishes that were getting prepped. TheDietary restrictions: My wife is gluten-free, and not only do they accommodate this with some of their dishes they go above and beyond to communicate between the waiter and kitchen about the dietary needs. This shows up starting with bread basket modifications, moves into extra tasting bites supplied to us from the head chef, and follows through to all our entrees and special desserts. Phenomenal staff coordination and cooperation.

Raquel Tabor: Recommended dishes Pot Roast

Akshaya Bhagavathula: My recent dinner at Spoon and Stable in Minneapolis was an experience that truly stood out in my culinary adventures. This beautifully restored horse stable turned restaurant offers a warm and inviting ambiance that set the tone for a remarkable evening. The menu, curated by Chef Gavin Kaysen, is a testament to his expertise and commitment to showcasing the best of Midwest ingredients with a French twist. We started with the foie gras terrine, which was rich and perfectly balanced, and it became an instant favorite at our table. For my main course, I chose the duck breast, which was tender, juicy, and cooked to perfection, accompanied by a side that complemented the duck without overshadowing it.What really made our meal unforgettable was not just the food but the service. The staff was attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable about the menu, and genuinely enthusiastic about their work. They recommended excellent wine pairings that elevated our dining experience. The dessert rounded off the evening on a high note, with creative and delightful options that were as beautiful to look at as they were to taste. The ambiance, service, and exquisite cuisine made Spoon and Stable a dining destination that I can't recommend highly enough. Whether for a special occasion or a treat-yourself night out, this restaurant promises an evening that’s both enchanting and satisfying.

Tattersall Distilling: what do users think?

Linda McLoon: It is interesting how often we forget the tried and true and rush to the new. The Tattersall distillery was forced by antiquated Minnesota liquor laws to move to Wisconsin if they wanted to increase production in their distillery. However, their tasting room in the Thorpe building in Northeast Minneapolis is still open. Instead of waiting hours at the "hot" new places, come on back to Tattersall. It was started in 2015, and has been going strong since then.We made reservations, but even on Saturday night we did not need them. We sat at the bar as usual, and the two bartenders were awesome. They were extremely knowledgeable about all the various spirits made by Tattersall, and we had little tastes of some of the new items as we ordered.I did a flight of their two new gins and their absinthe. I liked them a lot. One gin gets a two week aging in chardonnay barrels. This takes the hotness out of their original gin in a very nice way. It doesn't leave it oaky. Apparently it has won a number of awards in various competitions. The Rosso gin is new, and it is very good! Apparently they added rose petals and berries to their mix of botanicals. It is a very nice gin.We tried two cocktails. They change their cocktail menu every 3 months, so it is good to stop in and have a look. My husband had the Houndstooth, which is rye, amaro, meadowsweet, and black strap bitters. We saw a lot of them heading out to other customers. Their take on a classic gin-based negroni was really good. Their orange bitter liqueur, their amaro, and their sour cherry liqueurs gave it a cherry back note that was quite interesting. They only serve popcorn, pretzels, and beef jerky, but there was a pop up Asian restaurant in the Thorpe building if you wanted to get food. They also have a room where you can buy their spirits. Nice!At $12 and $13 for most drinks, it is also more affordable than the newer glitzy places. It was a super relaxing place for a cocktail. And I love not having to drive around in search of parking!

Ian Boje: Whatever you want to drink, Anna will make it happen. Awesome place.

Eric Schoenecker: Very impressed with the drinks, service, and staff. Some of the best bartenders I have come across. Their drinks are slightly on the pricy side. The parking lot also requires a bit of work. Overall great experience.Service: 5/5 …

Dana Cimbalnik: Great drinks!
