Rachael Tervo: Alex and the team at Minneapolis Decks far and above exceeded my expectations. Alex was patient as we had no idea how much of a ball park our project was going to cost, and once we were ready to start the project he was full steam ahead. He kept the project within scope, on time, and was not pushy to upsell us on details. As I had multiple companies quote out the project, Alex was the only one to speak to me directly without insinuating or directly asking if my husband needed to be part of our discussions, which I absolutely appreciated. He was meticulous and had a standard for his work that resonated through his project managers. Any time we had a question, thought, or concern, it was answered/corrected within 24 hours. Then Andy and Jackson came and set the posts / built the gates and they're perfect! They're exactly as I hoped and even a little better because Andy and Jackson are total craftsmen and did an excellent and thoughtful job. Before heading out, I pointed out some wobbly deck stairs to see if they can give me an estimate sometime and Andy and Jackson just fixed them right then and there! I was impressed and grateful. The price seemed totally fair for the great work. I'll hire KNO next time, too.

She sent helpful videos. My husband and I were able to replace ourselves and we are surprised at how much better they are. In the picture the left is new and the right is old. After the Derecho, I had the opportunity to meet with clients who had the Amazing EZ-Screen Porch windows and they had NO damage!!Long story short, we had been contemplating doing something different with our screen porch anyway, and the Derecho prompted us to do so.We made the decision we were going to repair our porch and upgrade with the Amazing EZ-Screen Porch windows. Long story short, it took us two years to actually connect with Austin with Amazing EZ-Screen Porch windows. Because there was still a shortage of contractors and construction people due to the multitude of Derecho damage in our community and across the state, we didn’t want to wait any longer on a contractor being available to install the windows.We ordered the windows in the fall of 2022. They arrived late November/early December, and we actually installed them ourselves! It was a bit chilly, but we wanted to get it done before I got too cold, and the snow too deep. My husband, my daughter, and me along with a general handyman installed them in just one day. I’m sure if the weather was warmer we could’ve got it done quicker. It did take us a full day though.

Nick Casper: I'm a homeowner, not a contractor and Shaw only sells to contractors. So why 5 stars? Marvin makes a storm window for older homes but doesn't really bother advertising it. I'd been to a couple places and was blown off by other dealers. I went here not knowing that they don't sell to homeowners. After the guy at the front desk told me that they couldn't sell to me he recommended a place that could, actually walked me over to a display to make sure we were talking about the same thing, and took the time to discuss the product. To be clear, I wasn't going to be able to buy from them but they gave me better customer service than the stores that would sell to me. It may not be this year or even 5 years, but when I am doing work to my home next, I'll ask my contractor to get a quote from them.

Tom Midtbo: We recently had PHI install the Sun Coast Power screens on our west facing deck at our cooperative . PHI sent a lot of time meeting with our coop residents showing us our options. Twenty some residents ordered 30 screens for various deck configurations. When the order was placed we got a delivery date which they beat but a week. They set up a schedule to install them they were on time and very professionally installed them in about two weeks. The installers were very neat and efficient making the whole process painless and enjoyable. Steve Lee: One of the main things that has helped us survive 2020 is our new screen porch and deck from PHI Decks!
