All of the reviews raved about Preston and now after working with him, I know that everything is true!First off, I have never heard of a photographer invite someone over to their home, and prepare an amazing cultural meal for potential clients. I expressed to Preston that we were planning a fusion "Indian/ Caucasian" wedding and wanted someone who knew what the important traditions of the Indian culture were, so that we didn't miss out on any of the pictures. But with Penny Photography this wasn't the case.Penny Photography offers two amazing photographers and are available for the whole day for one set price. You do not have to sacrifice getting ready photos for only the bride, or worry about them leaving too early in the night. The less things you need to worry about throughout the day the better, and if you book with them, they will be there for you throughout the day.Their style of photos focuses on more of the candid shots than formal/stuffy shots which was what we were looking for. We like the style of photos of people talking, laughing and socializing with other wedding guests. People's true emotions of the day.We had an introductory Zoom call with Penny and Earl, after getting to know them within the first few minutes we discovered how friendly and personable they both are. After the call there was no second thought, they are the photographers for us! And, we were overjoyed that they wanted to work with us also.Leading up to the wedding, communication was smooth with finalizing the wedding timeline with what formal shots and group shots that we wanted. Our photos were amazing and better than I could have imagined. Our wedding party was a little crazy and easily distracted, Becca handled it so well and smoothly brought things back to order. Many of my wedding guests let me know how great she was. I would recommend Becca to anyone looking for a wedding photographer!

Kaley Lau: and brought in some confetti poppers. When there was a break in the rain, he snuck us outside and took some of our favorite pictures from the whole wedding. He was super fun and easy to work with, had creative ideas and got all of the shots & then some. Our biggest request was that all of our family and friends would be represented in the photos, and he nailed it. Our very favorites are the unposed and unplanned pictures. Seeing our friends and family laughing, dancing and celebrating with us is the sweetest memory. When we look at our photos it feels like we’re stepping back into that day.

Amy Quanbeck: When we first FaceTimed Gene, we quickly learned that he is funny, easy-going, and so fun to talk to, which on top of being incredibly talented made him an easy choice. From our first meeting she created a wedding timeline which really became the center of my wedding planning and was the same itinerary I gave to all other vendors. With all the planning she did we were so prepared for the day. She was so prepared that when we were running behind it was ok because she knew exactly how to create that timeline where it would work out if things ran behind. She was also very flexible and made the best of every situation if something had to be tweaked. My only advice for future brides is to book her, and if she's already booked. Change your date.
