Rorie Nakisha: had major break down. They took me early it was rescheduled for Friday at 6am. Delivery hours shut down at 2:30pm and I arrived at 1:40pm. The yard is very small but can maneuver to get my 53ft trailer you have to jackknife the truck but traffic can still move around. The dock worker was very impressed because he’s seen several drivers take 45 mins to get it but I made it in one shot. Also to get out you have to back out on to the street at an angle just to clear the tractor to swing out. This is the type of service that drivers like we work together not against each other. Thanks you guys for such a great experience.

Pat Becker: Overall, I’ve been very happy with the Edina location. Over the years I’ve purchased paint here as well as vertical blinds for my patio door.I was a little disappointed in the installment of my blinds, the individual that came out to install them was in a big hurry and rushed through everything, That in itself wasn’t a problem, but one of the fasteners was not screwed in all the way, and is somewhat noticeable as you were coming and going out the patio door.I had these installed in January, and figured somebody would reach out following up on the installation; unfortunately, there was no follow up.

Jeffrey Martin: I brought 2+ year old paint with different tints and they color matched perfectly. Do not waste your time with the big box stores for paint, use Hirshfield’s.

Now we understand that getting a BM paint with a SW color is not necessarily going to be an exact match; we’d done this many times before, but this paint was nowhere close to the right color. We brought it back and they amicably agreed to give us a replacement gallon of a BM color at no additional cost.Obviously we still paid for the paint, but it was better than being out $60.For reference, BM OC-9 Ballet White is a great color!

She spent time making sure the formulation of my paint was correct and when we determined weren't able to use the paint because of the color we were trying to cover. Both her and Josh helped pick a new paint to get my project finished. I was highly impressed with both of them. I'll definitely be back.

Emily Song: I’ve been so happy with my experience at Hirshfield’s! I needed to fix a bunch of outdoor wood trim that was peeling. I knew I needed to scrape/sand it and then prime/paint but had no idea what kind of supplies to get. Between talking to Beth from the help line and Nate at the Woodbury store, they got me set up with everything I needed and even helped with advice about timing and techniques. It was faster to order by phone and pick up at the store than your typical huge home improvement store—and the employees were more friendly and helpful, too!
