The doctors and staff have been so helpful even during incredibly difficult times caring for our elderly dog at the end of his life. I've been going to Lyndale Animal Hospital since I first got a kitten in 2015. It is a wonderful clinic and they are extremely kind and understanding. I am giving 4 stars because their parking lot can sometime be tricky to get into and can be frustrating if you aren't used to uptown.
They love my dog and Mister Musashi loves them. It's always great and trusted. Absolutely golden.
My 16 year old cat was recently seen by Dr. Stoddart for a quite concerning issue. The care that my cat received was so wonderful and caring. My cat is totally thriving now— and doing so well!! I could not be more impressed with the care provided by Dr. Stoddart.

Rylenn Rumler: Brought my 4 year old rescue pitbull this morning after two biting incidents. I’ve only had him for 6 months and his aggression is new as of about 2 months ago. Got lots of great information on further steps and I learned lots of ways to handle his aggression. After talking with them, I have changed my mind on putting him to sleep and we are going to attempt training and some medications to see if we can regulate his anxiety. The staff were very calm in dealing with him as he hates new people, small spaces, and anything in between. The ladies showed me how to be confident when he is stubborn and to ignore his attempts to be scary. They did not critique me and our handlings at all and we felt very safe going there and will definitely be going back for his bloodwork exam. They cleared a path for him walking in and out of the building as well.
MacKenzie Conran: Wonderful place to bring your pet! I was very concerned and the staff were super friendly, accommodating and helpful. Seriously, between the two days I was there recently I must have interacted with 5-6 employees and everyone was so nice. The vet explained things to me in a way I understood and told me the “why” which helps me greatly. You can tell these people really care. They were also very transparent about cost and the price was reasonable. Highly recommend!

They used they/them pronouns to refer to me and I didn't ask them to do so, they were just being respectful as I look semi androgynous. This made me feel really comfortable and welcome. I felt very listened to and they answered all questions I had thoroughly. The vet was really helpful and had a lot of great information for me and was really nice. I liked everyone I interacted with here and I really feel like they love and care about animals as much as I do. Definitely recommend.

Cathy Theisen: We have had tremendous luck and care with our new puppy at this clinic. She seems to be accident prone and we have been able to get appointments within hours of calling. When we aren't dealing with injuries, her check ups have been thorough and done by a staff and doctors who really love dogs!

Jackie Binger: Have been going for years. Only place I trust with our dog. Everyone is fantastic!!! Dr Joe our vet is beyond compassionate- love that he sits on the floor with our dog for check ups. He gets it!!! Darcy is our groomer. She’s so gentle and caring.

Tyler S: We have a Bernese mountain dog we take here and it is by far the best vet we have ever been to. Top notch care by what I believe to be the best there is. Dr Alger and Dr Joe are top notch. The vet techs also are fantastic. The lengths they go to, to make sure my dog is taken care of properly make me feel great about taking him there. Earlier this year my dog had issues going to the bathroom and they immediately got him in and immediately figured out he needed different food. He is in tip top shape now. We also have a very disgruntled cat and this is the only place that has been able to see him without it being incredibly stressful on us. Thank you for the care you all put in to our animals. I will not take our pets anywhere else. Pricing is reasonable as well. Not sure why anyone would rate this place less than 5 stars. The best care for pets in the metro!

T P: ...which s crazy to me because he normally doesn't even like men if I'm around and just never takes treats in a stressful situation. There was one vet tech that came in to draw blood that I felt wasn't very friendly or interactive but the one that came with her was nice enough, though I don't feel like she was listening to my pets airway when holding for blood and this was causing some extra distress that wasn't needed. Overall though, I still give 5 stars because the holder for the blood draw was doing her job, she doesn't know if a dog is going to move at a critical point. So just communication is a big thing.I also really liked Dr Perry. He was very informative and left a very detailed message about the blood work.I think the pricing could be better but that's more just about everywhere.

I was provided a lot of informational pamphlets after my first visit which have been awesome for learning more about caring for my little guy. Monkey is my first pet of my own and I really feel at peace knowing he’s getting such great care. Hopefully I never have to come here for anything other than routine/preventative care, but if I do, I know Monkey is in good hands.
