Vegan East: what do users think?

Jackie: Delicious chocolate chip scone and super tasty sandwiches ! Beautifully decorated cupcakes available in the freezer case, perfect for a grab and go

A. R.: I'm not vegan yet this place makes the best broccoli cheddar soup I've ever had in my life. The young woman who works here is super nice. There's a cute patio in the back. I wish they were open more days of the week!

Mas McMacken: Dietary restrictions: Ordered a vegan chocolate peanut butter cake. It was fantastic!

Sonya Kith: We got gluten-free cupcakes for our son’s 5th birthday who has lots of food allergies. Vegan East came through with delicious cupcakes! Thank you!

Mitchell Wallerstedt: Always delicious. Always delightful.

Casey S: Excellent spot, the staff is amazing as well!

Han Kim: So happy to have another place in NE that does vegan and has GF options. The desserts are amazing and sloppy joes with a cup of soup make my day. Now that it's warm the back patio is open and always playing good music.

Kailee Carlson: . I was recommended to try the chocolate peanut butter bar and man oh man if you like peanut butter and chocolate then you absolutely have to try this. I’m not vegan but it was so good. Definitely want to come back for some iced coffee and one of the sandwiches or soups and other treats!

Nick Yaun: Great tasting muffins

Nikki T.: Stopped in for some treats on my daughter's birthday. They were delicious and the person working threw in a pumpkin loaf for her. Super nice! My daughter said she thought the guy seemed really nice even before he gave her the extra treat. Great service and excellent baked goods!

Brandon Ratcliff: Delicious sloppy joe!

Seed Plant-Based Cafe: what do users think?

Kim Wolfe: Kale Caesar Wrap$13.50There is an entire kale caesar salad inside of this wrap! Kale, capers, maple tempeh bacon, house-made caesar dressing, and lemon, warmed on the grill. It is so delicious that I went back twice in one week. It's the perfect location to stop in and grab a carryout lunch to take to the nearby lakes. It is shareable but don't! You'll want to gobble the entire thing.Update: Website says “temporarily closed. The owner has been charged with sexual assault of a young girl in Canada.Dietary restrictions: Great variety to accommodate most diets.Parking: It's shared parking with a shopping center. Can be quite busy but there is plenty of parking.

Masha Hoy: , golden child

lisa jensen: The best chickpea sandwich ever! I can't stop thinking about it. I'm vegan and I was pleased this sandwich was sooooo good.Food: 5/5 …

Planty McPlanterson: I love the Seed Cafe so much! Amazing vegan food that can be shared with any type of eater. Cozy, happy, and if you feel like checking out a hot yoga class, it’s right inside Modo Yoga. Everyone is very friendly and it’s a happy place for me and my tummy.Dietary restrictions: Vegan, plant-based, gluten-free options

Drake Friesen: Fantastic smoothies!

Brittney St. Aubin: My absolute favorite vegan restaurant ever. I have a sensitive stomach, so going out to eat while also being a vegan is difficult. Thank you for all you do! ❤️Vegetarian options: 100% vegan/plant-based

Kiante Brewer: Great coffee! Even greater service!

Nancy Franke Wilson: that is so delicious. They also host pop-up shops by local small biz and vendors.

Isabel Seibert: This is one of the more low-key vegan spots in Minneapolis, but don't overlook it! It comes off as very healthy, which doesn't always pique my appetite, but Seed has never steered me wrong! I absolutely love everything I've had from them! Their kale Caesar wrap has kale and tempeh, two ingredients that I don't always like, but I think about that wrap so often! The ancient grain granola at brunch was a similar story. I'd also recommend the tahini chocolate chip cookie and chai latte. Its location along the Green Way is superb. It's a great stop on a bike ride!Vegetarian options: It's all vegan!Dietary restrictions: They can help with gluten free options, but allergies, etc!Parking: There's plenty of parking in the lot, but my favorite way to get there is by bike via the Green Way!Kid-friendliness: I see kids there often.

Mike Treuer: Loved it. The staff was super friendly and helpful and the food was delicious, from the display to the taste. I’d definitely come back any time here.Recommended dishes …

blair main: So many delicious vegan options - chickpea salad sandwich is my favorite . plus it’s a very cute place

Brandon Isabell: While it's spendy for the cuisine can't complain on the size of the meal nor the taste. Staff is nice and helpful.

Joshua Lightowler: Chef storia is excellent. She does but just create food, she creates art and happiness in a bowl. The food tastes great and will definitely return for round 2!!!

The Herbivorous Butcher: what do users think?

Andrea M: I first went to herbivorous butcher on a business trip to Minneapolis - maybe 8 years ago. Well fast forward and we are still ordering online from them years later since we don’t live in Minnesota. My husband adores the pastrami! As a long time vegan of 28 years, I have tried many faux meats and cheeses and I think they do an exemplary job. They are super creative people with a vision. I don’t know how they have the time to do everything they do- start a vegan butcher shop; start a farm sanctuary; write a cookbook; open more vegan restaurants… just wow!

Noel Stroner: This brunch spot is adorable and has excellent food and drinks. The service wasn’t great - no one explained to us the self serve area vs full service area when we walked in, just stared at us. Another group walked in behind us and the staff then proceeded to explain everything quite kindly to them. The staff member that took our order at the counter acted quite annoyed and barely spoke to us.

Kellie Hoffman: .The atmosphere was really cool!

A Google User: The cinnamon buns are out of the world Jamison the bartender hook me up I love this place I just hate because they only have it on the weekends

Reverie Cafe + Bar: what do users think?

iara fraga: My family and I love this restaurant. Their brunch menu is our favorite, but everything is delicious. We love the vibe and the service is always attentive and fast. This is a place where we go for years now and they always have new items in their menu.Kid-friendliness: My kid loves their potato wedges, french toast, and the pastries. Reverie knows exactly what a hungry kid wants!

Jessie Deardorff: I learned today modern dye is made from harnessing the gorgeous prismatic iridescent hues of spent motor oil seen in puddles on the roadways. Refer to my Pigeon Society of Orlando, Florida review for observations on pigeon neck luminescence. Pigeons are a rare middle ground where ordinary and extraordinary cross on a Venn diagram. You know how firework colors and community college chemistry lab lessons are made from different substances on the period table for their colors and explosive properties. Pigeons don’t even have to try. Sitting on the patio, under the pergola at the vegetarian restaurant, James, a knowledgeable man with a plethora of impressive skills and interests said “god is dead”. I pondered for a minute or two and decided that he has a point and there is no evidence to the contrary

Gabriella Pangborn: What a lovely place. My friend and I got dinner here, and we both enjoyed the wonderful food, kind servers, and atmosphere. I got the mock duck tacos, cauliflower bulgogi, and delicious house made cheesecake.I wish I lived closer to Powderhorn so I could come here more often! This place is a vegan gem.

Ryleigh Jones: Delicious food

Hailey Olson: Had an event at work catered by Reverie and the entire experience was fantastic. Everyone I worked with to organize the event was so kind, helpful, knowledgeable, and completely went above and beyond! The food was also fantastic! We were feeding a lot of teenagers which can be tricky, but the nacho bar that KG helped us organize was delicious and a huge hit with everyone! Stopped into their physical location on a later date and it’s beautiful. Will be returning to Reverie for sure!

Abbey Herndon: Great vibes, amazing food. They also have outdoor seating in the warmer months. I like that it’s pay when you get the food so you can leave whenever, no waiting for the check. My fav dish is the Mac and cheese.Dietary restrictions: All vegan!

Molly Mayne: . The Brussels sprouts were unique and delicious. I had the lemongrass tofu tacos and they exceeded expectations. Very crispy and well seasoned, and a good sized portion. My dad had the rice and beans and they were very flavorful and filling. Can’t wait to come back another time and try out other things on the menu!

Trio Plant-based: what do users think?

E Becker: Fabulous tasting vegan soul food! The Mac n cheese bowl was perfect on a chilly evening. I was with two non vegans and they loved the food too. Friendly service, fun little place.

Delores Hullett: Delicious food, amazing folks working there and a great black owned business to support.

Miranda: and I absolutely loved the food here!! I tried the regular mac and cheese, onion rings, ranch, bbq pork, cookie, and strawberry mango lemonade. I only got a picture of the lemonade because I dug in right away because it was so tasty. The flavors were delicious across the board we all loved what we ate, the people running the restaurant were so kind and explained things we had questions on, we had a large group and they were very accommodating, and I can’t speak highly enough about this experience. I don’t live in Minneapolis, but I will be back for this restaurant because wow absolutely phenomenal!!Vegetarian options: All options are vegetarian and vegan!Dietary restrictions: Perfect for people with egg, dairy, and meat allergies as everything is vegan.

Laura Norton: I got the bbq pit. As some who is not vegan absolutely delicious! My sister no longer lives here but the Mac attack is her favorite food in the world so she had to get it! The appetizer of onion rings is huge! The cookies are enough for four! My favorite part was the ranch! I’m obsessed! Yes you can buy a bottle!!Vegetarian options: Whole restaurant is vegan!

Jessica Moore: I had the feed your soul bowl and it was absolutely delicious! Kicking myself for not adding the riblets. I had a sip of the strawberry lemonade and it was super good. I highly recommend checking this place out.Dietary restrictions: Vegan

Salty Traun: Ridiculously good food. This stuff is like a hug in a dish. Ordered on a whim abd don't regret it! Please give this amazing restaurant a try ♡Vegetarian options: Whole menu is vegan! I've been veggie for 12 years and this food is some of the best I've had. 👌

Ivan Medrano: I just want to come back to Mpls to try all the menu of this place. Last time I order a wrap I LOVED IT

Helen: Went in for my first time today, and the people working there were so nice despite me coming in 20 minutes until close. The man working there gave me such generous amounts of food for a great price, given that the food is vegan and freshly made. The cauliflower wings are amazing, and the fries and burger were even better! I am definitely returning to support this underrated black-owned business ☺️

mico mico: Food is AWESOME!! I was surprised to see a 20% surcharge on my bill last week. I was in town visiting family and was not aware there's a 20% surcharge on dining in and a 5% surcharge on carry out orders. I was disappointed that you no longer have chicken nuggets. Please consider taking it off your online menu. Disappointed with not having peach cobbler too. Will definitely return the next time I'm in town.

Lamma Toui: OMG this place is amazing for vegans they have the best vegan burgers ever

Kelina Morgan: Baby! Nothing but flavorful food in huge portions! You get so full, makes you wonder if it's all plant-based! I had to share my Cauliflower wings, there was too much! Good people with a chill atmosphere. Love it here!Vegetarian options: The entire menu is plant-based.Kid-friendliness: Open, well-lit, light atmosphere. Kid friendly seating.

Hard Times Cafe: what do users think?

starramus: I didn't order any food, but I am searching for a sufficient adjective to describe the coffee. "Hypersonic" entails the high energy beverage that I so thoroughly enjoyed. I am still vibrating these many years later. Admission should be charged for admittance to the ubiquitously graffiti decorated rest room. Unfortunately the web site states hours of operation are now from 8:00 AM to Midnight. I found the atmosphere to be an entrancing enigma at 3:00 AM, but obviously the 24 hour operation was another victim of capitalism. Where can I get some of that coffee for home brew?

Shannon Mahedy: , and I realized I forgot to write a review, so here we are…Hard Times has a great vibe. Feels rooted in community and is unpretentious and radical. The food was pretty good, but the quality isn’t on par with Modern Times or Seward Cafe in my opinion. I appreciate the vegetarian/vegan options.

Galactic Pizza: what do users think?

Zach: but what restaurant eating out now isn’t?

Gaige Steele: this is the absolute best pasta and pizza i have had at a restaurant. there are tons of gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan options. John really seems to care about his quality of food, and it shows. i got the pasta, and my girlfriend got the pizza, and we were both snagging bites from each other with how good it was. When i come back to Minnesota, this is a must stop.Dietary restrictions: there where so many gluten free options it was amazing to see

LM: I just moved back from WA and got Galactic for the first time in almost a decade. I worked here many moons ago, when Pete was the owner. I also enjoy whoever is replying to the reviews now, I'm assuming the current owner. This place will always have a spot in my heart, and the food is still so good. I can say from knowing personally, everything is high quality and made from scratch. It's actually so impressive, and they were ahead of a lot of trends before they became trendy. I would recommend the Shroomer, Ala Vodka, Mexicali, and Old School. Salads are also a fave, any of them. Glad this place is still around.

Tao Organic Cafe + Herbery: what do users think?

JC: Been going here for 30 years. Love the whole vibe of the place.Food is simple, tasty, and healthy. Upstairs they have bulk herbs for sale. I have also taken a couple of classes here. What I don't like: If you order a fresh juice you will get what they pressed either earlier in the day or the day before from their ready to eat case. I prefer my juice freshly made while I wait.Love this place. In photos: Tao Bowl with tofu and the Earth Potion tea.

D Kingston: This place is spectacular. A friend brought me in to get some herbs to make some tea and first aid salves. I had NO IDEA how neat of a spot this truly is. There is a cafe in the front on the main level, that had thee most delicious smells permeating the entire space. Acend a spiral staircase beyond the cafe, and you'll discover a plethora of not only culinary spices and herbs, but a lengthy wall stocked with jar after jar of varying plant leaves and seeds, ground and whole herbs, and a host of other natural products one would find in such a particular place. Countless ingredients to create an endless list of beneficial health and wellness items, including teas, tinctures, salves, balms, and ointments. Natural medicine at its finest! I was incredibly impressed and beyond delighted upon taking it all in. And after all the glory of the bulk herbs and like commodities, there is a gift shop/emporium of some fun , kitchy things, alongside varying prepackaged natural health remedies and wellness aides. Additionally, they carry educational and instructional materials to aquire the skills to create the aforementioned remedies/aides for oneself. This place is a gold mine in terms of goodness one can aquire there. Not to mention, the excellent customer service I received while I visited. I inquired about a culinary item and they did not carry it. The clerk offered to take my number down and contact me if and when they got some in stock. Above and beyond and I'm a customer for life, now. Kudos and thank you for what you're providing to our community. Highly recommend!

veda: Such a cute place! Went to have breakfast with a friend and we both loved our food, Great place if you’re gluten intolerant. Very friendly service as well!

William Boland: and you feel good after eating. We had avocado toast and the curry bowl which went down so quick and easy I forgot to take pictures. The coffee

Corbin Moulder: Such a friendly group of workers and the food is always excellent. Feel very welcome here!

Tyler McDonald: Stopped into Tao having neglected to take the few minutes to check it out on my previous excursions to the twin cities. Wow am I impressed. They offer a healthy variety of organic, locally sourced eats and even offer elixirs + health tonics as-well as coffee drinks & teas.I was greeted by a wonderful staff member who was very kind and helpful when asked about the menu / cafe. While waiting for your food, you are able to go explore the shop in the back which is full of herbal supplements, locally crafted goods, & a bunch more stuff that fit the holistic health vibe.Food itself was great and tasted very fresh. Super nutritious and I love that they go the extra mile to source quality, organic ingredients. Would highly recommend checking this place out!Vegetarian options: Most dishes can be modified to be vegetarian if not already. Clean organic ingredients.Dietary restrictions: Able to cater to a verity of dietary restrictions. Vegan / Vegetarian options available.Kid-friendliness: Welcoming environment for children, very kind people & calm setting.

Ishmam Ahmed: Finally stopped in after wanting to for a long time, and I can tell you the experience was even better than expected! Half café, half wellness boutique, the environment was bright, friendly, and comfortable. The Sun and Moon potions were tasty and came in a properly large mug! It was rejuvenating to visit. Thanks Tao, can’t wait to be back again.

Robyn: i love tao i love their little store that’s connected but this was $35. we split the sandwhich.

Stray Dog: what do users think?

Amber R: I generally enjoy going to Stray Dog but the service is not what it once was. I understand the place gets busy but drinks go without refills, and most recently we wrapped up our dinner in under an hour, but according to the rules of table reservations parties of 4 are allowed up to 2 hours. We were leaving soon and had paid the tab.We were a party of 3, and our third went to use the rest room. While we were waiting for her return a manager came and told us we had 5 minutes to wrap it up. Bizarre and pushy, especially because we were dining with a reservation and had occupied the table for less than hour. Love the burgers, bummed about the service.

christina marie Johnson: We rented the back room and had a lovely time! It was a minimum of 1500$ that we were told we needed to spend but we had a lot of people! They did everyone on separate tabs too which was super convenient. It was a really cool set up and I’d Recommend it if you had like 30 ppl!Vegetarian options: Some vegan options too!Dietary restrictions: I think I saw gluten free options

Pat Williams: Great burgers and hot dogs. Extensive and tasty vegetarian menu. Amazingly wide selection of beers.Vegetarian options: Entire vegetarian version of the menu that can also largely be customized to be vegan. Also, lots of vegan "meat" options from the Herbivorous Butcher.

Stephen Thiessen: Great vibe. Staff were super friendly and attentive. The food was quality and cooked perfectly. My wife has specific food restrictions and they had great vegan and vegetarian options.Limited specialty cocktails, but a great mule selection.

Karina Smith: We happened to find this place because my husband and I were working Uber one night and decided to come back and try it since it had a cool atmosphere and the food looked good. I'm glad we came back, because it was fantastic! My husband and I shared appetizers: Chiya Chili Potatoes & the Aloo Tikki Chaat. Both were absolutely phenomenal. Normally we don't finish appetizers, these were gone within minutes! For our main courses, we had the Chicken Creamy Masala Curry and the Slow Cooked Bone-In Goat Curry, and a side of the Garlic Paratha. we tried two different types of Chai tea's and of course, the Mango Lassi, All absolutely amazing, we still can't stop talking about how good it all was. We will absolutely be coming back to try the rest of the menu, as this place did not disappoint at all and exceeded all expectations! Additionally to this, the service was just fantastic, thank you for such a wonderful date night!

Harry Singh's Original Caribbean Restaurant: what do users think?

Cindy Christians: and to not try to be a hero. Well, that was excellent advice because it was HOT! It was a real journey from my plate to you know where. I loved it even though I'm not used to eating spicy foods. The owner served us and told us about his food made from scratch. I will never forget this day. Thank you Mr. Singh! So many diverse people came into the restaurant and placed phone orders while we were eating. It was obvious that we were in the company of greatness.

K.V. Paurus: Being here wakens the senses! The aromas are wonderful, and the casual, laid back atmosphere makes me feel like I’ve left the USA and am on vacation somewhere warm. Plus, Harry’s signature hot sauce will slap you in the mouth, get you high, and mock what level of spicy you think you can handle. 🔥 Thrilled to have this underdog of a restaurant back!!!!

Andrew M: Super super good. Not sure why it’s closed right now but damn, Minneapolis will be fortunate if it reopens. God willing

Herbie Butcher's Fried Chicken: what do users think?

Katherine LeRoy: A good time!!! I thoroughly enjoyed my food and service. I stopped eating chicken for an abundance of reasons 7+ years ago and being able to go to Herbie Butcher Fried Chicken and getting a bucket of plant based fried chicken and biscuits is a fantastic experience for me. Juicy and the breading on their “chicken” is perfect! Keep in mind that I am from the south and currently live in the south. I’m definitely going to find away to visit the city again to have more and I understand that they even ship their chicken …

Matthew Bender: that it was our first time and he recommended the two piece bucket. We got honey mustard as the dipping sauce and mashed potatoes as the side. Our order was out in less than 5 minutes. The gravy on the mash was incredible and the maple "butter" was just perfect for the biscuit. The chicken and tots were crispy and hot. I caught myself wondering why I'd even need to bother eating real chicken again. The chicken is that good!!Vegetarian options: All vegetarian, even the items refered to as "meat."

rye_ bread: chicken sandwich fanatic absolutely loved the hot honnee sandwich. For me though the fried pickles were such a slay.Vegetarian options: ALL PLANT BASED ✨

A.J.: Just do it, don’t consider anywhere else for lunch/dinner…just go. Herbies chicken is by far, hands down, no questions asked, the BEST vegan chicken I have ever had. There is no feeling like ordering a BUCKET of chicken with ranch and just chowing down! The flavor was perfect, and the level of crunch can’t be beat. The sides complimented the chicken very well too. Only issue is the inside seating is a little squishy, but with some chicken to eat, who cares.

Alec Santelman: Look I love the place but half of the time I've eaten-in someone has walked in and started to order without realizing it's a vegan joint. They could probably make that clearerAnyways, great food!

Molly Zupon: After being a vegetarian for 24 years, the one thing I’ve said I’ve always missed is fried chicken. This place is AMAZING! It impressed even my meat eating husband!
