Red Cow 50th & France: what do users think?

Lizz Rogers: Great gluten-free substitutes. Dedicated GF fryers. I miss the specialty popcorn tho.Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free options

Shawn Miranda: I got the 60/40 burger rare and chicken tenders with a hot dry rub, and it was cooked to my liking. I also got a Moscow Mule, it was okay, but nothing to write home about.Parking: There's a free parking lot but it doesn't have a lot of stalls. I had to park 2 blocks away and walk over. It wasn't a big deal but it would be less than ideal in the winter.

Adam Levy: Red Cow 50th & France is fantastic! A buddy and I just stopped in today and were greeted and seated in very short order on the lovely patio. Our server knew the menu well, made suggestions and accomodated special needs with aplomb! The food was delicious and I was very happy with the new balsamic onion jam and the service was great! I'll return very soon!

Lloyd Nickel: We stopped for dinner on a Thursday night. We sat at the bar. The place was already staring to fill up and it was 5:30 pm. Bartender was very friendly and we ordered our drinks. We ordered food-Double Barrel Burger and chicken wrap. Both were fantastic. I have grown to love smash burgers and the special sauce was fantastic. Also ordered sweet potato planks. Would definitely recommend.

Sacha Bisou: in which case you will be led to the left. It was the lunch hour and a rather warm day for the locals and so the right wing was filled with retired folk who were getting a break from the 30 degree chill of March. Yes it was a rather warm winter for these folks who missed their subzero rituals this year. Thanks to the Red Cow, this was the right place to come together and catch up just like old times. The fare was delish and the hamburgers served here are unapologetically real beef. The salads here seem to be an attraction as well and have their own following. But if you just want to have your space, take a left at the entrance and order something from the bar to warm up your core, fingers and toes.

Joanne Ziarko: Visited while on a MOA Spring Break from Chicago. Really nice location. Food was delicious. I had the patty melt with coleslaw and my husband had the chilaquiles, which he also enjoyed. Kiddos enjoyed their chicken and grilled cheese; I appreciate that it came with veggies and a surprise cookie. Service was very quick but polite as it should be. I will note they do not serve poutine fries anymore which is why we came here in the first place, but we weren't disappointed with all of the other options. Would definitely come again if we're ever in the area.

Mark Solie: Ok I'm getting very hard to please in my old age when it comes to restaurants. Are they clean? Is the food exceptional? Is the service impeccable? Almost always I have a gripe. My first time to Red cow. It was clean, food was exceptional, service impeccable. Fantastic experience on a busy Saturday night. The only negative I have is can get very loud which it was. Will be back!

French Meadow Cafe & Bluestem Bar: what do users think?

Noel Stroner: This brunch spot is adorable and has excellent food and drinks. The service wasn’t great - no one explained to us the self serve area vs full service area when we walked in, just stared at us. Another group walked in behind us and the staff then proceeded to explain everything quite kindly to them. The staff member that took our order at the counter acted quite annoyed and barely spoke to us.

Kellie Hoffman: .The atmosphere was really cool!

A Google User: The cinnamon buns are out of the world Jamison the bartender hook me up I love this place I just hate because they only have it on the weekends

Stray Dog: what do users think?

Amber R: I generally enjoy going to Stray Dog but the service is not what it once was. I understand the place gets busy but drinks go without refills, and most recently we wrapped up our dinner in under an hour, but according to the rules of table reservations parties of 4 are allowed up to 2 hours. We were leaving soon and had paid the tab.We were a party of 3, and our third went to use the rest room. While we were waiting for her return a manager came and told us we had 5 minutes to wrap it up. Bizarre and pushy, especially because we were dining with a reservation and had occupied the table for less than hour. Love the burgers, bummed about the service.

christina marie Johnson: We rented the back room and had a lovely time! It was a minimum of 1500$ that we were told we needed to spend but we had a lot of people! They did everyone on separate tabs too which was super convenient. It was a really cool set up and I’d Recommend it if you had like 30 ppl!Vegetarian options: Some vegan options too!Dietary restrictions: I think I saw gluten free options

Pat Williams: Great burgers and hot dogs. Extensive and tasty vegetarian menu. Amazingly wide selection of beers.Vegetarian options: Entire vegetarian version of the menu that can also largely be customized to be vegan. Also, lots of vegan "meat" options from the Herbivorous Butcher.

Stephen Thiessen: Great vibe. Staff were super friendly and attentive. The food was quality and cooked perfectly. My wife has specific food restrictions and they had great vegan and vegetarian options.Limited specialty cocktails, but a great mule selection.

J. Selby's: what do users think?

Emily Bond: eating plant based. Who knew their Crunchwrap supreme would be better than the T Bell original?! Their version of a DQ blizzard is also incredible—had the cookie dough one. My biggest regret is that I don’t live in Minnesota and I can’t eat here everyday. An easy and much deserved 5 stars. Can’t wait to go back!

Gabriella Pangborn: My favorite vegan restaurant of all time ❤️ I take friends and family here every chance I get. There isn’t a thing on the menu I wouldn’t recommend - it’s all delicious! You guys are awesome! Thank you for everything you do for our community.Vegetarian options: Everything is vegan! ❤️

Danielle Greving: but this was not the case at all. Wouldn’t have even guessed it was vegan cheese if I didn’t know. Definitely recommend checking out even if you’re not vegan/veg!

Red Cow North Loop: what do users think?

Mary McGee: and I rarely eat at restaurants because of it. I was so impressed with their willingness to help me find a meal I could eat! The manager himself stopped by to make sure they had the list of allergies correct before they placed the order. It was one of the best salads I've ever had! I didn't even think to take a picture, but I'll just say it was beautiful. :

Aaron Forbes: First time in a long time have had such spot on food. Their 60/40 burger can only be described as divine. Not a lover of Swiss and Mushroom Burgers but this may just have converted me.Glen was an excellent waiter, spot on with recommendations and went the extra mile to make sure everything was perfect. Bartender makes some mean margaritas also which rounded out the experience nicely.

Paige Meldahl: JESSICA D was absolutely amazing, she was engaged, she was very conversational and honestly so kind. Her customer service was insane & made our girls night out so amazing, thank you Jessica!

Trio Plant-based: what do users think?

E Becker: Fabulous tasting vegan soul food! The Mac n cheese bowl was perfect on a chilly evening. I was with two non vegans and they loved the food too. Friendly service, fun little place.

Delores Hullett: Delicious food, amazing folks working there and a great black owned business to support.

Miranda: and I absolutely loved the food here!! I tried the regular mac and cheese, onion rings, ranch, bbq pork, cookie, and strawberry mango lemonade. I only got a picture of the lemonade because I dug in right away because it was so tasty. The flavors were delicious across the board we all loved what we ate, the people running the restaurant were so kind and explained things we had questions on, we had a large group and they were very accommodating, and I can’t speak highly enough about this experience. I don’t live in Minneapolis, but I will be back for this restaurant because wow absolutely phenomenal!!Vegetarian options: All options are vegetarian and vegan!Dietary restrictions: Perfect for people with egg, dairy, and meat allergies as everything is vegan.

Laura Norton: I got the bbq pit. As some who is not vegan absolutely delicious! My sister no longer lives here but the Mac attack is her favorite food in the world so she had to get it! The appetizer of onion rings is huge! The cookies are enough for four! My favorite part was the ranch! I’m obsessed! Yes you can buy a bottle!!Vegetarian options: Whole restaurant is vegan!

Jessica Moore: I had the feed your soul bowl and it was absolutely delicious! Kicking myself for not adding the riblets. I had a sip of the strawberry lemonade and it was super good. I highly recommend checking this place out.Dietary restrictions: Vegan

Salty Traun: Ridiculously good food. This stuff is like a hug in a dish. Ordered on a whim abd don't regret it! Please give this amazing restaurant a try ♡Vegetarian options: Whole menu is vegan! I've been veggie for 12 years and this food is some of the best I've had. 👌

Ivan Medrano: I just want to come back to Mpls to try all the menu of this place. Last time I order a wrap I LOVED IT

Helen: Went in for my first time today, and the people working there were so nice despite me coming in 20 minutes until close. The man working there gave me such generous amounts of food for a great price, given that the food is vegan and freshly made. The cauliflower wings are amazing, and the fries and burger were even better! I am definitely returning to support this underrated black-owned business ☺️

mico mico: Food is AWESOME!! I was surprised to see a 20% surcharge on my bill last week. I was in town visiting family and was not aware there's a 20% surcharge on dining in and a 5% surcharge on carry out orders. I was disappointed that you no longer have chicken nuggets. Please consider taking it off your online menu. Disappointed with not having peach cobbler too. Will definitely return the next time I'm in town.

Lamma Toui: OMG this place is amazing for vegans they have the best vegan burgers ever

Kelina Morgan: Baby! Nothing but flavorful food in huge portions! You get so full, makes you wonder if it's all plant-based! I had to share my Cauliflower wings, there was too much! Good people with a chill atmosphere. Love it here!Vegetarian options: The entire menu is plant-based.Kid-friendliness: Open, well-lit, light atmosphere. Kid friendly seating.

The Malt Shop: what do users think?

Rachel Mendez: The service was fantastic. The burgers were good, but I have several burger joints around the Twin Cities that I like more; this place was definitely all about atmosphere.Kid-friendliness: Great for kids. Games and Foosball downstairs.

Justin Smith: Atmosphere is great, a throw back to and old timey malt shop meets trendy mid-scale restaurant. Malts were good, shakes were meh - nothing special. And with malts... I mean it's ice cream and malt powder so... yeah. Food was good overall, other people got burgers and said it was good. I got a veggie sandwich thing and asked for extra aioli - it came with none and I had to ask for it again. Fries were pretty good. Overall it was an average experience. Server was nice and again the atmosphere was kinda neat/different. Everything else was pretty meh and prices were a bit crazy.

Gina “Gina Eats”: Nice menu for a malt shop!! You can be creative with your malt flavors. Arrived right at 1100 so quick service and very friendly staff. You can also get a boozy malt. I had the chicken sandwich and fries. Both were fresh and delicious!!Kid-friendliness: Dinner side and a bar side

The Nook: what do users think?

Robert Stevens: Minnesota hospitality was five stars!Austin and Grace were excellent ambassadors for the Nook and the city of Saint Paul. Onion Rings, Stuffed Burgers, Side Salad, Fries, and lemonade were fresh, cooked as well as well could get while preserving cheese stuff inside. Check this place out when you're in Saint Paul next.

Jenna Carnes: . Walls in the bar downstairs are covered in dollar bills which is fun but also just.. unsanitary. Who knows how long they’ve been there, collecting dust/debris and grease. Brought hand sanitizer luckily.A member of our group used the bathroom and said they wouldn’t have used it if it wasn’t an emergency.. so, there’s that. With all of that said, I’d still come back for the food, just upstairs or takeout. Their burgers and bar snack food were wonderful! Especially the fries and cheese curds. And the service friendly and attentive. Overall a good experience.Parking: Sunday afternoon had plenty of free street parking.

Hard Times Cafe: what do users think?

starramus: I didn't order any food, but I am searching for a sufficient adjective to describe the coffee. "Hypersonic" entails the high energy beverage that I so thoroughly enjoyed. I am still vibrating these many years later. Admission should be charged for admittance to the ubiquitously graffiti decorated rest room. Unfortunately the web site states hours of operation are now from 8:00 AM to Midnight. I found the atmosphere to be an entrancing enigma at 3:00 AM, but obviously the 24 hour operation was another victim of capitalism. Where can I get some of that coffee for home brew?

Shannon Mahedy: , and I realized I forgot to write a review, so here we are…Hard Times has a great vibe. Feels rooted in community and is unpretentious and radical. The food was pretty good, but the quality isn’t on par with Modern Times or Seward Cafe in my opinion. I appreciate the vegetarian/vegan options.

Dario Auquilla: 05/04/24 8:30pm…Everything was perfect but the services, specially the waiter. tall guy, wearing a hat and shorts, serving the booth area. I’ve been coming here for a long time “6 years”and this is the first time and I had such as a mediocre and rude services. He most be totally new that he didn’t been try his best to give a good services. Or maybe he was taking it personal after I asked if they could go easy on the seasoning on my wings, which he denied my request. He told me he can give me the seasoning on the side so I can do “whatever I want with it”…after that, he totally forget about us. I had to yelled so I can get my tab and leave. He can do better than that.Food and beer the best thou.

Leah H: Decided to do a pick up after work. Online order was easy and ready in about 25 minutes.Has its own parking and nice atmosphere, music not to loud and food wasn't bad.Got the Blucy with mayo and lettuce for $11.25 and decent taste. Lot of nice melted cheese inside the burger.I also got the 10 piece chicken which was a little disappointing, on the dry side and barely any meat for $9.95, wasn't really worth it to me. Overall wasn't bad experience. Would recommend the Blucy.

Peggy Mccabe: BLT delicious, saw a review said it was so tasty, i got avocado an xtra bacon an comes w a baked potato

Ken Thomas: From Illinois the best burger I have had in a very long time!!!!!.... OATMEAL MUSIC 🎶

Jes DeLapp: The ambiance at the restaurant was laid-back, and the servers provided excellent service, ensuring we had everything we needed. However, managing our table became a bit challenging as they didn't clear our plates, especially with my small children reaching for things. Despite this minor inconvenience, the atmosphere seemed more conducive to dinner or hanging out at the bar. While they have a few arcade games and a kid's menu, there was an underlying "quick in and out" vibe if you weren't drinking alcohol, despite our server's assurance that we could stay as long as we wanted. She was exceptionally kind throughout our visit. One downside was the absence of a drink menu; instead, you had to approach the bar to view the beer selection or rely on your knowledge. Unprepared, I chose a random drink and ended up with something I didn't enjoy. For our meals, my sister ordered a burger and fries, while my kids got chicken strips and fries, which were generously portioned and seemed freshly made. I took the leftovers home for the kids’ dinner later. As a vegetarian, I ordered nachos without meat, and they were delicious, topped generously with jalapeños and black olives, though I had to push some aside. We also tried the onion fries, which were a hit even with the young ones—ages 1 and 3.

James Wooley: . I was right.

Mike McHugh: The burgers are delicious

Captain Snook: Friggin nice! I went here on a random day out the week and it was happy hour! I got the bacon cheese burger! It was massive and I barely finished it! The burger had flavor and well cooked also. The ingredients were fresh and tasty.. this restaurant is a good place to have drinks with buddies or a quick stop while out on the town. Good prices @ happy hour on beers and food .The atmosphere is great with excellent customer service! Grady is one of the best at making sure you feel comfortable and well took care of.. overall great experience👍

The Herbivorous Butcher: what do users think?

Andrea M: I first went to herbivorous butcher on a business trip to Minneapolis - maybe 8 years ago. Well fast forward and we are still ordering online from them years later since we don’t live in Minnesota. My husband adores the pastrami! As a long time vegan of 28 years, I have tried many faux meats and cheeses and I think they do an exemplary job. They are super creative people with a vision. I don’t know how they have the time to do everything they do- start a vegan butcher shop; start a farm sanctuary; write a cookbook; open more vegan restaurants… just wow!
