Gloria Abas: Everyone from the doctors to the nurses were excellent! My husband was on the 6th floor ICU unit. One of his nurses named Lexi provided such great care. The hospital itself can be a little overwhelming due to construction but everyone was so friendly on giving directions for where we needed to be.Thank you for your kindness and the care you provided!

terry jaffoni: . From arrival to discharge, the experience was very positive, professional and caring. Dr. Robert Tuttle was my surgeon, and I can't say enough good things about him. He was thorough in his initial consultation, saw me again in his office prior to surgery to ensure I had read all the material and answered any questions. The Allina book about hip replacement was well written and an excellent resource before, during and after my surgery. Admissions at the hospital went smoothly, all staff was especially caring and also fun, which put me at ease. In particular, I want to recognize my nurse Stacy, who was part of the care team on the 7th floor. She was absolutely excellent, reassuring, caring and fun. I am so appreciative of all the providers at Abbott as the job they do is hard and not without risk. We are lucky here in Minnesota to have such a great hospital and talented professionals to provide us care!

Chrissy Schubert: It is extremely hard to find a doctor that is so kind and compassionate these days. Dr. Tholen has taken amazing care of me over the last 10+ years. I came to him with struggles from a prior surgeon and he did everything in his power to help me. Not only that, I trust this man with my life, literally!!! During a yearly check up, he and his nurse advised me to remove an odd looking mole on my heal of all places. Results came back precancerous. Therefore I’d never go anywhere else. In fact, I don’t know what I will do when he retires.

Holli Gustafson: Had my 2nd breast augmentation surgery with Dr.Tholen and he is hands down the best in the Twin Cities area. Some people review him as “arrogant” based on different things - like interviews, forum replies, etc without actual surgery experience with him. I was his patient and he done an amazing job. He Is very polite, thoughtful and easy going. My surgery was so well done that not only I had an amazing results in terms of how it looks, but my post op recovery was super quick and almost painless. I didn’t need any prescription painkillers and was back in my gym in 10 days. He is also very thoughtful about recommending cosmetic surgeries - I was asking him about nose job and he told something like “your nose is beautiful I don’t think you need anything done”

Jill Barrette: I had an EEG performed here and the overall experience was well executed and seamless. The building has a neat architecture, and the entrances are clearly marked and I had no issue finding the door I needed. Checking in was easy and I felt like I was called back to get started before I picked a seat in the lobby. The individual performing the EEG took good care as not to pull at my hair and managed the static that occurred. The room I was in was comfortable and I was able to complete the process with no added stress from my surroundings.

Michelle Carpenter: Dr Zhao and her team have gone way out of their way to be helpful. I had an emergency issue, and everywhere is booked out for months. They took the time to see me on their breaks, call me back while in duty at the hospital and overall have been kind and helpful on this new journey. Clearly not cheap and yes lots of expensive tests are needed to neurologist to do their jobs but way better than expected. I will admit not easy to get any appointment, referral and insurance companies do this and the teams navigate as best they can.

Tammy Englund: I cannot say enough positive things about Jessica Idahor!!Over the past several years I have sought out help from many medical professionals for health issues and have felt increasingly dismissed, gaslighted and left wondering what I’m supposed to do now. I’ve run into so many doctors who clearly do not care and lack desire to actually help patients find solutions to address their health. Or worse, spend their time making patients feel like their problems aren’t legitimate or nothing can be done.That all changed when I had an appointment with Jessica Idahor. I’ve been seeing her for a few years now and wish I could have her as my provider for everything. She actually listens, truly cares about patients, is insightful, genuine, and is the best provider I have ever had, hands down. I truly feel like I have an advocate who cares about me as a person and wants to improve peoples lives. If it wasn’t for her I don’t know what I would do. She is absolutely wonderful and I am so grateful.
Jeffrey Pomeroy: At first I was not impressed with my first care provider. Then I was handed off to Dr. Dastagir for migraine treatment. Dr. Dastagir is warm and kind. He will take time and listen to the patient. He also wants the patient to be an active part in his or her treatment plan. Just be mindful it may take a while until both of you find the right treatment plan for the individual! I have had all my calls returned and voicemail answered. Unfortunately this may take 24 to 48 hours. Just wish the clinic would have a phone bank. Where you could speak to a live person when you call in.
