Levi Purdum: I enjoyed the experience. The staff were friendly and open to conversation. I'm not an artist and certainly an amateur observer of art who greatly enjoyed the leading questions and engagement when offered by staff. In particular the lanky young employee who politely informed me of their water bottle policy before I entered the first exhibit also proved to be a wealth of information. In the very next room another employee successfully challenged me into recognizing a word in what largely appeared to be a jumble of chaos. The statue garden was fantastic and actively enjoyed by children adding a practical value to the inherent aesthetic value.

Mill City Museum: what do users think?

Sandra Pritchard: We thought it would be a quick visit. No, it was well thought out. A 20 minute film on the history of the Mills and Minneapolis. Then the Flour Tower, inspired. I am not going to give away secrets 😁. The whole experience of the Mill City Museum was awesome. It is a must to see. Views of the Mississippi from the observation deck were breathtaking.

Jay Barnes: We had been there several years ago. The museum has grown into a really good place. The exhibits are well organized and relevant to the history of Minneapolis. It was appropriate for mature adults and school groups. Parking on the street or in a nearby ramp was easy.Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended No …

Richard Erickson: Wonderful museum. About 2 to 3 hours for a visit. Great for kids with lots of hands-on exhibits. The flour tower is a cool exhibit. Great place to introduce people to the history of Minneapolis.

Jillissa Molnari: I recently visited Mill City Museum and was amazed by its rich history and unique setting. The museum, built within the ruins of the Washburn A Mill, offers a captivating glimpse into the revolutionary milling processes that shaped Minneapolis into the flour milling capital of the world in the late 19th century. The museum showcases the technological advancements of the Washburn-Crosby Co., later General Mills, and how it brought fine wheat flour to the masses. Walking through the National Historic Landmark, I could feel the significance of this site and its impact on the local community. The Minnesota Historical Society has done a fantastic job preserving and presenting this important piece of history. A must-visit for history buffs and anyone interested in Minneapolis' industrial heritage. The interactive Flour Tower was amazing, including a ride to the top of the mill and being able to see much of the Mississippi River!

Jeanette Taylor: Enjoyed seeing the history.Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended Not sure …

Samantha Tubbs: If it weren't for the Flour Tower, I might have been disappointed...but it alone is worth the price of admission.

Schaper Park: what do users think?

Nicole Borgos: What a fun park! Kids had a blast!Playground: Playground was a good size. Geared towards younger kids

Robin Ehrlich: Great park for kids

Lauren Clements: Still a great park, sadly some of the astrotruff is getting pulled up. Otherwise it has aged well. It's great for most kids that like to run and climb. This park is always busy though I don't think I have seen it empty for more than 10 minutes. I do wish there was a swingset add. It could be in a different area to keep people from getting in the way of the swingset. Otherwise really a fun park to play at.Playground: Great ninja park playground. Has a course you can time yourself running thru. It also has a smaller playset with sides and a bouch of different things to play. It has music stuff, cool spinning things and a bouch of of things. It has slides and ramps and different types of things to climb up on. There also is a dash running track on the side of the playground.Restrooms: They are a little bit out of the way over by the baseball fields.Picnic area: Different places to sit and over by the baseball fields there's tables.

Jared Simpson: Great place for kids. My 2 year old and 5 year old can both play there. Fun obstacle course too!2/21/24 update - still a great place! My kids are now 6 and 9, and they still love it.

Moises Gomez: Spanish below:This park is one of my children's favorites because they like everything about Ninja Warriors. With this good weather we have in the middle of winter, why not take advantage of the opportunity to go and draw out the children's energy. The bad thing is that due to the season, the bathrooms were closed, so we couldn't use them. I highly recommend this place. My children are 10, 8 and 4 and they enjoy it very much. This park is one of my children's favorites because they like everything about Ninja Warriors. Also, there's a playground with slides and tunnels but this park is more like an obstacle course of things to climb amd balance on.Playground: There's slides and tunnels but this park is more like an obstacle course of things to climb amd balance on.Picnic area: They have Drinking fountains! John Halliday: Lovely park for walking my dog

Josh Schulze: Kids loved it. Great place to blow out a knee as a parent.

Jon Gerster: It's hard to place Schaper Park because it's a great park for grade schoolers and Middle Schoolers but not toddlers. There's some softball diamonds nearby as well as a pond and a trail. The park is not very big and there isn't a ton of parking that's close. But if you're looking to entertain some kids, especially really active, sporty kids, this is the park to go to. There's a 40 yard dash as well as a good amount of other football training equipment that the kids can play with.

Brice Triepke: Always fun
